It's expensive. But money is worth it. And for me the best pool in the whole area of high class hotels in KLCC. Another thing, customer service. This is my favourite staycation hotel to bring the family because of just that. And they remembered me, my wife. Even the restaurant JP Terrace also welcomes me with a smile and old banter like family. And I am no royalty ya, just a member of the normal public that gets pampered by them once and awhile when my allowances afford me these luxuries.

This was our second stay at the Concorde...first was business at our High Commission and the central location was perfect. The second visit was purely for pleasure and once again we chose the Concorde for its central location. This hotel though has so much more to offer than just its location...it has a superb breakfast buffet with a great selection of local and western cuisines, nice neat and tidy rooms with great amenities(great shower pressure) and friendly staff with prompt service(room service was super fast). It is conveniently located within walking distance of the Petronas towers for shopping and many great bars and eateries and only a quick drive to many of the attractions KL has to offer(bird park, batu caves, palace, museum etc).

We have fond memories of the hotel when it was still Ming Court and we have stayed at Corus Hotel London a couple of times. When we stayed here recently we found the hotel lives up to its name in providing the services normally found in 5 star hotels though with less frills. So it is really great value for money. It is therefore not surprising that this attracted crowds you normally come accross when you stay at cheaper hotels. I do not have problem with this but may be a problem to those with attitudes who would quickly move to the nearest five or six star hotels nearby. I like the business philosopy of Corus in going into the middle range of the market. There are already too many luxurious hotels with all the frills catering for the "high" class travels but few that provide the comfort offered by the classy hotels but at a much less price. The majority of travellers with families do belong to the middle range of the market who would not be comfortable to stay at three star or budget hotels. So keep up and keep your niche. It would be good business and a big favour for the majority of global travellers.

We stayed a total of 10 nights at Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur and it was truely a fantastic experience. From the moment you step out of your car, the service is unending. The door staff to the reception, the cleaners to the maids, the chefs to the kitchen staff are all smiling, attentive and helpful. We were travelling with our 1.5 year old daughter, so my wife and I are very picky with our hotels and our expectations are very high. Shangri La far exceeded those expectations, they went above and beyond, I especially wish to mention service manager Fairuz, she was absolutely amazing and made the stay even better. Thanks for all your help. I also wish to mention Chef Goh, one of the 6 chefs at the lemon tree restaurant. I'll be writing a more thorough review on TripAdviser. But in summary, if you are looking for a 5 star (a true 5 star) hotel in Kuala Lumpur, with a large swimming pool, great gym and health centre (spa, sauna, steam room, hair salon, beauty spa), an amazing buffet breakfast (absolute necessity), a convenient location. Then Shangri La KL is your hotel. Other hotels may be more in the centre of Bukit Bintang or KLCC but you need to consider KL traffic. It will literally take you half an hour to move 1km. Shangri La was close enough that taxi rides were a few minutes, but detached enough that we were always in a traffic jam. I'll definitely be returning in future. we were quite disappointed that when we check in, the staff told us that the room is not ready and that we have to move to another hotel for a night, and they transferred us to the hotel which obviously does not offer the same service that we're supposed to get if had we stay in the pacific regency. Fortunately, the manager is nice enough to get us a new room in a 5-star hotel as a replacement. Hotel room-wise, it is simply stunning, the view from the room is superb. Not to mention Luna Bar which is located at the rooftop along with the swimming pool, too bad they close the pool by 7 PM. The location is not really ideal for shoppers, if you want to go to the big shopping mall like Pavilion or KLCC, you might need to take a taxi to get there, and dont ever take the blue cab from the hotel lobby because it charges you twice as high as the normal taxi and also do not take the taxi from the entrance due to the same reason. It might be a best idea to walk down the road for a bit and stop the running taxi on the street. If you're lucky, you might get the metered taxi which is much cheaper.

