We are so happy that we chose to spend 5 night a brand new Yotel. *The staff- Very polite caring and helpful. (the best staff we ever had in a hotel) They helped us with planning, adjusted for us the menu to our vegan twists, even cheak and printed for us information about an event in the city! *The location - Perfect location very close to ION mall and MRT station. we mostly used buses. it is nicer to see the city this way (bus stop is even closer and located in front of Thailand embassy) we also liked the hotel located on the beginning of Orchard street. it is very easy to take a bus to see all the street. Since it's a one way street you can get out each time in the stop you like. * The room - small as most rooms in Singapore hotels but designed very smart and functional! we felt like in a space-ship with cool view on the city skyline. * facilities - 10th floor is Amazing! the gym is very good and new! The restaurant is amazing with very good prices. We got a 50% discount for breakfast for choosing to eat only fruits and veges in the morning :) kitchen is open till 22:30 and we used to get nice evening vegan fruit and veges salad that was adjusted for us! Visiting Singapore for the first time in several years and found York Hotel well located for all our needs. It's between 13 and 17 minutes walk from Orchard and Somerset MRT respectively. The hotel restaurant serves excellent local food with the option of food courts in shopping centres on Orchard Road or a 17 min walk to Newton Food Centre of Scotts Road. Taxis are easy to come by and a number of buses along Orchard Road. The room itself is clean and well maintained with staff polite and attentive. Facilities are good with everything a traveler needs. Cupboard could do with a few more coat hangers but this was quickly resolved by the staff. We liked it so much we booked a few more nights and will return to stay on our next visit.

The hotel is conveniently located within 3 bus stops, 2 MRT stations, and of course Orchard Road, thus saving you a lot of time going around Singapore. There's also a cheap food court right across. Booked a triple room with 3 single beds, room looked newly renovated though the building was old. The room was kept clean and towels were changed. A water dispenser was provided which saved us money though the cold water comes out in room temperature. Staff were friendly and allowed us to leave our luggage after checkout so we can roam around before our flight. Will love to stay again.

As a family of three (two adults and one 7 year old) we wanted a hotel of quality at a reasonable price in a convenient location. We found all that and more at the Concorde Hotel Singapore – perfect for our quick Singapore business+leisure trip. Located at the "lower" end of Orchard Road, the hotel is spacious and fashionably renovated. Large open atrium lobby (with internal glass lifts) gives spacious feel. The service was exemplary from check-in/out; the concierge desk was efficient and friendly, and the Premier Lounge staff were great. Pay the extra few $$ and book a Premier Room – you'll get access to the Premier Lounge – breakfast, all day coffee/tea/snacks, evening drinks, speedy check-in/out and the Premier Rooms are more top floor, spacious and beautifully decorated. Despite no "view", the location makes up for it. Located above a shopping mall (everything from shoes to a food-hall/hawkers stands), the Concorde is an easy one block walk to Dhouby Ghaut MRT station, with taxis at the front door. Five mins walk up Orchard Rd and you're in the thick of shopping & fod heaven – from typical hawkers stands to 5 star gourmet dining. The Tour Desk in the lobby is linked to one of the large local travel companies - the staff are helpful and efficient and you can buy tickets to attractions (e.g. Singapore Zoo, Universal Studios etc) cheaper than at the destinations themselves. The free Universal Studios shuttle bus stops at the hotel on the half hour, and the Singapore Attractions Express Bus will cost you only $S5 (adult) each way to the zoo ... sure beats the cab fare. The hotel's restaurant is first class (and very reasonably priced) - popular with local diners as well as hotel guests. All in all - a great Singapore hotel option!!

i choose this hotel mainly because its location – nearby orchid road and close to mrt station. just 5 minutes by walk you can arrive at ion and ngee ann city. for the ones who like to go shopping, i doubt there’s better option with lower price. just across the street you can find a food court in far east plaza, where you can find various choice of food which provides you an economical choice if you do not want to spend too much in a fancy restaurant every night. moreover, i find its service is one of best among all the hotels i had even been in 20 countries. i am not just talking about free mini bar – although it helps as well – the most impressive thing is how touching the staff could be, especially the ones rom concierge. i definitely would choose royal plaza on scotts again if the budget allows; after all, their service is something you can hardly find in any other hotel in the world. i sincerely hope that agoda can try to make its own service close to the level of royal plaza on scotts, and maybe agoda should send someone over there to benchmark it. in terms of hardware, it is not the best hotel in town; for example, i would prefer the hotels with better swimming pool and gym. nonetheless, i truthfully thank all the hotel staff for giving me a unique experience in staying here.

