Hotels near Odori Park

The location is an absolute win, it's within shopping arcade Chome 5, few minutes walk from Susukino and Odori station via Pole Town (underground shopping mall), which also means you can go to Odori Park within minutes on foot. If you're coming/going by airport shuttle bus it's even more convenient, the bus stop is just 1 minute away from the hotel. Like the relax area on 2nd floor, the onsen and outdoor jacuzzi, the massage chairs only cost ¥100 for 10mins, vending machines and lots of seating area, you can hang out here while waiting for your self-service laundry on the same floor.

VESSEL INN is very conveniently located, minutes from Nakajimakoen subway/ two stops away from Sapporo Train Station and Stellar Place that has seven floors of shops, restaurants, and a cinema. The JR INFORMATION DESK is located near the Sapporo Train Station North Exit, where Rail Passes can be activated/ and, reservation made on the bullet trains to outlying areas. VESSEL INN neighbors Nakajima Park, with the modern SAPPORO CONCERT HALL (presently featuring the PACIFIC MUSIC FESTIVAL) located here. VESSEL INN is walkable to SUSKINO, known for hopping night life, popular restaurants and bars, and clubs buzzing with action. This is the Entertainment section of town. The street fronting VESSEL INN goes into SUSKINO, then straightaway into ODORI PARK, that dissects the city. A long, large park, that famously hosts the SAPPORO SNOW FESTIVAL in February. VESSEL INN is a clean and orderly accommodation, high ceiling lobby, glassed-in, well lit at night. Recommended.

The service provided by the front desk was amazing. We (a group of four) were having trouble due to the train delay (bad weather in asahikawa) and chose to stay in Sapporo. It was a last min booking (2 mins before stepping into the hotel) and we never regret it. As we have made a car booking in Asahikawa, we had to trouble the front desk staff to assist in speaking to the car company in Asahikawa. In particular, a staff - Ishikawa (石川) was able to communicate well in English (he helped us to speak to the staff in asahikawa and made the necessary cancelation and rebooking of car in Sapporo). He took at least an hour to answer our enquiries and put in the extra effort to helped us rebook the car. Besides that, this is absolutely worth the money (it's the cheapest hotel with great facilitates and clean bathroom). It's a distance from the Sapporo tourist area (e.g odori park, govt house, tv tower, shopping districts) - about 10-15 mins walk.

Spent some time looking for the hotel using the underground entrance. There are two "Number 8" exits on the underground street, and it is the one nearer to Odori park. Just remember, it is the exit which is more modern looking, and upscale in appearance, with a sign showing "Sapporo Grand Hotel". My booking rate did not include breakfast, but there is a Starbucks on ground floor (open at 7.30am), and a 7-eleven just outside the entrance with good selection of instant food. A famous Ramen shop (rated one of the top 10 in Japan) is just on the opposite street. It is 8-10 min walk to Sapporo JR station, which has several shopping centers, food courts, fast foods, restaurants connected to it. The service at the hotel is great, and I will definitely consider coming back again next time.

This is the best hotel we have stayed in during our whole Japan trip. Much better than most hotels in Tokyo (in size and price). This is very near the subway which makes it convenient to travel to known tourist spots. A convenient store is also located just right beside the hotel. A few meters walk you will be in Susukino where most of the malls and restaurants are. Also 1 stop away from Odori Park. Great location and will definitely stay in the same hotel when we come visit Sapporo again soon.

The hotel located opposite Odori Park so from the room you are able to the beautiful view of Odori Park. The hotel is very near to a subway station called Nishi Hatchome. If you want to go to Odori and shopping area, you need to walk a bit of distance. The room is just a simple room with basic amenities and quite spacious for 2 of us with 2 big luggages. The staffs speak very well English and always provide info for us when we ask. Overall, this hotel is good for a short stay.

