We stayed for one night on Saturday. Check-in and check-out were friendly and efficient. As it was my wife's birthday, I had notified the hotel who provided a complimentary cupcake and birthday card, which was a nice gesture. The hotel while almost 30 years old now is still in good condition the interior of the building with its huge open-air atrium is quite spectacular, and a nice touch are the birds they have in the atrium which fill it nicely. The Executive Deluxe room we stayed in is decent and comfortable, large in size and well maintained with a very comfortable king size bed. The balcony is very small, just big enough to walk and stand with good view of Marina Bay or the City skyline. The bathroom is clean and large with separate his and her sinks, a bathtub but the shower size can only fit one person. The breakfast buffet has a huge selection. In addition to the usual, there is also local Chinese, India, Japanese breakfast type food and we were impressed with the offers. The pool is not chlorine but mineral water based as is decent to lounge around but definitely not so impressive as other hotel pools around. There is also a gym and spa centre. The location is also convenient. The large Marina Square Mall is next door. Suntec City is a few minutes walk away as is the Marina Bay area. Within walking distance are the Esplanade and Promenade MRT stations. All in all, a good hotel to recommend for a weekend getaway if you can get a room at a decent rate.

a colleague of mine recommended i stay at the fullerton, so my husband and i booked a weekend stay here during a quick getaway to singapore. we had previously stayed at the shangri-la and marina bay sands, and really enjoyed both hotels. when we arrived at the fullerton, i was immediately impressed by the location of the hotel. it sits between marina bay (across the street from merlion park) and the singapore river / asian civilizations museum. the check in process was smooth, so we dropped our bags and walked along the river, stopping for tapas along the water. we then decided to hit the pool, which over looks the river. i've never been swimming so close to skyscrapers! it was quite peaceful. after our relaxing swim, we walked over to lau pa sat (10 min walk) for some good hawker food. then, back along the bay to see the merlion and watch the light show at marina bay sands. why am i detailing our itinerary? i couldn't believe how easily we hit the ground running in singapore. the only thing we're not close to is the shopping malls on orchard rd. we will go to the shoppes at marina bay sands instead. for the business traveler, this hotel is very close to the financial district. the ambiance and amenities are fantastic. i loved the high ceiling in my room. had a good night sleep - really good bed!

I am a local and booked this hotel to watch the National Day Fireworks. Though the staff said that I would have to pay an additional amount to upgrade for the view, they gave me a complimentary upgrade to a room which faced it. I had a fabulous view of the entire Marina Bay Area! Bed was fabulous, really comfortable. Bathroom was fabulous too, good water pressure and really wonderful bathtub. Staff respond very quickly. A bit pricey, but it is a 5 star hotel, and you get what you pay for!

Had a wonderful 5 night stay here that included New Year's eve. Fantastic hotel with 5 star service and wonderfully appointed rooms. Great location, walking distance to the Promenade MRT station which allows easy access to the rest of the city via Singapore's fantastic public transport system. Closer to the hotel there are plenty of malls and the sites of Marina Bay to explore.

Our sty at the Ritz was memorable and fitting for the occasion. I brought my girl on my business trip because she turns 7 on my departure day. Thus, decided to book a good hotel to celebrate her 7th. Likewise, my best friend with me on my trip was also celebrating her birthday a week after. Thus It was a double celebration. I informed the hotel and they happily upgraded us to a suite room. Despite some confusion in our reservations (long story) we got our rooms with terrific view of the river and all the attractions there is in front of us. Much more, the weekend was a preparatory event & drills for the up and coming national day thus we had a great show in front of us without going anywhere. My daughter totally enjoyed the spectacular view and show of the drama, jets and sky divers, fireworks & light shows, etc while enjoying dinner from room service. The hotel also gave her a birthday cake and a card on the house. Though the hotel is grand and beautiful, with superb staff, including the door man... !!!.... food was not great. Thats the only downside. I hope they improve on it. The hotel is connected to the Millennia walk and Marina Square, all are shopping complexes with everything you need. From there it connects to other parts nearby and also the MRT station. It is a huge complex of hotels and malls linked together with an underground mtr that makes it so convenient. From the front, taxi is easily available, the singapore flyer is just a 5 mins walk away. Marina bay sands is just across 10 mins by foot. In general, I would definitely recommend this hotel for its great location, great staff, great service, beautiful and large rooms with a nice river view if you book the rooms on the Marina bay view side. Security is excellent as well. Room keys are necessary to be able to make the lifts work. I was staying in Marina bay sands hotel the night before i went to fullerton bay hotel, and honestly, MBS is nothing compared to the beautiful fullerton bay! The first thing which greets you when you enter the hotel is a feeling of classy comfort. truly amazing architecture that is restored to its old yet glorious beauty. i stayed at the bay view hotel and the view was simply breath taking. it somehow reminded me of how far the island of singapore has come in just a few short decades. the morning mists upon the water is gorgous and the view of marina bay sands makes it look like its just better standing at fullerton bay looking at it rather than staying in marina bay sands hotel itself! beautiful. the most important part is, the service is flawless and amazingly excellent. Never seen staff put in such a conscious effort to make every single detail matter to increase your comfort and stay in the hotel.

Travelled from 26 to 28 July with a baby. For a family with a big pram it is very important to have a big room for stroller and baby cot. The only minus was deficit of baby bed, though we pre-ordered. We stayed during Hari Raya celebration and hotel was full of families with small kids. But twin bed was very big and we slept with our son fine. Another thing was during this holiday - breakfast demanded from one to keep half an hour queue to be seated. But in this case also we got regret letter in the room advising to cone before 9 am to avoid long waiting. In addition to that management arranged two more levels to serve guests. This shows how this hotel is customer-oriented. I liked 3 desks fir check-in that helped to avoid queueing as well. Consierges are helpful about the city. Interior is just excellent, while waiting for check-in you can relax on the ground floor and enjoy comfortable atmosphere in circle-shaped sofas and watching splendid height with lighted internal lifts. Location is excellent. 10 meters away is bus stop, 50 meters away is MTR station, hotel is linked to millenia walk, marina square, suntec city centres. Taxis are always available. Swimming pool is always in the best position: while Conrad hotel or Mandarin hotel swimming pools were either already (in the evening) or still (in the morning) in a shadow, Pan Pacific pool was in a full sun. We had panoramic view room on the 32th floor (3228). The problem was with waiting for lift at times, but during this time one could go to another corner of the corridor and enjoy either Marina Bay view (we watched fireworks for independence day rehearsal) or view Singapore flyer and Marina Bay Sands.
