Our stay at Apo View was without drama. A clean and friendly establishment with attentive and accommodating staff. Value for money, but as an older establishment does not provide all the bells and whistles of a new 5 star development. The rooms were of generous proportions, the beds comfortable, the air conditioning sufficient but the accouterments scarce. Water supply was plentiful, but was very slow in reaching the required temperature for an enjoyable shower. The meals offered were adequate, the cafe suitable, the bar well-stocked even though it doubles as a karaoke area which is not concomitant for a relaxing after dinner drink. The pool area was underutilized and suffered from an over supply of chlorine in the water making it very difficult to enjoy as it was dangerous for eye health. The attached Casino was small by nature with limited games available.... this did not have any impact on the security of friendliness of the hotel itself. The garden offed options for relaxatio

One of the best experiences in Davao was our stay in Seda Abreeza....really enjoyed my stay in Davao coz of my comfortable stay in Seda. After the tiring day in strolling around Davao, we had a nice stay in our hotel, very comfy,friendly staffs,walking distance to Abreeza mall is a plus,and my 3 year old son also enjoyed our first visit in Davao. Honestly,before I booked in a hotel the reviews really help me,BUT good thing I also use my instincts...coz I also read bad comments,like small pool,small lobby,small dining area,even the bathroom,small room,,,what more do you expect, you can't please everyone and some people are very perfectionist...Comparing the hotel to expensive hotels in Manila?! Duh! Sometimes, think also the price of your hotel, don't expect too much if the hotel is affordable....if you're a perfectionist costumer, pay a hotel worth 20k per night,and when it's not worth it, that's the time for you to complain...😝 I will definitely go back there with my family again! Booked the executive suite but had to add extra bed, as I was expecting 2 bedrooms but it only had 1. Facilities were great because it is relatively a new hotel. Staff were attentive and warm. They attended to my needs promptly and check in was a breeze. Beds were soft and comfy. Toiletries were sufficient. Breakfast buffet was average and had limited spread but relatively cheap (250/head). Jacuzzi was the best part of the stay and the staff was nice enough to turn it on for us.The only thing I didn't like about this place is the views from the room. Everywhere I looked it was roofs and streets. Other than this, Im very happy with my stay at the pinnacle.

I was booking at green windows dormitel a few months before staying there, the hotel is an FTC tower building and the green windows is located at the fifth floor. One block of the ground floor building is the entrance to the hotel, and it has an elevator and a stairway spiral with green glass walls to walk through in case you need some variation in mode of transport to the hotel floors. On arrival we were told that the room is a no smoking room and the cafeteria is at at the fifth floor where we can have our free breakfast. The staff is friendly and courteous enough to receive us, and lead us to our room at the 6th floor. The hallway is large enough and is carpeted. The room is just enough, the noise outside can not be heard inside the room, it has a cable tv a very cold aircon which we have to adjust the temperature from time to time. The hotel is a new hotel just a year old since operation. The walls of the hotel is made of green out p but without windows. The tree and the grasses that surrounds the hotel as seen online is non existing as it is surrounded by residences with old buildings. Overall, the hotel is a good place to stay as it is within the city center and close to other establishments, the people's park is just a walking distance where we roamed on Christmas night. Security is very important as well as there is a guard in every hotel floor, we have not lost any belonging.

I stayed here with my mom. The hotel is a bit old but their services are all "up to date". When we arrived at the hotel, a staff approached us immediately and offered assistance with our stuffs (mind you there's a lot). Upon arriving at the reception area, the receptionists greeted us with a smile and immediately processed us for check in then the same staff assisted us to our room. Inside our room are two single beds (since I booked for twin with breakfast). Unexpectedly the room was carpeted (not smelly and it felt clean). The T&B was clean as well with 2 towels, soap and shampoo. The room was quiet and we were able to have a good night sleep. The breakfast I believe was just enough in terns of quantity and the amount we have paid for. The staff at the cafe was very approachable as well. We checked out at 10:30 AM since we are going to the mall before going home, we have deposited our luggage and other stuffs at the hotel. They readily and willingly accepted our items. At 3:30 PM we came back to pick up our deposited items and repacked our things to fit into 2 plastic bins. Again, they (the staff) offered us assistance and called a taxi for us. All in all it was a great experience and I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family!P.S. There is a decent-sized swimming pool however due to our tight schedule I haven't tried it.

