I got a queen room (meant for 2) but it's definitely more for a single person as there isn't much space for 2 luggages / clothes if you're intending to stay more than a weekend. The location is amazing, 15 mins - 20 mins walk to Orchard (if you can't be bothered with transport), great food across the road at Fortune Centre and also on Waterloo St hawker centre. I was working from the hotel room, wifi was great. I was given a room on the top floor which had a great view and was also really quiet. Close to the art schools which have markets occasionally and for anyone working in the CBD, it's only 15 mins by train away. Would definitely come back here the next time.

My wife, my mid-twenties daughter and I stayed at Hotel Mi for four nights last week from Nov 12 thru 16, 2017. All things considered, we enjoyed our stay there. It started with the nice and easy trip from the airport to the Bencoolen MRT exit which is on the same side of the street and only 1 minute walk away from it. As soon as you enter the elevator of this new hotel, everything is automated with state-of-the- art ICT. We did not find time to try their on-loan Handy smart phone, the availability of which started on our last night , though, as we were too busy with something else we needed to attend to. The downsides are : 1. the ac control built-in on the wall is not user-friendly. In other words, it is easier to use the remote control of a wall-mounted ac , 2. the check-out time of 11:00 am is 1 hr earlier than any other hotel I have stayed in 7 other different countries. When checking out, we needed to appeal to them for an hour extension which they granted, though , and 3. t

Strand is an affordable alternative hotel right smack in the middle of the city. If you're into history and the arts the SAM is right around the corner and the National museum two blocks away from the hotel. Walking around the city will take most of your time because of the amazing architecture of the area. Restaurants will also beckon you to come in and have a taste of their cuisine. In the having a nice place to rest your head would be something you'll be looking for at the of the day. Strand presents that alternative for travelers who want to explore.

I was pleasantly surprised that despite the room being very small it was comfortable enough for a single traveler. This is not a hotel that you want to take a large suitcase to though as there is nowhere to put it. Fortunately I only had a small case and backpack. It really is very basic, but if you want basic for a reasonable fee then this place is fine, great for younger travelers or those on a tight budget. It is smack bang in the middle of the Arts district and only 15 minutes to Bugis Junction so good for bargain shoppers too. No frills, good value.

Booked a King bedroom for 2 nights and absolutely enjoyed the stay. Room is spacious and clean, and comes with great view of the hotel's vicinity. Love that the material used for the design of the hotel corridors and room is mainly wood, which gives off a very comfortable feeling. Hotel lobby is located at level 25, and while the desk counters are not very prominent, the staff are very efficient and helpful in providing any assistance. Breakfast spread is tasty, and the gym is well equipped too! Superb location that is linked to Bugis MRT and shopping malls as well. Overall one of the best staycations I've ever had in Singapore. Will definitely come back again!

Staycation at the hotel, loft queen bed. Room are clean, comfortable, quiet but you can hear passerby talking while you are showering. Upon entering hotel room, left side will be shower area and toilet (they are rather small in size), right side will be basin, towels and some amenities. Walk further in will be a sofa bed, working desk with 'Handy" phone as well as TV with cable channels. Bottom left to TV, there is a mini fridge equipped with some drinks and snacks(chargeable). Walk up the stairs and there's the bed along with another TV with cable channels too. The art works on the wall are amazing too. Most of the power plugs are at the first level, and there's only one USB port on the second floor available to use. Unless you dont need the alarm clock, you can make use of the power plug. There's a huge variety of cable channels however they are not labeled or named upon selecting. Location is awesome, near to MRT station and shopping malls. There are a lot of F&B outlets, shopping and entertainments around. Overall, it is a super cozy and comfortable hotel room, highly recommended to stay.

