"This Hotel is located on the main intersection in town, making it the most convienient location for any and all eating/activities/beach/shopping. Breakfast overlooking the beach was behaps the highlight of our stay. The get to the beach we just had a flight of stairs, the single lane (Service) road and about 20m to travel, ie between our room and the beach was a single lane road! Over the road was what I would say was the centre of all shopping, it went about 200m along the main beach road and the same distance up the road. Eating at any of the small local resturants is the best option, with service, price and selection all of a very high standard (don't be fooled by eating at only the "Tidy" looking places as you will miss the best food, service and prices). The room itself was very tidy and well serviced, nothing we can complain about at all. There was a smell which seemed to be coming up from the drain but it was so offensive to warrent a complaint. Most of the island tours leave from the main beach less than 100m from the hotel, and the long tail boats are even closer! Take time to walk down the beach in the morning to the cliffs, where the local monkeys come out for breakfast, awesome photo opportunity. Altough we only stayed 3 nights we went on several activities including a day snokelling trip to Phi Phi and surrounding island, and kayaking the mangroves and tidal caves (we only did half day but would suggest the day trip) There are several operators. "

"Couldt wait to come to Centara hotel. Read many reviews about food problems there, so where a bit sceptic. Had no stomach problems or whatever. We ate breakfast/lunsh and dinner at the resort. (Not everyday though) The Hotel where great and gave us attention from the start.
Take inn mind that you check inn 2isch... And the only what to get there with luggage is whit a shuttle boat that arrive and leave on schedule and not when you arrive from the plane. Not much flexibility there.
Had a awsome stay there and would which to stay there more. A lot of activity was fee (1hour) and the place where fantastic.
4 ways to go to town from this exotic resort:
1. "free" shuttle boat "Need to pay taxi to town 50-80B"
2. Longtail boat 150B each person and each way.
3. Walk around when its tide around 17:00
4. Walk the monkey trail.
The monkey trail where adventures to walk and was not hassel, just gave you free training. Took about 10-20 minutes to town depending on the peaople walking. Saw no problem walking there at night time.
The rooms are big...proboly depending on which you order, but our felt spacious and nice. It is an older hotel so expect some Wear and ter.
Ate breakfast the first morning on our tetras, and on cute little monkey came and we gave him a peace of bread. Should have done that. In secunds a hole bunch was there. After that we got our new breakfast ins tide.
The monkey come in the morning, have controll of your food and lock the door. If you are out there nd you dont have any food they don't do you anything. They are just hungry. Open your havnds and show them. Byt defenently dont eat breakfast outside on the terras. It was a nice and scary experiens dough. Wouldnt be with out it.

"Great location: there is a short way to Monkey Trail on the left and an exit to the main street with a food center on the right. Nice rooms. Room with view on mountain is a great option! There is parking below, but on the contrary there are no windows of the neighboring building. The staff is polite and friendly and helped us with everything. Prices for excursions are slightly lower than prices in street bureaus."

"Pros:
- great value for money
- some great design features
- staff that is polite and eager to please
- new hotel, so all facilities are new
Cons:
- new hotel, so there is still some finishing/refurbishing work being done on a daily basis + there is construction going on next door
- some staff are not familiar with the features themselves (for instance not knowing how the transparent wall to the bathroom can be dimmed), some features aren't quite finished yet (in our room the light switch next to one of the bed operated the bathroom light)
But in brief, at the moment it is a 3 star price for what is essentially a 5 star hotel that is literally 2 minutes from AoNang beach and 8-9 minutes from the long tail boat pier."

"I picked this resort for it's location and was not disappointed. It is perfectly situated for walking either direction along Ao Nang beach from the main tourist area to the west to the beach side restaurants and massage booths to the east. There is a 7-11 at the edge of the property at the vehicle entrance. Many great restaurants are also close by on 4203. My personal favorite is Cafe 8.98. Of the beach restaurants on the east end, my favorite is the Beach Club, which is the last one you encounter before reaching the shrine and the Monkey Trail to the Centara Grand Beach resort and villas. This is a nice walk by the way and worth the effort. At low tide, you can walk around the coast instead of over the mountain if you have proper shoes for water, sand, and rocks. I recommend Keen's - but also recommend taking the mountain trail instead.
The hotel is a good value if you get a discount through one of the booking services. It's just what you would expect - clean, good service, enjoyable"

