In First I wan to say many many Thanks To Grand Hyatt Hotel make my this stay at this hotel alot of memories and best hotel in my life..i going to celebrate my birthday with my wife..at first we book grand deluxe king..after i reach hotel at check in counter there let us check in early about 11am plus..after check in the hotel stay name kenny to me he wan give me some special to my stay to celebratemy birthday..and he say grand hyatt upgrade my room to grand executive suites to me..is a super nice room..so enjoy when we stay and the staff is so friendly and helpfull..thanks grand hyatt..i will come back again for next trip..

It was Outstanding, Shangri-la proves as one of most outstanding Hotel in KL. I am upgrading my rooms from Deluxe King to Club Rooms with Twin Tower View. Even though the Twin Tower rooms a little bit dissapointed as we only see one tower building (not twin tower) as we had seen in our stay at Maya Hotel KL, but the rooms is great, nice, and really comfortable. We've had a nice foods and beverages at Horizon Club, and wide variety of breakfast at Lemon Garden Cafe. All is delicious. The Gym equipment is the BEST as long as i have been stayed at many 5 star hotel. Full equipment and complete! We didn't walk outside the hotel cause we went by car in the morning and back at night durng our 2 days staying, but it is closed to Twin Tower area and Bukit Bintang Area. There is a little issue as i don't feel warm hospitality as 5 Star Hotel should be, some were nice, some just OK and below. Should trained their staff more, make warm hospitality as their culture and identity as Shangrila is an Asian Hotel with warm Asian hospitality. Other than that, all is PERFECT.

i stayed at this hotel with my friend and stayed for three nights. we had a very pleasant stay here and found the rooms very spacious. the bathroom was particularly spacious, bright, and pretty, with a separate shower and bath. since i'm a workout addict, i was looking forward to a good workout in their gym. the gym was very well equipped (incline bench, flat bench, 20kg barbell, a good range of dumbbells, treadmills, elipticals, lat pulldown machine, cable machine, etc.) i had absolutely no problem maintaining my regular workout routine while here. very satisfied with the gym! the pool was really great. i particularly liked the mini booths by the large windows that provide a stunning view of kl. while i didn't get to visit the bar at night, it seems like it was packed on friday and saturday nights when they had a 50 ringit cover charge (all other days, there is no cover). i appreciated how they had two laundry machines and a dryer as i wanted to do laundry before leaving the hotel. you simply need to go to the reception to buy tokens for the machines and laundry detergent. the one downside might be that the hotel is a little far from metro stations. the hotel was about a 15 minute walk to the center of bukit bintang which wasn't a big deal for us since we love to walk, but it might be a bit far for folks planning to travel with older relatives. there's a short hill that you have to climb to get to the hotel. the closest lrt station is dang wangi (which is also about a 15-20 minute walk), and the closest monorail station is bukit namas (about a 15 minute walk). the area also lacks a lot of local food joints as it caters to tourists. better head to masjid jamet and kampung baru if you're looking for affordable local fare. overall a very pleasant stay and great value!

This was not the first time we stayed here while in kl. Our 2 bedrooms premier at the executive floor is larger than our previous stay in 2 bedrooms at the premier floor. Check in was fast at the 39th floor. Had simple but delicious refreshments at the lounge upon check in from 5 to 7 pm as complimentary. The children were delighted to see a small basket of fruits and several packets of snacks on the dining table once entered the room as complimentary from the hotel. And again the staff were very attentive and welcomed us with smiles. Only the tv channels were quite limited and should have been provided with more varieties. Other than that we were absolutely satisfied. No worries to dine out since the hotel is centrally located and surrounded with many choices of eating area. Suria klcc is just 10 to 15 minutes walking distance and the famous nasi lemak antarabangsa of kampung baru is around 7 minutes drive. Definitely will come back here when visiting kl.

Facilities are good, the gym has a nice view (can see the Menara KL and Twin Towers clearly). Staff are really friendly. Our room was clean, neat and I love their interior decor. The server was down on our last night, so it affected the TV and wifi connection. However, the staff were truly apologetic about the inconvenience and handled the matter professionally. The carpark is in the building and free to use but there was a word of caution pasted around the carpark to park at our own risk. Conveniently located near Kampung Baru and KLCC, so we had quite a number of food options to eat.

