Just as the name suggests the location close to Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides and Ecole militaire as well as two metro stations within a five minute walk, let alone one of the best street markets in Paris, this hotel is well located. Staff are welcoming, caring and likeable. Rooms, especially bathrooms are very good, breakfasts excellent. Lift to all floors is spacious. What have I missed? I would stay there any time I am in Paris.

We absolutely LOVED the Hotel La Comtesse and can’t wait to come back. Daniel and the entire staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home. The location is amazing and the rooms all have wonderful views. We enjoyed being waking distance to the Eiffel Tower, metro, army museum, and tons of restaurants. The hotels place is ideal for walking tours in Paris. near the Mars Field and the Tower. The hotel crew is super friendly. I just wrote a message that we will come with my wife for romantic weekend and asked a Tower view room. We booked a regular room without the view but the hotel administration was so kind so they upgraded us 1 level up and gave us the room with astonishing view. Want to thank Agoda for the best in town price offer and hotel for it kindness and hospitality.

Pros- Best location, 10 min walk from Eiffel Tower and some amazing restaurants, minutes away from the bus stop and train station, the staff was just so a wonderful and made you feel welcome, rooms were spotless and amazingly clean, the body wash and lotion provided was the best I have ever used (the wonderful lady at the reception even gave me a few as a gift which was so sweet of her), kettle provided in the room to make your own tea, radio is the room to listen to music which was the best, iron and hairdryer provided. This was the only place out of all the hotels we stayed in Italy, Greece etc that ticked all the boxes of essential items provided. They even stored our luggage for half a day and called a cab for us to the airport. Highly recommend this hotel to all! Cons- The taxi called by the hotel charged us an extra €7 to the airport as the flat rate is €50-€55. All in all we loved this hotel and would definitely stay again on our next visit.

We stayed in this hotel a few years ago and it was wonderful, but not very spacious and a little bit cramped. For example, the lift was extremely small (even by Paris standards) and could only hold a couple strategically placed suitcases while you took the circular stairs up to your room. They have since renovated and the hotel has kept all of its modern charm while giving the little changes it needed to make it feel its 4 stars - it is truly EXCELLENT. The reception area breathes more with the open plan format, and the elevator is now bigger and moved behind the staircase. The rooms are largely unchanged, keeping their high level of comfort, cleanliness, tasteful decor and appeal. The staff are polite and friendly, and the hotel's location could not be more central, with the Invalides, the Tour Eiffel, the banks of the Seine, the beautiful antique stores and shops of rue de l'universite/rue du bac/Saint Germain a stone's throw away. It doesn't hurt that Maison Pradier with its lovely

Absolutely blew me away the location is spot on, never been to Paris before and this hotel was on the street right next to the Eiffel tower. We were lucky enough to have a room with a balcony and a view of it! Room was small but you don't go to Paris to stay in the room, and we spent most our time on the balcony gazing at the Eiffel tower. The staff our so nice and helpful, we rang for ice and it arrived in 2minutes. They are so helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to paris, so clean aswel, bathroom was lovely, and Hermes toiletries are a lovely Parisian touch. Tres Bon!!

AWESOME. Maurizio and Theo at the front desk were extremely helpful and accomodating especially that we brought with us our baby stroller and car seat and they took care of storing them safely. The behind the scene crew was very kind making sure there is always hot water for the tea, cold water and beverages in the fridge and a small assortment of fresh munchies for everyone to eat, free of charge. Great hotel for a great value.

We really liked this hotel. It was a short walk to the Louvre and and other attractions, the staff was great and always available, the room was bigger than I expected and well appointed. The only issue we had was that it was really hot in Paris while we were there and the room was hot most of the time because there was no air conditioning (which is common in Europe). There was a fan, but it didn't help much. I wish they had some sort portable air conditioner or bigger fan available. I would still recommend this hotel though.

Clean, elegant small hotel on the western edge of the wonderful St Germain district. Close to metro, shops and restaurants, and a 10-20 minute walk from major sights. This hotel is flanked by a bakery on one side, a famous chocolatier on the other, and is two blocks from historic (and touristy) cafes Flore and Les Deux Magots. Front desk staff all spoke English and French and were polite, kind and professional. Good working elevator; also a luggage storage room. The hotel contains an adorable, chic breakfast room, but it was pricey for us, so we got breakfasts at the nearby bakery or cafes. We requested and received a quiet room. It was very nice. A bit small (typical for Paris), and very nice. Super modern bathroom with great bath and shower. Tiny balcony looking at buildings (not awful) on back street. Lovely bed with tiny chandelier light sconces. Two tiny closets with a shelf and mini fridge. One small desk. Overall, a great place!

