Just 2 street away from Ben Thanh market and walking distance to Independence, water puppet, war museum and cathedral which is under restoration. Very convenient location with food, tour agency, nail and spa nearby. Hotel is at a quieter street which is also great. Met Vivian and Ben who played a great hotel host and spoke with good English. Unfortunately, we did not use the pool at the roof top which looks great. Love the breakfast buffet and set menu. Complimentary tea set was also served. They had lemon glass scent in the room and it fainted gradually after our 3rd nights. I will come back to stay if there is opportunity.

A&em Art hotel exceeded my expectations. To me it”s room, bed, pillow quality & staffs are on par with Hilton. The location of the hotel is very convenient situated walking distance from ben Thanh market. Front desk receptionist Ms Bich Phuong & bellboy Mr Tan are very friendly & helpful. I stayed here, moved out to District 1 Japanese street middle of my trip then moved back again to this hotel end of my trip. There is welcome drinks & nice breakfast.

This hotel was newly remodeled and is very clean. If you are visiting Ho Chi Minh, stay at this hotel. The location is a bit far from Ben Thanh market and is not walking distance but you can take the taxi there which is only 10 mins away. However, there are many good restaurants within couple blocks of the hotel. There is also a convenient store right across the street that opens 24 hours. The staffs are very polite and helpful. Whenever I need service to the room, they are very prompt to bring them to your room. Excellent service. The facilities are very clean and very well kept. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. It also has the safe box to lock up your personal things. I stayed at this place for 3 nights and I had a great experience. One of the best place I have been. They offer breakfast in the morning as well but i didn't eat there since there are so many around the hotel. But I am sure it is good too. Three thumbs up!!

the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. one of the best hotels i've ever stayed in. rooms are fantastic and very well fitted out. all the little things are provided, hand towels, razer + shaving cream, cotton buds, etc.... doesnt sound like much but you'd be surprised how many 5 star hotels i've been to that are missing little things here and there. rooms are big and spacious. very clean and excellent value. our package also included access to the executive club on level 23 which provided snacks and unlimited drinks (alcohol included!) breakfast provided was a very big selection and was different every day. seemed to cater for the majority of people. very happy with meals. service is outstanding from moment we stepped out of taxi till the day we left. staff are very courteous and customer service is top notch. unfortunately for me i had my bag snatched on the streets but the hotel did everything they could to assist so i'm truly grateful for all their help! all in all i would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone in ho chi minh looking for a luxurious place to stay. we could have just just stayed at hotel and not stepped out. they provided everything! oh, and spa services are open till late and definitely one of the most relaxing massages i've ever had. one minor set back is although the hotel is in district 1 it is a couple of minutes away from all the main malls, cho ben thanh etc. for us it wasn't a big deal as they have taxis out front all the time. we never had to wait for a taxi and it only cost 50000dong (less than $2.50aud!) to get to the main part of district 1. ironically though after all those trips out by taxi my partner ended up buying the majority of her shoopping items from the mall next door. oh, and forgot to mention, if you haven't picked it up already theres a massive mall next door to the hotel which should provide all your basic essentials plus it has a few levels of excellent shopping + currency exchange + atm!

After spending at Six sense NINA Van Bay,here is EXCELLENT,compared with SSNVB, 1000 times better !THIS is 5 STAR HOTEL! Definitely staying at here makes my whole trip in Vietnam happily,good ending! Seems staff never say NO,they are super well training,great service! Especially house keeping is outstanding! They are very thoughtful ,they know how to make the guests comfortable and happy! Of course cleanup the room perfectly! I had quick breakfast,both the range of foods and taste are great,but milk pancakes are not good. The best bang mi in Saigon (I tried two best know one but here is better than those two! As information,SSNVB ‘s one is awful!)

