"Extremely well located. Property is in Okaida shopping mall surrounded by so many eating options. Walking distance to Dogo Onsen and Matsuyama castle. Although the room size is small by American standards it is phenomenally well designed and efficient. The Onsen on the 13th floor is really wonderful with a complementary free beer or orange juice. A great stay in a new immaculate and modern property at a reasonable rate😍"

"My first time staying in a daiwa roynet hotel. It's slightly more expensive than other Japanese business hotel chain but I book it for the bathroom photos I saw, and it didn't disappoint! It's a real bathroom with separate shower and bathtub, not those plastic compact ensuite bathroom you normally find in low price hotel chains! If all daiwa chain hotel is like this, I can't wait to be a loyal member from now on! The location is great, right next to the tram station with easy connection to the dogo Onsen, next to main shopping street and express bus stop; a few minutes walk to the matsuyama castle entrance. Everything is convenient. Dogo Onsen is a must try experience if you enjoy Japanese hot bath in general, but I actually enjoyed the bathtub at my hotel room more! That's how much I like the bathroom!"

"It was my first time in Matsuyama and even though I didn't research a lot to find a ideally located hotel, this one happened to be neither too far from the station or Dogo onsen, while being very close to the castle and restaurants. Once you get on a bike, which is provided for free, anytime, it becomes easy to get around Matsuyama points of interest. There is also a free laundry with some chairs and tables, and a drinks vending machine, next to te hotel. The hotel itself and the room weren't as modern as those I came across in Japan, but it still was perfectly decent. I would come again for a long stay as the free laundry and bike rental were really convenient."
