Our stay at the Bayview was great. The staff were courtesy, friendly and helpful, the location for our needs was perfect and the room was just what we needed after 3 months on a Thai tropical island in small a 2 star room. The hotel is a quick 10 Ringet taxi ride from the Kauh ferry terminal, and is walking distance to lots of duty free stores and local market restaurants. It is not a beach resort, but has a good swimming pool. The buffet breakfast had lots of Asian and Indian dishes, but still catered for western tastes with cerals, fruits, omelette, toast and coffee. The view from our 9th floor room was great and we felt relaxed by the pool, supplied with towels and deck chairs. We would definitely stay there again if we needed a hotel in Langkawi. Stayed here for 4 days 3 nights. Staffs are very friendly, always greet us whenever we bumped into any of the staff. Breakfast is just a so-so. Crossaint & live station of prata & egg station is the best. Otherwise, everyday about the same food. Loving the ladies pool. No one was there most of the time so me and my friend had the entire pool to ourselves. View at ladies pool is so calming and nice. Room cleanliness is okay, would be better if the carpet is more softer and cleaner looking. View in our room is superb, sea view! Benefits is we can sun dry our swimming clothes at the balcony. Tv channels are limited but okay. We’re out doing activities most of the time anyway. Toilet size is just nice, not too big or too small. Shower towel however was rough texture. Ironing board is not cushion enough so when I iron my clothes, have those ironing board marks. Those criss cross thingy. Distance to the main attractions of Langkawi is far. We took grab everyday because we didn’t hire any driver or we don’t drive/ride. Grab price to and back attraction place is about RM18 each. However, hotel is near the jetty. Hotel is also beside a mall but don’t expect much from the mall. We went to the pasar malam everyday because everyday different place. Nice adventure. KFC is just opposite our hotel, a great help to fix our dinner because we were so dead tired from snorkelling but still want to eat bcos hungry. Haha! There’s a counter at the ground level of hotel where you can enquire & book for places of attraction. The staff there, Fatin, was very helpful and able to communicate in English. Benefit for my Chinese friend, at least I don’t have to do translation. Transaction for the attractions is smooth and our driver (sorry I forgot your name) to heli + skycab is very helpful and friendly too. Would recommend this place definitely for my muslim ladies friends who wants to go ladies swimming pool and for in the future if I want some nice quieter, less busy ambience.

If you have travel arrangements to Langkawi, we could really recommend this wonderful hotel. It started right at the time we checked in. Since we had a baby with us we could get a upgrade to a much better room WITHOUT any extra costs. In one word...WOW!! And that when we payed the real minimum for a hotel at this standard. Conclusion: this is your hotel in Langkawi!!

We were immediately welcomed to the Westin by the sound of the gong upon arrival. Staff gently ushered us to the reception for check-in, while another brought us cold towels and a selection of 'elixirs' on a hot and humid day. Syu'ab handled our check-in and out smoothly. He also recommended many good places serving local foods. The night market is the highlight! With such wide array, we were spoilt for choice. The location is away from the town and crowd and that was definitely something we look forward to, to end our day- some peace and tranquility, exactly how we expected. As for the facilities, we were out on all 4 of the five days while in Langkawi and did not get the chance to experience them all. Though the beach is not the best to swim in, the view and grounds of the Westin Langkawi, provided some solace. Definitely recommend Westin Langkawi for families.

We stayed 3 nights in Bahagia. The rooms were a bit small for our liking, but their free breakfast (buffet style) was awesome with lots of variety. The hotel only offers free wifi in the lobby, when we reached the hotel, their free wifi in the lobby didn't work but the owner's daughter gave us 2 free wifi coupons (worth 10 RM each) to use in our rooms. Our only complain is that the hotel had lots of mosquitoes both in the lobby and rooms, other than that everything was great. If you're planning to come to Langkawi then I suggest you stay in Cenang beach area instead of Kuah as it's more nearer to the beach and other attractions the city has to offer.

