We had called to check if they could provide a room with three single beds before booking and been told they could. Upon check in we found out this was not the case, not the end of the world as our room had a large comfy queen and a single but the reason why they only got 4 stars. The room was spacious, the bathroom the usual asian variety with hot water unit on the wall but a shower which inevitable gets water on the toilet- so much space in the room they could have designed the bathroom better to avoid this- but it was clean and tidy otherwise. Kettle and fridge in the room which is always handy. The pool area could be much better, its just a concrete backyard right behind reception, needs some umbrellas, better loungers and perhaps some potted plants or such to make it a retreat sort of area. Not many hotels along here have pools so they should really showcase this more. The 'Nest' on the rooftop (separate business leased from hotel but they provide the hotel breakfast from what I could tell) did yummy food, not just for breakfast. Its busy at sunset and the views are beautiful. Needs a bit more shade. They don't serve alcohol but the smoothies/mocktails are tasty if overpriced. Definitely book your room with breakfast as its only a few dollars more and breakfast is varied with egg station, yogurt, fruit, cereal, toast (good bread!) tea coffee and noodle/rice on some days. Staff were all very friendly and the views are a great way to start the morning. Overall I would stay here again as the price point for what you get is very budget friendly- we paid about $50USD a night for 3 people inc breakfast! The green thai curry on the rooftop is spicy but delicious and head down the street to Yasmin Syrian Arabic restaurant for a delicious meal. You can cut through the sunset resort opposite to get to the beach (less than 1 min)- a sun lounger for the day is 10 ringgit. You have to constantly log into the internet, it never remembers you- wifi is sufficient but not grea

It was a perfect getaway for me and my sister. We stayed at the hotel most of the time just enjoying our room and the facilities and we already feel very happy. We even want to extend our stay but sadly we have work to go back to but we do plan to come back as it has been the best hotel experience for us. The hotel is located in Pantai Cenang which is among the popular beach in Langkawi but never once we feel disturbed during our stay. It is located at one end of the beach. Not many publics came to the beach hence it was a peaceful environment for us. If you are looking for peaceful and quiet environment this will be the perfect place/hotel to go with the perfect view. This hotel was mainly occupied by honeymooners/ retired couple as they don't have family rooms. We only saw 2 kids during our stay and they don't even make that much noise. We stayed in the beachfront room which we really recommend as you will have the nicest view to wake up to. The best thing about this hotel was the staffs. The staffs from the reception staffs to the maintainance staffs are super friendly and attentive which made our stay even more wonderful. They were really kind and helpful. The hotel may not be totally perfect as it is a four star hotel but the way the staff treated you just made you feel you are staying in a 5 star hotel. The food and spa were not that fantastic but again the wonderful staffs made us forget this little imperfections. The room service food price was reasonable to us and the best thing they don't have extra 6% gst nor the 10% service charge. Overall it's been a fantastic and unforgettable stay for us. We are definitely coming back next year.

We reached White Lodge Chalet via 20 minute taxi ride from Langkawi International Airport at an affordable cost of 20 ringgit for 3 pax (paid at the airport counter).It's not a beachfront hotel so we preferred it as it's not crowded and neither noisy. Relaxing and tranquil place with its simple garden and green walkway! Service - the warmest! The reception staff are all fluent in English, tourist-friendly, very accomodating to all our queries and concerns. They immediately responded to a small electrical problem in our room; sent a technician in a snap. They even volunteered to phone a taxi cab for us to the airport upon check out. Wonderul people! Value for money - I enjoyed our 4D3N Langkawi getaway with my wife and our 8 year old son via our stay in White Lodge Chalet. Our limited budget was truly maximized and stretched with affordable rate at this chalet. We purchased our stay via online booking at agoda and despite without breakfast, we still believe every cent was worth it!

No breakfast provided but , there are plenty choices of food nearby. No kettle provided but, you can have hot/cold water at the water dispenser located right in front of the swimming pool (ask the reception). If you out for breakfast, you can purchase nasi lemak at the mini market on your left, and if you wanna go for nasi campur for lunch (malay food) there's restaurant called Janggus on your right (walk further right, located beside Rasa Senang) .. There also Janggus Ikan Bakar on your left , quite expensive if you wanna have dinner there . You can find many other choices, all you have to do is walk around first .The hotel just right in front The Zon Duty Free and Underwaterworld. ATM can be found at The Zon. Near to the beach. There are a lot of shop selling clothes, souvenirs, foods, and etc. Mc Donalds just right infront of you , located besides The Zon. Security deposit RM50 during checkin, refundable. If you wanna buy chocolates , please look around first as the chocolates at The Zon is quite expensive than many other shops nearby (please check expiry date as well). All direction is when you stand at the hotel entrance. Hope this will help.