Great location! Sapporo station is actually just across the street. But since the station is so big, it will take about 5 mins walk. There's an underground pass from Sapporo station to the hotel. However, we were not able to use it because we were there during the "golden week" (5 days holiday) and the passage is closed during Sundays and holidays. If you have heavy or lots of luggage, better to just go out the station and cross the street to avoid the flight of stairs from the underground pass. From JR Sapporo station, take the west exit. Then go out the south exit, turn right then you'll see the hotel in front of you... There's Family Mart at the ground floor which also has passage to the hotel. About 5 mins walk to former Hokkaido Govt office. 10 mins walk to clock tower. 12 mins walk to Odori Park. And 15 mins walk to TV tower... Room, toilet, and bathroom are big enough unlike usual hotels in Tokyo.. Breakfast buffet is superb! Lot's of choices and awarded by TripAdvisor.

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Mitsui Garden Hotel and will most certainly return if I'm back in Sapporo again. Extremely convenient to Sapporo station and not far from Odori Park. The hotel has a boutique hotel feeling to it and is clean and modern. Breakfast was very good and I like that there is a nice calming aromatherapy in the lobby when you walk into the hotel. Very nice front desk staff who were very helpful with all of my questions. The Bath/onsen was also a great plus.

We chose La'gent Stay as the last hotel before departing from Sapporo at the end of our Hakkaido holidays. It was a great location. The hotel is very clean, quite spacious and offers great buffet breakfast. It is quite modern and the Onsen facilities were great What was the greatest advantage is the location. It is just one street away from the shopping mall, a few streets away from Odori park and walking distance from the Seafood market. There are many good eateries around the area if you drive, you need to pay for parking since this is in Sapporo. But we parked the car and just walked to most of the places until it was time to depart for the airport We will definitely come back to this hotel in our next trip to Sapporo

The hotel is clean and comfortable. Although the room size is small, but it's a cozy and affordable hotel in the middle of the Odori Park. Walking distance to food, convenient stores, and Sapporo Tower. The only thing you need to pay attention is parking. I parked at the garage in the business building around the corner, and it is not cheap. But it is kinda expected at Sapporo downtown. Overall, I am satisfied with this hotel.

hotel is so conveniently located, just a block away from the north exit of the jr station. staff was very helpful and after we returned from our days of touring they recognized us and gracefully handed us our rooms keys. within walking distance to the odori park and the government buildings. the malls of sapporo are close to the hotel. enjoyed sapporo ramen at the esta plaza. will definitely stay here again when we return to sapporo. also, the breakfast buffet was excellent, they offered american, as well as an excellent japanese selection of great foods.

Place is close to JR Sapporo Station w/c is the main station when visiting Sapporo, food and attractions are walking distance through the underground passage such as Odori Park (love it in winter), Clock tower beautiful when snowing, Susukino, and other stuffs. The room is quite small but room is comfortable. I love the bathroom, it's pretty huge for Japan. Clean and really homey. Highly recommended. Reception is 24/7 and there's free coffee and tea available as well. They have a seafood restaurant at the ground floor, cheap and tasty. Accessible too when going to moerenuma park, beautiful place during winter. If you want to play with snow and have fun without paying dollars, you can bring your family here. Free and you can also bring some of your skiing tools to try for free as well.

Hosui-susukino station just outside the hotel, airport limousine station is one block away, everything within walking distance - ramen alley, sapporo tv tower, sapporo clock tower, nijo market, odori park, ramen alley, sapporo station. We did not spend on subway anymore as everything is within walking distance. Hotel room is a bit small but bed is so comfortable. Breakfast is simple but good. Checking in and out is very fast. Would definitely stay here again.

close to the sapporo station and odori park area | relatively bigger rooms compared to average hotel room size in japan | very nice interior (it feels like we're in europe) | it has the basic amenities that you need: toiletries, pajamas, hair dryer, hot/cold water, heated toilet seat with bidet, deodorizer spray for clothes and shoes, bottled water (although you can safely drink from the tap almost anywhere in japan), tea and water heater | friendly staff | hassle-free check in and check out highly recommended and we will stay here again when we visit sapporo next time with family and/or friends! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Opted for the Premier Large twin room, which is about 25% more expensive than their superior rooms but well worth the extra money for the extra 10sqm of space. You don't get that kind of space often in Japan. Large room, lots of space for packing luggage and attached very large bathroom. Staff is friendly and helpful. Location is awesome, close to JR and Odori Park. A very convenient 7-11 across the street and Family Mart about 2mins walk away. Highly recommended overall!

