I cannot speak highly enough about the service I experienced in the hotel! Believe it or not I very rarely write reviews but felt obligated to in this case! From the moment I walked in everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I stayed for 4 days and can honestly say this hotel is well on its way to at least 4 stars! I rarely write reviews but all of the staff are committed to doing their absolute best from the front desk to the spa staff and my sweet cleaning lady. The hotel is still under construction which was a bit of a bummer, but despite this the actual facilities are very relaxing and well designed. The view on the roof is spectacular especially at night. Despite all the pros of this hotel I do have some areas of constructive feedback in the interest of helping to make it the best it can be: please put a fan or air con in the gym!! It’s a smaller space (still sufficient) but it gets very hot in there! Also, please add hooks to the bathroom in the lobby!

Let's start with the positives. Clean hotel. Lovely roof top terrace. Small roof pool. Sauna and steam room available over the street. Good location walking distance to major attractions. Negatives the room was not as displayed. No hot tub. The room had no view and there is no sound proofing so you can hear everything outside and in. It's a noisy place. The bell boy told me in the fridge you had to pay and noodles and chips were complimentary which I thought was nice. Unfortunately this was not the case so I felt deceived and of course very expensive to have these things especially as a family mart is a 2 minute walk away. This needs to be made clear with signs. I also felt that breakfast items were slow to be replenished and you had to ask for things often such as cups and glasses. Breakfast was really good. I didn't have any afternoon tea as there were a few little cakes left one day and tea and coffee but I felt it wasn't great. Overall a great stay though and with a little more customer focus this place would be a little gem in the city.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here at the Roseland Centa Hotel. The staff here were extremely courtesy and helpful! They provided the type of customer service that you would expect from 5-star hotels. Everyone was great, especially the two bellhops Dang Khoa and Phuoc Trong. Communication was never a problem here and I would definitely recommend this hotel to travelers of all types!

i can commend the hotel nikko saigon as a quality hotel with very high standards of room comfort, food and service. we stayed in a club room on the 28th floor. the suite that we booked was exceptional with a seperate lounge and bedroom. the bathroom was enormous and luxuriously appointed. the hotel is 5 star all the way including the service. while we stayed in an executive room and were entitled to use the executive lounge, we did venture downstairs to the main dining room for breakfast on more than one occasion and found the selection to be one of the most extensive and high quality i have ever seen. having travelled overseas every year for the past 17 years in about 30 countries i have stayed in some good hotels but the hotel nikko saigon would have to rate as one of if not the highest standard i have stayed. the location was convenient to both district 1 and 5 as well as being easy to obtain taxi services to other key areas. we paid around aud155 per night and feel that this was very good value. the club rooms include afternoon tea betwen 2-4pm followed by beer, wine and spirits between 5-8pm (ask for spirits or the menu - staff are happy to oblige). the staff could not have been more helpful and secured us tickets for the train to mui ne` although the online tickets were all booked out. our stay at this hotel was genuinely very pleasant and we would have no hesitation in staying at the hotel nikko saigon in the future even if we couldn't book an executive room.

After spending at Six sense NINA Van Bay,here is EXCELLENT,compared with SSNVB, 1000 times better !THIS is 5 STAR HOTEL! Definitely staying at here makes my whole trip in Vietnam happily,good ending! Seems staff never say NO,they are super well training,great service! Especially house keeping is outstanding! They are very thoughtful ,they know how to make the guests comfortable and happy! Of course cleanup the room perfectly! I had quick breakfast,both the range of foods and taste are great,but milk pancakes are not good. The best bang mi in Saigon (I tried two best know one but here is better than those two! As information,SSNVB ‘s one is awful!)

