We experienced some of the best Vietnamese accommodations and hospitality during our trip to Sapa. Our plan was to book three different hotels in several different areas around Sapa. First night in Sapa stayed at Pao’s. . . second night at another more rustic hotel. . . third night – Back to Pao’s! Front office manager (Mr. Thang) – went out of his way to make our stay memorable. He was supported by friendly and capable front line staff including Mr. Dat and Mr. Duong. All of the staff could speak English well and couldn’t have done anything more to make our trip there easy and special. During our check-out, Mr. Thang handed us his card and let us know if there was anything he could do. . . to let him know. After one night in a different hotel, we came running back to Pao’s. We were greeted with upgraded room and warm welcome from all the staff – that treated us like returning VIPs. We arrived one day prior to our planned trek/homestay. We were on our honeymoon and they upgraded our room as a surprise! We had such a lovely dinner there and all of th staff were exemplary. They stored our luggage at no extra cost while we went trekking. They even offered us the use of a spare room on return from trekking so that we could shower and freshen up! Not just a shower stall in a gym but an actual full room. Super thoughtful, classy service in a BEAUTIFUL location. I think they truly have one of the best views of the mountain around and it’s a 5 minute scenic walk into the town square. Would love love to come back!

Our trip to Sapa was made amazing by our stay in SilkPath. We took an overnight train from Hanoi to Lao Cai and arrived in the hotel at 0700hrs. While it was full house, the hotel was kind enough to let us use the shower facilities to freshen ourselves in the morning before heading out for the adventure in Sapa. Everyone was so warm and nice from the reception staff to the porter and to the restaurant staff. Waldo was superb in arranging all our needs from transportation to pick up, and sharing tips on travelling in this beautiful town. Not to mentioned, that the GM Steve was very helpful and nice in ensuring that our stay and visit was all in order. Kudos to the team for having such a exemplary leader. This has to be one of the best hotel we have stayed in and will definitely be back! Well done SilkPath team! Truly 5 star!

The staff at the Sapa Horizon hotel really understand hospitality, from the minute you arrive they do everything they can to make your stay in Sapa easier. The rooms are exactly as they appear on the web site. I booked a mountain suite room with views of in two directions, which meant that from my bed I could watch the sun rise and set on the mountains and was on eye level with the clouds during the day. There was also a picture window in the bathroom, so you get a 'loo with a view' too. The bed is huge, with lots of pillos and very comfortable with lovely crisp linen. The wifi is excellent and there is a TV (not just Asian stations!) and desktop computer for use in the room. As well as a lovely little wraparound outdoor balcony area (with outdoor seating), the room has a very comfy armchair in a nice corner by the window facing Fansipan Mountain. There is a large amount of hanging and shelf space and bathrobes and slippers are provided. There are even a selection of books available in the room (left by other guests). The safety box is sturdy, new and easy to use and big enough to fit my laptop, ipad and valuables. And the decor is all very tasteful, with clean, minimalist lines and understated luxury. But it is all the small homely touches that makes this hotel so special. Everything on the top of the fridge area is complimentary, this includes a free bottle of red wine, coffee, water and a generous fruit bowl (that is replenished each day). All toiletries and bathroom necessities are supplied. And on days that you might happen to be in the room in the afternoon, the staff turn up at your door with a complimentary hot muffin and a fresh squeezed juice. I don't drink coke, fanta, lemonade or beer, so the staff very kindly emptied out what was in the fridge and restocked it with diet coke and tonic water. Once in while a hotel surpasses your expectations. The hotel is brand new, everything works, plenty of electrical sockets, hot water and good shower, AC/Heat works well. The mattress is western style and very comfy. I had a lovely view of the mountain from the balcony. The room is immaculately clean. Service is exceptional. From the manager through to the cleaning staff i have not been met with such warmth and friendliness outside of 5 star hotels. It really is that good. The manager was asking if there was anything that could be done to make the rooms better, i mentioned a coat hook would be appreciated for the wet coats... within 30 minutes someone arrived at my room with a screwdriver and one was fitted. Speechless. Breakfast caters to local viet tastes. There was a number of fried items fries/potatoes etc that were left on plates to go cold. I wish these could be kept warm. There is ample selection and good coffee, im sure any westerner would find something to enjoy.

The hotel is situated on an uphill part of sapa town. I did walked up and down to the town center all the time; a bit of a workout I would say! The first time you get to town center I would recommend getting a taxi if you have a big luggage. Very difficult to clime with those! The room was lovely and looked exactly as in photos. Staff was very helpful and speak good English. Breakfast was plentiful and good. Overall a nice stay!