We stayed for 3 nights here. The location is very nice. Its 5mins walk from Dhoby Ghaut MRT station near Plaza Singapora. It has 7-11 shops available near by so u can get your break fast/snack anytime while on your way out or back to hotel. It has a neat swimming pool on roof top accessible by lift 1 only with an outstanding view of the vicinity. Recommend a panoramic photo from there. Hotel has two entrances, the other one opens towards the main Orchard Road, where you can find a number of malls like Orchard Point, Orchard Central, Ngee Ann city center, 313 Somerset, Apple Store. This road has multiple bus stops. Get yourself a 3-days Singapore Tourist Pass for unlimited trips to MRT & Public busses. Both have a/c so thats a relieve in 35C temp during the day. The hotel has a Tour Desk where as i suggest using Klook app to book at activities ranging from Universal Studio, Sentosa fun pass, Zoo, Night Safari, Gardens by the bay, bird sanctuary etc. This way you will not need to stand in ticket lines. Just book and show the online receipt to the gate keepers who will let you in :) do visit asian museum on Raffles stop, Fullerton road for Merlion. Good quality shopping is available at Bugis Junction (Bugis stop via MRT and exit towards Bugis Junction). Do not goto Little India, its very dirty and a mall there with the name of Al Mustafa Center (although cheap) but has terrible / poor quality products. You will be disappointed. Visit East Coast bay near Marina bays for a quite beach spot. Good for camping. On your way out to Airport, book a taxi via Grab Ap and it will cost you a max of $17 SGD till terminal 4 airport. Upon arrival, get a $15 SGD sim from Klook app It will give you 100GB worth 4G internet And free calls to last you easily 8-10 days even. Pick up point at Cheers store on level 2. Use mini bus to reach your hotel. It will cost you $SGD 9 per person with a travel time of 25-30mins. Booking stand is location at last level. They charge credit card and d

The service was great, the staff is more than keen yo help you. The hotel as well is beautiful. We stayed at the executive studio and even that we found it exclusively luxurious. The location is the best part. The hotel has linked bridge yo the paragon mall, than just a few metres from the mall you can access the orchard mrt station. The hotel provide you with a handphone which is so handy and you can bring it anywhere, just making sure to return back before checking out.

The staff actually rang our doorbell and ask whether we are satisfied with our room and asked whether we have any other assistance needed which is very good. The smoking room does not have balcony or anything which makes the room smells like smoke in fact, the whole lobby has the smell. People who's allergic should never live in that "building". It is really really near to the MRT station, restaurant and also the Far East Shopping Centre! :)

We stayed for a week and found this to be a great location in the Orchard precinct. Close to all the shops, with Orchard MRT station a short walk from the hotel. An abundance of food choices at excellent prices. So many food halls nearby. Pool and gym facilities are great. But the best thing is to use the hotel as a staging point to visit all the attractions of Singapore. There is a full supermarket and an Irish pub in the basement of Claymore Connect which can be accessed without leaving the building. (Great when raining. ) Clarke Quay is a short drive down the road. All up this was a high quality place to stay at an excellent price.

At the first glance this hotel may seem remote, but actually it's only about 15 minutes walk from central of orchard, not a bad thing though, compared to shangrila which located only about 200m from RELC but with much more pricey. The cleanliness and comformity are quite excellent with some minor plus points such as fast elevator and clean terrace. However, there's only one thing that bother me which the AC in our room (no. 1010) is quite noisy although it doesn't affect the coldness level. Location is good, walking distance to Orchard Road and MRT station. Free washing and dryer machine are available. Breakfast in Shangri-la hotel. The breakfast have many choice and delicious. The room is big and comfort. But the decoration and facilities are too old. It's time for renovation, e.g. Electricity supply from the socket is not stable, the temperature of shower water keep going down, steam room is not working, no daily replenishment of shampoo and shower gel etc.

Location is perfect. Cheapest option around Orchard road, with spacious rooms, bathtub, even breakfast! - almost unbelievable according to Singapore's costly and small room standard. Movement is very easy as bus and MRT stations are nearby. We also have stayed in other hotels around 100$ per night, no one was even close to this hotel for price-value. Definitely recommending to those looking for cheap yet good hotels.

Stayed with the Holiday Inn Express Orchard Road for 5 days (21-25 August 2014)during my recent Singapore vacation. The hotel is a short 5 minute walk (or less) to Somerset MRT station. The hotel is quite new. The room we stayed in was not so big and there is very limited TV channel options (who watches TV anyway while on vacation) so its no biggie. Water pressure is strong and the internet was fast. Breakfast could improve though. Its basically the same option everyday. But the food was good enough to kick start your day. Staff are uber friendly and accommodating. Great service. Fast check-in and check-out (we were allowed to check-in early) :) The soft and firm pillows options made me sleep rather comfortably during my stay.

