"It is my first time in Bali and to travel solo internationally hence, booking my accomodation is very important to me. I just booked this by accident and I tried to cancel and contact via Agoda but no answer. But it's okay. I proceeded to stay here and it's a good decision. The place is very calming and if you like walking, this place is nearby good attractions. I only walk to go to Monkey Forest, Ubud Palace, Ubud Marked. I really enjoy my stay in Ubud and my stay here. Bali is a healing and calming place and holds a special place to my heart."

Location also great to go to Yoga barn, monkey forest, ubud shops and other attractions. Make sure to ask for the rice terrace view rooms when you are there. "

Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel at home and welcome. They’ll knock on your door to check you liked your room. I’ll definitely go back!"

"You know how Ubud, Bali is like? It sets the mood. It makes you peaceful. Its just close to perfection. Well, include Chili Ubud Cottage in your 'to-stay' location when in Ubud and let's just say that you would like for time to just stop. Staff - level of friendliness and attention they give is that of any Ritz. Top notch. Location - tucked in a cul-de-sac but still having Monkey Forest walkable and Monkey Forest Rd is just 5mins walk, it's ideal enough. Premise - initially thought out as a Resto, this place expanded inwards and became villas there after. It's a beautiful place where you can just look down from the Resto @ the front and just wonder your mind away - perfection with an IPad but sheer heavenly when you have an actual book. The smell of the surroundings and the smell of the book paper adding to it a mug of cold one... tell me you are not floating your mind over already? Bfast - small menu but enough to mix and match on a daily basis. Small servings but does the job till afternoon time comes. Room - big enough and spacious. Has all that it needs BUT!! Due to closeness to nature, ants abound so don't be irked. Verdict - I LOVE IT. It's great and all rounded. Everything that holiday dream accoms are. No need for infinity pool. No need for big names. No need to break the bank. Come and enjoy the blissful property that is Chili Ubud. Come and enjoy the days in the Island of Gods. "

"Bale Bali House is well located being in Ubud but not on Monkey Forest or another very toursity street. This is very nice to get away from the craziness of Ubud but close enough that you can walk to restaurants for dinner. The family at Bale Bali is very nice and helpful. The room is good, clean, though a bit cramped. Bathroom is nice as well, with hot water 24/7. While they have a scooter to rent from the house, we'd recommend asking them to arrange a scooter from nearby shops since the one they have is pretty old. It might not be apparent from booklet, but you can rent other scooters and pay a little extra (10k-20k more) for a newer scooter which really helps. Good stay overall!"

"Our stay in Sapodilla was EXCELLENT. It's literally the best hotel we've ever stayed in! The room was spacious, the bathroom was wonderful with a nice shower and a huge tub, the service was exceptional. They provide free shuttle to anywhere in Ubud area, which then you'll be given a phone to contact the driver to pick you up (bener2 dianter jemput kemana aja, even to convenience store). Strategic location (walking distance ke Monkey Forest, deket ke pasar Ubud dan tempat2 makan tp ga berisik juga). Poin plusnya lg, mereka ngga ada biaya untuk tambahan org (extra guest is free of charge) as long as we don't use the extra bed. The staffs were really really helpful and friendly, they kindly informed us that our car had a flat tire and immediately helped us to took care of it before we checked out. The manager personally thanked us for staying and along with the staffs, they send us off after making sure everything is okay. SUPER RECOMMENDED! & we will definitely come back to stay longer! Thank you :)"

"Alaya is very centrally located, which made it an ideal base for us to explore Ubud. The Sacred Monkey Forest, Ubud Palace and other attractions were within walking distance of the resort. The helpful staff were unfailingly accommodating, and were always more than happy to oblige when I requested breakfast to be delivered to my balcony so that I could dine in the comfort of my room. What really surprised me was the turn-down service every night, which we know is really rare these days. Bonus: it is just next door from The Yoga Barn so I could swing around for an early morning yoga class before starting my day!"