From my 2-night stay, I am so impressed with the service of the hotel staff. All of them are very much co-operative, polite, and equipped with good English. They tried their best to assist every guests during their stay. Especially, Ms Ha, the receptionist, who intensionally woke me up for last minute breakfast and surprised me with a bunch of flower and a cake in my room on my birthday. My room in the first night actually already had a great mountain view, but it was upgraded to a suite, which had more space with a waiting room on the second night. All in all, the Sapa Diamond Hotel is a very nice hotel and one I would recommend highly.

The Amazing Hotel, centrally located in Sapa, is one of those new-ish types of hotels that needs a little bit more work to be really excellent, and a go to destination for those wanting a little something more from their Sapa experience. Having arrived, as most do, on an extremely early morning train from Hanoi (the less said about that experience the better), Staff were friendly, extremely accommodating and did everything they could to get our room ready in a reasonably short amount of time. We're fairly laid back travellers, so went off to explore the town before we could properly check in. Be warned though. As you arrive in Sapa and guests are deposited from the minibus to their various hotels, you'll spot crowds of local women flocking to the vans to sell their wares. The same applies when (and whenever) leaving your hotel of choice...many people comment on it, but the reality can be fairly overwhelming initially, especially when they not only follow you wherever you go, but then WAIT outside any restaurant or shop you choose to visit! I find it funny, but many will find it intimidating. So, back to the hotel. It's perched on the edge of one of the many hills in Sapa town, with the design really benefitting from the surrounding landscapes. Floor-to-Ceiling windows really do make it feel like you're melting into the scenery. Rooms here are really lovely, and to a standard that you'd only typically expect from some of the bigger cities in Vietnam, and certainly better than many of those. Clean, modern with comfortable beds and beautiful linens, there's also a bar area and enclosed, heated pool on the roof...enjoy a bath-temperature soak on colder, wet days or a post-walk soak and a great cocktail before heading out to find dinner. We didn't ever eat in the Restaurant, so can't comment on that, but the price of drinks is really reasonable especially in comparison to some of the local restaurants and bars. About nearly 2km far from the city center - the cathedral of sapa, but this hotel has surprised us a lot. Nothing different from the photos, it's even better in reality. With Helpful staff, beautiful and clean room with mountain view, this might be one of the best 3-star hotels in town, awesome quality with the price. Also, nice breakfast! We had absolutely enjoyed 3 days 2 nights over there, in a room for 2 whịch was nice and cozy with a wonderful foggy mountain view. We love Sapa and Praha hotel as well. Will come back since we have other occasions to visit the city.

This hotel is super clean, and location is on top of the hill , can overlook the city of Sapa. All staffs are helpful and friendly. Especially Customer Service Miss Anna, She is a very friendly and sincere in her duty. We had our dinner there as well. The staff make our self at home and relax. We all end our dinner at long hours. Staffs still with all smiling face. Really best service. Hotel also offer us to store our luggage before we had our climb to Mount Fansipan, Ms Anna also offer us a room to fresher up after our return, but we did not take it as we had another hotel to check in under the tour package. The amenities in the hotel also rated as 5 stars.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Staff were so friendly, going above and beyond in everything. They let us check in early and gave us another room to hang out in after check out as our train didn't leave till evening, so we could shower after our waterfall walk (which was lovely and recommended by them) they packed us a surprise free lunch for the train also! They also organised and drove us back to Lao cai from sapa for a third of the price we paid to get to sapa. There is a free cooking class each evening, it was fun and delicious and the chef Is a master fruit carver, so showed us how to carve a few things. Also this hotel is located in the best spot in sapa for mountain views, so lovely! Breakfast was also delicious, I recommend the vegetable omelette. My husband and I are vegetarians, and this was not a problem at all, I ate in the hotel restaurant one night and had delicious veg food, especially the vegetarian spring rolls! I could not recommend this hotel more!

The hotel got very high recommendation on Agoda already but we still found some negative comments. We have decided to chose this hotel and were ready for unexpect apologies. What happens were the best experience we know so far. The staff are excellence. Listen and improve. Try their best for your comfortable. The breakfast is just so good. It is not a buffet but you could have as much as you can on a selective menu. This is finately my chose of hotel for the next visit to Sapa. Just love it.

I was travelling with another female friend and this was by far the best hotel experience we've had. The staff were so kind and helpful and never stopped smiling. They helped us book a night train back to Hanoi and a car to take us to two different waterfalls. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the room was clean and new. Anything you need they were there for you! Even brought us up two glasses of ice tea to our room when we arrived.

