I cannot speak highly enough about the service I experienced in the hotel! Believe it or not I very rarely write reviews but felt obligated to in this case! From the moment I walked in everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I stayed for 4 days and can honestly say this hotel is well on its way to at least 4 stars! I rarely write reviews but all of the staff are committed to doing their absolute best from the front desk to the spa staff and my sweet cleaning lady. The hotel is still under construction which was a bit of a bummer, but despite this the actual facilities are very relaxing and well designed. The view on the roof is spectacular especially at night. Despite all the pros of this hotel I do have some areas of constructive feedback in the interest of helping to make it the best it can be: please put a fan or air con in the gym!! It’s a smaller space (still sufficient) but it gets very hot in there! Also, please add hooks to the bathroom in the lobby!

A&em Art hotel exceeded my expectations. To me it”s room, bed, pillow quality & staffs are on par with Hilton. The location of the hotel is very convenient situated walking distance from ben Thanh market. Front desk receptionist Ms Bich Phuong & bellboy Mr Tan are very friendly & helpful. I stayed here, moved out to District 1 Japanese street middle of my trip then moved back again to this hotel end of my trip. There is welcome drinks & nice breakfast.

got the top floor which is nice and comfortable.has weird stink but once a/c is on it's bearable.bathroom has jacuzzi which is surprising for this kinda hotel.be careful of hot water from shower heard, comes in spurts where its too hot so need to figure out the knobs for a while. staff is courteous. can hear the traffic but its muted at the top floor.close to massage parlors(with ladies calling out for you to have massage) down the street filled japanese themed restaurants as this street is sort of like little tokyo i guess. what is impressive wifi is free and it's 50Mbps at least up and down. no gym though but this is defintiely a value of rmoney hotel.in summary 3star hotel with 4 star bedroom(on the 8th floor) and 5 star bathroom(with jacuzzi) . it was the priciest room but hey you get big windows to look out and doesn't feel claustrophobic.

My husband and I stayed at this property for 5 nights for his birthday . I would like to admit that by far this has been my best hospitality experience. I love to travel and have been to some luxury five star chains but hotel nikko experience is unparallel. We stayed at the 23 floor in the king club room . The room is spacious and the decor is modern and chic. They provide a turndown service and the housekeeping staff is well trained to add small touches when they clean the room( for example keeping shoes in one line) , it feels home when you come back to room after sightseeing. The breakfast is ellaborate and what is more interesting is that they change few dishes ( including the local ones) on a frequent basis so if you stay like us for more than a night, it will be a sigh of relief for your taste buds to try something new. Staff are well trained and willing to assist. Our best experience was with nikko club lounge( situated on 23 floor) where the views over the city are spectacular and the staff is extremely courteous and efficient including all the trainees who made us feel very special. I would recommend to book a room that has a lounge access , every extra dime you will pay is totally worth it. The staff in the nikko club lounge are so well trained and know how to deliver the first class standard of service. They also helped me arranging a cake for my husband and help me arrange a surprise for him. The hotel is truly a gem in district 1 of ho chi minh! It is slightly away from the touristic madness of city but if you fancy something wild the backpacker's street ( bui vien) is walking distance from the hotel. The other landmarks( cathedral, post office etc) are also not too far and you can order a grab for quite cheap rate. The hotel is definitely on the high-end, however, it can be quite noisy from surrounding festivities downstairs on Nguyen Hue and certain open roof bars. I would imagine it's more peaceful during the off season. As for my stay, unfortunately, there was a soccer celebration outside, so it was quite noisy that lasted way into the late night. Noticeably there was an open roof bar, "Broma Not A Bar", nearby that was playing really obnoxious bass heavy techno music during this time. On 3 occasions, this bar started playing their loud music starting at 5 am in the morning. Needless to say, I wasn't very happy. As for the quality of the room, it's fairly good quality and new. My one gripe is the placement of a TV case that pretty much block a nice view. I would suggest they wall mount their TV's and get rid of that case. The view was spectacular though, but the noise downstairs put a damper on the experience if you're not a deep sleeper.

