Our stay at the Bayview was great. The staff were courtesy, friendly and helpful, the location for our needs was perfect and the room was just what we needed after 3 months on a Thai tropical island in small a 2 star room. The hotel is a quick 10 Ringet taxi ride from the Kauh ferry terminal, and is walking distance to lots of duty free stores and local market restaurants. It is not a beach resort, but has a good swimming pool. The buffet breakfast had lots of Asian and Indian dishes, but still catered for western tastes with cerals, fruits, omelette, toast and coffee. The view from our 9th floor room was great and we felt relaxed by the pool, supplied with towels and deck chairs. We would definitely stay there again if we needed a hotel in Langkawi. The hotel is less than half an hour's taxi ride from the airport (RM28). It is a short distance away from from the Langkawi Parade Megamall that has a supermarket, food court, and Guardian, Marybrown and Waroeng Penyet. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The room was clean and spacious with a nice seaview (Deluxe room). Breakfast at the hotel has a wide variety. The roti canai and egg stations are located outdoors. Dinner at the hotel was also good and affordable. The half day mangrove tour we booked at the hotel (Naam Adventures) was quite good. The ladies' pool on level 2 was not crowded. Towels were provided when we went to the pool. However, we find it strange when the staff asked us to place our wet towels in a large 'bin' that contained mops, brooms and other rubbish.

Superb value for money. Enjoyed my 3 days stay here. Breakfast has huge variety, fresh fruits and live omlettes. Everything was well presented. Hotel staff is cooperative and they do their best to make you feel comfortable. Rooms are clean, bathroom clean, hot water readily available. Price is almost impossible to believe for all the services they are giving. Free parking on hotel premises! Hotel is located in Kuah and around 40 mins drive from airport. Better you rent a car for your long stay than use grab or even worse a taxi. Kuah has Langkawi Parade where you can get all the good fast food. 8 mins drive to KFC. Everything is within reach.

Pros: Accomodation - clean, spacious, new Breakfast - great breakfast spread, almost local food menu, tasty. I personally think that this is the only 3 stars hotel that offers such a big choices of food for breakfast Staff - warm, welcoming, so attentive Location - the shopping spots are around the corner. Restaurants and eateris are just in walking distance. Other tourist attractions like the Langkawi cable car, Mangrove cruise, Underwater world, Pantai Cenang etc are reachable if you rent a car/motorcycle during your stay in langkawi. Cons: nil

i booked this hotel as a last minute option due to the peak season on account on chinese new year. it is reasonably close to kuah jetty point and eagle square. there are many duty free shops close to this hotel. for travelers looking to buy liquor, there is a wholesale shop on the inner road going to bella vista, about 15 mins walk from grand continental. also, the parade mega mall is situation about 20 mins away, good place to buy t-shirts, shorts, liquor, chocolates at dirt cheap prices, incase you fall short to carry it to langkawi beaches.

My husband and I decided on St. Regis Langkawi, was the best choice, after sourcing a few other hotels. And boy, were we in for a treat. The staff were attentive and friendly. They were very welcoming. We got upgraded FOC as they knew we were on our anniversary. The decor was so immaculate and luxurious. If the facilities in St. Regis weren't enough, you can get a buggy ride to use the sister's hotel, Westin, facilities. The hotels are just next to each other. A butler was assigned to each of the suites, and should we require their services, they would attend to us. I've never felt so pampered. I wish I can come and stay in this little piece of heaven again in the future. (:

I stay at langkasuka hotel for 4d3n,what I can say is it was worth hotel to stay. I love the staff friendly as they help us a lot in guiding us choose the best attraction at Langkawi. I would love to stay here again. For me the location is suutable for me but having rental is a must if you want stay here, as the location quite far from airport,cenang beach,cable car.The grab service is easily to get here but if you are in bigger group its affordable. during my stay I didnt book for breakfast, but I have talked to other tourist they were satisfied with the breakfast prepared. This hotel just beside langkawi parade as you can find pharmacy,food,cloth,ATM etc easily. Yeah, the building decoration looks quite old and you need to walk quite far to go to your room, but other than that I was satisfied with the cleaniness and service.👍👍👍

This is the most clean and cozy hotel I stay at Langkawi so far. Surround is very quiet and suitable to those need a good rest without noisy disturbance after day activities. - WiFi available in the room - Breakfast included, simple but is acceptable - Bed is comfort & pillow soft comfort - Bathroom with power rain shower - Deposit MYR50 require when check in, reruns during check out - Ample parking space and pool available Overall pleasant stay and will come back stay again soon.