The Myst is a mixed bag. It's nice enough, but it's no 5- star hotel. It's in a fantastic location (though, ironically, it's not actually on Dong Khoi). The girl at reception was very rude - I had booked a room on the 'Dong Khoi' side, which it stipulated on the room type, but upon check in she wanted to 'upgrade' me to a room on the construction side, which I politely declined since I specifically booked and paid for a DK room. The next day, however, a different girl at reception was incredibly nice and professional. The hotel is a bit eclectic with a mish-mash of themes. The room was nice though the a/c was barely adequate. There is a pool on the roof, but it feels like an afterthought as you must go through the restaurant to access a door to then climb stairs to get to the pool. Seriously. Oh and the gym? It's up more stairs in an add-on room above the pool. It's a decent hotel in a great location. Nice enough? Yes. But not great value in HCMC for what you pay.

The hotel and rooms are very clean. The breakfast is very, very good with lots of Western and Eastern options. The quality of the food is exceptional. The location is right in the center of District 1. The A/C works great. The staff speak English and are very nice. I make note of the following issue with Caravelle. 1. The water pressure and hot water availability was exceptional. However, in our room, the shower head was kind of cheap and didn't allow for a nice spray pattern. The shower head really only had a narrow stream. It would be nice if they upgraded their shower heads to a higher-quality that allowed a better spray pattern/more spray pattern options. After all, we are talking about a 5-star hotel here - right. 2. My wife and I attempted to enter the Gambling area on the second floor. It should be noted that this area is restricted to foreign passport holders only. While I was able to freely walk in (as I'm Caucasian and clearly not a local), my wife, who is of Vietnamese descent, but is a US citizen, was restricted from entry. While we advised the manger of the gambling facility (inside the Caravalle) that she was a US citizen, she was still not allowed to enter. I can understand their foreign policy for admittance (as gambling is not legal for local residents), this experience came across as discriminatory. We submitted a copy of our Passports to the Front Desk. The manager of Gambling facility could made an effort to contact the Front Desk to cross-check our background - but - was unwilling to do so. This reflects negatively on the Caravelle Hotel. I complained about this to Caravelle management. We received what we feel was an unsympathetic apology. Our stay here was brief. If I had more time I would have escalated or taken more action on this. 3. The staff were nice, friendly and spoke English well. However, I think they fall a little short of 5-star. 4. All this aside, I would definitely stay at the Caravelle again.

A frequent budget traveller to Vietnam, we treated ourselves to s 5 star hotel stay. The issue was with our booking. Advertised as an executive sute, this is not what we recieved. Our first night spent in an old room with very dirty air conditioning. We were told that we had booked the Rex Suite, however we had booked the executive suite. Buyer beware the room advertised does not always get you the room you booked. What is used between booking agencies and the hotel can vary. After complaining we were moved to another room which was much more acceptable, still the same type of room. The beds are comfortable, lovely pool, and good amenities, staff are very friendly. However this is definitely not a 5 star hotel. It’s a nuce hotel but not worth the price tag. You would expect to have large white fluffy towels, no mould in the corner of the showers or dirty air conditioning.

Had a nice stay at a Mill. For our last two days in HCMC before departing back home. Staff was very welcoming and accomadating. The service was 5 star. Best part of Mill. Botique is the service- which is 5 star. Only thing I would recommend would be to put lounge chairs around the roof top pool. The hotel has dinning tables around the pool, making it hard to relax and enjoy yourself around the pool. The pool should provide guest with opportunity to unwind and layout not be squished together in in chairs around dinning tables.