This is a good old hotel right in the Kuah Old Town. Many eateries within walking distance. Good for travellers who do not rent a car. There is a swimming pool but I did not use. Room is spacious. Furnitures are old style but acceptable. Old style mini fridge very efficient ( the new cooler plate mini fridge in newer hotels are simply hopeless. A major reason I decided to try out this old hotel in Langkawi). Cleanliness in the room is good. Good daily housekeeping. The mainly Asian daily breakfast was good for us. Room aircond is very efficient. A good 3-star old hotel. Keep up the good work. We visit Langkawi every 6 months. We will return to stay in our next trip.

My husband and I decided on St. Regis Langkawi, was the best choice, after sourcing a few other hotels. And boy, were we in for a treat. The staff were attentive and friendly. They were very welcoming. We got upgraded FOC as they knew we were on our anniversary. The decor was so immaculate and luxurious. If the facilities in St. Regis weren't enough, you can get a buggy ride to use the sister's hotel, Westin, facilities. The hotels are just next to each other. A butler was assigned to each of the suites, and should we require their services, they would attend to us. I've never felt so pampered. I wish I can come and stay in this little piece of heaven again in the future. (:

I stay at langkasuka hotel for 4d3n,what I can say is it was worth hotel to stay. I love the staff friendly as they help us a lot in guiding us choose the best attraction at Langkawi. I would love to stay here again. For me the location is suutable for me but having rental is a must if you want stay here, as the location quite far from airport,cenang beach,cable car.The grab service is easily to get here but if you are in bigger group its affordable. during my stay I didnt book for breakfast, but I have talked to other tourist they were satisfied with the breakfast prepared. This hotel just beside langkawi parade as you can find pharmacy,food,cloth,ATM etc easily. Yeah, the building decoration looks quite old and you need to walk quite far to go to your room, but other than that I was satisfied with the cleaniness and service.👍👍👍

It a new built motel/inn...we had a half day stay here coz our flight is at 9pm. The receptionist was really kind. They provide us complimentary breakfast, but i could not comment on their breakfast as we only stayed for half day only. The location was near to Kuah city and Kuah night market (on Wednesday night). The room a bit small, but it is comfortable enough for us as couple. They only provides basic necessity inside the room (towel, water bottle, Tv and kettle)

The rooms were very pleasant. We enjoyed our stay there. Air-conditioning was strong and although power was cut out to our room (only), the staff and manager was quick in resolving the issue. Owner most conversant in Mandarin (as he is Chinese) and can speak English as well. I'm not sure about his Melayu proficiency as I can't speak Melayu at all. Very friendly owner; came to Langkawi without much planning and he recommended many activities for us (with discounted rates for some) which helped us to fill our 4 days there. Room was very clean and I must say it doesn't feel like a two-star hotel! Extremely affordable and value for money. Basic eateries nearby (coffee-shop/hawker) style so you can easily settle lunch and dinner. It's a 5 minute walk away from a night market/pasar malam which happens every Wednesday. Not sure where to get breakfast because we skipped it. Downside is that it's very far from the Pantai Cenang area. We didn't have a driving license so we spent quite a fair bit on taxi fares. Near to the jetty so you get to return to the hotel first after island hopping tours or trip to Pulau Pasar! Overall I would really recommend this hotel if you're looking for an affordable stay!

The hotel is with huge room, especially suitable for family. The description in agoda is wrong, because all in the hotel is family "flat/apartmen", which two room will share a big living room and a bathroom. And the hotel manager will just close the other's room door if you are travel by one person(which mean you pay one room money but get nearly two room space), so there is no case to share bathroom with public person. The room have a balcony and have a little "sea view“， but it is very comfortable. The staff is very friendly, and you can get advice from them for your journey for langkawi. The hotel price is low, so you can save cost for your water sports in langkawi. However, beaware the location of hotel is not good(although it is near langkawi plaza, an old fashion "shopping centre”）， you have to take taxi for sightseeing in langkawi, so it is more suitable for a family or couple to stay here instead of solo traveller. Remember to take hotel breakfast as you can save your lunch cost.

