This hotel never failed me.. I went here over & over when i visitting singapore.. The location is gold, on the centre of singapore shopping area, just in between somerset mrt & orchard mrt (btw somerset is nearer than orchard).. The room is very new for an "aged" hotel, the design is classic & elegant, resembling the 5 stars it has.. The facility is amazing : free unlimited high speed wifi in all rooms & all hotel areas, great linen & sheets, great shower room & bathroom, nice fitness centre (although its quite far from our room, its on main building highest floor in one of the mulfi function room i think).. And the have the best hainan chicken rice in singapore (yes it is) in their chatterbox restaurant.. And the hotel is located on top of 4 storey mall , inside are restaurants, cafes, salons, boutiques, stores, etc.. The one i think need to improve is the breakfast & restaurants & cafe staff, since it a bit need improvement in how to talk to customers, and how to behave like 5-stars staff, not a 3 or 4 stars one.. But overall, once again we always have pleasure when we stayed here, and definitely will comeback again next time we visit singapore

We are so happy that we chose to spend 5 night a brand new Yotel. *The staff- Very polite caring and helpful. (the best staff we ever had in a hotel) They helped us with planning, adjusted for us the menu to our vegan twists, even cheak and printed for us information about an event in the city! *The location - Perfect location very close to ION mall and MRT station. we mostly used buses. it is nicer to see the city this way (bus stop is even closer and located in front of Thailand embassy) we also liked the hotel located on the beginning of Orchard street. it is very easy to take a bus to see all the street. Since it's a one way street you can get out each time in the stop you like. * The room - small as most rooms in Singapore hotels but designed very smart and functional! we felt like in a space-ship with cool view on the city skyline. * facilities - 10th floor is Amazing! the gym is very good and new! The restaurant is amazing with very good prices. We got a 50% discount for breakfast for choosing to eat only fruits and veges in the morning :) kitchen is open till 22:30 and we used to get nice evening vegan fruit and veges salad that was adjusted for us! We loved this modern hotel and would highly recommend it, not only for location but comfort, cleanliness, presentation and value for money. The room had a safe which was very handy. The Hotel view was excellent. It is close to Orchard Rd which is the hub and life of the shopping world of Singapore. Hotel staff were always courteous & friendly.I would buy snacks and treats from supermarkets when I visited the shopping mall to bring back to the hotel. The pool was very big, clean with sufficient lounge chairs. Included nearby was a spa. The glass enclosed gym was well equipped and air-conditioned. It overlooked the spa area but was sufficiently private from onlookers. Hotel restaurant prices were reasonable.

I booked a deluxe room (twin beds) for a health checkup trip. The building is quite old style with small room, low room height. The banquet in room is just minimal. But room is so clean and tidy. Quite comfortable. It lays at very center of Singapore where you can find some good pubs, beer clubs to hang out at night, 711 stores and many things. Happy to found out the Penang Road Open Space, and part of Butterfly trail. It's a small park just opposite of hotel, with a lot of tree and butterflies there. Surrounding with nice building.

I landed in Singapore with the first flight and got into the hotel as early as 10 AM and they let me checked in to my room, while other hotels in Singapore usually only allow me to get into my room at 2 PM. This helped me a lot to have a rest in the room a bit and refreshed myself before my meetings. The room is quite big and I can enjoy free mini bar in the room replenished daily with soft drinks, juices and mineral water. All free of charge! Very generous of them! All the staffs are very friendly and helpful. Bell Service and Concierge staffs are very helpful and work very fast on baggage handling and taxi queue. They responded immediately when I had problem logging in to the wifi connection in the room, I was planning couple of weeks before my arrival to have dinner at their Carousel Restaurant and I made reservation for the dinner online on the Carousel website. They always have waiting list for Carousel and all the food was SUPERB, fresh, and has very extensive choices, especially the seafood which I loved very much!! No wonder as Carousel Restaurant is voted as the Best Buffet Restaurant in Singapore by AsiaOne People's Choice Awards for 6 consecutive years !!! Amazing. I stayed there for 3 nights and had a last flight on my check out day. It has the best location right on the city center of Singapore and within walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and shopping malls in Orchard Road area. They let me use the Business Center for free after I checked out and enjoy free drinks there for couple of hours while waiting for my night flight. Thank you Royal Plaza on Scotts ! I will definitely come back and stay there again next time.