Very pleasant. Friendly reception staff. In-house tour facilitator coordinated day treks for us. English speaking guides, who were extrememly informative about local agriculture, customs of the minority tribal groups within the SaPa mountain region, places of interest (waterfalls, rivers), textiles, & advice regarding reasonable prices for souvenier items. Colourful markets, colourful people. Comfortably cooler atmosphere at a higher altitude. Lovely, arty, handicraft village set into a mountainside, high above the clouds.

Our family of 4 booked 2 connecting rooms on Christmas Day. But due to the power breakdown of Fansipan cable car, we decided to stay 2 nights, so that we can come again the next day. Luckily the rooms are available. The hotel reception & their staffs greeted us, friendly and provided taxi arrangements and also cable car tickets purchased. On one occasion, due to missed communication, the taxi driver supposed to pick us in Fansipan cable car station but we took the wrong one. The hotel didn’t blamed us and willing to absorb the cost. The room deco & cleanliness are super!! It is equivalent to 5 star hotel standard for sure!!! The location is near town centre, but quieter and less dusty. I strongly recommend whoever wish to come Sa Pa to stay at this hotel.

I'm at a loss for words at how amazing my stay was at Sapa Relax Hotel & Spa. The hotel is relatively new and my girlfriend and I took a bit of a risk booking a room here. We were not disappointed! The accommodations were very clean, beautiful, and modern. The complimentary breakfast was delicious (not mediocre like many other hotels in Vietnam). The staff was incredibly friendly and treated us with great warmth. We felt as though we were more than just regular hotel guests. Anything we needed, they provided--including recommendations on activities to do around town. We were able to get massages right in the hotel and left the spa feeling like a million bucks. The view of the terraced mountains from our bedroom balcony was breathtaking. I only wish I could give this hotel 6 stars! This is the gold standard for hotels in Vietnam, and VERY reasonably priced!! Do yourself a favor and book your stay here when you are in Sapa. I definitely will again whenever I am back in town.

I absolutely am satisfied with my choice.. It was opposite good shops for shopping of clothing and apparels, we bought lots of bags included. This hotel is located in the locations where it is easily connected to all other parts of sapa. During my time, there are lots of construction going around but our place seems quiet. We slept in peace during our last few days of visit to Hanoi. Highly recommended. We were also allowed to check out early before we head out to cat cat village and the silver lining waterfall... The staff allowed us to use the bathroom below for bathing before we head back to Hanoi for our flight back home.

Our room is on fourth floor with private balcony so we can clearly see Muong Hoa valley and Fansipan mountain, The room is big with twin bed .. that is very comfortable.. . the bathroom is modern and convenient for using with bathstub... The lunch on restaurant SAPA SKY VIEW is so tasty .. We love to sit on this nice restaurant that may be the best place in Sapa to enjoy fresh air and outdoor table is the best choice to enjoy the amazing view of Sapa .. We really love this hotel !!!

We stay here for 2 nights, arrived early from overnight train we were tired but understood if the hotel were fully booked then the early they can provide the room will be noon, we got in submit check in voucher, drop off our bags went out for breakfast, walk around then massage, when we back at noon room iris ready! What a beautiful comfortable room, staff are friendly, everyone of them. Food was simple but ok for breakfast, whenever I request they try to do their best for me. The Receiption lady really sweet & polite, the guy is very friendly fun & a bit crazy which make you laugh all day :) the hotel also provide trekking tour but we didn't join any, will back for that and recommend my friends & family to stay. Saw some rude guest yell at the Receiption complain can't early check in at 7am, reason for complain because they have babe with them, babe need sleep,then if that's so important they should pay for extra day for early check in but not yell at the staff!!! Also during that two days, these ladies with babe created a lot of noisy, on the day check our I was talking to Receiption arrange a van back to train station. ( hotel can help you booked van left at 5:30 back to town get train) the lady was come out ask me to speak very very quietly because her babe is sleeping at lobby public area.. Again if you plan to travel with babe want comfort then please pay extra, do not ask people to speak whispering in public!

Booked from 21st to 24th Jan'19 and absolutely enjoyed the stay at Hotel. Nice and clean room, professional and friendly staff. Gave pretty good advice on saving money and suggesting convonient tours suitable to enjoy with a 3 yr toddler. Located quite well. Booked mountain view room but as weather was all foggy couldnt say how was the view (not a fault of hotel). Only things could have beeb better are Wifi and shower. Wifi was very weak in tje room could be room to room basis and shower was fluctuating between cold and hot water. Best part was the room inverters which kept the room cozy warm when outside temp was 4 degree. Thumps up for the hotel.