All of their staff are very friendly and accommodating. I have booked a club room for my husband’s birthday and apart from the nice view of the twin towers, they booked us in their highest floor. The club lounge is very nice especially when we had our breakfast there with the view of the city. All the best to Mandarin Oriental. Thank you Akiko of reception for assisting our stay.

Very Recommended Hotel : - Infront Of Hotel is AVenue K Mall : Just Go Inside and 1 access same to Suria KLCC (very near to twin tower petronas) - Transport is MRT is very near, just go in Avenue K Mall , with Rapid KL LRT KLCC - this hotel is very cheap is you booking early - breakfast is very nice and many food you can pick - Room is very Nice View, clean, facilities is very good - many place you can go - Tranport another MRT, you can use Grab Car (Online transportation), GRAB is very Cheap between Uber or another Taxi Meter, Just download in Playstore or App Store - From Airport KLIA (kuala lumpur International airport), you can get to the hotel very simple : 1. From KLIA to KL Sentral with Bus (price is about RM10-30) 2. From KLIA to KL Sentral with KLIA Express (One way is RM55) from KL Sentral, you take LRT Rapid KL to KLCC (price RM 2.30) after arrive KLCC LRT, you just go out to AK Mall, and you arrive soon to hotel. this the best recommend hotel at Kuala Lumpur

We had a great stay at this hotel. Small building but in a great location. You should request to have a room with the twin tower view, it was a sight to behold especially at night. Staff are friendly and no problem with checking in & out. I love their hydrotheraphy pool with warm water. You should also try their sky lounge where you can enjoy the view of the twin tower and kl tower while having coffee/tea or even just to relax. Room was clean, with big bed and comfy pillows. Though their tv is a bit old, still its ok. They have mini ref, elec.pot., and coffee/tea maker in the room. The bathroom was spacious, tub and shower were separated. Free wifi inside the room. Just a short distance to petronas, klcc, suria mall. And also walking distance to bukit nanas train station if you want to go to other places accessible via train and to kl sentral. Just in front of the station is the kl tower. Construction is on going beside petronas, i think it will block the view from the hotel of the twin tower once fully constructed since hotel maya is a just small building. So better stay here while it still offers great view of the tower. Overall, i love everying about this hotel. We didnt try their breakfast, as it's not included with the room that i booked, but there's no problem coz we ate at the mall beside petronas. Will definitely go back and stay here again if going back to kl.

room : i love their sweet dream bed, it is so soft and comfortable. i even bought one pillow from the hotel. room size is normal. view (not twin tower). bathroom: i love their bath products which are all from crabtree and evelyn. location: the hotel is close to the train station, it takes you around 6 mins to walk there. no covered walkway, as some construction need the hotel is in progress. don't even think to walk directly to twin tower (no way)! services: we arrived at 7am, but the front desk said we need to wait until 3pm to check in. (fine)...we went to the hotel at 3:15pm again, the front desk said we need to wait for 1 hour again (are you kidding?) so i explained the situation that we came early before, and they finally fixed a room for us within 10 mins. (don't expect to have early check-in!) hotel restaurant: i did not booked for breakfast, but i did go to the restaurant to take a look during lunch. it seems that the food selection is limited, i rather go out to eat. food store got nothing special to buy. hotel taxi: don't get the taxi from the hotel, the starting price ($6) is higher than te normal taxi ($3).

pros: loved the location, within walking distance to major shopping area like bukit bintang and place of attraction like petronas twin tower. just across the hotel there is a sheltered bridge heading to a big shopping mall, pavilion kl. monorail train station (raja chulan station) is just 3 minutes walk, and can go to bukit bintang or kl central, though those with heavy luggage will face difficulties here as there is no escalator or lift. minor cons: getting a taxi with meter is quite difficult, as most taxi drivers want fixed price. need to prepare enough time if want to go to airport / kl central by taxi to anticipate these and also the traffic jam esp. during rush hours.