This is a stylish and historic five star hotel near the heart of Singapore, the Orchard road. The Orchard MRT station is within 5 ~ 7 minutes walk, and there are many shopping malls, supermarkets, restaurants, and everything you might need around you. So, the location is very good. We stayed at the Parklane split-level studio. It's in a different building, and looks a bit more dated than the main hotel block. But it provides very spacious room - enough for 4 people or even more, it you're willing to pay for the extra bed. The split level studio is well equipped with kitchen and even washing machine, which is very helpful in the hot and humid weather of Singapore. The bathroom is also very clean and spacious. Some weaknesses are there, too. The building and the room itself are a bit dated. It needs renovation, but still, it is very well equipped, and it doesn't look cheesy. The room doesn't have a good view, either. We're on level 4, but I think other rooms will be the same. So, don't expect too much about its view. The staff are very nice and helpful. I'd give five stars to them. The pools are nice, too. Don't forget to bring swimwear with you. You won't be disappointed. Overall, it was very satisfactory, and I'd love to stay there again if I travel to Singapore with my family in the future.

We stayed for 3 nights here. The location is very nice. Its 5mins walk from Dhoby Ghaut MRT station near Plaza Singapora. It has 7-11 shops available near by so u can get your break fast/snack anytime while on your way out or back to hotel. It has a neat swimming pool on roof top accessible by lift 1 only with an outstanding view of the vicinity. Recommend a panoramic photo from there. Hotel has two entrances, the other one opens towards the main Orchard Road, where you can find a number of malls like Orchard Point, Orchard Central, Ngee Ann city center, 313 Somerset, Apple Store. This road has multiple bus stops. Get yourself a 3-days Singapore Tourist Pass for unlimited trips to MRT & Public busses. Both have a/c so thats a relieve in 35C temp during the day. The hotel has a Tour Desk where as i suggest using Klook app to book at activities ranging from Universal Studio, Sentosa fun pass, Zoo, Night Safari, Gardens by the bay, bird sanctuary etc. This way you will not need to stand in ticket lines. Just book and show the online receipt to the gate keepers who will let you in :) do visit asian museum on Raffles stop, Fullerton road for Merlion. Good quality shopping is available at Bugis Junction (Bugis stop via MRT and exit towards Bugis Junction). Do not goto Little India, its very dirty and a mall there with the name of Al Mustafa Center (although cheap) but has terrible / poor quality products. You will be disappointed. Visit East Coast bay near Marina bays for a quite beach spot. Good for camping. On your way out to Airport, book a taxi via Grab Ap and it will cost you a max of $17 SGD till terminal 4 airport. Upon arrival, get a $15 SGD sim from Klook app It will give you 100GB worth 4G internet And free calls to last you easily 8-10 days even. Pick up point at Cheers store on level 2. Use mini bus to reach your hotel. It will cost you $SGD 9 per person with a travel time of 25-30mins. Booking stand is location at last level. They charge credit card and d

My wife and I frequently travel to Singapore but this was the first time we stayed at the Ascott Orchard Hotel as we were not aware the hotel could accommodate short term staying guests. We were very impressed by its sleek modern architecture, its quiet and serene environment (very different than other hotels in the Orchard area) as well as the welcome extended to us by the hotel staff who made great efforts to find us a room even though we had arrived quite early in the morning. Our Studio Executive room with a large double bed was comfortable, very well equipped with all amenities including a microwave oven and had a large bathroom with a great shower area. Also worth mentioning was the Soundbar placed below the TV, which you do not find in many hotels in Singapore. So overall, we had a great stay at the Ascott Orchard Hotel and would not hesitate to return when we visit Singapore again the the future.

although i only stayed for 2 days, it was a nice experience to stay at the grand hyatt singapore hotel. located on 30 minutes from changi international airport, the hotel was situated at the start of orchard road, the famous street in singapore for its commercial and business activities. with easy access, this hotel has the advantages to be the first place to be chosen for the night. the hotel itself was a modern style design, a characteristic of typical singaporean multi-culture. nice and spacious room design is another advantage. supported with great services, nice dining area and comfortable atmosphere, this grand hyatt singapore is definitely a perfect choice to stay in singapore.

The luxuriously-appointed features apartments comprising of one-bedroom was outstanding. Conducive for business and pleasure. It is clearly an alternative for discerning travellers looking for a change from traditional services provided by other hotels. Located right in the heart of Singapore. Guests can have easy access to the banking and financial districts and within walking distance is the city's entertainment and restaurant belt. Singapore is rich in heritage and some of the exciting cultural relics within the vicinity include Museum.