After reading the reviews, I choosed this hotel for my family short trip in KL. Booked a 3 Bedroom Premier Suite, requested for high floor and a baby cot which was given to us. The room was spacious for big family (4 Adult 6 Children) and even had room for the kids to run around playing hide and seek. Every room had prayer mat. Loved the facilities here, the swimming pool (we had a great time with the kids), sauna and not to forget the self service laundry. We tried the breakfast at the hotel. There was alot of choices but the best was the pastry! Would like to compliment the lady staff manning the lobby cafe, the lady manning the mini shop and also one of the guy from the Binjai restaurant who attended to us for IRD (Room 2506). All 3 staff was exceptional and friendly. Downside is that we had problems with thr elevator or keycards. Not once but many times. We were stuck in the lift on our 1st night for quite some time till we had to wait for the lift to go down back to lobby. Very frustrating. Receptionist wasnt very helpful till we had to request the lady to come and follow us to the lift. We observed that this issue happen when using the 1st lift on the left. It is not only us having this issue. You guys might want to check on this. Just to add on, from checking in, mid and out, the receptionist staff esp the ladies wasnt welcoming. Need to improve on this. Overall our family loved our stay here..except for the elevator and we will definitely choose to stay here again next time!

We had an amazing stay for two nights. The hotel is located just behind Renaissance. The service was superb. The one-bedroom suite we booked were spotless clean. It was huge. The best thing was, one-bedroom suite has a huge ensuite bathroom and seperate vanity area and also one guest toilet Outside, near the kitchen area. View was amazing too. I got full view of the twin tower on lvl 6. The pool area has children pool as well with water slides and colorful small balls for the kids pleasure. There was Jacuzzi as well. Also a playground for kids and indoor play area for toddlers. A very relaxing place indeed. Location was good, walking distance to shopping malls. We got complimentary parking lot as well. The security was good around the hotel.

All of their staff are very friendly and accommodating. I have booked a club room for my husband’s birthday and apart from the nice view of the twin towers, they booked us in their highest floor. The club lounge is very nice especially when we had our breakfast there with the view of the city. All the best to Mandarin Oriental. Thank you Akiko of reception for assisting our stay.

Very Recommended Hotel : - Infront Of Hotel is AVenue K Mall : Just Go Inside and 1 access same to Suria KLCC (very near to twin tower petronas) - Transport is MRT is very near, just go in Avenue K Mall , with Rapid KL LRT KLCC - this hotel is very cheap is you booking early - breakfast is very nice and many food you can pick - Room is very Nice View, clean, facilities is very good - many place you can go - Tranport another MRT, you can use Grab Car (Online transportation), GRAB is very Cheap between Uber or another Taxi Meter, Just download in Playstore or App Store - From Airport KLIA (kuala lumpur International airport), you can get to the hotel very simple : 1. From KLIA to KL Sentral with Bus (price is about RM10-30) 2. From KLIA to KL Sentral with KLIA Express (One way is RM55) from KL Sentral, you take LRT Rapid KL to KLCC (price RM 2.30) after arrive KLCC LRT, you just go out to AK Mall, and you arrive soon to hotel. this the best recommend hotel at Kuala Lumpur

