Find hotels in Medan Tuanku Monorail Station

I've read lots of negative reviews about the car park being far away & hard to find the way to the lobby but I found that the way to the lobby was straight forward and it wasn't far at all. Once you get the parking ticket stamped at the lobby, your parking is free throughout your stay. I stayed in an executive room on the top 19th floor with my wife and young children. What was great about the executive room was that it had an extra couch that would turn into a bed besides the double bed which gave us a comfortable sleep. The room was very clean, could see the Petronas twin towers from the room and the overall experience was great. I will definitely come back. Walk-in price is RM325 so you save 2/3 by booking through Agoda. Breakfast was ok. It's not the cheap bread and coffee type breakfast you get in budget hotels. They have a few different food to choose from. For the extra price you pay for breakfast, it's definitely worth it. The only reason I gave 2 stars for facilities is because I had no internet in the room, fridge was pretty much the same as the room temperature, and the hair dryer was broken. It seems like they don't do a lot of repairs on broken facilities. But I will still come back. The hotel room is clean and spacious. For a family with young children, or a group of 3 adults, I believe this is the best bang-for-buck room will get in KL.

The hotel though is classified 5 stars on Agoda, I think 3.5 star rating is more appropriate. It is a good hotel to be fair. Walking distance to Tuanku Medan KL monorail, that takes you to major shopping belt, Bukit Bintang within 20 minutes, provided the LRT is not delayed. Room layout is quite good. Too bad my room has a window but view is totally blocked by the brick façade. I wish hotel has a place for drinking till 3am with live music. Hotel is within walking distance to Quilt shopping mall, but this mall is very quite, only a few shops and a hypermarket Aeon were doing business. Hotel is 3 minutes walking distance to a famous western food eating house. I ordered fried rice from the hotel menu late at night at 1am, food came within 30 minutes. Not bad.

the quality hotel city centre is quite a large hotel (18 floors). room facilities are not that great but what do you need in a city, just a clean place to sleep and a safe in the room for your valuables. the breakfast in the hotel is truly good with a great selection. the hotel is not far from three stations (!), bandaraya and another one (forgot the name of one) on one of the city lines, bank negara on the komuter line to the batu caves and kl sentral and further medan tuanka monorail station is also within walking distance to bring you quickly to bukit nanas for the famous petronas twin tower and bukit bintang for shops and markets.

A bit of hiccup during check-in did not deter me from recommending this hotel to ALL. There was power failure when we checked-in but the counter staff politely apologised to us and let us into the room with the master key. The room was nice and clean. Good location esp. for those who want to do lots of shopping at SOGO, Mydin, etc. Another plus point- within walking distance to Medan Tuanku Monorail Station.

The hotel is suitably situated near the Medan Tuanku monorail station, from which you take the monorail to Berjaya and the Golden Triangle area. The room, for its price, was spacious and the bed was firm and heavenly to sleep on. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay there and they also have an excellent spa (The Rub) located next to it. Will definitely stay there again.

The Sheraton Imperial is superbly located, 50 metres from Medan Tuanku monorail station, right in the middle of the Golden Triangle. Little India is 5 minutes walk and Chinatown 10-15 minutes. The entrance and foyer are as grand as one would expect, as are the sweeping staircases and interior decoration. The rooms are more 4-star then 5, though still very comfortable and roomy. The level of service is absolutely superb - every request I made was granted, even if it was practically impossible! We asked to be switched to a room with a view of the Towers and our request was granted, on a Saturday night, and an upgrade thrown in for good measure. The breakfast is nothing short of a banquet - Western, European, Malaysian, Thai, Chinese, Indian - eat as much as you like, or as much as you can of top-class restaurant quality cuisine. Highly recommend this Hotel.

Staff. Name Gopi n partner attend us good job.... if can dont go for the new building that i been offer on my first day because the room not yet got vaccant..due i arrived early morning...we did change room the next day that they have promise..The name of the new hotel forgot...if u all can wait just wait the room u book much better.... Rooms big n nice...if i book this THotel ..i will be at THotel ...no new hotel if they offer us again..