As an academic I am in Singapore for 2-3 days perhaps 4-5 times annually. Singapore is generally expensive, but there are three places I would think to stay as what I would call acceptable Singapore budget hotels. The RELC is probably my favorite, based upon location near the upper end of Orchard Road. The only thing I would really criticize there is the breakfast. Skip it in favor of Starbucks or McDonalds 300 meters away on Orchard Road. The facilities are limited to what I would call Asian three star standard, but you can go next door to the Shangrila if you need a nice upscale meeting place, etc. (burgers at the top-floor Shangrila Blu Bar are tastiest in Singapore in my opinion, if expensive). My second most favorite is the Ft Canning Lodge, a YWCA affiliate closer to the Clarke Quay and Parliament neighborhood. The breakfast is acceptable there, but the laundromat facilities are not as good as RELC. My third most favorite, a step down and which I typically only book if RELC or the Ft Canning Lodge are unavailable, are a couple of backpackers' hostels on Hong Kong Street, which have a few private rooms with shared bathroom facilities. If cost is a concern the hostel rooms are cheaper, but the trade off is that the bathroom facilities are shared (and the laundromat facilities are also below RELC or the Ft Canning Lodge). Hong Kong Street is well placed close to Boat Quay and the Parliament areas. I think there are two of the different chain hostels on Hong Kong Street, running under different names, but both have a few private rooms.

Apartments are large in size and well fitted out. Nicely finished bathrooms. Furnished with quality furniture. Location is good if your looking to shop. Plenty of options to eat at this complex. You have the option of dining at the hotels 3 restaurants which are a little expensive but comparable to the usual prices associated with fine dining in Singapore. Breakfast was included and I would say it was amazing with some much to choose from. We will be back.

The price you get is definitely a steal, considering it is located in the central part of Singapore. Albeit an old building, it is obvious that the hotel is constantly maintained. Strong aircon, clean flooring and walls, with no weird smell in the room. The room is sufficiently big, considering its budget price. Additionally, due to its central location, many eating places (be it restaurants or hawker centres) and malls are within 5-10 minutes walking distance. The only downside of the experience was that ants were crawling around in the room's table and bed, but you could request for extra cleaning from the cleaners. But hey, you shouldn't complain much for a budget hotel! Will definitely recommend this hotel for travelers who are looking are looking for an affordable accommodation in order to maximize their budget on activities and foods in Singapore instead.

Singapore Hotels are quite expensive even their Hostels so booking with Holiday Inn Express is still considered a bit expensive as compared to rates in other countries we visited. But for Singapore, the rate is alright since all bookings include breakfast (though not extensive in choices but enough to start your day) and wifi (fast and quite reliable for browsing and posting in facebook). Hotel is located in between the Somerset and Orchard MRT - parallel to Orchard Road. You just have to look for Paragon Mall and go into that street then turn to Bideford St. and you'll immediately see the hotel. It is in front of a Mosque but the sound from the Mosque does not bother you especially when you are inside the room already. Personally we preferred to use the Orchard MRT since you'll just pass through Tang's and Lucky Plaza to get to the station. We did not experience any problems in checking in and out. Quite fast and hassle free. They offer free toiletries (sanitary napkin, shaver, etc), you just have to ask from the front desk. What we love about the room is their bathroom. They used a door that can close the main toilet and also the shower. Quite hard to explain and take a picture of but something that I appreciated since it's quirky and unique. We recommend this hotel and we'll definitely go back since we love IHG and we had a very nice and hassle free experience in this branch.

Singapore hotels are never inexpensive, but once you get past that fact, Mercure Singapore is good value. The hotel is quite new and adjoins a similar Novotel Hotel in the same complex. There are 5-6 restaurant choices affiliated with the two tower complex with a range of cuisine choices. Seems a popular choice for Airlines crews (Emirates). Standard Room was quite small (typical for Singapore) but very efficient use of space. NO DESK. But wifi was v good, large lounge chair and bed allow for reasonable work space, along with lobby lounge area. Good business hotel.

i booked this hotel as a surprise overnight stay with my girl-friend. it's located in a green park in the center of singapore, and is probably one of the best places to stay at for a romantic stay. it is superb for business too, as the facilities are great. rooms are of excellent design and bright; service is great; and the buffet breakfast is unforgettable. there are two pools, one for relaxing, and the other of a very decent size for a good swim. the hotel is not cheap, but for a romantic stay in ticks all the boxes: facilities & comfort; quality of service; quality of the kitchen; location; green park for walks; and proximity to public transport and shopping streets of singapore.

