Really love this hotel! It is close to everything you need -shopping food transport. I travelled with my husband and 5yo child, older parents. Since we travelled with older person we need to stay in a hotel that close to everything- restaurant food court convenience stores especially the shopping place. We didnt pay for the breakfast since there are many restaurants and food courts open starts from 8.30 am. You can go to takasimaya food court, wisma atria food court, Toast Box in wisma atria and one just accrossed the Mt Elizabeth Hospital (behind the Paragon Mall). For malayu and indonesian who always starving for Padangs food you need to go Orchard central there is Garuda Padang Food there. Many convenience stores such as seven eleven close to the hotel. Close to public transport Bus just acrossed the hotel. ORCHARD MRT Stat is in Wisma Atria Plaza (at the left) also Somerset MRT Stat is in Orchard Central Plaza (at the right). The best hotel for you who need to be closed to everything that you needs!

If you want value for your money then you have one of the top 3 contenders at Yotel SG. If you want value for your money and location, then look no further as this hotel is a must at the top of your list. The walk to Orchard is a very very short distance. You're almost central to Orchard as you could consider yourself one step away from all that shopping. Plenty of food around one corner and go the opposite corner, they're there just as well. I definitely would stay at the hotel again. Rooms might be small for some as they might want to have the space to wind down. Raising the bed allowed for more room to walk around. This is not a sneak in extra people place. Simply no room unless hard floor is fine. Warning, use those blinds in the bathroom. I showered and used the toilet a few times without the blinds down. Didn't realize you can see in. The other downside is the toilet, poor design or maybe my poo, but it leaves a little even after the flush. 4.5 stars from me

The hotel had a great location right on Orchard Road with shopping malls like TAKASHIMAYA and Paragon right nearby. The room was large and very comfortable and there was a large lap pool and bar on the fourth floor. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and taxis were plentiful outside the lobby. There is a great Vietnamese restaurant NUOC on the rooftop op Orchard Central a few blocks away. I would really recommend this hotel!

York hotel was one of the nostalgic hotel in Orchard area. I love this hotel because of its huge rooms and huge bathroom, if you book early, you can book a room with 2 kings size bed which could accommodate up to 4 adults. Location is not the best on Orchard Rd, but it is very good considered the comfort of a huge room and it's only 2 minutes walk to the Orchard Rd. and 1 minute walk to Paragon.

The hotel is a renovated hotel, so it has the advantage of a larger room with classic look. The drinking water machine is available in each room, with hot, room, and cold (which doesnt work) water. A mini fridge (with no compressor) is available, working in my room but not working in many. The rooftop swimming pool is available. It is located between Dobhy Ghaut and Sommerset MRT, both about 10 mins walk. A few shopping malls are nearby with 24-hour Donqi, 7-11, and food centers. A bit far of walk from Orchard MRT, so still need to talk MRT, especially with all your shopping bags. Hotel breakfast is very ordinary, may be you can have a fash ball noodle in Orchard Central next to the hotel :)

It was a lovely staycation over the weekend. The location was super convenient as we checked in after having brunch with friends in Orchard Central. We did some shopping and went back to the hotel to rest. The bed was comfortable. Room was clean and surprisingly spacious. Hotel staff were always friendly and acceded to our late check out request. The swimming pool was clean, nice and quiet on a Saturday morning. Upon checkout, the concierge recommended we visit the Istana as there was an Open Day. We did and it was a lovely activity. Great experience!!

after researching for 2 week for a hotel to stay close to orchard road i decided to stay in royal plaza on scotts due to its good reviews and fair price -compared to other hotels in orchard the service was top notch, the hotel is smaller compared to other hotels in orchard therefore people to help you with everything is always available location was good, not really along orchard but you got a mall on your left and right and a 24 hr starbucks and mcdonalds in front the wifi and complimentary mini bar is a super plus, you dont get that in other hoteks

This is a stylish and historic five star hotel near the heart of Singapore, the Orchard road. The Orchard MRT station is within 5 ~ 7 minutes walk, and there are many shopping malls, supermarkets, restaurants, and everything you might need around you. So, the location is very good. We stayed at the Parklane split-level studio. It's in a different building, and looks a bit more dated than the main hotel block. But it provides very spacious room - enough for 4 people or even more, it you're willing to pay for the extra bed. The split level studio is well equipped with kitchen and even washing machine, which is very helpful in the hot and humid weather of Singapore. The bathroom is also very clean and spacious. Some weaknesses are there, too. The building and the room itself are a bit dated. It needs renovation, but still, it is very well equipped, and it doesn't look cheesy. The room doesn't have a good view, either. We're on level 4, but I think other rooms will be the same. So, don't expect too much about its view. The staff are very nice and helpful. I'd give five stars to them. The pools are nice, too. Don't forget to bring swimwear with you. You won't be disappointed. Overall, it was very satisfactory, and I'd love to stay there again if I travel to Singapore with my family in the future.