Reviewers should not expect Saigon five star hotels to mirror what is considered five star in Hong Kong. The Hyatt is probably the only hotel in superior to this hotel but then expect to pay three time the price. In light of the above, we have some very positive comments on this hotel. The breakfast was very busy and even better the efficiency of the staff meant , never needed to queue. The service was very good, the poached eggs were as good as anywhere else in the world. They had good range of Asian and European dishes. It is not often you get roasted pork/ham for breakfast We stayed in two rooms for three nights. The hotel is very safe, very clean and the staff are courteous, all of whom could understand our English. The beds were comfortable (bedding arrangement). Room service was quick (15-20 min), and unlike other reviewers, the pho arrived hot. You could not find a more central location as it boarders the intersection of the Saigon CBD's two main streets. Some more general comments for prospective visitors: the pool water in Saigon is fairly cold at this time of the year It;s cheaper to taxi to the airport (USD$6) but you must prepare 40 minutes travelling time due to large number of motorcycles.

The staff were well trained and very friendly. You could tell they took pride in their hotel and being a new facility, the hotel was spotless. The rooms are well designed (contemporary style, cool lines, fashionable decor) that won't cater to the those travels that prefer a more classical traditional aesthetic. There's a small multi-screen cinema on the 2nd flr, and a well-run restaurant on the 3rd flr where I had breakfast, overlooking Pasteur St. The rooftop pool and cabanas offer a great view of Saigon (HCMC) and there's a well facilitated spa/gym one flr below the pool. I loved the location being around the corner from City Hall, Opera House, Dong Khoi Street (the main shopping street), the former Presidential Palace and the War Remnants Museum. Ben Thanh market is 4 blocks away. There's current construction (finishing April?) along Nguyen Hue, but when finished, should be a beautiful pedestrian mall running between City Hall and the river. It's all nearby and the room rates are good value.

Everything is perfect expect the swimming pool.It's a bit small.The hotel is situated in district 1.There are lots of restaurants and shopping malls nearby.We can go to the biggest walking street Nguyen hue on foot.It's 7 kilometers from the airport.The room is quite clean and sufficient big.It's on the small road.It's a bit difficult to find the hotel.Anyway,I like it.If I come to hcm next time,I will be here once again

It was my first visit to HCMC. Was very pleased with my 4D3N hotel stay in Eden Saigon. Here's some plus and minus points about this hotel. Plus points 1) Centrally located About 5-10 mins cab rides to the major attractions, walking takes about 15-20 mins. Then again, can rides are very cheap there. Just pray that you don't meet the scammers cab driver. 2) Awesome breakfast buffet spread If you can, get the package with the breakfast buffet. It was super yummy! Probably one of the better meals I had at HCMC. 3) Friendly staff Staff are very attentive and friendly. Makes you feel at home in the foreign land. Will help you with the cab drivers and generally know the places you wanna go. 4) Tour desk They have a tour desk at the hotel, which you can book it one day before to places like Mekong river and Cu Chi Tunnels. Convenient as you don't need to approach other travel tours in the city. 5) Clean room Stayed in premium deluxe room (room 807). It was generally clean when we first check-in. Minus points 1) Lift Was surprised to see that one can access to different levels without the need to scan/tap the room keys. Most of the hotels I went to have this feature. Not a big deal but it would help to give us an added sense of security. 2) Clean-up service The clean-up was generally okay, but was pretty annoyed when the cups are not washed for two days. It would be better if the used cups are washed. 3) Limited food store in the area Not much food area in my opinion. The decent ones are Trung Nguyen coffee store and a convenience store opposite the hotel. Other than that, nothing much. In general, i enjoyed my stayed in this hotel. Would recommended it to others if they are going to HCMC!