Perfect location! The hotel is just a few steps away from Bencoolen and Bras Basah MRT stations, 7-11, money changer and food republic. Bus and taxi stop is just right in front of the hotel. It is about 5-10-minute walk from Bugis Street, Catholic Church, Art Museum, Orchard Road. I did not avail of their buffet breakfast because we prefer to eat at Food Republic which offers more food selections. As to toiletries, they only provide soap, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. So better bring other necessary items such as lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers, etc. Overall, the hotel is new, room is clean, staff is very courteous, location is perfect. Highly recommended!!!

Destination Hotel right near Singapore stadium is a one of a kind modern yet budget friendly hotel ideal for those looking 3 to 4 star hotels. It is 10 mins walk to nicoll highway and has 1 bus stop that goes to Marina bay front. There is a big hawker center across the bridge and one 7-eleven. There are lots of Thai restaurants and even a market. Singapore stadium is just behind the hotel. The rooftop pool has view of city skyline although its not heated. The breakfast buffet is mainly western with a very few asian choices. There is no gym. The room is consistenly supplied with bottled water daily. I love the Rainfall shower in the toilet. The TV channel selections are quite few. The bed and pillows are nice and comfortable. There is an international outlet located in the room. The staff are very friendly. Overall my experience with this hotel is amazing despite near the city center it is very quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

hotel grand pacific is conveniently located in the "art" district and within walking distance of the bugis mrt (direct to airport). nearby are sam, national museum, philatelic museum, and even the asian civilizations museum (a bit of a hike). directly across the street is a hawkers-type food court if you don't want to eat at the hotel's fish restaurant or cafe. their small pool in a lovely garden setting on 2 levels can accommodate 2 - 3 lap swimmers. we had no hassles with a noon check-in. our room had heavy wood carved furniture including a cabinet for the refrigerator instead of the modern furniture depicted online. i’d stay at this hotel again due to the location and charming pool.

Satisfied with our experience in this hotel and will definitely book again should we visit SG in the future. * We are a family of 5 and the deluxe connecting room is just perfect for us. It has 1 queen bed and 2 single bed and 2 comfort rooms. * Location is convenient for commuters since it is about a 10 min walk to Rochor Train Station. The taxi stop is just in front of the hotel while the bus stop is just across the street. *Check in counter took us quite a while but check out was less than a minute. *The hotel is across 7-11 and very near Burger King and Toast Box. It is also near Broadway Foodcourt if you are craving for some local cuisines. * Our room is always clean. There is just some "molds" in the door of the refrigerator in room 704 but minor issue compared to the cleanliness of the entire room. * Appreciate the compli food which they refill everyday. It would it be better if they change the variants or make it a local snack instead.

This is not a 5* hotel so one should not compare. I had a great stay as always. The receptionists may not smile much, but they are friendly n check-in is a breeze! The standard rooms are not very small or cramp, in fact, is a reasonable size. They provide almost all the basic necessities, except for toothbrush & toothpaste n a mini bar/fridge - Standard room. But the rates are worth it despite its an old hotel. But the location is excellent. A walk to the nearest MRT is only less than 5mins! I have stayed her quite a few times, which i enjoyed staying; more than my current place (having to squeez in a roon with my sister). Not forgetting there is also a food court just behind the hotel n it take a mere 3-min walk! Will be back again n its 1 of my fav 3 star hotel to rest n chill with lotsa privacy. Take note: The aircon temp can be really cold - Which is good! Those who are afraid of the cold, remember to have ur jacket ready. Late check-out i got was only til 12.30pm, never once had 1 or 2pm check-out - Could be due to high occupancy. No room service but lotsa eateries around, so no complains. There's also drink vending machines and free ice machine located on certain floors. - Thumb up!