The myst was fabulous choice to end my trip to Vietnam. Location is just fantastic, you can walk to pretty much anywhere in D1. Beautifully designed hotel, the lobby, the restaurant, and the room.. Every corner of them is eye-catching and It’s impossible not to take pics lol Staffs are very courteous and attentive. Complimentary welcome tea and snacks, free minibar and afternoon tea, jacuzzi... tons of reasons to book this hotel! It sucks that I didn’t have time to enjoy all these and wasn’t feeling well during my stay :( Hopefully I could stay longer next time! The room smells nice and the beddings as well but the mattress was little hard for my taste. The only minor issue was there’s no window and they’ve got a small balcony with jacuzzi instead so basically a view is non-existent and it was blocked by a building on a construction. Breakfast has variety of choices and you can order some on the menu without paying sub-charge. But don’t expect too much though... I’ll definitely comeback again whenever I visit saigon!

We stayed in the signature deluxe so had the honor of experiencing the lounge check in, free flow drinks and nibbles in the afternoon, quiet private buffet breakfast experience in the lounge and free of charge late check out. The people were very nice (within and outside of the lounge) with very sophisticated and caring looks. The location was perfect as it was facing Dong khoi street, 5 min walk to Ben Thanh market and the famous Pho 2000, about 15 minutes walk to the reunification palace and a bit more to the war museum. My mother and I didn't use any transportation during the stay! Best service we have ever experienced and was very very relaxing. Would love to return to the hotel if we every have the chance to head back to Ho Chi Minh again.

The Rex Hotel never fails to deliver. Its history and reputation speaks for it self. The Deluxe Room was huge! Enough to fit a small family. Despite my room being near the main room (as per my request), I could barely hear any traffic noise when inside. The staff, as expected at a 5 star hotel, were very polite and courteous. The pool was smallish but suitable. The gym was spacious and had all the necessary equipment. The favourite part of the Rex for me is the rooftop breakfast. Not only is the spread fantastic but there is nothing better than eating a bowl of Pho and looking down onto Nguyen Hue and Le Thanh Ton. Highly recommended!

Brand new hotel, you can smell the new carpet and paint. Noticed some reviewers complained about noise and the smell? This wasn't an issue for us. Good food. Convenient location. Friendly staff. Good price for this standard of hotel. With a little more experience, it would rival Caravelle and Rex hotels (it's behind Rex). It's on the well known Pasteur street and on the corner of Le Loi street. Plenty of nice cafes and restaurants around. We walked ti Ben Thanh Market area for food and shopping during the day and at night, it is close!

Positives: The staff is overtly friendly. The rooms and public areas are very clean and relatively new. The breakfast buffet is one of the best attributes of the hotel. The views from the 11th floor is wonderful. The location is great being located on a dead end street, yet in good walking distance to most District 1 attractions. In the evening, there was a pianist in the lobby, which was a nice touch. It is worth mentioning once again...fantastic and attentive staff. Perhaps the foreigner manager could be more friendly like his staff, but I did not have many dealings with him. He seemed friendly, but nothing like his employees. One final note, the beds are awesome. Negatives: Throughout the hotel, they advertise a happy hour for drinks. It is advertised as buy one drink, get the second for $1.00. I bought a beer and a cocktail. I did expect to pay full price for the more expensive of the two. But, they tried charging me full price for both since one was a beer and one was a cocktail. I was able to finally get the beer for a dollar after a long process of speaking with the manager. They should be more clear in their advertising in this regards. It set a bad tone with me in regards to my overall experience with the hotel. The pool is very small, especially when you look at the hotel next door and see a huge pool. Of course the hotel can not do anything about this. They have very limited space on the roof. The hotel does try to maximize it's seating near the pool, but it feel crowded and uncomfortable. Again, with the space being limited, I understand why they did it. But, it is not comfortable. I made a suggestion to one of the staff that they invest in some fans for the roof area too. When the sun is out and there is minimal wind, it is quite hot in the area. One of the biggest drawbacks for me at this hotel (and I think it is common at most hotels here), you only get about 15 minutes of hot water for a shower before it goes cold. My partner and I stayed at various places in HCMH and the Lotte Legend Hotel was honestly the best choice of accommodation. The staff were very friendly and were easy to communicate with. The room itself was modern and spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was clean and spacious. In terms of proximity, the hotel is a bit further away from Ben Thanh Market but it was nice to get away from all of the hustle and bustle. The gym facility was small but considering it was a hotel gym there was quite a range of equipment. So if you want to get a quick work out in before you feast of Vietnamese cuisine - you definitely can! The hotel offers a range of facilities ranging from an outdoor poor and bar to buffet dinner (not including in room rate). My partner and I couldn't believe how great the hotel was for the price we were paying. The Lotte Legend is my preference of stay when in HCMC