First impression is very important in my option especially a 5 Stars establishment like yours! This is what I had found in Lotte Legend Hotel Saigon when I’d entered in their front door step Monday 2nd July, 2018. 1 . Staff at door entry greeted us and made us very welcome. 2. Then we were greeted by Ms Mia ( Guest Relation Officer) she was really wonderful and friendly settling us in and made us feel really welcome and she had organised a day trip tour to Chu Chi tunnels at a fraction of a cost the very next day. She is a great value. The whole few days stay experience was just perfect and every staff members there were all very friendly and helpful!! Thank you 3. Executive Lounge Restaurant was fantastic with great service staff and great window view of Saigon River. 4. Pool and Gym facilities was fantastic! Very clean and maintained. 5 Very close proximity to locals and shops/ entertainments . Thank you Mia for patience and your Great Service to my Family during our stay there. My Family had really enjoyed their stay at your 5 stars hotel. I will highly recommend to anyone thinking booking this hotel. Thank you Agoda app management team for making this happen for us. As a frequent visitor to HCMC for business, I have stayed in at least 10 different 3 to 5 stars hotels in HCMC over the past year. Many are good but every one of them is lacking in an area like service or facilities, or is just too expensive for what they provide. I don't write reviews but felt inclined to do so based on what is undooubtly my best hotel stay experience in HCMC. Eden Saigon is new and there are a few minor teething problems as can be expected. The location is good but certainly not the best compared to the up market opera tourist area. But none of these matters. The management and staff has to be congratulated for the best service I have ever received in any HCMC hotels bar none beating out much better known and much more expensive high end 5 stars establishments. The architecture and design is elegantly understated by Vietnamese standards with an impressive grand lobby and 12th floor pool and bar not to be missed for the incredible views. Most importantly, the room is elegant, warm and comfortable, equipped with everything one needs with a few extra touches that makes the difference between good and excellent....and I stayed in the lowest end room. I have no doubt Eden Saigon will flourish if they continue their impeccable service and maintain their facilities, and do not look forward to the day when their rates catch up with their reputation. In the meantime, I am going to enjoy not staying in a different hotel everytime, now that I have found the one perfect for me.

this area normally gives you a choice of expensive 5 star hotels or the lower end of 'mini-hotels' to choose from. this makes nhat ha 3 a great choice for something in beween. the surrounding area is still being revitalised but the hotel sets the standard and is beautifully finished off, spacious and airy. street side cafe tables operated by the hotel make for a pleasant venue for light refreshment.

Strictly speaking in terms of the hotel conditions, it was great. Centrally located, walks away from the shopping areas and dining areas. A very wide breakfast spread. The room was very very good. Definitely rated 5 stars for the room and bathroom. However, we were a little disappointed in the staff perfomance of this 5 star hotel. We requested to change our bedsheets because the flower petals caused my boyfriend to have an allergy. The receptionist doesnt seem to understand our simple english. Thus, language skills could be improved. Although it was a grand and nice hotel, we werent felt warmly welcome. (Because we were backpacking throughout Vietnam from Hanoi, all the way down to HCM). We just had a feeling that we do not suit into the hotel. Which was not a good feeling. Although we were carrying backpacks and does not look wealthy does not mean that we are not. This might be my own opinion, however, this is the truth that how we felt at the end of our stay. There is no initiative at all. Even for the bellboy at entrance. He didnt smile to us or say goodbye to us. While he was loading our bags to the taxi, he just spoke a few words in vietnamese to the driver and the driver looked at us and smirked. Definitely not a very good impression on the stay with Majestic Hotel even though they are a 5 star hotel. Our hotel at Hanoi - Calypso Hotel which is only a 3 stars hotel definitely exhibits the quality of a 5 star hotel. The service was way better than Majestic. This all serves as an opinion. Nothing wrong about the Hotel. It was a great building, grand and with huge bed, comfortable. But theservice definitely could be improve on.

Spent 5 fantastic days at this establishment. This was my first visit to Ho Chi Minh City and I selected the hotel based on the reviews by other travellers on the Agoda website. Let me say that the reviews were spot on. I had no trouble with my booking and when I presented my Agoda voucher, my room was ready and waiting. I was 2 minutes away from the famous Ben Thanh Market right in the middle of Ho Chi Minh's District 1. It was fantastic. The hotel is in excellent condition and the rooms are spacious and well appointed. They also serve a great spread of local and continental dishes for breakfast which was included with my room. The staff are friendly, converse fluently in English and available to assist whenever required. I will surely stay at this hotel again as I it is great value for my money. I recommend it for both single and travellers with families.