Hello! I highly recommend this hotel in Davao city. The staff are friendly and will give you the best service possible. The room is clean as well as the bathroom. My accommodation includes buffet breakfast and I'm giving the breakfast food selections 5 stars. Few things that can be improved is their hot shower, please have it checked because your guests will highly favored hot showers in the evening after a long tiring day. The bathroom includes a bath tub which needed to have another look specifically the water stopper because it wasn't really working well. I would have wanted to enjoy a hot tub but I couldn't save water. I didn't bother to call and have it fix during my stay as I was already tired to wait for someone to take a look at it -- so this is for your future guests. Overall, it's worth the money staying at TRMH. Thank you.

Very good stay in the end. Had booked the last room available in Agoda around this season. I was very pleased that the front desk facilitated my request to upgrade during check in. One of the staff on duty named Andrew has kindly offered to show the rooms first for me to decide and I was very pleased with that as it added a pleasant experience during our overall stay. Local breakfast cuisine was served in the restaurant area. Great to catch up with family and friends who came to see us and good location although parking is not as convenient as we would like it to be. This is located in downtown area so easy access to local restaurants, transportation and other attractions in Davao City. The hotel has a homey feeling and credit to their staff who are willing to take an extra mile in making their guests visit a comfortable and pleasant.

staff were prepared upon my arrival, no time was wasted to look into their computer monitors and verify booking, etc. i was given my room and keys immediately. the room is new and very clean, linens are clean too and smell nice. ac, cable tv and hot/air shower are all working. no lift is available but there is a wide open space that serves as a lounge area where one can eat or drink or entertain guests. wifi is available too, not only in the lounge areas but in the rooms as well. staff are very friendly, accommodating and polite. food service is available too. also, one can easily ask for delivery from jollibee, mcdonalds, chowking, etc. without extra cost. the hotel is near gaisano mall and the sta. ana church. many affordable places to eat are also nearby if budget is tight. cabs are easily available too. i will certainly book with this hotel once i return to davao city.

Clean bed and bath. Hot shower. Good AC and TV. WiFi was too slow, but when on-the-go, mobile data is good and fast enough. No free toiletries, but I always bring my own, no big deal. Only a handful of parking spots, empty during school/office hours. Super friendly staff. Abreeza nearby, too hot to walk though. Sikad, jeeps and taxis pass by. Overall, a simple and cozy stay.

i rather liked this hotel. clearly when it was first built it was probably five star but over the years it has matured like a fine wine. some may say it needs a coat of paint here and there but in my view all the essential things worked well. the bathroom was spacious but the water at times could have been hotter. the breakfast was very adequate and if there was something you wanted, like cereal, which they did not have they would get you your own special bowl! i thought the area round the pool could have been livelier and the ability to buy alcoholic drinks throughout the hotel could have been improved. it seems that beer and soft drinks were the order of the day. staff were superb and overall we had a nice stay. location was central near most of what you might need. downstairs they had a ballroom dancing club where you could buy drinks but to the accompaniment of tango music and many couples dancing rather reminiscent of the grand hotel eastbourne and another era!