strategically located along Beach Road corner Tan Quee Lan St., the hotel is a perfect jump off point to other must-go to places in Singapore, or if you like, to Kuala Lumpur (the bus ticket stations are at the end of Beach Road). My wife and I had no clue what a great location this was when we booked the hotel. To our fascination, we discovered that the entire block where the hotel -- apparently a new one -- was surrounded mostly by colonial shop houses occupied by dozens of restaurants. There's Indonesian, Korean, even Filipino food. But it was the Singaporean fare that we were after, and despite having only stayed for two nights, we had our fill of Singaporean chicken, duck and meat dishes, plus the classic milk tea. (There were steamboat dishes, but we skipped them, since the shops were always full.) A couple of blocks away is the bustling Bugis District, which offers more food some and some serious dry market shopping (but we skipped the shopping part, as well). Other famous Singapore destinations such as Little India and Orchard Road were easily accessible, but this is also because of the City State's ultra-efficient transport system. In all our stay at the hotel was a memorable one, since there were just minor hitches (such as the staff could have expressed more enthusiasm in entertaining questions), or that having the sign "Marrison Hotel" on the Beach Road side of the building would help much in helping travelers on foot locate the building (the sign is on the Tan Qee Lan side).

I visited Singapore to attend a Faculty Seminar at the National University of Singapore & used the spare time touring. The nearest Bras Basah MRT station is just a 1-2 minute walk from the hotel and the next Dhoby Ghaut MRT interchange is only 1 station away which conveniently allows transfer to all 3 MRT lines. Eateries among others such as American fastfood Wendy's and Kopitiam offering a wide variety of Asian and Western food are just within the hotel vicinity. Since the hotel is situated in the heart of the Singapore business and shopping district, places of interest are also near such as the Singapore Museum, Orchard Center, Raffles Place, Esplanade, Merlion, etc. The hotel room may be small but not tightly contained. The room is reasonably designed and conducive, with adequate in-room amenities such as lcd TV, open wardrobe cabinet, hair dryer, electric water pot, refrigerator, landline telephone, electronic alarm clock, & bed side control of the lights and aircon. Hotel safety and security is adequate with the issuance of an access card that serves as an elevator pass & door room key with the provision of an electronic safebox inside the room. Everyday room service kept the room and bathroom always clean and orderly. Bathroom hot water is available and water pressure is excellent. There are few TV channels with the lack of popular cable channels such as HBO, CNN, etc; whereas there are limited good English programs. Had a comfortable sleep in bed and a pleasant stay in this hotel with a good and clear window view of Bencoolen Street & would definitely book here again. -Professor LEE MARK

Well, Actually i never planned to choose this hotel while on Singapore. but it turns out to be one of the best things that happen on my trip. Location : very near from bugis location, surrounded by a very interesting street such as Arab Street and the most instragramable street on SG , Haji Lane. for moslem i highly reccomended this place coz you cant found a lot of tasty and halal food around, with a view of the biggest mosque in SG. Cleanliness : Room is very compact as i can tell, very comfort with a new interior there. Staff: Well they are exceptional. very kind and broad smile on their face. never bother us and always provide everything that we need . Facilities : Room is very modern. they provide us a phone that allowed us to make a call or browsing. and the best thing is they rent it for free and we can use it outside the hotel. they provide a still and sparkling water near the receptionist which is very good deal cos a bottle of water can cost you 1 dollar there. Overall, i am very satisfied on my first visit on nuve hotel. i will go back for sure. and i very recommend this place for a solo or couple traveler, who want to save money but not feeling ease to living on hostel. this is 3 star hotel that feels like a 4 star hotel. Conclusion : Highly Recommended !

Staying at Citadines Mount Sophia is better than staying in an ordinary Hotel. You have so much space and all the comforts of home. The comfortable couch was very welcome. We were on the top floor and it was very quiet. The staff were great and even organised a big fan for me to use instead of air conditioning because I wasn't well and needed a break from air conditioning. The location is excellent. There is a food court right opposite and small supermarkets close by. Everything you need is there. We had a Studio and they were kind enough to put our friends right next door who also had a Studio and were very impressed with our choice to try Citadines instead of the usual Hotels we usually stay in while in Singapore. We all love Singapore!! We stayed for 3 nights and organised to keep one of the rooms and paid for a late checkout on our last day because we had a night flight home to Australia. Well done Citadines.

