"Pros: - 2 minutes walk from Chinatown MRT Station. - Can walk to other attractions such as Merlion, Tiong Bahru, ... about 15-20 minutes. - Lots of food courts (hawker centres) nearby (such as: Maxwell food centre, Chinatown Complex), especially the 1* Michelin Soya Chicken right below the hostel - must try! Cons: - Bathroom quite dirty and have to wait around 10-15 minutes to use in the morning (7.30-8.30am) - Late check in (3pm) - Breakfast: the same for everyday (fried noodles, boiled eggs, cereals, breads, coffee - that’s all)."

"This hostel is centrally located close to Chinatown and walking distance of the main highrises. The MRT is close and quick to get around. The hostel workers are friendly and helpful. The breakfast isn't as great but nothing really is comparable to a bowl of rice porridge down the street at Maxwell Food Centre only 5 mins away."

"It is few walks away from MRT Chinatown station. The place is secured, the staff are friendly and accommodating. Use of WiFi is in the entire place compared to other hostels where you can only use it in the room. It is in the heart of Chinatown so you have the best location. I will definitely recommend to all who wants a place to rest after long day of shopping or touring the city. Bring 3-pronged adaptor if you need to charge your gadgets, they sell it for $2 which should be built in the socket."

"Beary Best Hostel automatically earns rave points for being right in front of Chinatown Station Exit F. Beary good points: 1. Location - very near Chinatown Station Exit F, near the Chinatown center (temples, bazaars/markets and hawker stalls like the Maxwell Food Centre) and there are convenience stores and a McDonalds nearby. Chinatown is an ideal place to stay as a tourist because of its central location. The Downtown (blue) and North East (purple) MRT lines are indispensable courses in traversing through major destinations and interchanges. 2. Breakfast - the hostel's basic breakfast is enough to pump up your day to walk/commute about. There's free-flowing milk, coffee, tea, bread with jam & peanut butter and cereals. Water in Singapore is potable but if you still prefer bottled water, they sell it at SGD0.80 (really cheaper than stores and stalls outside). 3. Very good wifi connection - I've stayed in another hostel chain that doesn't offer free wifi so I really appreciate this :) 4. Cute, colorful and friendly vibe 5. Comfortable bed Beary Minus Points: 1. Our room's bathroom had a slightly funky, moldy smell. 2. Requirement to take off shoes at the lobby. Maybe it's just me not liking cold floors touching my feet. I opted to wear socks throughout my stay :) I'd love to stay here again! :)"

"Located near maxwell food centre, we went there for lunch and dinner every day with plenty of option. MRT is within 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel and it take only 20 minutes to get to sentosa, the major area of activities (where universal studio is located at). The room was at its best condition being perfectly tidy and clean. It was quiet and the curtain blocks the light well therefore offered us a good rest after a long day."