happy to stay in singapore marriott hotel at ochard road. always stay at this best location hotel if i travel to singapore. i always recommended this marriott hotel to my friends. really good location for shopping and dining. pub is just around the corner. supermarket just at the basement. atm machines just in front of the hotel main entrance. taxi stand just in front of the main entrance and always priority for hotel guest. everything provided in this hotel, free wifi only available at hotel lobby but not in the room. but recent stay, they started to provide free wifi for hotel guest, unlike last time need to pay for it. really convenience for people like me, lazy to walk and everything you need it you can get it immediately. staffs are friendly and always with greetings and smiles (^~^) hotel food always slurrrrrrppppppsssss~ yummy~ of course will stay there again for my next singapore trip. keep it up!

This was our first trip to Singapore, having only transited Changi Airport in the past. The Shangi La Singapore Hotel was recommented to us by business acquaintances, and we were very happy with our experience at what we understand is Singapore's premier hotel. From the welcoming smiles of the Doorman (which never seems to diminish)and of the hostess at the entrance, to the Reception Desk staff and Porter, our introduction to the Shangi La was above expectation. Given that we arrived about 6:30PM it was decided to dine at Blu on the top floor of the Tower Wing. The service was very good, without being intrusive. The food presented was excellent with great tastes, however, we believed a little light on relative to the cost. We enjoyed meeting the chief and sharing our experiences. Breakfast was an experince, with too few days to try each of the cuisines. The gym was the first hotel gym that I had ever been in that had not only a staffed reception desk, but also has an assistant to help with the setting of equipment, to monitor attendees and provide headphones for the TV monitors. It was a very safe environment for all ages. I'm 59. In summary, we enjoyed our brief stay to the extent that we will stay there again. Now that we know the layout of the hotel, we would certainly like to try the Garden Wing and if the budet allows, stay in the Valley Wing.

This hotel place on main area of Singapore at orchard road. Room are clean, staff are helpfully.. Near the MRT station of orchard and you have to follow to ion park link to arrive to this hotel. Very nice stay and We will back to this hotel next time when we are going to singapore. We got good personality service from officer, he is name is Marchenko from Ukraine. He give us early check in for benefit, because this is our first time going to Singapore and give Us member as hilton of the world from hilton singapore. In loby you can get free wifi service. Very recommended Hotel.

Previously stayed at many different Singapore Hotels but this was a first time stay at this hotel. Reception was smooth and efficient. Staff expected us and knew our names. Room was spacious, well equipped, clean and very comfortable. Room service was prompt. Fresh towels were provided without the usual practice of having to leave wet/used towels on the bathroom floor plus clean sheets were provided each day. Regency Club Staff knew guests by name and offered a wide choice for breakfast and evening drinks and canapes. We dined one evening in their Basilico Italian Restuarant. First course was a buffet selection with main course selected from an a la carte menu. Quality of food and presentation was high and Staff were very attentive. The meal plus wine cost was high but acceptably so given the quality and choice of food. The Bar proved to be an ideal place to meet our friends in Singapore, easily accessible and welcoming. Staff were attentive to the point of keeping the bar open past closing time. Check Out was easy and smooth although the Concierge had no record of the Airport Taxi ordered by the Club Receptionist. Concierge soon found a taxi to take us to the airport. We will certainly stay at the Regent Four Seasons again.

Love this hotel, will definitely recommended to others! Fab location, close to everything we need to go to and it was our first visit to singapore. Hotel is clean and modern - love the outdoor shower area! Also we had a reading room with a very nice garden view. Service was 5 star - all the staffs there made us felt very welcome and helpful! We enjoyed the kaya toast breakfast which was 7 mins walk from the hotel but it's definitely worth it - we saw a lot of locals eat there too!

Arriving at the hotel with raging toothache was not how we planned our weekend in Singapore. However the ever helpful Apple found me a dentist close to the hotel and in a couple of hours all was well. We were upgraded to a huge room, the extra investment to go Club was well worth it. If there was an area for improvement, it would be the restaurant breakfast. The whole space needs to be reorganised to provide an efficient buffet experience, the range of food items needs to be reviewed and the service let down the rest of the hotel. We did the Club breakfast the second day and wished we had not bothered with the restaurant. Parts of the hotel lobby and pool area do look like a throwback from a Mexican Spanish style and the rooms do have a faded charm but provide everything you need. Similar to all Singapore hotels there is very limited choice on TV. The location is fantastic - taxis get in easily without having to fight the whole of Orchard Road and it is 5 mins from the MRT and the main shops.