Room has large windows, private balcony, a mountain view among the best in Sapa. On the balcony you can hear a waterfall faintly with a stunning view of Mt. Fansipan. Room is very clean, bright, spacious, soft bed, simple, a 3 years old hotel in a quiet neighbourhood. Room heater is like turbo charged yet quiet, the strongest I had experienced in Vietnam. Communication is never a problem with Mr. Thanh. Breakfast is a buffet, good and plentiful. It must be romantic here as it is frequented by young Vietnamese tour couples. Hotel is on the outskirt of town, at the road towards Cat Cat Village, 200m of upslope walk to town though there are small restaurants and shops nearby. Its Smart TV does not connect to any TV channel except the internet. Its hand bidet gets hot water wrongly flowed in. Kettle don't stop boiling until you pull out the wall-plug, then toadstool sprouts out near its floor the next day (this is Sapa). Plus points outweigh the minus; I would gladly stay here yet again.

I have booked a standard room. I arrived Sapa quite early with the train. And it is normal where the room is not ready such early in the morning at 8 am. I have rented a motorbike from the hotel with a good price and start my day in Sapa to nearby Cat Cat village. When we were back to the hotel at 10 am, the room still not ready yet. It is ok where the check in time is not so early for the hotel normally. So my wife and I ordered breakfast set, sitting outside the restaurant, enjoy our breakfast with great mount Fansipan in front of our eyes!! Wow!! So enjoyable!! Not only the view, but the alacarte breakfast set is just so delicious!! And we were so lucky that Mr.Luan upgraded our room to junior suite room with no extra charges as our standard room is still not ready. The room is big, nice view from the room straight to mount Fansipan!! The every each of the staff in the hotel speak English, and they are very helpful. They show we the way to sightseeing by motorbike, they recommend me which tracking trip we should join, and they show me how to get enjoy in Sapa. The daily breakfast is wonderful with fresh fruit juice with no added extra water. Some people said t is a bit far from the town. But for me it is just 10 mins walk and I could stay far from the traffic and busy town. Location is not an issue here. I am rarely give such high score for the hotel that I have stay. But H'muong Hotel worth all the star that I have given.

We were a group of 4 that booked the family room at sapa eden hotel. We stayed for 1 night. The room was clean and had an amazing view of the valley. It was also in a convenient location - 5-10 mins walk to the city centre. Trung (the receptionist) was also very helpful and knowledgable. She helped us arrange our trip to the waterfalls, the trek to the 3 villages as well as did a room call everytime the cab arrived to take us to our destinations. Overall an excellent experience at sapa Eden hotel. Would recommend a stay there.:)

Absolutely loved our time at Sapa Memory. The hotel was clean, great rooms in a quiet central location. One of the best aspects was Ngo on the front desk. He went out of his way to help us arrange transport and then gave us his number so that when we were out and about we could contact him if we had any difficulties. Thank you Ngo your hotel is fortunate to have you representing it. We recommended this hotel to everyone we met.

This hotel has definitely got the best value for money,They have been a great help in our trip, upgrading us to a mountain view room, allowing us to check in way before the check in time because we arrived early in the morning.The areas are nicely equipped, magnificent, with views that are great, beds and showers, TV, towels provided, blankets and sheets. We'd highly recommend this particular hotel to anyone planning to invest some time in Sapa.

We booked the 4 pax suite for 3 days and 2 nights during December 2014. The weather was really cold and the room has a fireplace which was really awesome. The hotel is clean and tidy. The hotel is situated 5 minutes walk from the main market (not too near, not too far). The location is good as it's really quiet and not located on the main street which could be quite noisy from people's interaction. The private balcony for 4 pax suite is shared with other users (not really private) but the view looking over Sapa terraces is really good. If the weather is good, you can see the sun rises up from the mountain. Breakfast is provided but we can only choose 1 option (not buffet style) which is something I don/t like. The breakfast portion is small and limited. I preferred to eat my lunch and dinner at the market which is much more affordable and delicious. This hotel is located near the Cat Cat village which is a MUST- GO tourist attraction. There are a lot of "Not Genuine" Northface shops around. The best deal shop is located at Cat Cat village. ****** Blackout is quite common at Sapa. I was even trapped in the lift for 1 minute. Not the hotel's fault as the entire Sapa is affected.

This is my second stay in this hotel. It is located in the centre of the tourist area, surrounded by shops and nice restaurants. Super convenience location. The room is clean and spacious, and with all the basic necessities. Even the breakfast was simple but the delicious noodle soup already made my day. Staffs are so lovely and friendly, they are doing best to fulfil guests' needs, especially JOHNNY *\^o^/* thanks for everything. I will definitely stay in this hotel again and again when I visit Sapa.