I will break my review down into sections: Room: The hotel is new and clean with good decor and furnishings. The rooms are modern and comfortable, mattresses are firm however I had no issue with this. Air con was effective. Staff: Always friendly, always wanting to help. The concierge booked a couple tours for me quickly and without hassle. Hotel services: We used the airport pickup - we booked a sedan, and we were greeted at the airport by a concierge staff who traveled with us alongside the driver. This is convenient, and although more expensive that a taxi, it was great not to think about where we were going after our international flight. The private car cost us $18AUD each way, the concierge had our luggage out and into our room quickly. We used the hotel spa which was fantastic - more of a massage service. The staff here were so friendly and professional, and the pricing is very competitive considering the higher standard than could be found on the street. Breakfast is great with heaps of options, delicious pho, omelettes and anything else cooked in front of you with a few chefs always there ready to help. Location: The hotel is about 10 minutes walk to the Ben Thanh markets, 5 minutes walk to the war remnants museum - quite central. I think the streets appear a bit cleaner closer to the river or just north of Ben Thanh however everything was in walking distance. The park down the end of the street is a great respite from the hectic city!

My wife and I stayed in this Hotel for 10 days, of our 30 day trip to Vietnam. So we got to know the Hotel very well! The rooms were clean! The sheets were changed daily! The breakfast was excellent! They offered a couple of new items each day! If I was to return to Saigon; I would not hesitate to stay in this Hotel again. It is walking distance to Saigon Square and Ben Thanh Market (10 minutes). Lots of restaurants and small markets nearby. Book with Agoda, as the rates are much higher at the hotel! Enjoy!

I spent a week at Hotel Majestic Saigon and I absolutely loved it. A girlfriend and I shared a twin room, and it was the perfect size for two best friends. Our stay in Vietnam was a mix of luxury and tours and the hotel did a superb job with the luxury!!! The spa services were amazing. Every other day, we had the two hour wellness massage... the best massages we've ever had. I also recommend getting the shampoo and style... it was a full 50 minute head massage and scrub!!! The view from the 8th floor bar was great! You could look out on the river or watch the game of "Frogger" (as we called it) at a round-about below. Drinks were pricey, but we found that all the nicer hotels in the area charged about $30 for a bottle of wine, so it was a standard fee for our drink of choice. We took a few tours, and each company picked us up at our hotel. There was very nice shopping in the area and plenty of restaurants. We also easily walked to the Ben Thanh Market. As two women traveling in Vietnam, we felt safe at the hotel and in the surrounding area, and we certainly enjoyed the pampering! Highly Recommend!!!

our family stayed in two rooms (deluxe with view as we booked it) on the level 8 for four nights. the room is clean and nice bathroom. the room size is adequate for our needs (a little small). breakfast included with the room is very good with choices of both western and eastern dishes, we like the eastern selection better (like beef noodle, rice congee, etc) given our heritage. the service from staff in the dinning is great, they anticipate and provide what we want before we could ask. the hotel is close to all place of interest and is next door to the ben thanh market where stalls were set up around the market street at night selling souvenirs, clothes and food till mid night. we had dinner at one stall in the night market called hai lua, the food is reasonable quality and well priced. there are other good eateries around the hotel, try quan ngon on nam ky khoi nghia st,pho 24 on nguyen du st, quan nuong (bbq garden) on le thanh ton st. there is no hassle with hotel check in, we turned up with the hotel voucher, the staff at the hotel did read my instructions in my booking and try their best to meet my requests. the concierge staff (mr huy) is very helpful to assist us to get around and finding alternative accommodation for us as they could not extend our stay. the only thing that i am not happy with is interrogation like questioning from one of the reception staff at night. we were asked if we are guests staying at the hotel when we entered the lobby, we felt very offended.perhaps the reception staff may need a little more training in dealing with expatriate guests like us. apart from this little incident, we like this establishment and will definitely give this hotel our first choice when we come back to hcmc next time.

