"The hotel is big and have all required facilities for a diamond type of hotel. For people that really want and use such facilities, this hotel is the right hotel to stay. The breakfast and dinner are the best experience I had in this hotel. Just love the oxtail soup very much. I was told it is the best in Jakarta and quire famous too. try it, you will love it. Not so sure for the European friends though, but I know the taste is really asian taste. Nevertheless, have a sip and judge it. The selection of food in the buffet justify the price of 200K Rupiah per pax. I love the local kue and the fruits, they are fresh. The nearest tourist attraction is Monas - monumen national and the nearest mall will be a 5 min right to a place called Senen. The place call Atrium and it also has a theatre (cinema). I've been to another malled called Mangga Dua (20 min with 25K rupiah) and Blok M (25 min 30K).If you dont mind to travel to several places the hotel is ok with you. But if you are a shopaholic, I would think the best hotel would be one of the hotel in Jalan Sudirman. "

"Masha'Allah, my stay was very good. I'm an American living and working in the Middle East (Gulf of Arabia). Often times as result of work or even personal travel I stay at 5 star hotels . I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel. Guest of the groom who was getting married at grand mosque (Istiqlal mosque) stayed at this hotel. All of us were pleased with our stay there. The only hang up was our need for a good iron to iron our close for the wedding. The only iron available was an antique iron that wasn't fit to use on anyone's clothing. We ended up asking friends in Indonesia to bring us an iron from their home. Humbly suggest that hotel management invest in two (2) good irons for guest."
