Stayed 3 nights in April. Arrived at Mactan, Cebu airport and took a metered cab to hotel costing about 200 Peso. Room was huge and beds were comfy. There was cable tv, bath tub and safe avail inside. Got a room on the 6th floor therefore not much view to see though. Also the aircon was a individual unit and not centralised thus allowing to control your own temperatures. Nice Swimming pool was located at the 3rd floor and there was a sauna attached in the toilet. However, sadly even during the afternoon from 12-2pm there was no sunlight and couldnt get a tanned. Breakfast has a reasonable variety of food of both international and asian fare. However, no live station around thus unable to choose your type of eggs. Only scramble was available. Location wise is perfect. Just across the road is Ayala Center and also a chimney bus interchange. Otherwise is a short 5-10 mins taxi ride to SM Mall, IT mall, Mango Sq and Waterfront Casino. However, the nearest 7-11 is about a good 10mins walk away One point to note is the hotel policy of not allowing you to joint two singles bed together (if you are thinking of saving money to book that instead ) as they can charge you 2000 peso for doing that. However, Front desk staffs were patient and at no point did they lost their cool trying their best to explain this policy to me and their best to help even though i felt that this was a ridiculous policy. Overall, 4 star hotel 3 star price. Will definetly return to stay 😃

The hotel is very accesible in most places like going to the malls to shop,taking a day tour to Bohol Island and go swimming in the beach in diff beaches in Mactan Island and very near in stores for buying pasalubong like otap,dried mangoes and dried fish like danggit and dried pusit. The prices is very cheap. The food is superb like lechon cebu.It is very delicious. You can eat it without any sauce on it.I you will eat outside the hotel you can eat in AA inihaw na isda and barbeque restaurant and Jo's chicken inasal. Go to LOft at night and hang up there besides there's a lot of places to go at night.You can try go to TOP and bring some food and drinks to eat there and so romantic to stay there. The staffs from the hotel are very accomodating and very friendly. The most I enjoyed is the casino within a hotel. I stayed there the whole night to play. In addition there is a duty free shop within the hotel to shop. Whenever i go to Cebu im always prefer Water Front Cebu HOtel.

I love this hotel. Out of all the hotels ive stayed at in Cebu, i like this one the best. let me say why: Location is great, its a stone throw away from ayala mall, the largest mall in cebu. its also a short 5 min taxi ride to mango ave/square where all the nightlife is. hotel seems brand new, price was very good (on agoda.com of course) and room was decent size. no on to complaints. my only complaint really was the noise from the wind outside. i stayed at 2 different rooms in this hotel each on one side of the building and it was the same on both sides. it is hard to describe, but sounds like a howling noise, not very loud but ifyou are light sleeper it may bother you.

I booked Bayfront at a lower price here at Agoda and just out of curiosity i tried asking the rates as a walk in and its almost twice the amount that i have paid booking here. With the amount that i have shelled out, i should say that it is one of the best values there is. The place is just like one of those five star hotels and it seems that Bayfront has been rated below as what it should be. The room is very spacious especially if you are travelling solo, internet is fast, breakfast is great. Everything there is in a hotel is here. If they could in a bath tub and a walk in closet its a suite not just any room anymore.

This is the only hotel we’ve booked which allows you to avail your complimentary breakfast from 6am to 10pm. Also, when we told the receptionist that we won’t be able to have our breakfast on the next day since we are staying in Oslob on that night, they allowed us to have our breakfast on the day that we have arrived & checked-in at the hotel! We also loved their longganisa, so Cebu! The only cons is that there is no window in our hotel room, and the lights inside are dim. But overall, it’s a good value for money. It’s just walking distance to Robinson’s Fuente, and the Mango Avenue.

perfect hotel. it has two massive pools.the food was great and the breakfast choice was superb and set out buffet style and eat as much as you want with free coffee and drinks.internet was fantastic. WI FI signal everywhere in the complex.two minute walk to the shopping mall and shops.a short taxi drive to mango square.rooms are very clean and good hot and cold showers.the gardens are amazing and there is a bridge going over a large pond with fish in it.the bar and restaurant is open 24hours with great staff. they have regular entertainment as well and we saw some great shows.i would rate this hotel as a 4 star. im so very glad i stayed here and will come back again with no doubts.melany and kylie were great bar attendants and always smiling and chatty. i was sad to leave this place but i will return.