Staffs are very helpful and friendly, hardly feels like a hotel but people you already knew from long ago. They are able to communicate in English, and i met a counter staff who was able to speak in Mandarin so that was helpful as well. Hotel is new and in good condition. Happy with our room. The location is fantastic as it's just a 5 minutes walk away from Ben Thanh market. Do check out Ly Tu Trong street, street away from the hotel and walk all the way down to the city centre, found many nice boutique shops nicely tucked away from the roadsides, they are a gem. We have walked back and forth to the city centre on foot many times, takes us about half an hour one way if you not distracted by sights and shops. Overall, happy with our experiences in HCM

Several plus points come to mind - first, the location: right in the heart of Dong Khoi street which is *the* happening place in Ho Chi Minh City - great restaurants and shopping all within a stone's throw from the hotel. Next, the great old world charm of the hotel with all the facilities that you would expect from a good 5-star hotel - swimming pool, restaurant and bar. The room we stayed in was in the old wing but had all the facilities of a modern 5-star hotel room. The room overlooked the street but there was absolutely no noise filtering through despite the heavy Christmas eve traffic. The bathroom was also very clean with everything working perfectly. We had no problem with the air conditioning either. I also highly recommend the hotel's tour desk whose staff were able to organize a 'city tour' and a 'Cu Chi Tunnel' tour for us at short notice. Lastly, the price - about 20-30% cheaper than other equivalent hotels.

Everything is awesome. The hotel is near to Beh Thanh market and also the night market. It is less than 1 meter. It is easy to travel around as well because the VINASUN cab is just outside the hotel. The breakfast is nice, lots of choices. It is combination of local, Asian and western breakfast. The PHO is really nice. I had it as my breakfast every morning. Room is spacious and clean. The hotel also provided 2 free mineral water every day. During our stay we booked the Mekong trip and Cu Chi Tunnel trip from the hotel. The price is reasonable and the trip was really fun. On our last day of stay, we didn’t do reservation for the water puppet show as we afraid that we cannot make it. We reached hotel around 5.40pm local time and we tried to book the ticket from hotel and was informed that since we do not make reservation. They will try to help us check on this. I saw them keep on trying to call (they call many times but was no one answer the call). They ask us to have a rest in our room instead of waiting in the lobby and they will try their very best to help us getting the tickets. The show start on 6.30pm and we are able to get the ticket when we reached lobby on 6.15pm. Really thank you to Vivian, Lina and Pauline for this. Even it is a 3 star hotel but their service is really a 5 star hotel services. Surely will stay here again when I travel to HCM in future

Stayed here at the start and at the end of a trip through Vietnam. I picked this place because it had airport pickup, free wifi, breakfast included, and was about $35 USD/night for a basic room. On our last night we got upgraded to a "VIP Suite" which was large, had windows, and was quite typical of a traditional North American standard hotel room, typical cost for this room is about $70-$80/night I believe. Our standard room was compact, but clean. It had a basic 3 piece bath, great shower, air conditioning, free wifi, minifridge. All that you need, but somewhat basic, and an internal room so no window for natural light. Good value for $35. The staff was all excellent. The doormen on the street can spot you a block away and rush to greet and help you, the front desk girl EVA has a remarkable sense of humour, the bell boys are both fantastic guys and great conversationalists. Breakfast is upstairs in the restaurant and it is hot, a mix of fruits, rice, noodles, bacon, eggs, bread, juice, tea, coffee. It is well taken care of and nice reliable quality (easily a $5 value per person). The wifi worked perfectly and was fast, could get a signal in all parts of the building on laptop and on our smart phones. There is a travel agency in the basement below the hotel which is owned by the hotel. There is a guy there named Jackie who helped us book 3 trips. All 3 trips were amazing values and about a tenth of what they should cost. Spent about 10 bucks for a day trip to cu chi tunnels, 35 bucks each for a 2 day overnight trip up the river to another town, then about $200 each for a 5 day trip to Dalat, then to Nah Trang, then fly back to Saigon, including all transportation, hotels, and a couple day tours. No need to book more than a day in advance, just talk to Jackie when you arrive. I will post more tips and experiences as well.

