"This is a brand new property opened just 5 months ago. The individual bungalows are excellent and very close to Mount Batur. Splendid views of the volcanic mountain and open fields all around. The staff are extremely nice and the owner is proactively involved in every aspect making ur stay a comfortable one. Just damn beautiful. The office rooms are currently being built, so there are just the rooms , a tiny pool, a mini restaurant and open fields all around. Loved this place."

" We can highly recommend the blacklava hostel. Everything was just perfect. All staff is really kind and well prepared for taking care of you and making good experiences for every costumer. The banana pancake was awesome, so better not skip it! They also easy offer you a guide in a small group from 3 to 5 people for hiking mount batur. Also the food on the menu for lunch and dinner are tasty and fresh made. The rooms were very clean and cozy. We also had warm water for shower and a hair dryer what is good since it's getting quite chilly at night. We were also pretty surprised that the hot spring pool (which is awesome by the way) will be cleaned (all water out and new water in) every day and is hottest during afternoon. "