We were a bit worried when we booked this hotel since previous reviews have not been so good. But we had a positive surprise! It is of course still a 5-star hotel (stars have nothing to do with how new the hotel is) with all services that a good hotel offers: restaurants, bars, swimming pool, fitness center etc. The hotel has a sky bar on the 13th floor with a beautiful view of the PETRONAS Towers and the Menara TV tower. The sky bar offers free coffee / tea with cookies every night between 9 and 11 PM. The rooms are big and spacious. We asked for a room high up (got one at level 16) with King-Size Bed and a view of PETRONAS Towers. We got everything we asked for. Yes, if you look closely you can see that the hotel is a bit old, but it was still very clean and nothing was broken in our room. They do not yet have flat screen TV:s, which nowadays feel a bit strange, but they do have a fast internet connection. The location is good. There is a 5 minute walk to the nearest Monorailstation and/or to PETRONAS Towers and the KLCC subway station. The Suria KLCC shopping center at PETRONAS Towers is the best we have visited (and we visited a lot!) offering both very expensive brands and more "normal-priced" brands such as GAP, Esprit, Nike etc. The KLCC park behind the towers is absolutely beautiful. Once you are at the PETRONAS Towers, you can also take the airconditioned skybridge from the Convention Center which takes you all the way down to Bukit Bintang, where there are more shopping centers and a lot of restaurants. All-in-all it is a 25 minute walk from the Maya hotel.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights mid year and overall it was a wonderful experience. The rooms were spacious and modern and the breakfast simply amazing! Stayed at many 5 star properties around the world and this was one of the best breakfasts ever. It was quite cheap too The only shortfall i would say would be the location. Having previously stayed at Traders which is right next to Suria KLCC and Pavillion, Hilton is a tad far from the centre, esp if you enjoy having a casual stroll to the shops. A taxi is only a 5 minutes ride however if you wanted to walk out and about, theres not really anything around. But overall, very happy with the hotel and their service.

We had a good experience in this hotel and would definitely come back when we have the chance. Hotel location was superb, 5 minutes walk will bring you to the new pavilion mall in the heart of bukit bintang area. There is a bridge between the hotel and pavilion mall that it is practically connected to each other and you can go in and out as often as you want between the hotel and the shopping area. The room was nice, clean and modern but the height of the bath tub was a bit too high making it difficult to get in and out of it. You have to take your shower in it though. Other downside was the lift. There are about 30 floors in the hotel and there are only 3 lifts. So you will have to wait for sometime before getting access to it. the hotel was packed as the restaurants can barely cope up with the number of guests during breakfast. Checking in/out was easy. But dont make local calls from the room as it is quite pricey. Anyway, it was a really good value and the location of the hotel makes it a big winner.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at The Royale Chulan near the end of an around the world trip that included everything from Sheraton hotels down to sleeping on people's couches and guesthouses in India. The hotel was a breath of fresh air that was on par or better than a Sheraton or other american name 5 star brand hotel. The location was perfect, the breakfast was delicious and our rooms offered great sleeps, which were much needed. What really put the hotel over the top though was what happened when we were missing something that we were sure we had arrived at the hotel with. The staff was extremely helpful! Even though a king was currently visiting and security was on high, they took the time to walk through the security cameras with us to figure out where we had lost it and then we managed to recover our item! It was hands down the best experience I've had losing something on our trip. We would stay here again and again and again.

High floor unblocked city plus mountain view. If u choose skyline suite, u will enjoy sunset plus twin tower view. Mine is sunrise and mountain plus city view. I took a Suite and it comes with living room and kitchen! Space was huge and there filtered water available and a big fridge where u can buy your own drinks & fruits! Although its not near eateries, just grab or take mrt and you can reach petaling street or Bukit bintang with lots of shopping and food choices. Given another choice I would still choose Element over Bt Bintang 5 star hotels or hotels with infinity pool facing twin towers. Cos it is not rowdy at all. There is a convenient store News which is just downstairs!Love my stay here and will definitely choose Element by Westin again. Will try skyline suite next time.

Stayed at this hotel with my Mom for 3 nights. At first this hotel was chosen in the internet because of its amazing outdoor pool with a magnificent view on the famous twin towers - Petronas. When we arrived there late in the evening the staff at the reception was very welcoming. The room wasn’t very luxurious and a bit old but nice and cozy enough, also with a view on the Petronas towers which is very beautiful at night. We had some problems with the AC and toilet but both were fixed in a short time. The buffet breakfast offered quite a variety of tasty food and fruits and delicious cakes, and we enjoyed nice and peaceful relaxing atmosphere of the place. We were very pleased with the work of concierge Aoran. He did more than just a perfect work. Every request was fulfilled in the best way, and everything arranged in a timely manner with no delays. The location of the hotel also was very convenient. It took us only about 5-10 min walk to the Petronas towers. And several big shopping malls are also within a walking distance. There is a Monorail station just across the road from the hotel! Which is veeeery convenient when you go shopping in those malls and need to get back with a lot of shopping bags, the tickets for Monorail are really cheap. It’s also a fast and cheap way to get to the other places of KL and to watch the city around through the windows. We used it to get to the Birds Park (which is up to the last station, and then took a taxi from there to the park itself). The hotel also has Mandala Spa located in there, but unfortunately we didn’t have time to try it. But I know it’s very famous so next time I’m sure to stay at this very hotel and use the Spa packages.