Have not been to Langkawi and before booking with them, I called the hotel to make all sorts of enquiries and their staffs were so patient with me answering to their best knowledge, they were not in the hurry to cut me off. I got good advise from them and am very impressed with the way they treat prospective customers. Guided me with the booking and making sure our request were followed through. The manager took our feedback for future improvements very well. We had a good sharing session. They carry out their business with fairness and I extol them for being honest at sharing with us where to get a decent lunch or dinner and where to shop. I will come back and will definitely put forward my recommendations to my acquaintances.Cheers to the people who made us very welcomed!

we arrived in langkawi looking to enjoy some time on the beaches as well as spending time in the main city of kuah. azio hotel is centrally located in the city and is in very close proximity to the restaurants and shops. there is a night market not far from the hotel and i would highly reccomend anyone staying in langkawi to spend a day or two in the city. lots of cheap shopping

The Citin is in Kuah which probably isn't most people's first choice of location on Langkawi but we had a great time there. It cost RM26 from the airport by taxi. We stayed here for one night just before New Years. It's a cheap place but it was clean and the staff were nice. Room was kinda poky and didn't really get any direct sunlight but for one night it was fine. The toilet/shower combo was kind of annoying though. The hotel is with about 5 mins from a smallish mall with a supermarket and a shopping street (with a few restaurants)runs behind the hotel. We weren't there that long but it seems to be mostly locals in Kuah. It's opposite a fairly sizable mosque and like the early morning call to prayer. I thought it was a much better way to wake up than my phone alarm! It's also walking distance to the marina where you can get go island hopping from. Breakfast was pretty simple - roti, curry, noodles and rice - but it was good. Overall though, it was definitely value for money.

I came across this hotel when I was looking for accommodation nearby Langkawi Fair as I had a running event flag off there. The hotel is easier to spot as it's located facing main road. I was welcomed by the friendly staff. I really like my room as it's quiet and equipped with basic needs. I've read the review that there is no lift in this hotel. But this does not bother me much. They gave me the same room for my entire stay though I booked in separately. There are a lot eateries nearby at walking distance. Very convenient to get food and groceries. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. Highly recommended!

After 2 weeks in each of singapore bali& penang this is my favorite hotel Set in a real forest with plenty of entertaining wildlife we love it You do need transport but MR15 will get you to kuah in a taxi but a scooter is cheapest & best The owners & staff are excellent friendly people All in all a gem of a place which i,m sure we will return to & so pleased we found it!!

This hotel is located 15 minutes from the Langkawi airport and around 10 minutes drive to Kuah town. Renting a car would be a good choice since the attraction is scattered around and not located at the Kuah town. You don't have to worry about the noise from nearby surrounding because there is no other shoplot except for the food stall. There are several food stall nearby and I can guarantee you that you wouldn't be starving. They serve very simple breakfast just enough to fill your tummy before you can look for better Kopitiam. Overall, I am satisfied with my stay at MQ Hotel and will considering to stay here if I have other opportunity to visit Langkawi in future.

The location of this hotel is very good. 10mins by car from the kuah jetty. There are night markets on every wednesday and saturday night which is just 5 mins walk from the hotel. There are quite a handful of eateries and restaurants near the hotel. Among them, there's a vegetarian eating house. There are many duty free shops 5mins away, selling chocolates, souvenoir, cosmetics, cookware etc! The room is clean, bed is very comfy and the bathroom is also very nice. The staff there is also very helpful. They offered cheaper than normal car chauffer services and tour packages! Overall we had a great stay over this hotel. Will definitely go back next time!

Even a room is quite small and confine space to move around,but its comfortable as we are not stayed in room for 24 hours. For internet service,you should take action because we cant get the signal.Please work hard to fix it. And, maybe you should provide surau for a muslim because of the limited space in room to do prayer. For a better service. However,overall is good and chomelle hotel is recommeded for those who are want to travel in Langkawi.