The room is big and clean. The beds are comfy enough and there's plenty of space in the bathroom. Breakfast was nice with a variety of dishes (both western and eastern). They have a fresh eggs station and you can soup noodles too which are made on the spot. Staff are friendly and very helpful. They speak plenty English. We had a little problem with payment but it was our fault because we thought we had already paid for something we hadn't. They did their best explaining what had happened. It's in district 1 of Saigon, though perhaps a bit far from the backpacker street. There are plenty of eats around nevertheless. We liked staying here.

our family stayed in two rooms (deluxe with view as we booked it) on the level 8 for four nights. the room is clean and nice bathroom. the room size is adequate for our needs (a little small). breakfast included with the room is very good with choices of both western and eastern dishes, we like the eastern selection better (like beef noodle, rice congee, etc) given our heritage. the service from staff in the dinning is great, they anticipate and provide what we want before we could ask. the hotel is close to all place of interest and is next door to the ben thanh market where stalls were set up around the market street at night selling souvenirs, clothes and food till mid night. we had dinner at one stall in the night market called hai lua, the food is reasonable quality and well priced. there are other good eateries around the hotel, try quan ngon on nam ky khoi nghia st,pho 24 on nguyen du st, quan nuong (bbq garden) on le thanh ton st. there is no hassle with hotel check in, we turned up with the hotel voucher, the staff at the hotel did read my instructions in my booking and try their best to meet my requests. the concierge staff (mr huy) is very helpful to assist us to get around and finding alternative accommodation for us as they could not extend our stay. the only thing that i am not happy with is interrogation like questioning from one of the reception staff at night. we were asked if we are guests staying at the hotel when we entered the lobby, we felt very offended.perhaps the reception staff may need a little more training in dealing with expatriate guests like us. apart from this little incident, we like this establishment and will definitely give this hotel our first choice when we come back to hcmc next time.

The location is one of the good things about The Luxe Hotel. It's near enough the hustle and bustle of Ben Than Market and its surrounding areas but far enough to not be so busy and noisy. Lots of restaurants around. If you don't mind walking, it's walking distance to downtown spots too like City Hall, Opera House, Nguyen Hue Pedestrian St., Dongkhoi St., Saigon Square and Saigon Center. Lots of eateries around. Also, for the price you get a modest room with the basic amenities you will need for your travel. Bed is nit very soft but big. Get a room with a view of the street below.

Got upgraded to bigger room with private bedroom, living room since it was my first time staying with them. It was great and sweet surprise, however, I would love a queen size bed instead of 2 single beds. Room is spacious and I have two views, one to the swimming pool and one to the main street. The bath room is clean and classy. Cleanliness is good. Staff: overall is acceptable. The staff came to pick me up from the airport was very polite and nice. The receptionist is extremely friendly. However, the staff that escorted me to my room didn’t do his job well. I was directed to the elevator and thats it. I had to find my room myself (it was not easy). In the beginning I thought maybe that’s the style of the hotel, but later I saw him escorting another guest to his room (in the same floor with me). So what was the deal with letting a guest like me wandering alone trying to figure out where my room is? Food: good. Breakfast has a lot of options to choose. Facility: love the swimming pool Location: excellent. Next to Nguyen Hue walking area, near to Opera house, Saigon river. Lots of coffee shops and restaurants Overall: will definitely consider to stay again but the hotel seriously needs to correct the staff behavior.

Hotel was very clean and all staff were attentive, polite and friendly. Complimentary breakfast had a good selection and room service food was good quality. Rooftop pool was great and bar was reasonably priced (more expensive than some nearby bars but cheap for hotel). Location was great, right between the fancier restaurant area and main bustling walking street. Walking distance of Ben Tahn and Nguyen Hue walking street and a longer walk to the pink church and war remnants museum. Would definitely stay again.