Price: we could not believe what we saved by staying here. A well known chain hotel nearby charges twice what we paid at the Elizabeth and, having stayed there 3 months prior, we believe the Elizabeth to be the best value. The staff is outstanding! From greeting you every time when opening the doors for you to adding extra coffee in the room. Room features: very spacious room with additional furnishings, mini fridge for personal use, oversized bath, numerous bath amenities, full set of towels for 2, very comfortable king bed, A/C and heating system that is whisper quiet, large windows for plenty of daylight. The cleaning staff is very good at their job too. Everyone there is very pleasant and happy to serve you. They even clean and mop the brick driveway throughout the day! They will happily go to the street and hail a taxi for you or, if you prefer, they will call a private car to assist in your travels. The staff is outstanding! We used the restaurant only for the breakfast buffet which seemed acceptable to most, but I found few American dishes available on a daily basis though they did change some selections each day. I was accepting of this since they cater to many different cultures that travel to their city and it would be impossible to satisfy everyone every day. Also, it gave me the opportunity to try the local dishes. The bar has knowledgeable staff that know how to make drinks properly. The Hotel Elizabeth is also within a 2 block walking distance to the well known, super clean Ayala Mall. The mall is huge, with outdoor gardens and many restaurants to choose from. I personally give this place a 5 star rating for their overall cleanliness and willingness to make everyone happy. We liked it so much, that we cancelled another leg of our trip to go back to the Elizabeth to enjoy the last 4 days of our journey in a very relaxing environment. I appreciate help from Rose at checkin, and manager Xavier, for helping correct misrepresentation of room on Agoda site. The King bed room picture was actually Junior Suite, and hotel gave me King Deluxe in 20meter room. Picture on Agoda shied much larger room configuration and does not offer Junior Suite. I requested refund to take smaller room (about $11) to resolve problem of not getting room that I saw online. Manager upgraded me to Junior Suite. Beautiful spacious room with large bath, modern fixtures such as multi function shower wand /rain shower/ faucet with lots hot water, walk in closet. Clean smelling air-con. Sundries were perfunctory. Room had clean kettle, room safe, bath towel/hand towel/face cloth. Window looked out onto Mango Avenue.

After much deliberation about staying in Cebu City or Mactan Island, we finally decided to stay in the city. And Radisson Blu was ranked # 1 on a leading travel website and price was reasonable And we didn't regret it one bit. The property is located about 20-30 mins from the Mactan Airport, right next to SM Mall. Mango Avenue is about 15 mins from Radisson The property is huge with a nice front lobby. The people at front desk were extremely warm and welcoming. Check in was quick and efficient. We had requested an early check in and a higher floor. And we were given exactly that. No fuss The rooms are modern, clean and spacious. Though I wish they had a balcony. The breakfast buffet was good but had limited vegetarian options. Chef Tiwari was nice enough to make vegetarian food for us although it was not on the menu I loved some very distinct features they had. Like the one touch call feature where you pressed just one button for all your needs. No more separate calling for room service, house keeping and front desk. When we took a cab from the hotel they would hand us a card with the hotel number and cab details along with the option to mention any complaint about the driver. When we would alight from the cab the guys at the front gate would check if we dropped anything in the cab. Haven't seen such detailing anywhere else I have never seen such warm, effusive, welcoming, smiling people. I didn't hear a no for any of my requests. The people and the service is what makes this hotel what it is. Our stay everywhere else after this was a little disappointing as Radisson Blu really raised our expectations

Stay was 25 December, 2012 - 28 December 2012. I arrived at the airport around midnight and had coordinated pick up with the hotel. The price was 700 PHP which was $18($1=39 rate). Mactan airport is about 30-40 minutes away from the hotel. If you decide to take a local taxi, you will probably get charged between 300PHP - 500 PHP. When I arrived at the hotel, there was one person working the desk. I'm going to assume that this was the only person on staff because the security guard from the front helped me carry my bag up. The check in process was painless and I was asked if I wanted to pay the transportation fee up front or at the rear. I decided to pay before the driver left so that he could witness that the payment had been completed. Once I arrived at the room, I was pleasantly surprised. The room was extremely spacious and the bathroom was extremely clean. The interior was very modern and the air conditioning system was easy to use. The only issue I had with this room was the lack of a refrigerator. I was on the 3rd floor and had a problem with ants (My fault though, I left a sandwich out on a table and the little fellows, did what they do best). My package included breakfast which consisted of 3 choices: American, Filipino, and European. I had American my entire stay so I will only comment on that. My breakfast consisted of bacon, scrambled eggs, sausages, and toast. The first day my bacon was a little undercooked and I did not get any coffee. The second day, my bacon was extremely burnt and cold and had to settle for watermelon juice because they ran out of orange juice. I was however served an espresso which was extremely tasty. The last day, everything came out perfect except I was given regular coffee and they had ran out of every type of juice except for mango. The staff overall was extremely friendly and cooperative. My check out was as easy as my check in and the guards out front helped me catch a cab every time I needed one.