We had a good stay at Hotel fort canning. The hotel self is surrounded by a park, which makes you feel a little bit outside of everything which is good, however it is very centrally located and very close to the MRT station Dhoby Gaut, and the nice shopping mall Plaza Singapura where you can Eat a lot of nice food, although not fancy but more western fast food that they dont have in other southeast Asian countries. The staff was very proffessional and kinda stiff, but stll very friendly, they are doing their job. Although when we checked out we had to remind them that we had to get out deposit money back. Kind of an awkward situation, since the receptionist cleraly wanted to be done checking us out so we had to notify him that we would like t have our 100 sgd back. The room service food was not good, pricy, as it is in Singapore we wold think that the qualtiy of room service in a 5 star hotel would be really good, but no. Overall we had a good stay and might come back to stay there.

our stay with marriot hotel was very nice & pleasant. great location at the corner of orchard & scotts road and right besides famous shopping malls at orchard. hotel staff were very friendly and courteous. i expected no less from marriot and i wasn't disappointed. there's no problem in looking for restaurants, fastfood chains, electronic shops and even money changer. the hotel was also beside an mrt station, so going around singapore through subway was easy.

i only stayed for a night with my friends (there was 3 of us), but my overall experience was definitely 5/5. we arrived early in singapore and got an early check-in which totally helped because we weren't planning to stay in the city center to wait for 2pm. when we got into our hotel room, everything was neat, there was extra towels and overall, a really great room for the cheap price we paid for it. we even found an extra pillow which was a great bonus. location, location, location! that is definitely the best part about this hotel. it was so close to orchard and even the somerset mrt station. we didn't get breakfast with our room, so waking up in the morning to get some food was way easy. we're already planning for another trip to singapore and have already decided to stay at this hotel again. i would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good stay in singapore!

We had a lovely four night stay. The service as always was first class. Breakfast at the line restaurant is a family favourite. Also a nice pool area for the kids, this is not always the case for inner city hotels. This hotel is not near the shopping malls or mrt station. It is maybe a ten minute walk down to Orchard road. The hotel does provide a shuttle to one of the bigger shopping malls, but we only found this out the day we left.

This hotel place on main area of Singapore at orchard road. Room are clean, staff are helpfully.. Near the MRT station of orchard and you have to follow to ion park link to arrive to this hotel. Very nice stay and We will back to this hotel next time when we are going to singapore. We got good personality service from officer, he is name is Marchenko from Ukraine. He give us early check in for benefit, because this is our first time going to Singapore and give Us member as hilton of the world from hilton singapore. In loby you can get free wifi service. Very recommended Hotel.

Everything at The St Regis Singapore is perfect! It was a good breezy walk to the hotel from the Orchard MRT. It started off with wonderful receptionist (chinese male, wear specs) who gave us free upgrade to a twin room at a higher level! =) Not only that, there was complimentary fruit platter and birthday cake for all of us! =) The beds are comfortable and the TV has many channels. And there is a pillow menu. Their body pillow is amazingly comfortable! :) Please get them! But limited numbers. Only issue is their DVD library isn't that complete and the popular animation ones are usually snapped up fast. So either bring your own, or chope them quick. Wilbur, our personal butler, was all smiles when introducing the room stuffs to us. 6pm everyday, there is an art tour. The senior butler Prasad is quite interesting and very unassuming. His knowledge is good and he is very nice to help us take pictures. We had dinner at Brasserie Les Saveurs, taking their Semi-buffet dinner. Their Prime Rib is MAGNIFICENT! And if you are not a fan of medium rare, they can recook abit more for you as well. Wonderful service! Their semi buffet spread is really good!!!!!! Just try it urself! Breakfast spread is one of the best I have ever seen. And they have a special order menu for lobster omelette. Don't leave it out! Of course with their wonderful service, they extended checkout time to 2pm for us. All in all, nothing to complain, a MUST STAY!