Everything is awesome. The hotel is near to Beh Thanh market and also the night market. It is less than 1 meter. It is easy to travel around as well because the VINASUN cab is just outside the hotel. The breakfast is nice, lots of choices. It is combination of local, Asian and western breakfast. The PHO is really nice. I had it as my breakfast every morning. Room is spacious and clean. The hotel also provided 2 free mineral water every day. During our stay we booked the Mekong trip and Cu Chi Tunnel trip from the hotel. The price is reasonable and the trip was really fun. On our last day of stay, we didn’t do reservation for the water puppet show as we afraid that we cannot make it. We reached hotel around 5.40pm local time and we tried to book the ticket from hotel and was informed that since we do not make reservation. They will try to help us check on this. I saw them keep on trying to call (they call many times but was no one answer the call). They ask us to have a rest in our room instead of waiting in the lobby and they will try their very best to help us getting the tickets. The show start on 6.30pm and we are able to get the ticket when we reached lobby on 6.15pm. Really thank you to Vivian, Lina and Pauline for this. Even it is a 3 star hotel but their service is really a 5 star hotel services. Surely will stay here again when I travel to HCM in future

Duc Voung hotel with its central location in District 1 is ideal for artwork/painting enthusiast as it has a number of neighboring small galleries. There are also a good number of choices of dining outlets, bars, art and crafts shops just few steps away from the hotel. Even for first timer vacationer in that part of Ho Chi Minh city's District 1, small malls like the Zen Plaza along Nguyen Trai, a local market, groceries are so conveniently accessible. Best of all, the hotel staff are so attentive and friendly. Its budget rate is best enjoyed by booking through agoda. Will love to come back and I highly recommend the hotel to other vacationers in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam.

Breakfast is amazing but needs less pork based dishes. Delicious coffee. Reception staff go out of their way to accommodate all requests. A rare place in HCMC where you don’t feel like you are being ripped off or duped. Props to Nguyen at the reception desk who made our stay pleasant and hassle free. We were even lent adapters for electrical devices. The central location is super convenient. Rooms are meticulously clean!

It situated next to the main icon of old Saigon, the Ben Tanh Market and across the main bus interchange which my wife and I greatly appreciated. Moreover, the night markets in the evening are full of bargains and business activities including mouth watering local supper. Taking public transport is easy and We like it best is the flat fare of 5000 dong to anywhere -such great treat could never happen in Singapore. Within strolling distance is the marvelous shopping boulevard, the great Nguyen Hue, where one can never be tired of shopping and dinning.

My wife and I decided to have a night "away" and checked into a Palace Signature Suite of the Palace Hotel Saigon. The room was a corner unit split into a living room and a bedroom. It had a small corner balcony and view of Nguyen Hue street, the Bitexco tower and a sliver of the Saigon River. A highlight of the room was the bathroom, that stretched the length of the living room and bedroom and included a small jacuzzi - something not found in other suites in this price range - bubble soap and view onto Nguyen Hue street through tinted windows included. Staff was extremely friendly. For example, they brought us two wine glasses within 2 minutes of our request. They even thought so far ahead and included a bottle opener despite not asking for one. We slept through breakfast, so I can't comment on the quality of the food, but breakfast was included. However, given its great location, there are many options - expensive and local - to get some food or simply a coffee. The best part was the price. We were able to get the Suite for about USD 112 (non-refundable) on Agoda, which was on par with standard rooms at the other 4-star+ hotels in the area, and far below the rates for their suites.

I loved this hotel. The location is excellent, the room was great, the breakfast was delicious, and I really appreciated the daily one hour massage included with my booking at no extra charge. Not just an ordinary massage…I would say the massages at the hotel spa were some of the best I have had anywhere. The staff was absolutely outstanding. Everyone was all smiles and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Everyone spoke English, and they were always helpful with any questions. My arrival in Saigon started with a problem because the hotel's driver wasn't at the airport to pick me up as pre-arranged, so I took a taxi to the hotel. This seems like a complaint, but in the end it turned into a positive experience because of how the staff handled it. They were very apologetic and reimbursed me for the taxi. I will definitely stay at Fusion Suites on my next visit to Saigon.