We booked this hotel as we were attending an Expo at the Suntec Centre for four days. This hotel was within walking distance so it was conveniently located. It was one of the least expensive options however it was probably the best budget hotel I have stayed in Singapore. It is 100% better than last years (more expensive choice) only 100 further away. The room is what you expect from Singapore, small, however it was clean, comfortable with good internet and will be booking this hotel again for next years expo. If you are aware that you are getting a budget hotel then this will not disappoint. Good job guys.

My first visit to Singapore and so did not know this hotel or any other, was very happy to stay here and would stay here again, most of my normal travel is in the middle east and in 4 and 5 star hotels, this hotel does not have the extra trappings (or charges) of a 5 star, but apart from that it could be a 5 star. The staff are all lovely and would like to mention Christie / Kirsty ( I was given two versions of her name) who works on reception - always a "good morning" to begin the day, and a few words of welcome in the evening, plus offers of umbrellas if it was raining. A lovely person, and very professional. I also appreciated Mr Hata Amin the GM sitting down with me and asking me about my stay and if there were any things that might be improved, I couldn't think of anything. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were very good and the choice of local or western food is a good idea, this was a nine night stay, though I did also eat out of the hotel some evenings Finally the hotel is very reasonably priced for Singapore, so, taking it all together this is my choice of hotel if I get to visit the place again, thank you to all at the Hotel Clover and I hope I get to visit you again.

HI, I had be staying in hotel Royal @ Queen a lot of time. From the moment you check in until you check out the service of the hotel is the best. They really there to help you and providing the best information to your question. The breakfast is nice too. Only 1 thing which during my very first time staying in this hotel's feedback to the hotel and until at this lastest stay ( 18 Jan 2016 ) that the hotel still never improve is having stay in this 4 star hotel they can't even provide 2 free mineral water to the room guests. The hotel must ALWAYS remember is small little refreshment will impact a great image of the hotel and happy of the guest whom travel 10 over hrs of flight to here ( singapore )which you can get 3 bottle NTUC mineral only cost 95 cents. A bit of cost but can bring back a lot guests to the hotel. please look into my suggestion. thank hope to see some changes when I am back to this hotel again,

Had the most relaxing and comfortable stay at the Intercon. The staff were all fantastic..Especially Michael, at check -in and Desmond and Peter. The rooms ( we upgraded to a suite on the 14th floor which had complimentary access to the Club Continental lounge) were super comfortable. Our college going daughter, stayed with us most nights and the fold out complimentary bed in the living room was extremely comfortable. The Club Lounge facilities are worth the extra money you pay..the food is par excellence and so is the service! The location is the best part of the hotel connected to Bugis Junction, it offers everything from shopping to eating ( every kind of cuisine) to entertainment ( the Cineplex is located on the top floor of Bugis Mall) This was one of the best stays we've had in Singapore and we are very regular visitors to the city and have stayed in many hotels and serviced apartments. Would give the Intercontinental 5 out of 5 stars!

Well, when booked this hotel I actually didn't realize there are two Bencoolens there: the hotel and a "serviced apartments" which I luckily booked. We got a 2-bedroom (plus living room) apartment, with complete kitchen and two bathrooms. The apt is little bit shubbed and some ceiling paint would help, but all the rest is very good: spacious, clean, comfortable. The kind-of-buffet breakfast is very basic, but if you are not too spoiled you will not leave hungry. The real advantages are: very good location (the taxi stand in front of the hotel, MRT station is less than 1 min walking, main attractions are in 10-15 min waling distance), the pool (including jaccuzi and toddler's pool) and kids playground on a top of the 12th floor, nice patio on the 5th floor. My conclusion : very good accommodation for budget famiky travelers!