"Tis is my second time staying at the same hotel. hotel well renovated n very gd to stay. Breakfast was fantastic spread. Rooms was big, bed comfortable n huge can sleep for 2 adults n 2 small children, bathroom comes wif bathtub, price affordable for sgd 230 4days 3 nights mountain view room wif breakfast promo rates n 10 mins walking distance to aonang beach. U shld stay at this area cas u cant get the price like tis for such a nice n huge rooms wif all the facilities. Been to krabi 3 times n out of all hotel tis is the best for all. U can ask hotel to book for transfer service from airport to hotel at 700 bhat n if u go to the booking counter agency near the reception to book taxi service from hotel to airport at 500 bhat. If u walk out of hotel u can see along the rd shops wif halal foos stall, massage ctr n to buy stuff for souvenir. No regrets booking tis hotel. Will definitely stay here again n tis time will bring along my whole family. "

"I booked this hotel at a last min notice as my partner and I decided to make an impromptu trip (5D4N) to Krabi. For the price that we paid we would say that BlueSotel definitely exceeded our expectations !
Pros
- The staffs here are really polite and helpful. Plus, they could speak decent English !
- Location was spot on as it’s just a few mins walk to the beach. Also, there were many nice restaurants and convenience stores located a stones throw away
- Room was really fantastic, as all of them comes with a balcony. There was a rack that allowed us to dry our clothes too. This really came in handy throughout our trip ! I would appreciate if most hotels had the rack so that people wouldn’t encounter issues when they want to hang their laundry out to dry. Basically, we had nothing much to pick on about the room given to us for our stay.
- Room service was really efficient as we didn’t have to wait long when we request for things. They cleaned up our room really well too.
- Price wise, for a last min booking I would have expected to pay a higher cost for this hotel but no ! In our opinion we felt that the deal we got was really really cheap. For a hotel like this we definitely felt that it was super value for money and we got a steal.
- Facilities wise we didn’t really get to check out much of it as most of our times were spent out of the hotel. But I must say the pool area looked quite fancy and the public washroom was really clean too.
Cons
- The only issue we had with our stay was that the water heater wasn’t really consistent. There were times when the water would transition from really hot to cold and it’s definitely not enjoyable to shower in conditions like that.
Overall, we would definitely recommend people to give this hotel a go as it checks all the box in which a traveller is looking for. It’s definitely value for money and I would advise to book this place if you’re looking for somewhere nice yet cheap to stay. Cheers ! "

"We decided to stay in panan hotel when we drive around from Monkey trail... saw that sky bridge and roof swimming pool. Found Panan on the Agoda for 1900 thb per night so we tried come to speak with reception and ask for same or better price. They ask for 2400 per night and recommend us to do booking thought the Agoda. Bit sad but this is thailand... So we saved 1000 thb for our 2 night stay.
Time for main pool is form 7 am till 7 pm and roof pool is from 7am till 11pm ! Main one could be longer!.Climbing wall could be for free and people will love it and share with world, if hotel ask for money for that nobody is using it and share with world. TIT"

"We stayed 6 nights in that hotel. It is well located in Ao Nang mid range between the beach and the mosque.
Rooms and bed are large. We changed our room (from 2410 to 4306) after first night because the road is very noisy. Any way the 2nd room in the rear building was just perfect.
The breakfast is huge and tasty. They have a deterrent price for the laundry but you can go to the Ao Nang Village Resort (20m down to the beach). The hotel can book you a join van to the airport for 150THB/pax. The personnel is very friendly.
If you book by Agoda they may want you to pay at the hotel even if it was not mentioned on either the voucher nor the site. Anyway I bet it's an issue with Agoda and Booking.
To the manager: please upgrade your WIFI. The connection is awful. You are disconnected all the time and the bandwidth is damn slow (0.3Mbps vs 35 Mbps in 4G). Come on it's almost 2018 and all facilities around got better connectivity. If you do so you'd got a 5-star rate."

"Get past the hotel frontage that also doubles up as a tourist office right on the street and you will find one of the best value for money hotels in AoNang. The staff are willing to help with anything you ask. The rooms are basic, but really clean and tidy. Breakfast is also basic but good. When we 1st arrived I didn't have a printout of the booking and were just allocated a room. Later on that afternoon I went onto the internet and printed off a copy of the booking and handed it to reception. A little while later we were asked to change rooms because they had given us a standard room when we had booked deluxe. For the extra £ or so choose a deluxe room - these are on the back of the hotel overlooking the pool instead of the street so are quieter unless you enjoy watching life go by from the balcony. We were on the top floor so had a good view but a lot of steps too."
