"This was our second time here. The staff is very friendly and even recognised us. We stayed in a spacious double room on one of the upper floors. The room was clean and tidy. Only the window is pretty thin, so you hear the traffic. But there was no smell or smog. We loved the location. It is very close to little India, China Town, Mardeka Square and the LRT. Also there are a lot of shops, Cafes (there is a very nice bakery just next to the hotel) and restaurants close by. And they offer a small included breakfast. Which is very friendly. We would go there again, although it is no place to stay for longer."

"Hotel 99 provided the best value yet of the 10 mid priced hotels i've stayed at in KL. The upscale lobby, halls, elevator, and rooms was really nice to stay at.. My queen double was very large, wifi worked great, television was fine. The left 2 large bottles of water as well as 3in1 coffee each day. My window was floor to ceiling allowing nice bright light in during the days. I was very happy here and would stay again!"

"I checked into Arenaa Star on the 21st October and stayed here for 2 nights. It was a very pleasant stay. First and foremost after putting down my luggage, I ventured to the hotel's open air restaurant located on the Mezzanine floor. The seafood olio oglio I ordered was good. I also tried grilled chicken and lamb chop on subsequent days and they are all ridiculously cheap yet extremely tasty. Wow! The friendly and courteous staffs made the ambience all the more better. When it comes to the accomodation, I must say that it has the coziest bed and pillows for you to rest after a long walk tour around KL which you can easiy access via the LRT and is just a walking distance from Chinatown. Not to mention the big and modern bathroom, flat wide screen tv and various themes that represents each floor. For example the 1st Floor represents the Malaysian stars thus you will see the portraits of the local entertainers painted on the wall along the hallways to every hotel room. Not to mention the Hollywood, Bollywood, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, Korea etc. You might have a pleasant surprise to see that one of them happens to be your favourite! So in conclusion, Arenaa Stars lives up to its name and is very recommendable for the budget value and comfort. "

"We have always love staying in Chinatown KL compared to other parts of KL because of the hustle and bustle of Petaling Street, which also has great food and shopping bargains. Having stayed in a few other hotels, Hotel GEO is the most convenient hotel in whole of Chinatown KL. It is smack right beside the exit of Pasar Seni LRT, like one minute walk away without having to cross any street. Pasar Seni is beside KL Sentral LRT station, and is on the same line as KLCC station. To us, this is a location heart of KL, very accessible to other places such as KLCC, Golden Triangle, Bricksfield Little India, Midvalley area, Damansara area, Sunway Lagoon (places we went). 5 mins across the street, it is the famous Petaling Street. There is the famous Long gan drink stall, and the famous KL Hokkien Noodle. In the evening there is the Grill Stingray, sotong, cockles stall right beside Hong Leong Bank, for supper you can have Grill BBQ food and Lok Lok right beside the KK Convenient store. And who can missed out the streets full of stalls with "genuine copy" goods and cheap bargains? :D Besides the great location, the staffs are extremely friendly that smile and greet us whenever we went back. The lifts can only be accessed upon tapping the room card. The hotel is very new, having opened only few months ago. The whole place is very new and clean. Although room is small, it is big and comfortable enough for the two of us. Bed is king size and very comfortable :)"

"I would summarize our experience below: For budget traveler. PROS: Very Near Masjid Jamek station- no issue on getting around the city because of this. use the MRT /LRT and monorail till you drop. Very near River of Life, Merdeka square , Chinatown, Central Market, KL gallery, textile factory. Very good wifi. Room is spacious, air-conditioning good in our room. Beside KFC, 711 and near Watsons. Near also to KL tower walkable however, you cannot do walk loner because it is very hot and humid in KL. The middle aged receptionist is commendable and very helpful. Did not get his name but good job. Good on travelers on a budget. CONS: MRT noise can be heard every time since your are near the station line. if your are a light sleeper, don't book here. Breakfast not that good. canteen area at 2nd flr hot and not comfortable to eat. Shower is most of the time with good pressure but there are times pressure is weak. There are beggars outside which would make you feel uneasy. "