We requested for an early check in as we book the hotel over Agoda webpage. Nevertheless, we hit into the hotel early (about 11am) and just to try our luck if the room is ready. To our surprise, the hotel had actually take our request into consideration and there is a room ready for us despite us arriving earlier than usual check-in time. This shows how they take care of their client although it is not really a fancy 5 star hotel. The hotel is located approximately 750m from the Bugis MRT station. All along the way from Bugis MRT to the hotel, there are lots of Arabic concept shops, which is a total new experience too ( try their murtabak, its really worth for the price of $GD6.50!!). The breakfast in hotel is not that fancy, however it is sufficient for those who would love to continue your day for food adventure, the simple yet satisfying breakfast has just done its role perfectly. There is a swimming pool in level 4, a small yet decent one. There is also a few chairs by the pool side where you can hang out with your friends. Remember to bring your swimsuit along (oh yeah.. there is also a baby pool provided. )

Parc Sovereign is located about 5 minutes from the Little India MRT station (via exit A) and about 10 minutes from the busy Bugis area. Nearby attractions include the electronics store landmark Sim Lim Square and the Lasalle College of the Arts. Getting there was a bit of a challenge because the area is not well known (Lasalle College and Golden Wall Centre are the nearest landmarks). The humid weather made the walk to either Bugis and Little India MRT stations somewhat unbearable. Once inside, the staff are a mixed bunch. Surprisingly, the bellboy just watched while I was struggling to take my luggage out of the taxi, something that I've never seen in other hotels in Singapore. The front desk staff were friendly but simple requests (like a bottle opener) were hard for them to fill. The room itself was big for hotels of this price range, with very comfortable pillows and beds. There are many power outlets for your gadgets. I particularly like that the safe was big enough to store a laptop (not that robberies are common in Singapore but it does give one peace of mind) The bathroom was also big. I like the pool on the 3rd floor, which, at 1.2 meters deep , was just right for lazing and doing laps. On the down side, * the hotel does not have an in-house restaurant (they said that it was under renovation) * the WiFi connection kept asking users to key in the password every time the gadget went into lock mode (in the case of my phone, it meant if I was idle for 5 minutes). Depending on your package, WiFi was also chargeable ($10/day). In other hotels, this is usually free. * the shower glass panel was too narrow to prevent splashes , creating a messy bathroom every time one showers.

We booked the hotel for our 4-day trip in Singapore. It was very easy to find. We took the train from the airport and did not encounter any concerns finding the hotel. The signage outside the building was exactly as it was shown in Agoda. When we arrived, we found it easy to find out what to do since directions were indicated on the first floor of the building. Guests can rely on the green signage outside plus there's a sticker that says "85" on the glass door. We took the lift to the 2nd floor and when we showed the booking print-out from Agoda, we were checked-in rather quickly. Our room was on the 6th floor, so we were instructed to pass through the 2nd floor all-the-time on the way up since an access card from the staff is needed to go up. Location is superb being very close to Suntec City and Bugis. There's also a ton of food places within a 3 to 5 minute walk from the hotel. Staff was always ready to help. Bed was just the right size for two people, though we wished they provided two single blankets instead of one big sheet. We also didn't ask to change it, so we made do with what was provided. We can sometimes hear sounds (either voices of people speaking from other rooms or sounds coming from the pipes, maybe for their toilets & water system). TV standby blue light was impossible to turn off, so we had to find a way to cover it. The cleaning lady was superb, she was so nice and even reminded us that she hasn't given us our complimentary bottled water. It's a good place, considering the price, for a place to sleep and take a bath.

There is a Queen bed, AC, Water heater plus shower, Water closed, TV Cable. 4. Lift 5. Near Kampong Glam & Masjid Sultan & Masjid Malabar 6. Near Halal Foodstall (Nasi Padang, etc.) 7. Near Bus shelter 9. Near Bugis MRT station about 700m & Lavender MRT station about 600m 10. Pleasant and helpfull Staff 11. There is a tree in front of hotel (our room), so we could hearing bird twitter in the morning, always. 12. Azan (Athan) is clearly heard from Masjid Sultan, so we never left behind jamaah shalat. CONS: 1. TV Cable just a few channel, about 6 or 7 channel, no children channel 2. No Water Closed sprayer ------------- We will stay again in this hotel if went to Singapore.