We were offered an upgrade for a small fee as there was a no-show. We took the offer so the value for money for us was excellent. The room we had originally booked was too small and cramped but atmospheric. The upgrade was definitely worth it. The beds were comfortable, the shower/bath had good pressure and the hotel was in a perfect central location to get the best of Paris in the summer. The staff were accommodating and helpful. We would definitely come back and recommend this hotel. We didn't have any meals here so cannot comment.

We spent 3 nights in a tiny room in this hotel (although most rooms in 2 and 3-star hotels in Paris are on the rather small side). To our delight, we had a small balcony with a side view of the beautiful dome of Les Invalides. Although the hotel does not appear to be very modern, it thankfully has an elevator and the rooms have flat-screen tvs. Whenever you leave the hotel, the key must be surrendered at the reception. Location-wise, the nearest metro (Ecole Militaire) is only a few minutes away by foot and many good cafés and bistros dot the area. We appreciated the free wifi, the kind staff and the breakfast consisting of toast, different spreads, yoghurt, fruit, cheeses, cold cuts, and eggs, but the eggs had to be prepared yourself, either boiled or fried in the pan provided.

An absolutely wonderful hotel hidden on a side street of Paris. Just what I was looking for: personal, quaint, friendly, helpful staff, wonderful food and wines with the added service of a massage. The hotel is located within walking distance of the Louvre which I was looking for. It is located within a wonderful neighborhood of small shops, cafes and delis. So much more personal than a large hotel. Thank you, Le Saint, for such a marvelous stay.

stayed for 2 nights in the middle of june. we had an over all lovely stay. the hotel has a very fresh 'feel' and the staff was very polite and had an excellent english. rooms was very well planned and the bathrooms where well above average. did not sample the breakfast or the bar so can't comment but it looked good. don't have that much to compare with but feels like a good value hotel. best thing with the hotel is the location. near everything ( including a subway station). we could absolutly return the next time we are in paris

our stay was really great. the location was close to eiffel and it has a convenient store just around the corner to buy food and stuff that was not that expensive more like a mini supermarket. the staff was really great and he allowed us to leave our things below since our train going to luxembourg is 4pm so we left our things 1st then we an still have small time to enjoy paris and look around the eiffel tower. i would totally recommend this hotel with my friends and family. if i ever coming back here in paris i will totally staying here again for sure.

Hotel du Palais Bourbon is in a great location right by the Musee Rodin and very close to Musee D'Orsay and Eiffel Tower. The family rooms are a clever set up, one main room with a side small room with 2 single beds. We used this for a group stay so that people can sleep undisturbed in the small room while the main room was used for the "awake" room and that worked well.

Nice small hotel in an attractive building in a pretty street in St Germain de Pres. The room was comfortable but small. A five-minute walk to a metro station. Several small good restaurants nearby and an excellent bakery for breakfast. I have stayed here every November during my annual business trip to Paris. On this trip I found that the water in my room was not really hot - it was only warm and with the temperature outside below 5° I would expect hot water. I must clarify that I never had this problem in previous years staying at this hotel. My room this time was on the 6th floor at the very top of the hotel and if that was the problem then I would recommend staying on lower floors. However the most serious problem for me with this 2013 stay at the Hotel de Suede is that they have now changed their wireless Internet provider and the new provider does not allow sending and receiving of emails through POP3 and SMTP. This means that guests using Outlook (or any other email client) cannot send or receive emails while staying at this hotel. (If you only use webmail then that would not be a problem). As I was on a business trip, this was a serious inconvenience. For this reason alone, I will be unable to use this hotel again. There is a very good, small, inexpensive restaurant at the nearest intersection called "Au Pied de Fouet". The restaurant is quite famous and sometimes you may need to wait outside for a table.

hotel thoumieux was absolutely perfect for our 24 hour christmas stay in paris. central location with everything on your doorstep and a glimpse of the eiffel tower poking over the roof tops at the end of the road, twinkling like a giant christmas tree - magical! the room, although compact, was equipped to a very high standard and decorated brilliantly. the towels were fluffy and the bedding soft, clean and extremely cosy. the ipad in the bedroom was an added unexpected touch too and very useful for listening to some michael buble christmas classics on christmas eve! we will definitely be staying again and would highly recommend... very happy customers!

I travelled with my 8 year old niece for a trip to Disney along with a few sight seeing days. This was the perfect little hotel. Very clean. Up to date. Everyone was so nice. Especially Lina??(daytime front desk).. I can’t recall if that was her name but she was absolutely amazing. I was having a personal issue and she saw me crying and told me I needed a hug. Gave me water and comforted me. I was nervous because I spoke no French. Each day someone helped me get around and how to correctly use some basic French. The rooms in Paris from each review I saw were small. So I had my expectation for the same. By American standards it’s a bedroom. But was a perfect room for myself and my niece, very modern. A mini bar. Plus you’re really there for Paris!! It’s the perfect location. We walked to the Eiffel Tower everyday (15min). The bakery next door has the best croissant!! Definitely have to come back to really enjoy an adult vacation here. Easy access to metro to get to Disney as well.