The hotel is new, clean & in a great location, hence the 5 star rating. It just lack basic in room facilities like microwave oven or coffee maker (only 1 of 3 rooms had a microwave oven). Also, their hotel would be great with a swimming pool. The housekeeping, cafe & kitchen staff were great too but I can't say the same about the receptionists & guard/s. Don't get me wrong, I think the receptionists tried to do their best to be good hosts but with a fully booked hotel & only 1 or 2 receptionists at a time, they couldn't fully give us their smile. What I didn't understand are the guards. They couldn't even help us unload or load our luggage to & from the car eventhough he wasn't doing anything but stand there or chat with the people waiting for the jeepney. Lastly, the bizarre experiences we had was when my son, 3 1/2 y.o, & his nanny entered the bathroom (rm.508), my son pointed at 1 corner of the bathroom & said that "lola" was there. He never does that & the nanny, although scared out of her wits, just told my son to ignore whatever it is. Then my mother in law had nightmares the whole 2 nights we were there. Her nightmares for 2 nights were the same, that a man was following her from the lobby to their room. They're in rm.505 & their door is directly in line with 1 of the elevator door. I don't know but isn't that a bad position for the doors to be directly in line with each other? 😱😱😱

Did you ever end up at a hotel where you were not greeted, not taken care of, not happy with???? Then rest assured there is no need to worry, just book a few nights at the Holiday Spa Hotel, be pampered in the day spa, have a massage, swim in the luxury lap pool, jog on the upstairs circuit, go to the comprehensive gym..... be welcomed by the best staff in Cebu.... I was , this hotel not only boasts all the above but also cleanliness, I have never stayed in a hotel that was so clean... and JUST CHECK OUT THE PRICE for a nights stay using Agoda... the best prices in town..... I thought this hotel was going to be a budget price with Budget facilities, but I was wrong about one thing, the facilities are amazing... for this price you will find no better in Cebu... Love it, I will never stay anywhere else.

Room and facilities are clean. Bed and duvet at the suite room were so comfy. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Special mention to Manong Guard who was very helpful and would always assist us with umbrellas since it was always raining during our stay. We were also able to leave our luggages after check-out enabling us to spend some time roaming around the city while waiting for our midnight flight. Loved their mango float :) Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Cebu!

I stayed at Main Hotel with my parents for about 3 days and we were very satisfied with our stay there. The Hotel receptionists were extremely friendly and helpful, they would greet us with big smiles every time we passed through the lobby, asking us how was our day or what our plans were. Especially Shelly, who gave us the most help during our stay there. She willingly helped us organize and book our trips and never left us hanging. The hotel owner was also very helpful in giving us tips on what to do in Cebu. The wifi also worked very well in the hotel, expect for one time where it dropped out, but the staff had already noticed and restarted the internet by the time we called the reception. It was relatively easy to get to main attractions from this hotel. As said Ayala Mall is nearby, and honestly if you book tours, they come to your doorstep to pick you up anyway so you don;t really have to worry about transport. The hotel is also located on a side street so you don't get all the noise. It would be best to get their business card when you're there to show the taxi drivers where it is, some didnt know where the hotel was (i'm guessing they recently had their name changed) They also have cable Tv with loads of channels The downsides: Their breakfast is PRETTY limited. They have an option between a Filipino or Western style breakfast. The western breakfast isnt all that good, i persoanlly got pretty sick of it by the third morning. pretty salty too, but i feel like in general most filipino food is salty lol. So don't expect an amazing breakfast, but still its a very good hotel. Also we ended up buying our own soap and shampoo from the convenience store cuz we didnt really like the ones that were provided. But that's just a small gripe. Overall, i wouldnt mind staying here again

One thing that sets this hotel apart is its perfect location. So strategic that you'll have no trouble at getting a ride. It is very near restaurants and the famed barbecue haven Larsians. Robinsons Fuente, Chong Hua Hospital and the Mango Avenue strip are all just a short walk away. Check in was no hassle and front desk staff were courteous and nice. The room we were billeted was nice and clean though a bit dated in some aspects. The double bed was somewhat small though and they could have provided some bedside lamps. Their buffet breakfast was definitely the highlight of my stay. It was sumptuous and delicious and a wide variety of food to choose from. And they have an omelette bar yes! I really had pleasant stay at Rajah Park Hotel. Deluxe service at a reasonable price. I'm definitely coming back!