Great hotel and wonderful friendly staff. We have met some trouble few days before our traveling period. However, the hotel staff try all their best to help us and provide the best service to us. Me and my friend came from 2 different countries, and only my friend will be arriving at the hotel, and she only can speak a little bit English only, however, when I write an email to the hotel, their efficiency on replying email and also arrangement to help my friend who came from Japan is just fantastic and appreciated. Never-ever thought that we have booked a very nice hotel and great staff. Hotel location just nice, friendly and helpful staff is the best, cleanliness of the hotel perfect. I asked my friend how's she going to rate the hotel for overall, without thinking, she replied me 10/10! Great hotel ever. And will return back to the hotel again. Last but not least, thank you very much to the hotel staff and also manager. We definitely will go back to stay with you again and introduce to everyone. TQ~

I wasn't expecting too much when I booked a room for me and my mom as I was only after the location of the hotel since I read from the other reviews that it's practically just a stroll away from most of the places we were planning to visit. When we arrived, I was pleasantly surprised since the room is bigger compared to the usual 3 star hotels around the Bugis area. Although customer service of the staff is average which is normal in Singapore, I did enjoy the convenience plus I also love the view from our room. Despite the fact that we were just at the 3rd floor, we didn't hear any noise coming from the road. It was also great that we had so many options when it comes to food and places to go to. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

Me and my friend was in Singapore attending a conference and stayed at Zen Rooms Mackenzie for 5 nights. Our Standard Double Room was quite small but good space and clean as well as comfortable enough for 2 adults. The staffs were ever so helpful and friendly regardless of the time they were approached at. The best point is the location whereby it is situated almost like next to the MRT station Little India, the place is visible as you exited the station via Mackenzie Road exit, with very short distance walking to reach the entrance of the hotel. As a Muslim traveler, I was very pleased to find two Halal certified restaurants just beside the hotel, serving local delicacies as well as kopitiam style food. There is also 7 eleven, within very short distance walking as well. All in all, me and my friend had a really good stay at Zen Rooms Mackenzie, stress and hassle free, definitely recommend this hotel for others and would stay here again if I'm ever back in Singapore.

Booked the photographer suite. Good for 4 adults. Photos of the room were accurate and we were pleasantly surprised that everything in the mini bar was free - included 2 bottles of tiger beer and a bottle opener already available in the room (yes, I’ve stayed at hotels in Singapore where the hotel claims not to have any bottle openers). Staff were friendly and willing to help. Breakfast was adequate and tasted good. Lobby of the hotel was at the back of the restaurant. Felt a little weird as we had to bring our bags past tables with people having their meal. Great location, with lots of other eateries around. City hall MRT was a 10 min walk away, convenience store 5 min.

I think you can't better hotel in Singapore at this price. Elegant and practical design for their relative spacious room (I like the shower room especially), quite at night, some cheap spa nearby, a nice indian restaurant open till late, etc. Of course it's not in the best area but considering the size of Singapore, it's still a better to spend a little more on taxi but much less on hotel. Staff are efficient and helpful, no complaint, but on my departure date there was some sort of video shooting in lobby, I was not informed so when I walked out of elevator the crew were staring right at me like I walked into a wrong place (it's c/o time what did I suppose to do ...) finally they allowed me out of the elevator to finish my c/o, but I had to drag myself and luggage out to wait for my taxi on the street because the lobby was still occupied ... By the way, want to thank the reception in their sister hotel at Sultan Street, she helped me to find the right hotel while taxi dropped me at the wrong place when I arrived.