I like best the hotel service and its location. The hotel attendants are well-trained and serve with professionalism. The hotel room is clean, except for the water heater which does not provide constant hot water supply throughout the shower (not sure it its only for the room I stayed in). The elevator is small but this is not something that matters much. Access to food is not a problem and proximity to Eiffel Tower is definitely another plus-point.

Pros: Could not want a better location. Not in a busy street but still walking distance to the Lourve, Champs-Élysées and Eiffel Tower along the Seine river. Can see all the planes flying overhead on Bastille day and walk to many venues to watch the fireworks. The staff especially the concierge were exceptional. Responding to every request. Cons: If you've stayed in a few hotels you are more likely to rate this as a very nice 3 or 4 star hotel. The hotel does not have the "wow" factor or quality of a standard 5 star hotel especially compared to Asian counterparts. Overall: a clean, comfortable stay, great location but don't expect to be "blown away" by the room.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! My best friend and I were staying for a few days, her first time but my 4th. The staff was incredibly kind upon our arrival which was early morning they let us use the lobby and public washroom to freshen up- then while we were out moved our bags up to our room so we came home sleepy with all our stuff ready which was nice. The next day, we were out all day but wanted to go for a lovely French dinner, the consierge (who’s name I didn’t get but was lovely and our main man while we were there) helped us make reservations. The room was clean- the room was well appointed by Paris standards the bed and pillows were comfy! Really I would recommend this hotel in a heart beat- it’s centrally located, near some really cute dreamy local streets- truly amazing. Thank you!

Metro station is situated next to the hotel entrance for easy access to all points of the city. Quick and easy check-in process. We had a street view from our room so it was nice to have a small balcony that we could open the doors up to let the Parisian breeze in and to see the top of the Effiel tower light up at night. The layout of the room was admirable, great photo op opportunities. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. We felt like we were staying in our very own Parisian apartment. We loved how our room was equipped with a tea maker and tea packets. Under 15 min. walk to the Effiel Tower. So many great restaurants in the vicinity. The only disadvantage we encountered was during our night stay, the neighboring guests were shouting way too loud during the early hours of the morning. We loved our stay at Le Walt. Wished we could've stayed more nights!

The staff were wonderful about helping us get our bearings in a big city, calling taxis for us, and helping print off business materials. The rumors of Parisian rudeness are grossly exaggerated! The only negative is the size of the rooms: they really are teeny and getting in and out of the shower is a challenge. If you've ever spent the night on a small cruising sailboat, it's roughly that kind of experience in the room as far as space goes. That having been said, the bed was comfy and they made great use of the small space they had to make it as comfortable as possible. And the location was great: we walked to the Eiffel Tower (10 minutes or so), the Army Museum (5 minutes), the Louvre (30 minutes or so), the Arc de Triomphe (30 minutes or so), etc., etc. And if you don't like walking, a metro stop is a few minutes away. There were a number of restaurants, a grocery store, a laundromat, and a bank all within a block or two. If you don't need a lot of space in your room, this is a great choice. We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in Paris anytime soon.

If you want to stay in a traditional Parisien hotel in an excellent location then this hotel is for you. It is within easy reach of three metro lines, thereby making many other places in Paris accessible. In the close vicinity there are shops, including pharmacies, ladies' fashion shops: bakeries, cheesemaonger, newsgents, post office, cafes and an excellent restaurant. Le Bon Marche, the oldest and, arguably most chic, department store in Paris is within easy walking distance as are the delights of the Boulevard Saint Germain.

Excellent location next door to shops, bars, restaurants! Staff, particularly Nigjeb, so helpful. Continental breakfast really good price, worth having as you won't get cheaper outside. Only thing lacking were tea/coffee making facilities in room. Felt safe in this area even though riots took place a couple of blocks away! In hindsight wish I had booked transfers from Gard du Nord with hotel as we were ripped off by taxi driver he charged 65 euros. The hotel booked our return taxi and that cost 23 euros! Hotel Le Derby Alma is about 200 meters away from the Eiffel Tower. From the hotel you can also go to RER C which can take you to Versailles. You can also take the ferry tour of Paris. If you are able to walk 20 minutes, you can go to the Arc of Triomphe. The hotel has a window that views the Eiffel tower, which is lovely at night. We booked 2 family rooms, which are very spacious than most hotel rooms. You can easily fit 3 to 4 people. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained. Around the area, there are cafes, if you want to eat authentic French cuisine. There are also a few Asian restaurants, just in case you need rice. The only thing may be is that the front desk should know the routes going to tourist sites. We asked how to go to Versailles, and she told us to take 2 buses, before riding RER C. Instinctively, we asked a stranger in the street, and he told us just go to the station which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Other than will definitely come back here.