I believe it's the hotel with the best location in Sapporo! It's right next to JR station, which means it's extremely convenient to go to the airport or travel by JR to other cities in Hokkaido. Paseo and other department stores are just in a 3 minute walking distance. You can also walk to the Odori park in twenty minutes, there are many shops and restaurants around Odori Park.

As we took the train from Airport to Sapporo city, it was so easy for us to find the hotel as it was very close to the train station, just a 5 minutes walks. Besides, u just need to walk through a tunnel around 15 minutes to reach Odori Park (Sapporo Ice Festival). The staff can speak basic English, it might take a while for them to answer your questions, but they don't give up easily and will try their very best to help. Light breakfast is provided, including Hokkaido milk, salad and yogurt etc. You can go online in the hotel room as WiFi service is available. Really hope that the hotel did provide public bath, then it will be more relaxing.

Located between Aeon and Coop.. Big hotel. Buffet Breakfast spread is huge. Left side western and right side Japanese. Dinning area is ballroom size. However very strict on breakfast timing. Ends at 10am sharp.. which means leave the area at 10am regardless. Staff service was a little inconsistent. Maybe some can't speak English well, but the guys generally provided better service than the girls. Mr Yuki Gonohe was one of them, he tried his best to assist me with location to places and provided detail information. Onsen is big and clean. Indoor and outdoor. Parking and wifi is free.

The Sapporo Park hotel is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at in Japan, and I would definitely consider coming back. The staff and service levels are excellent, and the breakfast is good. I had a problem with my reservation when I checked in over the Christmas period – my own fault – but the staff and management at Front Desk were very helpful and they resolved my reservation issue straight away. The hotel is walking distance to shops and restaurants, and just minutes away from the main streets. The subway station is also right next to the hotel, and located one stop away from central Susukino and Odori stations. There is also a hotel shop downstairs in the lobby if you need snacks and drinks. The room is nice and comfortable, although still small as usual for Japanese hotels. I booked a family room and had expected it to be bigger. But it is just a standard room with an extra bed in it. If you get a room facing the park, the views are just gorgeous. The park next to the hotel is lovely, we were there over winter, and it was still so nice to go for a walk there. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and we have nothing to complain about. I will definitely consider staying here again if I ever return to Sapporo.

The hotel was so good, I literally bothered to even leave them a review on Google! CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS FANTASTIC! They spoke super good english (this young fair lady, sorry did not get her name). We were travelling around Hokkaido, Osaka, Kyoto for a total of 12 to 13 days. This was the BEST hotel among all the hotels we stayed at. I wished all the hotels had such good service, such good breakfast, and such good locations. If you want to rent a car (we were just lucky TIMES CAR was just across the road, like 1 min walk), we did not know it was this close to the hotel when we initially booked the car online 3 months prior to arriving to SAPPORO. 1st day of our JAPAN trip, we arrived in SAPPORO, there is a CHUO bus to the HOTEL (it stops across the road 1 ~ 2 min walk from IBIS Styles but it only starts at 12pm from the airport, but from the hotel to the airport, it starts at 7.45am. So we took another CHUO bus, that stops slightly further away from IBIS Styles hotel, this bus stop was a 7min walk to the hotel... Reached the hotel around 11.45am or so, as it was raining heavily, and we were soaking from the rain, I asked if we could have early check in, and they said they would try their best to speed up house keeping for us (within an hour). So I said ok, we will go for lunch and come back. As i walked to my family in the lobby sitting area, trying to pack and dry our luggage before leaving them with the conceirge (the lady saw how tired and soaking wet we were from the storm outside) she actually quickly made arrangements, came to us and said that the rooms will be ready in 10 mins. MY HEART WAS FILLED WITH GRATEFULNESS. SHE WENT UP WITH US TO THE ROOMS, just to make sure the rooms were ready. WOW! SUPER SUPER SUPER THANKFUL. We took hot showers, rested before heading out for lunch. Oh yes, and they serve super good breakfast. I am not a breakfast person, I prefer to sleep in... This is my second time staying with Cross Hotel in Japan, 1st time in Kyoto last year .. Both time their services render are exceptional in the sense of helpful in customer service . As we’re in Sapporo for 1 night with another hotel n the next day we travel to Furano for a night before we return to Sapporo for our stay with Cross Sapporo, the front desk are obliging n helpful by keeping our 2 big luggages as we do not want to bring with us to Furano just for 1 night .. On our return to Sapporo for our 3 nights stay with Cross on 1 Feb 19, after checking in n we request for 2 lugggges , I was told it’s already in our room, small gesture do makes a difference in delighting a customer .. overall the room are consider spacious in Japanese standard .. clean n nice interior which is similar to the other hotel in Cross Kyoto.. Location wise it’s close to Sapporo JR station and also Odori Park, quite a few restaurants just a minute walk away .. Free drink at bar during happy hours .