I was very happy with this hotel, great location as it was only up the street from The Thai Embassy. 7 Eleven across the road and Domino's! The Petronas Twin Towers and the train station wasn't too far away. Rather surprised for a Four Star hotel that they didn't have red wine! One of the main reasons I choose this hotel was for The Shuttle Service which was only one way from the hotel to 3 or 4 stops and NOT TO THE AIRPORT. I queried this and was told that the customer needs to check with the hotel first! I have never heard the likes of this before! Why would one check the hotel first? I suggest as they advertise their Shuttle Service specifying the restrictions! I have never heard of this before and I use hotels with A Shuttle Service all the time! I only gave 3 stars for cleanliness as the floor was dirty!

We are highly recommending this hotel because we had a wonderful stay here. Location is great as well. Never had a problem with getting a transportation/taxi and a walking distance from the train station. Staff are friendly and always willing to assist and are helpful. Free breakfast was also the best with variety of choices to kick start your day. The hotel is almost an hour from the airport.

I cannot fault this hotel. The service from the time of arrival was excellent, the staff friendly and polite. The whole hotel was decorated to a high standard and beautifully maintained with clean and comfortable the rooms. We also had a view of the petronas towers from our window. The pool and spa areas were lovely and there was a wide range of good food available. Also, a good live band was performing in the main hotel bar every night during our stay. The hotel is perfectly located was visiting the main shopping areas and petronas towers although travel further into town was difficult via public transport as the is not a train station very near by. However taxis are readily available and reasonably priced. I would have liked a map of the hotel on arrival with the restaurant menus and opening times listed but that is really my only real criticism.

Very nice looking hotel, room is spacious, enough breakfast variety. The only problem is the internet is ridiculously slow (like takes more than 5 minutes to download 5mb attachment slow). Even the paid internet (RM50/ day) is also slow, although faster than the free one.. I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you need decent speed internet access Location is nice, if you're into history, it is next to a museum and right across the old train station. They do provide a timely shuttle to city center, and they select taxis that is waiting in their lobby, so it's pretty safe

Every single moment of our time here was a joyous treat. Staff were amazing, with us and our 1 year old son, who was treated like family. Our room was fantastic, with a comfy bed and fabulous view of the Petronas towers. Location was great - a short walk to KLCC, and just a few minutes to both MRT/LRT train stations. Breakfast was incredible- sooo many delicious options! Our son adored the pool and playground, and my husband enjoyed the gym facilities. We have told everyone we know about our experience, and will return in time, for sure!

Since both my partner and I are in the hotel service industry , we were quite particular with our stay but we were blown away with our stay at intercontinental KL from the decor /interior of the hotel , the friendly staff( especially the door man who always greeted us with a warm smile every time ) to the comfy and beautiful room ( we were upgraded for free as well ) to the amazing breakfast ! Service was super top notch too !! I've tried to stopped my partner from spotting the minor issues ( bad career habit ) but even he has to say Thumbs Up ! Also couple minutes to the LRT train station . Keep it up team !

Yes, hotel is above five stars. and is worth the price and value. I Would like recommend this property to all. I wish from General Manager to read on this assessment "Review". Hotel management is very integrated, responsive and helpful. Duty Manager, Front Office, The reception, Experience Concierge, "Joshua" and "Suria" And all the staff are very professional, cooperation and welcoming. Friendly staff in all departments. A new and modern place and wonderful smart buildings. and best "Views". Elevators, corridors, rooms, furniture, restaurant, swimming pool, facilities and the hotel's smell are very refined, high taste, cleanliness and luxury. Thank you and everyone for their kindness, dealings and communication, thanks for the hospitality, for the comfort and satisfaction, for the quality, for attention and care. So, It must be Banyan Tree KUALA LUMPUR the best hotel "always". Thanks for you very much personally and to everyone individually.