Best place to stay at HCM, all top must see in HCM only walking distance from this hotel. Even in the middle of city , this hotel is very peaceful for your sleep. Nice view, surrounded by restaurant. But the breakfast a little bit boring, need to add a local food thought. Pillow are not so good for 4 stars hotel, but acceptable. There is no bolster. But overall nice stayed on this hotel. Will back to this hotel if go to HCM.

We stayed in a family suite with a family of three. The location is supberb if you want to stay near Ben Thanh market's vicinity. It is technically steps away from the West entrance to Ben Thanh market. Also, for that reason it is very noisy and heavily trafficked around the hotel. Breakfast was crowded. There was no table available when we came down even though the restaurant staff alread took our breakfast coupons and asked us to find a table, which I think they should have checked before taking our coupons. The elevator was a pain. We had stayed at other Silverland locations before, especially the one on Ly Tu Trong street which was far cleaner and newer than this one. Overall, a big disappointment. I would not stay at this hotel again in the future as there are many other choices in the area.

We stayed in this hotel on two occasions i.e 12 Mar 2012 and 15 Mar 2012 to 17 Mar 2012. I would like to commend that the staff were courteous, friendly and able to converse in English. The porters were helpful and the service was good. We had requested for quiet room while booking through agoda and the hotel staff did allocated quiet rooms for us. our room number was 801 on the first night and 214 on subsequent nights. These two rooms were away from the busy street. The minor setbacks were the window of 801 facing aircon unit and 214 is facing a garden. Both the beds and air-cons were of acceptable standard. Wi-fi service was free. There is a restaurant at level 5 serving buffet at reasonable price. There were great variaty of food and we enjoyed our dinner over there. There is also another more high-class restaurant at the top floor which offer you great city and river view. The hotel is situated at the central location in District 1 where you can walk to most of the tourist attractions in Ho Chi Minh City. For those unfamiliar with HCMC, there is no harm tring this hotel.

Very cosy and relaxing wooden interior, spacious room with bathtub and kitchen(microwave and utensils). 5-10mins walk or VND30000 taxi ride to city centre/ Saigon centre. Helpful and friendly staff. Free spa included per person per night of stay, 2nights both done by the same very professional young lady, didnt expect so. I think i tipped generously. She was happy. Small gym and no swimming pool, but that's fine. Quality breakfast, free a la carte menu, didn't try, but with a variety of food options. Booked day tour to Mekong Delta with the hotel, they booked it with an agency. The van, activities and the tour guide were good. Worth doing. Only bad thing was they arranged a taxi for me to the airport at 2-3am. The taxi driver was creepy and emotionally. He honked a few times with temper, but there was no one on the road..

We had a group of 8 people that stayed in the apartment and it is extremely cheap and great value for money staying together. It is located in district 1 which is centrally located to all great food and attractions. Taxi rides will range from 20,000VND to 100,00VND. Hotel is about 20 minutes from the airport costing around 150,00VND (tell the driver to turn on the meter). Small selection at the buffet breakfast but its still good considering it is free of charge with the room, reception also has a tour guide (buffalo tours) which was very helpful to book flights and tours. Staff are very helpful, friendly and are not bothered when we returned to our room in the early hours of the morning. One of the best stays i have had in ho chi minh considering i have been there 5 times.

Fantastic location, easy walk to markets, tourist destinations and local restaurants. Hotel was fine and staff polite but starting to feel a bit run down and tired at the edges physically and from a service perspective. Room was clean but small with no natural light (common in Vietnam) and pool was great but not sure the last time the “bar” was actually running. Breakfast not great for dietary requirements and complimentary afternoon was a plate of 5 small cakes left in the empty dining room. Great for a 2.5/3 star hotel.