Our stay was not without issues - had to move rooms twice - uncomfortable mattress and then air conditioning failure, but the staff could not have been more helpful and moved us within moments of raising our concerns. Highlights of the stay were the lovely rooftop pool and delicious complimentary afternoon teas. We also booked three tours through the front desk - to the Cu Chi tunnels and the Cao Dai temple, the Mekong Delta and an evening dinner cruise all of which were memorable, enjoyable and superb value for money. The desk also arranged foot massage for me at a sister hotel, which, again, was excellent value for money. Location is very convenient - just moments to the main market and a street food market, with Union Square a further short walk away. I hope we can return one day in the not too distant future. I always prefer a room with window. I book a junior suite with full window and it is at the corner lot. I have a nice city view. Even through facing the busy road, the room was quiet. The window is seal double layer and it is sound proof. The hotel is 5 minutes walk to the busy Ben Thanh market and 10 minutes walk to Nguyen Hue, the walking street. There are Family Mart and Circle-K opposite the hotel. Breakfast served at 10th Floor. Not fancy but good to get your day ready. The check-in process was fast and the bellboy was helpful. He waiting for us to get the Grab car for quite some time. I am highly recommended this hotel and perhaps consider to stay back again for my next visit.

Best Value Hotel in HCMC ive stayed at so far !!! . After checking out reviews i picked this Hotel to stay at for the last 2 days of our holiday as our melbourne flight leaves at 9.00pm we generally book to have a base until early evening so i was looking for a more modestly priced hotel to stay the last nights . This trip we chose to stay in some of Classic Hotels in the 5 star range at HCMC ,HOI An ,Hue. i was expecting a good to mediocre hotel however The Grand Silverland Hotel & Spa is now at the top of my list ticking all the boxes From arrival to departure i was totally impressed The hotel staff and managers are excellent well trained and very helpful , Taking care of things like airport transfers and phoning checking airline reservations recommending shops that actually can supply your needs . The fastest and easiest check in ever ( They actually take you to your room to complete check in which is great for weary travelers ) Room - Silverland Suite was well appointed clean and had a multi function Jacuzzi portal Location is perfect a few steps from the market and all the sights of district 1 Roof top pool and bar small but fantastic Great spa and massage. Great Breakfast Really the best value for money . Five star service at 3.5 star prices Wish we were still there !!

First, the disadvantage of this hotel's biggest one is the 'location'. It is a very good location based on the "accessibility" with the Ho Chi Minh attractions, but it is noisy at night because it is located on De Tham street, which is crowded with clubs and nightlife. They may be sensitive to noise, older, or may not fit well with family units. It is a good hotel to choose for young people who like to play with fun. I think it is a 5 star hotel that can be met at a price of $ 40-50. The kindness of all the staff was close to perfection, so that we could forget some of the disadvantages. The room was small, but the structure was made efficient, and I was able to feel the consideration and effort using good furniture and facilities. Especially breakfast was much better than other hotel's buffet, a la carte and basic dishes, all the ingredients and juice were always fresh. I have written a review based on experience using dozens of hotels across Vietnam for business trips.

Harmony Saigon hotel had everything one could expect in a 4 star hotel -- elegant lobby, modern guest room, quality facilities, tasty food, and good location. However, what impressed me most was the considerate and professional hotel staff. It was on the second day of our stay when my wife suffered a sudden vertigo and vomiting during breakfast. As a tourist who didn't understand a single word of Vietnamese, I could only seek for the help of restaurant manager. Without any hesitation, the manager called reception to arrange transportation and contact an international hospital immediately. When he escorted us to the lobby, a cab was already waiting for us. Upon arriving at hospital, my wife was attended by a doctor immediately, thanks to the pre-registration by another hotel staff. Fortunately, after a few hours' checkup and infusion, my wife was confirmed no big issue and released home. Surprisingly, the same staff was still waiting outside for us. My heart was really touched at that moment. When we reached hotel, the general manager gave us a warm greeting, and a restaurant staff delivered porridge to our room. My wife recovered fast and we had a pleasant trip in the following days. Before checking out the hotel, we reminded the reception staff to settle the bill incurred by the emergency. I was surprised again when he told me all the cost had been waived by the general manager. I have stayed at about twenty 4 or 5-star hotels worldwide. The experience at Harmony Saigon Hotel was unique and well beyond my expectation. I would like to express my hearted appreciation to the hotel staff and wish them all the best.