What a truly pleasant surprise! I paid US$55/night - cheapest hotel of my entire stay and also the best! Brilliant! The Marco Polo is situated a 5 minute, 80 peso (US$1.80) ride away from Ayala and the nightlife centre of Mango, up on the hill about 40 minutes from the airport. The ambience is all 5* with a fantastic atrium and lounge. I can't fault a thing! Gym was very comprehensive, but not a muscle gym (unfortunately) with dumbells only going to 20kg, so free-weights were useless for me. Room was modern and very comfortable, batchroom newly appointed and designer with Grohe fixtures and hidden lighting. Staff were friendly as only Philippinos are and couldn't help enough. Will rebook this hotel next time in Cebu in a heartbeat

This hotel is not for holiday as cebu city has nothing much to offer. It is walking distance to mango avenue where the nightlife is but the bars ( at least on a wednesday) did not look that busy. It is a good for its location and convenience if you plan to have a city layover before heading off to other islands around the mainland. I arrived at night and left after breakfast next day for bantayan. The pool is not open till late nit so i could not use it - one of the reasons i chose the hotel as i was not expecting cebu city to offer much after a long flight.

I booked a two night's stay here (double room w/ ensuite), breakfast included. A reasonable rate for Cebu, and worth it since I booked on such short notice. Despite the name, Express Inn is less of an inn and more of a hotel. The helpful staff tells me they have only been open for less than a year, so everything was pleasantly new and very clean. My room was reasonably spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom even had a rainshower head. It is a budget hotel though, and it comes with the usual cons like having really small and cheap toiletries, and you had to hang a sign on the door of your room if you want to have it cleaned, otherwise the housekeeping wouldn't bother. Nevertheless, I'm glad a lot of comfortable and efficient budget hotels like this are becoming more popular, and Express Inn is no exception. Plus, the location was good, near a lot of cheap eateries and a walkable distance from SM. All in all, a highly recommended stay for the budget-conscious traveler.

Wellcome is a small cozy hotel located near Ayala Center Cebu. It's about 5-10 minutes walk, although you have to cross a (somewhat) highway to get there. But it's actually quite easy to cross, especially on weekends when there's not a lot of traffic. But I recommend to take a taxi going back to hotel if it's already late at night. It would only cost about 50-60 pesos. Taxis are easily available outside the hotel near the main road (Escario), and the friendly staff will gladly get a taxi for you. We got there early, around 9:30AM, and of course, our room was not available yet because it still early. So we left our bags and headed out. Since we wanted to rest after lunch, we went back to the hotel around 1:30PM. Since check-in was scheduled at 2PM, it was actually OK for us to wait. While waiting, we were given complimentary Mango juice and told us they are already preparing the room. Around 1:50PM, we were ushered to our room, and to our surprise, we were actually upgraded to a studio suite. It came with a mini kitchen! Breakfast buffet was nice. Although there were only a few options, it was OK for us. Nice, relaxing ambiance in the dining hall. Small but cozy. On our first breakfast, there was: cocktail hotdog, fried fish fillet, kimchi and garlic rice, pancake donuts, breads, green mango salad, kimchi, salad, pineapple juice, orange, watermelon, pineapple. Only the main dishes and juice changed the next day: Danggit and Chicken Adobo. All in all, we had a great stay! :) We will stay there again when we go back to Cebu.

This was the first place I found using Agoda and wasn’t sure how it all worked yet. I found a great room rate on the website so went to the hotel and attempted to check in at that price, but they informed me that I could only get that price if I booked the room “through” the website. After explaining all this, they suggested I use their business center so I could book the room at the Agoda price. I was amazed that they would do that… my taxi had just taken off and I was obviously at their mercy and could have insisted at the full rate! Then while booking my room I opted to use PayPal option for payment, and for some odd reason it wasn’t being processed. I informed the front desk about this and they said “no problem sir, you can just bring us the confirmation when it comes through”. And just when I thought everything was all said and done… they informed me that all the deluxe suits were now booked; but after a long pause… she smiled and said “we’ll just have to upgrade you to the executive suit for the night” I was completely blown away at all of this! The room was outstanding… it was CLEAN, comfortable, tastefully decorated, and if that wasn’t enough… I woke up to the best “complimentary” eggs to order breakfast I’ve ever eaten! The only “con” was the workout room, but other than that… 2 thumbs up!