I visited with my father and my grandmother and we decided to stay in an apartment with 2 rooms. The photos displayed on their website accurately depicts what you get unlike some other hotel websites. The design of the apartment was done very well and you can definitely tell there's constant maintenance and renovations. The daily servicing of our apartment was done promptly and with great efficiency. The breakfast though is not the best but it also depends on your taste and where you're from. The location is in the centre of KLCC which is where the business district is. We didn't end up catching the public transport much so I can't comment on the accessibility for public transport. It is right next to the Petronas Twin Towers so you can easily visit that attraction. You can also visit the Aquaria very easily as well. There is also a Suria KLCC where you can do your shopping ranging from high end brands to normal everyday brands. However, you will find things more expensive here. You're better off taking a taxi or transport to other shopping malls where you can get better bargain. Overall, I thought my stay was amazing and I wish I stayed longer. The location is amazing and the apartment itself was amazing. I'd definitely recommend it if you're travelling with a family. I'd definitely stay here again.

It was a last minute decision to book the hotel and found the location very convenient with LRT right outside and you can literally walk 10 minutes to KLCC. The breakfast was not that wide a spread but they had all the essential brekkie stuffs. Encountered a crawlie which appeared on the table and promptly informed the staff who apologised and moved us immediately. Restaurant Manager Mohd Robae waited for us to finish our breakfast before personally attending to us to apologised about the incident. Although I said it was ok he was really concerned. This gesture was followed by a plate of fruits and a personal card from him again apologising about that incident. This is the BEST service I have received and am greatly impressed with the gestures by Mohd Robae. 10 stars. Hotel room was big, big comfy bed very comfortable and business served. Will definitely come again. Especially for the location... out of the city but nearly.

Hotel management is very integrated, responsive and helpful. Duty Manager, Front Office, The reception, Experience Concierge, "Joshua" and "Suria" And all the staff are very professional, cooperation and welcoming. Friendly staff in all departments. A new and modern place and wonderful smart buildings. and best "Views". Elevators, corridors, rooms, furniture, restaurant, swimming pool, facilities and the hotel's smell are very refined, high taste, cleanliness and luxury. central location, therefore a good base for a short or longer stay! lrt station ampang park is only 10 min walk away. close to british high commission and other embassies. the one or two bedroom option makes it suitable for couples, larger families and close friends. rooms are comfrotable and the kitchenette is equipped with what is needed. breakfast is included. nice swimming pool.

The hotel/rooms were very clean and had character with high ceilings and great details. The bathroom (with an enclosed shower) was one of the best we had during our stay in Malaysia. The staff were efficient and straightforward about the amenities (no wifi in the rooms). The location is great with easy 1 minute access to the monorail and the neighborhood was upscale. The quality we received for the price was exceptional. We will book this hotel for our next stay in KL.

I stayed at Super Twin Room on 2nd-3rd December 2018. My reviews are as follows: 1.Have their own car park. Even a high star hotel don't have their own car park especially the hotel at Jalan Tun Razak. 2. One building has everything such as KFC, bowling, swimming pool and playground for kids. 3. Room with extra space for pray, pantry, tea table, aircond and tv. 4. Free breakfast (local menu). 5. Cheap price with the aforementioned facilities, kau nak apa lagi duduk le diam2.. :)

Flamingo By the Lake was a great place to stay set slightly away from the hustle and bustle of KL centre. Beautiful surrounds and very helpful staff. Rooms were decorated well with small balconies over-looking the lake. This hotel delivered high standards at a budget price - remarkable value for money. Do not be put of with the distance from KL centre - taxis are very cheap and easily arranged. You will save a fortune staying here and experience a quality hotel. I have also stayed at the Impiana as a comparison it is twice as expensive and about the same quality.