My kids and I love this hotel. The staff were courteous, assisting us in all our needs from check in to check out. The rooms were clean and I love the complimentary toiletries  L’Occitane  The complimentary internet provided extra convenience as well - from communicating with my husband back home to surfing the net for Singapore maps, MRT routes and bus stops – all without the extra cost! We loved the welcome snacks they prepared inside our room! Gingerbread cookies, bucket of popcorn, strawberry milk and sparkling juices! My kids were delighted! They were so surprised when we arrived at our room after a long day of sightseeing. Orchard Road was walking distance as well. For some it was a 5-minute walk but with three kids in tow, it felt like a 10-15 minute walk! But it was sure well worth the adventure so my kids didn’t mind at all. We took the MRT stationed at ION – which was supposedly the nearest station. For emergency stuff, Tanglin Mall/Place was just beside the hotel. They had a grocery and pharmacy. The shops there were more of specialty shop though – I thought they were kind of pricey and not much to see and buy. So many good memories. My kids and I will definitely stay in this hotel when we visit Singapore again. The way my kids are raving about the place, I guess it won’t be long…

Lloyd's Inn is definitely a perfect getaway for couples looking to spend some time with their loved ones in a quiet and peaceful environment. The hotel is predominantly coloured in black and white, giving us the classic and chic feel and at the same time, coupled with patches of greenery which makes us feel close to nature. It also had a small dipping pool that complement the overall aesthetic of the hotel. It is strategically located between Somerset and Dhoby Ghaut MRT stations, both approximately 10 minutes walk from Lloyd's Inn, which houses well-known shopping places like 313 Somerset and Plaza Singapura and also, many restaurants and cafes for both locals and tourists, ranging from normal coffeeshop to high end delicacies. My girlfriend and I were given a complimentary upgrade to The Patio room, and were taken aback by their generosity. The room was much larger than expected and even had an outdoor bathroom (don't worry, it's covered from outside view). The bed was neither too soft nor too hard, and provided us with a good night sleep. We were initially concerned about insects mentioned in some reviews, but didn't faced any during our stay. As for breakfast, we were given complimentary tickets and chose Killiney Kopitiam (Kaya/French Toast with Soft-Boiled Egg and Coffee/Tea) over Freshly Baked (American Breakfast with $7 top-up). All in all, we love how detailed the room was designed and it really made us, as Singaporeans, feel that we are overseas! A shoutout to all their staffs for making our 3rd year anniversary a memorable and unforgettable one. Will definitely visit again!

Very friendly and welcoming staff team, every single person greeted us at all times even when we ran across them in the parking lot. We were shown around the property when we arrived and got to see all facilities. Breakfast was nice, always refilled with fresh fruit, toast etc. Free coffee 24 hours from machine in lobby. Nice gym area, open 24 hours. very nice pool area with plenty of shade and free pool towels. We booked a one room apartment which was very sufficient for one week, but had of course some minor limitations, such as only one comfy chair for 2 people (plus two kitchen chairs). No electrical outlet in the bathroom, so you must blowdry your hair in livingroom with no mirror. very convenient to have our own washing machine in the bathroom. a foldable hanging rack for clothes would have been perfect to have. upon arrival, basic set of groceries is provided, very convenient. plenty of supermarkets nearby, lookout for cold storage or fairprice shops. fresh drinking water provided daily and additionally upon request by reception. no housekeeping on weekends, but we were told we could ask for fresh towels from reception those days too. Residence location is off Orchard Rd on a side street, you can cross through to Scotts Plaza Hotel lobby via carpark. Orchard MRT station must be reached via underpass through 2 malls, which can be a bit tiring at times. would come again, mostly for friendly staff and great pool area.

I think what clinched the stay for me and my friend is the buffet breakfast. The spread was relatively simple but had enough variety to cater to preferences, whether Asian, continental or American. The food was also well prepared. I love the soft and fluffy French toast. They were not greasy. So, the complimentary breakfast buffet capped a lovely stay. Don't get me wrong - this is budget but well-apportioned budget. The double room is not as small as another place I've stayed in. It is also well equipped and comes with a mini fridge, hair dryer and even a safe. Location is also good to the nearest MRT station. Come to think of it, it was also quiet. Maybe that's because ours was a windowless room which is fine for one night. I'd come back.

Best place to check in, few steps away at Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station and Bus Stations. Just across the park mall building beside Fort Canning Lodge, there is a short cut going to establishments, bus station and dhoby ghaut mrt station. Agoda, kindly include this info on your site or app that Fort Canning Lodge has a Free Wifi in every room, I thought there was no wifi. Very convenient.. To all pinoys out there this is value for money. From Changi Airport Terminal 2 to the Hotel I rode a Chrysler Taxi, I paid $35.. Just want to experience that kind of taxi ☺️. I think the ordinary taxi much cheaper than this. Enjoy everyone.. God Bless us all. Always pray wherever you go.

The hotel is very near from orchard MRT station, it only takes 5 minutes walk from the hotel to the station. If you wanna take, the bus station is just in front of the hotel. So you can go everywhere easily. There are many restaurants, shops along the street near the hotel. One of the best things from this hotel is their services. They even provided us an early check-in because we arrived there at 9 in the morning. So, beside getting a warmth welcome, we also had a great lunch at black angus restaurant inside the hotel. Just Fantastic !