We stayed for 3 nights here. The location is very nice. Its 5mins walk from Dhoby Ghaut MRT station near Plaza Singapora. It has 7-11 shops available near by so u can get your break fast/snack anytime while on your way out or back to hotel. It has a neat swimming pool on roof top accessible by lift 1 only with an outstanding view of the vicinity. Recommend a panoramic photo from there. Hotel has two entrances, the other one opens towards the main Orchard Road, where you can find a number of malls like Orchard Point, Orchard Central, Ngee Ann city center, 313 Somerset, Apple Store. This road has multiple bus stops. Get yourself a 3-days Singapore Tourist Pass for unlimited trips to MRT & Public busses. Both have a/c so thats a relieve in 35C temp during the day. The hotel has a Tour Desk where as i suggest using Klook app to book at activities ranging from Universal Studio, Sentosa fun pass, Zoo, Night Safari, Gardens by the bay, bird sanctuary etc. This way you will not need to stand in ticket lines. Just book and show the online receipt to the gate keepers who will let you in :) do visit asian museum on Raffles stop, Fullerton road for Merlion. Good quality shopping is available at Bugis Junction (Bugis stop via MRT and exit towards Bugis Junction). Do not goto Little India, its very dirty and a mall there with the name of Al Mustafa Center (although cheap) but has terrible / poor quality products. You will be disappointed. Visit East Coast bay near Marina bays for a quite beach spot. Good for camping. On your way out to Airport, book a taxi via Grab Ap and it will cost you a max of $17 SGD till terminal 4 airport. Upon arrival, get a $15 SGD sim from Klook app It will give you 100GB worth 4G internet And free calls to last you easily 8-10 days even. Pick up point at Cheers store on level 2. A superb friendly services from all the staffs from the front door to the housekeeper, it still maintains its 5 star quality very nicely, the room size is unlike the new hotels in SG & the cleanliness is extraordinaire. The buffet in the restaurant is halal. The only thing is that the pool is on the next building so you have to go down & go across through the mini garden. But overall if you are considering a 5* hotel in orchard better choose this one.

Our 4 nights stay with Orchard Hotel was great. We stayed at 2x Superior rooms as our boys stayed on the other room. The rooms were very clean and the beds were really cozy and comfortable to sleep in. The cleaner as we requested cleaned our rooms almost everyday. When we arrived the friendly Filipina staff, Mel checked us in and we requested that our 2 rooms be right next to each other. We got the requested rooms thanks to Mel. The following day I inquired with the Hotel's tour desk and we booked for our Sentosa, Night Safari and the Cheng Ho Dinner Cruise. On the times that we were not joining the local tours, we've been walking from our hotel down to Orchard Road. We basically entered most of the buildings and had been in and out of all the boutiques and high end shops. Gosh!!!! My leg hurts but it was a good excercise. During weekends we could see lot of Filipinos around Orchard Road. We tried taking the MRT experience going to Clark Quay to eat a crabby lunch at Jumbo Restaurant and then after a big meal we walked to Chinatown. The hotel's location was great. We just have to walk towards the road to start our trail going down to Orchard Road. On our last day we tried having lunch at the 2nd level Chinese Rest. They have a good selection of food there. Yum-cha's good too. Downstairs at the Cafe they have a very nice buffet lunch and dinner. I just looked on the food selections and they were nice too. We didn't try it, next time we will. Our overall experience with Orchard Hotel was an A plus. We will recommend to our family and friends to stay there when they visit Singapore. We like Singapore. I was staying here for 4 nights, from 5 - 9 Jan 2018 and I couldn't find a better hotel to stay in Singapore! Here is amazing! The location is great, not too far from Orchard central and there is a free shuttle bus from the hotel to Orchard to hotel again every 30 minutes everyday. The building is new and it gives you the clean and new vibes which is really good. The breakfast is really good, lots of food choices (the pastry, tho... Yuummmmm), and the tiramisu from room service is amazing! The swimming pool is also cool, I swam there every day. The staff, oh, they are all super helpful and kind. The room is so comfortable and clean, everything is new. Everything here makes me want to stay longer. Basically I will stay here again every time I visit Singapore.