It was quite pleasant 2 nights' stay with Hotel Asia Langkawi, as late check-in in the afternoon, the rooms are well prepared, clean and with quiet surroundings. It's almost walking distance to the nearest park, and around 20 mins walk to the Eagle Square. Staffs are friendly, very helpful when anytime you need to call for a taxi. And by taxi, only 5 mins to the Langkawi Parade Megamall, which is good place for buying some souvenirs. However without breakfast supply, and you have to walk across the street for food, while you cannot find a zebra crossing on that road and make this a little bit dangerous for the kid and the old to crossing the road. Anyway, the hotel is all good and worth the money!

The rooms are spacious, complete with the kitchen, dining table and living room for u to watch tv, spend time with family. The location for the hotel is very near to the town, and is located behind Langkawi Parade. Everything is a few pebbles away. The housekeeping is done everyday in the morning and u can have ur breakfast (if it does not charged together), it is good for u to try and eat a stall near to jeti at pekan rabu kuah. Overall, the hotel is awesome! Only that u need to bring ur own water and best if u can provide a kettle for a proper hot water to drink compared to coway. Anyways it was worthy and very cheap for a family room apartment style. Thank u!

Have not been to Langkawi and before booking with them, I called the hotel to make all sorts of enquiries and their staffs were so patient with me answering to their best knowledge, they were not in the hurry to cut me off. I got good advise from them and am very impressed with the way they treat prospective customers. Guided me with the booking and making sure our request were followed through. The manager took our feedback for future improvements very well. We had a good sharing session. They carry out their business with fairness and I extol them for being honest at sharing with us where to get a decent lunch or dinner and where to shop. I will come back and will definitely put forward my recommendations to my acquaintances.Cheers to the people who made us very welcomed!

I and my Family really enjoyed our stay! We felt relaxed with the clean rooms and surroundings, the approachable and accomodating staffs. The staffs even extended our stay to more than 1 hour as my children are still enjoying visits to beautiful sceneries of Langkawi. Every good descriptive words applicable to this hotel, thus, to the management and staffs, thank you so much!

the hotel is one of the best i stayed in during my trip to langkawi. located in the kuah town it will be the most convenient place for those who are coming to langkawi by ferry (taxi is 10 rm from jetty terminal to the hotel, walking distance 25 mins). the hotel is quite new (dec 2011), very clean for the price paid. 2 minuses are the very slow wi-fi and not the best night staff at the reception desk.

I came across this hotel when I was looking for accommodation nearby Langkawi Fair as I had a running event flag off there. The hotel is easier to spot as it's located facing main road. I was welcomed by the friendly staff. I really like my room as it's quiet and equipped with basic needs. I've read the review that there is no lift in this hotel. But this does not bother me much. They gave me the same room for my entire stay though I booked in separately. There are a lot eateries nearby at walking distance. Very convenient to get food and groceries. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. Highly recommended!

After 2 weeks in each of singapore bali& penang this is my favorite hotel Set in a real forest with plenty of entertaining wildlife we love it You do need transport but MR15 will get you to kuah in a taxi but a scooter is cheapest & best The owners & staff are excellent friendly people All in all a gem of a place which i,m sure we will return to & so pleased we found it!!

Hotel staff is friendly and provided useful information on tourism spot around the Langkawi island. The hotel also provide tour package to a few main attraction in Langkawi. Since we made the booking thru Agoda and customer contact is not share with the hotel staff, hence they are not able to contact the customer to offer their tour package which i find it more cheaper and reasonable if compare to other local tour company.

Even a room is quite small and confine space to move around,but its comfortable as we are not stayed in room for 24 hours. For internet service,you should take action because we cant get the signal.Please work hard to fix it. And, maybe you should provide surau for a muslim because of the limited space in room to do prayer. For a better service. However,overall is good and chomelle hotel is recommeded for those who are want to travel in Langkawi.