This hotel was a little different to other Japanese hotels I've stayed in, in that it had a more European design. English was no problem with the staff that checked me in (& out). The room was very comfortable and of a good size for a "single". A double bed and full sized bath are provided and I had plenty of room for my suitcase and a place to sit and relax. The location was within easy walking distance of the Station, and equally close to Odori Park and an underground shopping mall.

We were driving so we didn't pay a lot of attention to the location of the hotel when we booked, but it was amazing close to the morning seafood marketing, the shopping street and Odori Park (5 mins walk), so you can simply get everything in walking distance. The hotel is very new and clean, and the room is big (we booked a 3-person room, and we all went with big luggages and snowboards but everything can fit in very well in the spacious room). The staff cannot really speak English, but they are helpful and would try hard to understand your needs. The hotel offers parking space but at a cost of 1500yen a day, quite expensive.

We were taken by surprise of the special treatment the moment we arrived at the hotel. A staff standing outside the front entrance, push a trolley and helps us with our baggages. After checked in, the baggages were delivered to our rooms. First of its kind experience in Japan. We were in for a second surprise for an extremely big, spacious room and even bathroom and toilet which we rarely find it in Japan hotels. It’s value for money. We were in for the comfort of these hotel rooms. Had a wonderful stay and staff able to communicate in English. Hotel provided free shuttle bus to Sapporo Station for our shopping spree in the heart of Sapporo city centre and various attractions like Odori Park, TV Tower, etc. We, then walked back leisurely to our hotel which took us around 15 minutes. Surrounding the hotel, are Lawson and we discovered an authentic Japanese meals with very reasonable price nearby.

Everything is great, location, facility, bed, shower, bathtub and everything. The only two things that I'd like to have are; - Free 1 parking space (since all of my travelling in Hokkaido is by self-driving) - Free bottles of water Other than that, everything is great, very close to Nijo market (the morning fish market), close to Odori park and close to Tanukikoji shopping street!!!

The hotel is a bit inconspicuous and hard to find initially - an easier way to find the hotel is to look for the restaurant with a giant crab at the entrance - Mercure Hotel directly faces the giant crab. Location cannot be better. Many sightseeing spots within walking distance such as Odori Park, Sapporo TV Tower, Sapporo Clock Tower, Nijo Market, Nakajima Park. Many places to shop nearby such as La Filer (where there is a supermarket at the basement - very useful), Tanukikoji, a huge DAISO (100-yen shop) and the underground shopping arcade starting from Susukino station. Plenty to eat around the hotel, some eateries open 24 hours. Easy access to public transport: Susukino station a short walk away, airport limousine bus-stop just across the road. There is a Lawson convenience store just beside the hotel. There is also a Sapporo Drug Store which opens till 3am nearby in case you need medication. WIFI in the room is the best I have experienced in any hotel - very fast and every room has a unique connection point. If you drive, the carpark is right next to the hotel entrance and costs 1200yen per day.