Hotel Uno has a nice reception area but is not as pictured; a full-wall mirror makes it look much larger in picture, and the golden chandelier glow was only used for the photography effect. In practice they never actually turn on that chandelier, so the reception area, although nice, remains pale white and relatively small. At the time this was the best hotel for the money I had stayed at in the Philippines. The rooms are nice and the bathrooms are relatively large. My first room was LOUD due to honking, jackhammer, and buzzsaw noise on the street, so I transferred to a MUCH quieter room at the back of the hotel and rebooked there in-person as well. But when I transferred rooms I noticed a disturbing security flaw. The hotel keycards weren't working at the time, so they give you the physical override keys for the room locks. During transfer I had my old room's key and was waiting in front of the new room, which was locked, while the attendant brought up the new room's key. I tried the old room key on the new room door, and sure enough it opened it, despite the keys having different configurations. This suggests any one key could open a number of doors in the hotel, if not all of them. Very disturbing, although I didn't have any incidents. A final note: Davao is considered the cleanest city in the Philippines but this comes at a cost. Anyone visiting there should know that the longtime mayor Duterte (ironically a former lawyer) is an extremely violent, Saddam Hussen-style psychopath whose most notorious deed is setting up a still-operating outfit known as the Davao Death Squad which summarily executes drug runners and other criminals (go ahead, Google it). If you do visit Davao keep in mind that this guy is both crazy and very powerful there, so be on your BEST behavior.

I booked and check-in a standard room the same day, I really like using agoda for rushed booking because you can still get great and cheap deals for hotel like this. and what i stated in my booking request was delivered by this hotel. We had a smooth check-in. Though our only purpose is just to get a comfy rest through the night, there is a night market in the area if you want to go a little shopping and explore davao street food. My only concern is the hotel is still using an old fashioned door knob lock system and this kind of lock doesn't make you feel secure when leaving your stuff in the room. But overall our stay is very good with free breakfast. I can stay in this hotel again.

the hotel staff was great, very helpful, though housekeeping could have been more at times consistent with keeping the room with more shower floor mates, sometimes hit or miss, room was comfortable, clean. The front desk personnel always helpful and very knowledgeable. the restaurant " tiggos" attached to hotel, the food was not bad but they were very inconsistent with their portions and found a thumb tack in my fiancées food. After that we never ate there again.

The location is👍. Walking distance to people's park. You can do jogging at the park early morning, many people do it and it feels like home. Bank's are nearby, so if easy to withdraw if you become broke 😁😂. The city hall, cathedral, parks, museo dabawenyo are within reach by foot. Enjoy walking because it's good as exercise. Not far from the museo dabawenyo is the D Bone musuem, make sure not to miss this. Museo dabawenyo and D bone musuem has tour guide, they give very informative details. It's 👍👍. Few blocks away from the hotel is the Penong's and Saging Repablik which happen to be in my itinerary, which makes the it great place to stay. Roxas night market, pasalubong center, bankerohan market, aldhevinco shopping center and Gmall are all within reach by foot. So enjoy walking.😊👣 711 is the nearest convenient store which is 3-5 minutes walk (depend how you walk 🚶) For the price, book day before or within the day, it is much cheaper. 😊👍 Before leaving the hotel, you triple check your belongings. Because during check out they will not inspect your room. After you hand over the keys, they will just say that you're good to go. The cleans are room, during check in they have this form, you have options if you like them to clean the room or not. This makes you feel more secure that once you leave the room on day time, they will not enter without your permission. So it's 👍👍👍

The best thing is the location, right in the centre of the city. It is very lively and interesting in this area and you can get a taxi anywhere very easily. I have stayed here many times over the last 7 years. This visit, I notoced tje wifi connection was much better. Staff were helpful too. There are no real facilities such as a pool etc but for the price it is really good. I'll stay again when I come back.

i had a great stay with my brother and nieces.rooms are big with a receiving area on the first floor with kitchen and extra comfort room. complimentary breakfast is great and staff are friendly. great swimming pool which is free to use. availability of wifi but need to purchase a card to access. i suggest that it will be better if they offer wifi access for free. i am looking forward to book in again on this hotel and will recommend this place to my friends with huge family. i am sure that they will enjoy their stay while exploring davao city.

Don Manaloto, the General Manager, is hands-on in the operation of the hotel-- one major factor why service is excellent. Every staff goes out of his way to provide total guest satisfaction. The location is best for guests who would like to be "far from the maddening crowd" yet close to the activity centres of the city. I commend Ronald who drove us around the various destinations in Davao City and also Abby, the Front Office Manager, who has trained her front-liners to always wear a smile and patiently attend to the requirements of the guests. I recommend this place to everyone-- value for money, a three-star facility with a five-star service excellence. I hope to be back for the Kadayawan 2016 event this August.

