"Our stay here were so special. amazing night. The room was good, the staff were friendly, and the best part about marina bay sands was the sky pool / sky park. 57 floor high (if i not mistaken), you can almost see half of Singapore from there. beautiful view, our room was also had special view, it's in front of Garden By The Bay. amazing view in the morning or even in the night. The one thing that also popular about marina bay sands is the casino, not to mention the shopping mall, so many branded items. The location itself also perfect, it's top of the bay front mrt station. however, the hotel luxurious is definitely expensive, even when you take taxi it will be charged extra, and the hotel location is around the "ERP" so taking taxi from marina bay sands will cost you more. "My friends and I booked Carlton hotel as part of our xmas staycation and celebration. We were given a free upgrade to the new premier wing. The room has as fantastic view of Marina bay and city hall area. We could see MBS and Singapore Flyer from our room. The room was also extremely spacious that can easily accommodate 8 person. Great if students are holding small scale celebration. The hotel is just next to Raffles Place Shopping Center and 1 minute away from the City Hall MRT station, 10 minutes walk from Bugis and Bras Basah MRT station. Truly assessible in the opinion of a Singaporean and definitely recommended for tourists visiting Singapore. Price was very reasonable booking through agoda at 260sgd a night given that it was xmas eve."

"This hotel is great. even if there are ongoing major renovations, it did not bother us at all. The helpful and friendly staff (Jen, Lolita, Cardijn, Daniel, Rico, Martin, Clarissa, Zack, Bryan, etc...), amazing food (really delicious), spacious enough rooms more than made up for it. The AC in my room was not as cold but everytime iwould call they would send a techinician, they also offered me to change rooms but I declined. The area (Marina Bay) is exactly what we hoped for. Very near the City Hall (Green Line) MRT station. This is important as we had our 84 y.o. Grandma with us (in a wheelchair). It also very near Marina Bay Sands and its attractions. Taking a cab is not that expensive . I will definitely come back and also tecommend this to friends travelling to SG. Thank you Grand Park City Hall Hotel for ensuring we had a wondefful vacation."

"Peninsular Excelsior Hotel - Entry confusing at first, as it appears that two former individual hotels have been incorporated into one. There are two entries at separate addresses in Coleman Street, both with lift access up to a combined fifth floor lobby. There are two accommodation towers, Peninsular overlooking Marina Bay, and Excelsior overlooking Fort Canning Park. Hotel is centrally located with close access to City Hall MRT Station, Clarke Key and Singapore River. Orchard Road, Little India and Bugis Street to the North, Marina Bay to the East, and China Town to the South. We stayed in the Excelsior Tower, fifteenth floor, in a corner room, overlooking Fort Canning Park. Room was well laid out, and compact with all facilities at hand, but tended to be let down by a decor of dark wooden panels. Bathroom appeared to have been recently upgraded, with full shower recess (no more showering in the bath), new handbasin, and toilet. Enjoyed the King size bed !! We would certainly seek out accommodation in this hotel again, when next in Singapore."