I stayed in this hotel for two days. Overall experience was satisfying, initially we got a large bed room but the room had the heavy smoke smell, but luckily we able to change to two single bed room with better smell. The hotel do provide lift service and drinking water machine in each floor. By the way, the parking lot is quite limited near the hotel, if u r lucky enough u may get ask for reserved parking lot from hotel if there's any. Beside of that the hotel is very close to mosque, so for those light sleeper it may affect ur sleep quality in the early morning(due to praying). Hair dryer can be requested from receptionist and the worker will send to ur room. In overall, the hotel done their best to serve their customer :)) hands up for their good service!

Usually we stay in the Bukit Bintang area but decided to try somewhere different when we booked the Flora. We were pleasantly surprised by this small hotel which is less than one year old. The rooms are a good size, of simple modern design - very pleasing the the eye and we must say very comfortable. Far superior to anything of a similar p[rice ion Bukit Bintang. The place is very clean and well maintained. Sure the location is not great but it is only 5-10 minutes walk to a monorail station. Will stay again next time we are in KL.

New Hotel (Level 25 to 30) of the Menara MARA tower. Good city views. Easy access location near to 2 train stations (Bandaraya & Medan Tuanku-monorail). Passengers arriving by KTM trains from Singapore can alight at Bank Negara Interchange-Bandaraya Stn then walk passed Sogo to Premiera Hotel about 100m away. Very fast and courteous check-in to this New Apartment Hotel. Cosy and spacious room with very comfy King Bed. Bathroom with shower and long bath. Very clean room with excellent housemaids. Pantry with Bar fridge. Big wardrobe with Safe. Plain Shoppings nearby at Sogo, Maju and the Sports Goods Complex opp MARA Medan. Eateries at Sogo & Maju (food court). McDonald's & Old Town at next buildings. Major shopping attractions are in Bukit Bintang, 1-Utama, MidValley megaMalls etc. Best-Value New Cosy Apartment Hotel--------Highly recommended. Must try!! :D

It's a small hotel yeah but who needs a big one I mean as a traveller we'll spend most of our days outside. We're so happy bout the room service! Change of bedsheets and towels everyday.. Replenish tissues and coffee soaps and clean the floor! Woww! Location is nice few minutes walk to lrt and ktm train..rl rapid bus stops infront of the hotel itself near restaurants and yet a very quiet place to stay! The wifi is fast and the best thing that happened is when we needed assistance on printing my fiancé's visa the receptionist did it for us for free! I would highly recommend this hotel as it is still new and not overrated! Thanks Canary for the good stay!!!

Nice hotel in the middle of little India district. 5-10 mins to nearest LRT or monorail stations. About 20-25 min of walk to klcc park and twin towers or "Bukit Bintang" monorail station (a lot of shops and restaraunts around this place). Friendly staff, clean rooms and nice breakfasts at morning time in Zam Zam restaraunt (if you have room with breakfast). Going back in this hotel soon.

Great spacious rooms for a family with young kids. Our room was quite new. Super friendly staff. The hotel is in the Pakistanian dostrict. Lots of fabric and clothes stores around. Some delicious eateries around. Merdeka square is a walking distance. Different train stations are close by. If you go to Batu Caves a train station is 7 min away. Great value. Will stay here again.

It is good to stay for sleeping. Security situation is good as hotel is in front of the police station(box). I never expect to hotel service without sleeping. Internet is also very narrow to use but it is enough to use email. Agoda ask me about meal condition, how I can reply. I just check 3. It is covinience to take cheap food at hawkers with local people as my booking is without meal. My purpose to stay was seeing Merdeka events, specially parade. It is close to the place for Merdeka parade about 10 mimutes walk. I enjoyed Merdeka Eve with Malaysian till 1 am. I also found the cheapest shop in KL near hotel, where selling Indian products.