Several plus points come to mind - first, the location: right in the heart of Dong Khoi street which is *the* happening place in Ho Chi Minh City - great restaurants and shopping all within a stone's throw from the hotel. Next, the great old world charm of the hotel with all the facilities that you would expect from a good 5-star hotel - swimming pool, restaurant and bar. The room we stayed in was in the old wing but had all the facilities of a modern 5-star hotel room. The room overlooked the street but there was absolutely no noise filtering through despite the heavy Christmas eve traffic. The bathroom was also very clean with everything working perfectly. We had no problem with the air conditioning either. I also highly recommend the hotel's tour desk whose staff were able to organize a 'city tour' and a 'Cu Chi Tunnel' tour for us at short notice. Lastly, the price - about 20-30% cheaper than other equivalent hotels.

Nice hotel located in District 1 only two blocks, five minute walk from the Ben Thanh Market. The hotel restaurant served breakfast lunch and dinner and the prices were very good. We had a Luxury Room on the sixth floor with a big window looking out onto Thu Khoa Huan Street. The room was large and clean and had good facilities. Staff spoke good english and were very helpful. We found a lovely French Patisserie across from the Ben Thanh Market in Le Thanh Ton Street.

At SGD50/night for a twin room, this has got to be 1 of the most value for money stays I had. Room and shower are spacious and clean enough. Location is superb, with endless options of bars and eateries along the same street. Hotel staff are friendly and buffet breakfast, though lacking in variety for the 3 nights I stayed, is good enough for me to want to wake up to eat. We were also given a VND 50,000 voucher each for use at the rooftop bar, which served decent food and offered a considerably good view. Slight drawback is the soundproofing of the rooms, which gets noisy if your room faces the street or when other guests drag their luggages outside. And the tv channels could do with more international channels in English. Will not hesitate to book this hotel again the next time I visit HCMC.

located about 5 minn on foot from ben thanh. about USD 3 by cab to nearby areas that take about 15-25 min on foot. many interesting shops like Gingko and l'usine nearby for those who want souvenirs of better quality. all walkable from hotel. Ben thanh food Street market is also round the corner from hotel. not that cheap, but not as expensive as the touristy restaurants.

My wife and I decided to have a night "away" and checked into a Palace Signature Suite of the Palace Hotel Saigon. The room was a corner unit split into a living room and a bedroom. It had a small corner balcony and view of Nguyen Hue street, the Bitexco tower and a sliver of the Saigon River. A highlight of the room was the bathroom, that stretched the length of the living room and bedroom and included a small jacuzzi - something not found in other suites in this price range - bubble soap and view onto Nguyen Hue street through tinted windows included. Staff was extremely friendly. For example, they brought us two wine glasses within 2 minutes of our request. They even thought so far ahead and included a bottle opener despite not asking for one. We slept through breakfast, so I can't comment on the quality of the food, but breakfast was included. However, given its great location, there are many options - expensive and local - to get some food or simply a coffee. The best part was the price. We were able to get the Suite for about USD 112 (non-refundable) on Agoda, which was on par with standard rooms at the other 4-star+ hotels in the area, and far below the rates for their suites.

We stayed for 4 nights with free spa massage everyday due to hotel's promotion. If you like a quite area and near centre,this is the place. It takes 5mins by taxi or motorbike to Ben Thanh Market,10mins to main shopping malls,10 mins to Bui Vien streets with lots of entertainment. Breakfast is good enough but not Pho-the stock need to be added more flavour. Staff are super friendly with beautiful smile. I wonder how could I become their member? That's mean I want to come back this hotel everytime I travel to Vietnam.