I stayed at the D Villa Residence as I need to do my Thai Visa, which is a stroll across the road so the location was great for me. Its about a 30 min walk to the nearest train station/shopping centre which I enjoyed doing. The staff were amazing and were super helpful, from the front desk, to security, to the man in the convenience store they have on site tot he lady who ran the breakfast service. The breakfast is a small room away from the hotel, it wasn't the best I've had much better but the lady was so sweet in there that it didn't bother me. The rooftop pool was amazing. It was big, clean and the views of KL city were breathtaking, absolutely loved it. My room was great, comfortable bed and pillows, a beautiful view from the window, it was equipped with all the necessities. Overall I had a wonderful stay

Pros - location, room minimalist style, cafe is awesome, a few steps to the lrt station and few minutes to the golden triangle hotspot bukit bintang and all malls. Food at the pool side cafe is nice and ambience is awesome. Overall great staff in the cafe and reception however this one chinese staff is ridiculously rude . Requested for the iron, she said she just gave it to someone and dont know when it will come back and cannot confirm it and maybe will never get it for me. I mean common, thats not how you address an issue or request from a 4 night guest. Her tone is seriously horrible and she is always sitting at the reception side table (not the main reception who was awesome - philipine staff). I suggest her to get some manners classes before being the one handling customers. other than that, place is good for value

This is a good place to stay, around 5 minutes drive from Damai LRT station and about RM5 Grab fees. The condition of the room is good, and clean. The view from the room is very nice where you can see clearly the KLCC tower (and very close too). There are plenty of restaurants with tasty food at the ground level since the hotel is basically integrated with Gurney Mall. However, there are still rooms for improvement. Although it is a non smoking room, but somehow when someone stayed next to your room smoked in the bathroom, the smoke and very strong smell can get into your room too.This is very unacceptable since it is unhealthy to be a passive smokers. So hotel management please do something to ensure that the no smoking policy is really implemented.

we got a room with a lake side view, which was very nice, room was clean and nice, including toilets, the flush was not working on arrival, but was promptly repaired. staff are friendly and helpful. the hotel is not very close to any public transport like trains or buses. the mall is close buy, walking distance. need to cross the highway . closest lrt is ampang. we traveled mostly by public transport. it costs around 25myr max to Klcc depending in the type of taxi (premier) or normal taxi. the hotel has good range of cuisine, indian, continental and local food (3 restraunts in house). wifi is free in room and through out hotel with good reception and speeds

we stayed in a 1-bedroom apartment and enjoyed the comfort and cleanliness of the hotel. the apartment had a radio/cd player, 2 flat screen tvs, a well-equipped kitchenette, a cozy lounge, an awesome bathroom (with a view of the city), and a spacious bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe. how great is that? staff were very friendly and helpful with request. check-in and out was quick, there was free parking and internet too. the view from our room was amazing, especially in the shower! as for public transport, the nearest lrt (train) station is about 200m away (less than 5 min stroll) from the hotel. we didn't get a chance to check out the breakfast spread but we were told it was still held in a suite/room as the hotel is still new. nevertheless, i would recommend somerset ampang for anyone looking for a trendy, comfortable, clean place to stay in the heart of kuala lumpur.

I was just 3 Days in KL , had a nice time in the Hotel. 10 Minutes by feet to the Twin Towers and 2 Min. by Grab Car. Grab Car is the best Option to move through KL. If you arrive at KLIA 1 take the Ekspress Train to KL City Central Station and order over your App in the Smartphone a Grab Car. It takes Minutes and it's Fantastic, very cheap nice Driver. All OK. I must come back to visit KL again , it's a real nice City with nice People, great and different food. Ralf Becker

we stayed for 2 days at the hotel and im really satisfied about it. its proximity to the commercial areas is its best feature.you'll not be bored because anytime you can just walk and go to the malls. for transportation, taxi is very accessible. in going to the airport we didnt ride the blue colored one because it cost . we waited for the roving because they cost . but we got a better deal when the driver offered us instead of bringing us to kl sentral for a bus ride to the airport. train station is at the klcc mall.

This co-living style homestay is located at TOWER B of the Marc Residence. The rooms are relatively compact but comfortable. A large living area with library, Kitchen and a smoking balcony. Guests could use the Condo-facilities : 3 swimming pools and a large gym. Max Homestay do provide car park but need to check with Ms. Bethel, the very courteous and helpful caretaker of the homestay. The walk to KLCC shopping mall, KLCC convention centre, LRT station is just across the street.
