"we had a lovely experience here. the rooms are pretty and the staff are just great, nice, friendly and can converse sufficiently well in english. they are very helpful. the hotel is literally across the kushiro station (which is also beside the bus station--which is important because train routes are limited and buses are necessary to travel to other sightseeing destinations) and walking distance to the recommended sightseeing spots in kushiro city (the bridge, the washo market, etc). this hotel is both nice and in a good location. just very happy to have stayed here. the only downside probably is the fact that they do no have wifi in the lobby and the pcs available for use at the lobby were not working or were quite slow when we were there. if you are not bringing a laptop, you can actually rent one, at a reasonable price."

"The hotel is just 7 mins walk from the station. There is a parking lot next to the hotel with 24 hours security (you need to pay ¥500 per day). The staff can speak English, very polite & helpful. Second floor got washing machine & dryer. The room is a standard Japan hotel but clean. Morning buffet breakfast but some items will change Everyday. I highly recommended this hotel."

"All the things that other travellers said was true but like an understatement. The breakfast was buffet and very substantial. Their measures to make up for covid situation were realistic and didnt impede on the enjoyment of the breakfast. I enjoyed the spa within the hotel. the staff were really friendly and nice and room was comfortable. It was small but it didnt matter. It did have a lot of useful gadgets in the room including an adapter to charge iphones or adroids on with a variety of connecters. I didnt need to use the shower in the room because I enjoyed using the public bath area every day. Only weak point which differs from what other people say is that I felt there was a limited amount of reasonably priced and nice places to eat nearby. this was partly due i guess to covid situation but i was disappointed. i spent a long time walking around and around trying to find somewhere to eat. the eating area seemed to mainly be izakayas and seemed similar to susukino in sapporo which i dont like because they seem mainly there for the alcohol rather than the food. I did find one nice place called benge in japanese where the food was reasonable and reasonably good tasting, staff were friendly. another good feature was the location. it is close to the station and right next to the bus terminal and bus stops to go to main tourist destinations. "

"I made my reservation quite early so i got a really good deal with breakfast. The some staff knows english which really helped in explaining all the needed facilities. They had free coffee and water! The onsen was great! They had laundry service for a fee. The location of the hotel was about 5min away from the train station, there was also a convenient store nearby. The restaurants though were quite far. We did have a day when we didn’t go anywhere, but wanted our room cleaned, so we informed the front desk that we’ll be waiting in the lobby, and they were kind enough to prioritize cleaning our room as we wait. We really appreciated that! A few things though that caught my attention.. we didn’t use the upper deck in our room, but despite having our room cleaned, the dust accumulated in the upper deck of our bed, so i guess they don’t wipe it? The breakfast was just okay, not too much of a selection and no fruits, and during a busy morning the rice ran out. I hope things improve on our next stay."