We booked a one-night stay at the Ponce Suites Gallery Hotel but had to move to another hotel at around midnight because an elderly member of our family found the artwork unsettling. That, of course, was by no means the hotel's fault and just goes to show that this hotel is most ideal for those who appreciate all things out of the ordinary. The walls of the corridors are covered floor to ceiling in photographs, paintings and sculptures. Not everyone may appreciate the artwork, but the experience of seeing them and how they turn the entire hotel into an art gallery is in itself engaging. The rooms are spartan but at the price they are offered at with breakfast included in the room rate, it is all beyond reasonable. Front desk staff may seem a tad shy but they immediately attend to guest's needs. The owner's sister responded to our email inquiries and she was a delight to correspond with. She even gave us a free room upgrade. Pizza at the restaurant was served with slices of Davao sausages, a flavor profile as unique as the hotel itself. All things considered, value for money is beyond compare.

The hotel is strategically located; it is near restaurants, some tourist spots, and shopping area. The staff are also friendly and will go out of their way to provide good service. We have 2 separate bookings for this hotel since we need a place to stay for the night once we land in Davao, afterwhich we have to go to Kidapawan for the next 3days for our mountain climbing adventure, before going back to Davao for our 2day city tour. The hotel is kind enough to let us leave our other stuff that we wouldn't be using during the climb. Also, on the early morning that we are to leave for Kidapawan, instead of just telling us what vehicle will take us to the bus terminal, they waited with us on the street until we get on our vehicle.

Zen room is located inside Alu hotel. I checked the prices in Alu hotel and the cheapest room is Php2000 but I only paid Php910 for the room I booked here in Zen room. hehehe Thank you Agoda for the vouchers. It's cheap but the room is very spacious!! My boyfriend and I really loved it because it's clean, has a huge bed and the ambiance is very relaxing. It is right in front of Roxas Night Market so it's the best! The staff are also very kind. Our room was on the 4th floor but they have an elevator :D I would definitely come back here!

I was satisfied from the previous stays in the hotel but the latest was I noticed that the floor in our room was dirty and the bathroom seems not cleaned well...although the air conditioning,linens and staff were satisfactorily ok..the internet should be used until the rooms not only in the lounge area...I suggest that the floor in the room and the bathroom must be bleached and washed well..thank you

Pros: very spacious rooms (family and suites room), accessibility, cheap and budget hotel, relatively clean, security, lobby with hot and cold water, coffee available instantly, very homey environment Cons: Check in is 3pm onwards (they dont allow early check in but u can drop ur luggage at the reception), very poor t.v. signal, hot shower not consistently hot, kinda low water pressure in the morning, so-so beddings and linens Overall it was great for its price.

Highly recomended to all city goers. quality for little money..Great place, great staff Well what a suprize i got when staying at this place. We are talking of traveling down a very busy filipino street thats buzzing with life. The area very comercialized with every day life of a filipino man/women. Food places where you can buy steak and rice with ice tea for less than £1, Stores from pharmacy to foods. Internaional banks. Airport just 30 mins away for as little as 110 pesos thats less than £2. A beach area to paradise and blue jazz island resorts. Its endless. From my exsperience the hotels ide stayed at from £35 up the quality i would call bad,, Like an english hostal with very basic rooms. Not here!.... I thought what am i going to get here... I entered what looked like a converted High rise house. On entering I was greeted by security and reception staff with a very warm welcoming. The first thing I noticed was how clean and new it looked. Walking up the stairs on marble floors I thought no It can not be true.. It was like walking through time.. 1940s outside 2010 inside. I opened my room door to be hit by this cool breeze from the air con and a real clean well dressed room. Double glazing and just unbelievable from what i had stayed in all week.this room cost me for 2 persons and was worth every penny. If you want quality for the money u pay being so little then this is the place. I am highley reomending this place. When Im in Davao next i will not even think of looking elsewhere. I wish the owner and the staff of this place the best. Well done for such a beautiful maintained place.
