"We stayed here for two nights after the long flights from the UK as it was close to the airport (10/15 mins) and we just needed somewhere to recharge our batteries before touring Myanmar. The hotel is a stunning new building (opened Sept last year) offering a true 5* experience set alongside the lake with glorious views towards Yangon. It has everything you’d wish from a luxury hotel and everything is brand new - with the rooms still sparkling new, giving the feeling as if they’ve not been used before! Superb staff, a wonderful swimming pool, great food - just could not be better. The executive floor offering well worth it - the free food on offer simple scrumptious and plentiful. Highly recommended hotel just outside Yangon."

"I chose this hotel as my departure point from Myanmar, as on the Agoda map it looked like it was close to the airport, but still convenient to a couple of places I had not yet seen. It is actually quite far from the airport and not really any easier to get to than the city itself, so next time I will stay in the city centre. Apart from that, the rooms were comfortable, staff were very freindly. Internet service is available in your room if you have a laptop at $12 per day, otherwise it will cost you $5USD to use the business centre PC, which was the most expensive I encountered in Myanmar. The pool is massive and very nice, as is the Gym ( which is a fully manned professional standard Gym...very cute Gym staff too...) Hotel is close to Gem museum and a few other spots, and about ten minutes fro Shewdagon Pagoda, with great views at night. Pity about the smokers, which is a problem in most hotels in Myanmar unfortunately. "

"Those who said Inya Lake hotel is old, do you know that it has a history of over 100 years. Those who said it is secluded, can you find another hotel in Myanmar that owns acres and acres of lands and a LAKE!. To walk one round takes 20 minutes! Gym, outdoor swimming pool, cafe and bars(not only one), what more do you need? At this price? i would definitely keep coming back and this is the only hotel i will choose to stay in Myanmar ever! love it! it is just not fair, shitty ones like 9 Mile hotel, KH hotel, or Royal Pavallion also have review points 7. Yup I have stayed at all 3. trust me, will never step a foot there again after comparing them with Inya Lake! :P"

The location is quite good with Yankin Beer Pub just opposite the hotel that provides good food and beers. The surroundings also have a lot of restaurants and hawker food. For 15 minutes walk you can go to Myanmar Plaza which is the new and largest shopping complex in Myanmar. However, the facilities are basic, but without gym and bar in the hotel.