I spent a night at Cititel Central Saigon Hotel. The hotel is located at the busy Ly Tu Trong Street, just a short walking distance to the famous Benh Thanh market. Location: Convenient and accessible to many local restaurants, convenient stores, pubs and massages. Easy to locate it as it is just behind the New World hotel or Paradise Saigon hotel. Room: Spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. Bathroom is spacious too. Service: Staff are polite, speak fluently, and efficient in check in and check out process. Breakfast: Simple but delicious. Amazing to see delicious club sandwiches and garlic breads prepared by the chefs and this is unique! Excellent! Value for money stay and I did enjoy staying at Cititel Central Saigon. Best Value Hotel in HCMC ive stayed at so far !!! . After checking out reviews i picked this Hotel to stay at for the last 2 days of our holiday as our melbourne flight leaves at 9.00pm we generally book to have a base until early evening so i was looking for a more modestly priced hotel to stay the last nights . This trip we chose to stay in some of Classic Hotels in the 5 star range at HCMC ,HOI An ,Hue. i was expecting a good to mediocre hotel however The Grand Silverland Hotel & Spa is now at the top of my list ticking all the boxes From arrival to departure i was totally impressed The hotel staff and managers are excellent well trained and very helpful , Taking care of things like airport transfers and phoning checking airline reservations recommending shops that actually can supply your needs . The fastest and easiest check in ever ( They actually take you to your room to complete check in which is great for weary travelers ) Room - Silverland Suite was well appointed clean and had a multi function Jacuzzi portal Location is perfect a few steps from the market and all the sights of district 1 Roof top pool and bar small but fantastic Great spa and massage. Great Breakfast Really the best value for money . Five star service at 3.5 star prices Wish we were still there !!

First, the disadvantage of this hotel's biggest one is the 'location'. It is a very good location based on the "accessibility" with the Ho Chi Minh attractions, but it is noisy at night because it is located on De Tham street, which is crowded with clubs and nightlife. They may be sensitive to noise, older, or may not fit well with family units. It is a good hotel to choose for young people who like to play with fun. I think it is a 5 star hotel that can be met at a price of $ 40-50. The kindness of all the staff was close to perfection, so that we could forget some of the disadvantages. The room was small, but the structure was made efficient, and I was able to feel the consideration and effort using good furniture and facilities. Especially breakfast was much better than other hotel's buffet, a la carte and basic dishes, all the ingredients and juice were always fresh. I have written a review based on experience using dozens of hotels across Vietnam for business trips.

Harmony Saigon hotel had everything one could expect in a 4 star hotel -- elegant lobby, modern guest room, quality facilities, tasty food, and good location. However, what impressed me most was the considerate and professional hotel staff. It was on the second day of our stay when my wife suffered a sudden vertigo and vomiting during breakfast. As a tourist who didn't understand a single word of Vietnamese, I could only seek for the help of restaurant manager. Without any hesitation, the manager called reception to arrange transportation and contact an international hospital immediately. When he escorted us to the lobby, a cab was already waiting for us. Upon arriving at hospital, my wife was attended by a doctor immediately, thanks to the pre-registration by another hotel staff. Fortunately, after a few hours' checkup and infusion, my wife was confirmed no big issue and released home. Surprisingly, the same staff was still waiting outside for us. My heart was really touched at that moment. When we reached hotel, the general manager gave us a warm greeting, and a restaurant staff delivered porridge to our room. My wife recovered fast and we had a pleasant trip in the following days. Before checking out the hotel, we reminded the reception staff to settle the bill incurred by the emergency. I was surprised again when he told me all the cost had been waived by the general manager. I have stayed at about twenty 4 or 5-star hotels worldwide. The experience at Harmony Saigon Hotel was unique and well beyond my expectation. I would like to express my hearted appreciation to the hotel staff and wish them all the best.
