"Superb location to see spectacular pristine natural attractions. No crowds. Busuanga Bay Lodge (BBL) has a breath taking lobby and infinity pool. Rooms are fabulous only surpassed by the smiling warmth of the professional attentive staff. A truly well run guest focused facility. I read the cell and internet has been an issue with this resort in the past but good news is a new cell tower is being erected as at Oct 2018 - so no future issues for social media addicts. Do not miss BBL and it’s micro South Cay private day tripper Island with azure waters and it’s white powdered sand beach straight out of a dream. Can’t say enough about this place. Have travelled the world extensively first class and seen the rest. This is the best for the paultry money you’ll spend at BBL when others charge up to five times as much. Do yourself a favour and book this place but don’t tell too many as I won’t get in next time if everyone books. Yes - I am a genuine Australian guest. Elated as you can tell. "

"The Sanctuaria Treehouses were a delight. The staff (Machiko, Rosemarie, and Grace) were very supportive and helpful, and Brian (the owner) bent over backwards to make sure our group had a good time. We loved island hopping (our group was divided in favorites - some loved Black Island with the caving, snorkeling, and wildlife) while others preferred Calimbuyan, because of the laid-back vibe, plentiful hammocks, and the awesome caretaker, Chris. You are staying in treehouses (or a teepee, and soon a hobbit hole!) so the amenities aren't five star. Yes, you may be taking a couple bucket showers. But as one member of our party put it, by the end of the day you'll have had so much fun and be so exhausted, that that bucket shower may be the best shower you've ever taken. All in all, we enjoyed our stay so much we extended our trip by a couple days, and are really grateful to have gotten to meet so many awesome people. Our biggest disappointment: arriving before the hobbit hole was finished."

"-Perfect Nature: The scene looks amazing from the balcony and from the pavilion. It was really relaxing to stay at La Estancia. The sunset and sunrise (should go up to the top of the building) were amazing. Black island is cool. - Location: It's in the northwestern corner of Busuanga Island. Quite isolated and a perfect place for travelers who want to escape from crowd. But it's a bit far to see more popular islands like Pass Island and Coron Island etc. - OK Service: The resort fulfilled most of our requests but not very prompt at responding, unless you call them at least twice. Before we checked out we ordered lunch and had it delivered at 11am but we didn't get it until 11h20 so we just cancelled it because we had to head for the airport soon. This is the only disappointing point in this experience. "