I stayed here for 1 month, so I got to know this place well. The internet connection here was the biggest draw for me as my work requires it. Other hotels near this class are at least twice the price in Cebu and older. When the internet was working, I would get speeds between 20-300 kilobytes/s (bytes, not bits). They were having difficulties with their ISP while I was there at the end of my stay though, so I changed hotels. Wired connections in all the rooms, wifi only available in the lobby downstairs. Harolds is a lovely lovely place. Brand new, so new in fact that they had to make me a custom "do not disturb" door hanger because they didn't yet have them made. The rooms are luxurious, 5-star level given their condition. Bed was gorgeous and comfortable. Harolds is a business hotel - no pool, very few kids. Perfect for me. Restaurant is ok. Expensive. Right down the street is Handuraw, which came to be my favorite place to eat. Wonderful pizza there and amazingly cheap prices. Ayala mall is within walking distance, although you can take a cab or a jeep too and they have tons of food options as well as shopping. SM mall is very close as well. Harolds staff is extremely nice. All of them knew my name within a day or so and I had not introduced myself. All very professional and helpful. They will make up your room pretty much any time of the day, so if you're on an odd sleep schedule, don't worry. I've never had better cleaning staff. They organized all my bathroom stuff and everything I threw around the room and on the desk. I always came back to a perfect looking room. Do your laundry around the corner, not at Lavada Queen (expensive), but the place on the opposite side of Escario street (I don't recall the name, sorry). If I come back to Cebu and the rate is still this good, I'll definitely come here again.

This place is really very neat and cozy. The room is not that big or small, just the right space you need to breathe and relax from the busy streets of the City. I was able to stay here because i was attending a 3-day Seminar and it was a great deal for your money. Its just a walking distance to Mango Avenue and Cebu Doctors Hospital and all other places you need to go.

To start with, the entire staff at S Hotel treats you in the manner of a 5 star Hotel. They are very agreeable, attentive and kind. This includes everyone from the front desk, to the security personnel, to Housekeeping. One of the housekeeping staff named Helbert made a beautiful heart from towels on me and my fiance's bed; he decorated it with our pictures and made us feel very special. This is just another example of the kind and personal treatment you receive at this fine Hotel.The bed is king size and very comfortable. The aircon is ice cold. The linens are white and clean, the comforter is cozy. The room smells and feels like new. The bathroom is immaculate. The neighborhood is nice and there are two great barbecue restaurants, several bakery's and a 7-11 nearby. In short the stay couldn't be any better and I was made to feel like a welcome guest. I have stayed here at S Hotel many times and I always feel like I am staying at my second home. I have also stayed at luxury hotels both here in Cebu City and abroad, and although this isn't a luxury hotel, I have never received better treatment and had a more comfortable stay than I have at S hotel. Sarrosa is centrally located between SM City Cebu and Ayala Cebu! I have lived in Cebu for more than 2 years and we lived very close to Sarrosa Hotel. That's why when I had to visit the Queen city of the South again, I know I am definitely staying in Sarrosa Hotel because of its great location! Its in close proximity to the ff. main establishments of Cebu City: Ayala Cebu SM City Cebu Ayala IT Park The Gallery Landers Superstore Crossroads Cebu This hotel is located along F. Cabahug St. in Mabolo which has nearby convenience stores, Fooda supermarket, a lot of fast food chains as well as local restaurants that you wouldn't need to go to the malls as everything is nearby. The building as well as the rooms are well maintained. For its price, we really the best value for our money!

As only one of the hotel options I listed, I have accidentally pressed the "book" button for Southpole, and booking conditions said it is non-cancellable. I travelled with my senior citizen mom, and she had no complains at all. It was ALL worth it, WIFI is the best - in-room and in the lobby (best I had in most of my domestic hotel bookings) staff were really nice, room was big, breakfast was a bit so-so, location is perfect! Not to mention I had a perfect timing for their room promo.