All our tours - Island Hopping, Mangrove Kayaking, car rental to Skybridge & 7 Wells waterfall were booked by the staff and it was awesome. Only one-way airport transfer provided, so Ms Inaz offered to drop us at the airport on our last day. Room: Stayed in Room 110 - King Deluxe, it was super clean room, comfortable bed, hot shower, our favourite; natural lighted Bathroom. Housekeeping is doing a great job. Pool, Poolside cafe & Breakfast: Simple & delicious breakfast is served each morning at their poolside cafe. Limited choices on menu, but we highly recommend their delicious Soft-shell Crab Soba noodles & Beef Burger. We had a lot. Worth the price. Please stay here. It is a boutique hotel. Thumbs up! :)

Superb location as it locate in the Main Street of Cenang beach, just right in front of Underwater World. Staff very friendly and helpful especially Sara, she even help us to arrange for car booking and follow up at late evening. Hotel is still under renovation but the room are perfect, all utilities are new and room are clean. It's Great! Me and my fellow uni friend stayed in The Village Langkawi for only three nights. It already made us feel like home and missed it so much while we were leaving. It's very natural (cattle are all around and chicken woke us up every morning) and a good night view (thousands of millions stars can be seen in the sky). The hotel itself is good. The bed is very comfortable. Wifi is strong. And the host of the Hotel allowed us to use the frige. They also helped us to take care of our stuff even though we'd checked out. Five minutes' walk to Pantai Ceneng main road (which all restaurants and shops are around) and Pantai Cenang beach as well. Ten minutes to Airport. All in all, recommend The Village Langkawi to everyone!

Bike was clean & good, helmets were provided and were also very clean. They also have books you can borrow, as well as beach mats! Just make sure to return them. There is a water dispenser at the reception area where you can fill up your water bottles. Reduce plastic waste ;) - Room: The room was cosy, everything was extremely clean. All you need is provided ie. toiletries, toilet roll, extra fluffy towels, mosquito repellent plug, electric jug.Water pressure is quite low though.

I spend around 5 days, I loved this place, and Mrs Yati so lovely & friendly, care a lot and tried all the best to guide me in the island, she makes me feel like i have family there and im in home. I've met so lovely people too. The location is perfect at pantai cenang. very close to the beach, cenang mall, food stalls, restaurants, coco valley/underwater world. but for those who want a peaceful vacation,pantai cenang is not for u. as pantai cenang is quite a crowded place. we've booked a 3+1 room. from the picture provided from the web the room looked bigger but after we've arrived actually t...The location is perfect at pantai cenang. very close to the beach, cenang mall, food stalls, restaurants, coco valley/underwater world. but for those who want a peaceful vacation,pantai cenang is not for u. as pantai cenang is quite a crowded place. we've booked a 3+1 room. from the picture provided from the web the room looked bigger but after we've arrived actually the room is quite small. there is no wardrobe but they have provided the coat hangers. im not sure about the room service is upon request or not. because they didnt change our towels during our 3 nights stay at langkawi. overall is ok, as we are on budget and used the room only for sleeping.

First, WIFI very strong and only needed 1 time logg...I stayed there for 2 nights. I managed to get the private single room with ceiling fan for RM 109 from Agoda.com. Honestly, this was one of the most comfortable budget motel I had ever stayed. It had complimentary use of WIFI, mineral waters, wardrobes, power sockets, ceiling fan, bath towels and clean bathroom. First, WIFI very strong and only needed 1 time logged in. Second, bath towels-fragrance and it lasted longer. 3 power sockets were available in the room which was enough for me. But if you’re technology savvy users, I suggested you to bring your own extension charger. I liked the most it provided the place which is right outside of the room for hanging the clothes and towels. This motel really understood the needs and wants of the travellers. Further, I satisfied with the high water pressure of the showerhead in the bathroom. It took me short while to rinse the shampoo from my hairs and body. Additionally, this motel offered superb location whereby close proximity with the Chenang beach, seafood restaurants, Chenang malls and Laman Padi. Besides that, it was worth to mention that the staff was very helpful and friendly. The staff borrowed me the hair dryer without asking for deposit. Also, he offered to call the taxi if I needed it. In conclusion, there was not much to complain if you’re the budget travellers.

I was actually pleasantly surprised upon checking in to the unit last time. Not only they allowed me to check in relatively early, the process was also so easy. The room was quite spacious, very clean and looked new. All the basic needs are provided. Would definitely stay there again. Booked the hotel for a superior room with breakfast thru Agoda and went there with 2 other friends for 1 night stay. The hotel location is shown wrong in google maps and also in Waze. I don't know how to correct it though.. But the hotel location shown in Agoda is correct. The breakfast provided is so so. Not very grand nor poor. It was simple and nice. The room is secured by a touch card lock system. - Room comes with a sofa and a flat screen tv. - Very quite at night since there is no pubs or bars around there. - Friendly staffs - Walking distance to Cenang beach and Cenang road. Cons: - Road leading to the hotel is potholed and quite bad especially when it rains. - Quite difficult to locate the hotel without any signboards and directions, plus GPS (google and waze) showing different location than the actual location. - Bathroom shower pressure quite low and shower not hot enough for me. - Breakfast provided is just OK. Not grand and can be improved with more variety of choices. - No lift. Only stairs ( as far as I noticed). So, it may cause problem for anyone who have trouble climbing flight of stairs especially if they got their room on the 3rd floor.