Our visit to A&Em Signature hotel was extremely pleasant. We found the hotel very clean, modern, and has all the facilities that makes our stay very comfortable. Upon arrival, we are told that we have been upgraded to VIP room which has a seating area with another TV and 4 chairs. The bed was a king size and very comfortable. The reception staff Thuy who check us in and out was lovely. The check out process was very easy and accommodating. They let us stay until 2pm with no extra charge and even let us use one of the room to take a shower before we left for the airport. All of the staff were very friendly, polite and helpful, this includes all staff from reception, breakfast, bell boy, house keeping, bar. The roof top pool is a bit small but good to refresh after a hot day. The rooftop garden is amazing, just a place to relax and just enjoy the view. Location is excellent, only 1 block from Ben Thanh street food market and 2 blocks from Ben Thanh market. Breakfast buffet was really good. Overall we are very happy wit our stay, will definitely recommend to other people or stay here again!

I purposely booked this hotel as it is located at District 1 of HCMC. Walking distance for the usual places that I would go to during my trip to HCMC. 1) Cho Ben Thanh (Ben Thanh Market) 2) Zen Plaza (along Nguyen Trai Street) 3) May favourite Restaurant (50 steps away) - Lion City (along Le Anh Xuan Street) The room is clean, comfortable and quiet. I traveled with a scrabble friend this time. We spent most of our time playing scrabble. The ideal room for scrabble players located at the lobby area near the main entrance. We played most of our games in that cozy room - perfect for scrabblers. The only confusion during check-in : We were told that the next day breakfast venue is located at 10th Floor Restaurant. But later discovered that the highest floor that the lift could go up is Level 9. After clarification with the Front Desk, the diners have to go up to Level 9 and walk another floor up through the staircase to Level 10. This could be explained to the guests upon check-in.

Xin Chao! The hotel is near Ben Thanh Market and other HCM attractions, which is a plus plus. The front desk (Thuy and the rest) were very accommodating. They even mentioned that after I check out (next day), I can still have high tea and use pool and shower on the 10th floor. This is good deal as my flight home is at 1AM! I managed to see more attractions and shop at nearby Ben Thanh market. Staff's command of English is also good. In the lobby, a desk is dedicated for tours. Usually someone is manning this table. I already knew in advanced that my room does not have window so I was not surprised (i.e. explicitly mentioned in Agoda). If you want to check the streets, windows are available in the hallway of each floor or you may want to go to pool/bar for nice view of HCM. After a long day of walking and sightseeing, you may want to watch TV. Good thing, channels are in HD quality. I managed to try the hotel's complimentary high tea twice (check-in and check-out). Both are ok (with brownies/sweets, fruits, pancakes/waffles). As for breakfast, I was not able to try since I went out early in the morning to eat pho at a local resto. As for facilities: elevator works fine. Pool is small, but since this is a four star boutique hotel, I did not expect much. View of HCM is nice in the pool area. Over-all, I had a pleasant experience; will book again with this hotel on my next trip to Saigon.

First, the disadvantage of this hotel's biggest one is the 'location'. It is a very good location based on the "accessibility" with the Ho Chi Minh attractions, but it is noisy at night because it is located on De Tham street, which is crowded with clubs and nightlife. They may be sensitive to noise, older, or may not fit well with family units. It is a good hotel to choose for young people who like to play with fun. I think it is a 5 star hotel that can be met at a price of $ 40-50. The kindness of all the staff was close to perfection, so that we could forget some of the disadvantages. The room was small, but the structure was made efficient, and I was able to feel the consideration and effort using good furniture and facilities. Especially breakfast was much better than other hotel's buffet, a la carte and basic dishes, all the ingredients and juice were always fresh. I have written a review based on experience using dozens of hotels across Vietnam for business trips.

Harmony Saigon was the best hotel that i stayed at in Vietnam. The room I booked was nice, clean and had a lovely bathroom. The hotel is in a fairly good location for sightseeing and a short taxi to Ben Thanh market, Saigon opera house and Pasteur st tailors, most taxis I caught cost me only $2-$5. The stand out for this hotel was the staff. I left my phone at the opera house one evening and the concierge had one of the bellboys take me on a hotel motorcycle to the opera house to retrieve it, they didn't have to help but did just as part of excellent service. If you are looking for a classy hotel, conveniently located with awesome staff you can't go wrong at this place. I plan to be back in Saigon in the next 8-12 months and will definitely be staying here again