this being a new serviced-apartment, the amnenities are modern and all in pristine condition. a pleasant surprise is the bath-tub which offers a perfect wind-down at the end of a long day of shopping and feasting in kl. the mattress is wonderfully firm and you wake up totally refreshed and rejuvenated the next morning. that to me is the most crucial and useful function of a great hotel! understandably, most taxis don't know this place. tell them it's "next to british high commission". if that doesn't work, then "near the junction of jalan ampang with the big pizza hut". usually does the trick! the only gripe about this place is the distance from bukit bintang and jalan alor, respectively the retail and food heavens of kl. however, i think it is near the business district. so if you are travelling for business, that absolutely turns things in your favour!

International 5-star hotel standard, expectations was high and it did not fail me. Having stayed at many international 5-star hotel chains, this probably ranks as one of the best. Comfortable bed, good quality linen, extremely spacious rooms and room layout/design was top-notch. Butler service was a nice touch. And they served iced fruit-infused tea while I was waiting to check-in. Was a little pricey, but paying for quality. Breakfast selection wasn't that fantastic though, but the other positive aspects of the hotel more than made up for it. good stay overall. Highly recommended.

The view from the infinity pool is a MUST! Being able to walk back and forth from Suria KLCC/Petronas Towers was also a huge plus. There are also plenty of banks with global ATMs near the hotel, so getting cash was really convenient. The breakfast is kind of cheap quality, but it's a budget hotel, so. (Also, they don't provide shampoo or conditioner. There's a Watsons down the block where you can buy some travel-sized bottles for cheap, but it might be best to bring your own.)

This is my second time staying at this hotel. And I’m returning again 2019. Highly recommend to booked the CLUB room ie Club Deluxe, Club premier, Club Executive or suites room. These room types entitled you to club lounge access which has afternoon snacks from 3:30pm and evening cocktails from 5:30pm. 90% of the staff here are amazing! 99% of the staff here can speak good English. One negative point but not important is the guys at the bridge section could be more friendlier, maybe standing at that post all day long can get pretty boring I can imagine. I read bad reviews written by previous guests about this hotel but in all seriousness this hotel is not that bad to what people says. You paid for what you get and some people will never be happy no matter what you do, I have stay over hundreds of hotels and consider that this hotel is only rated as 4 stars in my opinion would top (even better) than some of the 5 stars branded name hotels such as Hilton, Stamford even the Sheraton. If you haven’t heard of Grab, download and setup Grab before you get here. Grab is another form of Uber. It’s very convenience and cheap to get all over KL.

I have been staying in Maxstays - MaxsStyle @ Kirana Residence for only three days, but in that short time I have definitely discovered my new favorite place to stay in KL. Cynthea made me feel so welcome and valued that I felt like I was visiting my best friend's home. She also gave me her personal phone number and made herself available for questions at all times, as it was my first time visiting Malaysia. Room was spacious and well decorated, the bathroom was nice and well stocked with awesome toiletries. Large bath tub was a nice touch as well! This condotel is located 3-5 minutes walk from iconic Petronas towers, so I enjoyed the best KL city center has to offer walking to/from hotel and admiring day and night views. Cynthea also gave some really good suggestions regarding other KL destinations, so I had an exciting and eventful weekend visiting those places. Overall, couldn't be more pleased with my stay in Maxstays - MaxsStyle @ Kirana Residence.

This is a very very nice hotel that is not in the middle of KL, it is just out of the centre of the city and for those who like to walk about 20 Min. This hotel allows you to experience the local community and the more you explore the more you find. Food and dinning in this area is at reasonable prices, unlike the centre of the city. Get out and explore by foot great, you can see and taste Malaysia on foot without tourist inflated prises. Big thank you to the staff of this hotel. P.S. newly renovated hotel