We spent 4 nights from 19 Dec to 23 Dec 2017 at Shangrila Apartments, with 3 adults, and 4 years & 7 years kids. We booked apartment with 1 bedroom & extra bed. Location wise is very quiet and is within 13 minutes walking to Lucky Plaza. Small private buses are available to drive you to Orchards shopping centre area, with scheduled timetable, though. The staffs are professional, very responsive & have very good attitudes. Room is clean and have all standard apartment utilities, although the microwave is quite old (using old technology that is not as easy to use compared to the modern one). Booking with Agoda is very easy and the coordination with Shangrila Aprtments is two thumbs up. Overall, it is good value for the money with expected Shangrila standards. Ofcourse, We will come again.

The Supreme Hotel has very good location, just the city centre, near Orchard Road. It's easy to walk to either MRT Dhoby Ghaut as the main interchange station or bus stop, if you don't want to take a taxi. The room is not big but it is bigger than the budget hotel. Importantly, in spite of the old-style decorated room, it is very clean and neat. It is very easy for shopping on Orchard road, you just walk out from the hotel 2 minutes and you can reach Orchard Road already. Furthermore, you can get the food around the hotel, as there is one food court at Conconrde and there is one hawker center nearby. The hotel is closed to Grand Central hotel and near the Orchard Road. It's easy to go to Kwan-Im Goddess Temple, Bugis Junction or Mustafa.I will stay at the Supreme Hotel again, if I go to Singapore next time.

Singapore Hotels are quite expensive even their Hostels so booking with Holiday Inn Express is still considered a bit expensive as compared to rates in other countries we visited. But for Singapore, the rate is alright since all bookings include breakfast (though not extensive in choices but enough to start your day) and wifi (fast and quite reliable for browsing and posting in facebook). Hotel is located in between the Somerset and Orchard MRT - parallel to Orchard Road. You just have to look for Paragon Mall and go into that street then turn to Bideford St. and you'll immediately see the hotel. It is in front of a Mosque but the sound from the Mosque does not bother you especially when you are inside the room already. Personally we preferred to use the Orchard MRT since you'll just pass through Tang's and Lucky Plaza to get to the station. We did not experience any problems in checking in and out. Quite fast and hassle free. They offer free toiletries (sanitary napkin, shaver, etc), you just have to ask from the front desk. What we love about the room is their bathroom. They used a door that can close the main toilet and also the shower. Quite hard to explain and take a picture of but something that I appreciated since it's quirky and unique. We recommend this hotel and we'll definitely go back since we love IHG and we had a very nice and hassle free experience in this branch.

The property commands an excellent location, close to Scotts Rd and Orchard Road. Although on Stevens Rd, it is relatively quiet and serene. The room is very clean and smells fresh. The bed feels new and not saggy. We love the Papparich restaurant which is located next door, which offers great Malaysian hawker foods. We have no complaint about the Mercure on Stevens, especially the room rate this time around was relative fair for a 4 star property.

the hfc is well located in fort canning park (you must walk it)a green oasis in a vibrant city. it is walking disatnce to orchard road or down through the park to clarke quay. rooms are of a high standard. the glass house offers a fresh and sufficiently varied breakfast experience with good service. the bar and on site italian restaurant are both excellent. the pools were clean and quiet. check-in and check out was "clunky" - service was perfunctory and interrupted. staff were polite but not especially personable. they could benefit from a more personalised and attentive approach. we requested a complimentary upgrade and this was provided and appreciated. the room (premier king deluxe 228) was well appointed, clean and boutique. we liked this unique hotel thatfor us was more approachable than larger corporate 4-5 star hotels. would definately return and recommend hfc to others.

I have always stayed here when coming to Singapore. Singapore Marriott Hotel is the best and my most favourite hotel to stay when coming to Singapore, highly recommended especially if you are a shoppaholic. It is located exactly at the centre of the great Orchard Road which everyone knows is a shopping heaven for all shoppers. Around the hotel, there are several big shopping malls like the ION Orchard, Wisma Atria, Takashimaya, Shaw Centre, Wheelock Place, Far East Plaza, Tangs Plaza, Lucky Plaza, Paragon, and some other smaller shops scattered around the Orchard Road and all of them are only minutes of walking distance from the hotel. It is always be my first choice of hotel when coming to Singapore.

The location is absolutely superb. Only about 5minutes walk to Somerset station. Hotel is situated very close to shopping malls like Orchard Central and 313 (where you can find Somerset station). The service was very good. Housekeeping kept the rooms tidy and clean, and made sure toiletries were stocked. Every afternoon, one of the staff would deliver complimentary bottled water and ferrero rocher chocolates! They even offered "special" pillows like magnetic therapy, memory pillows, hypoallergenic pillows, etc., at your convenience. The rooms were really spacious with such a big window overlooking Orchard road. The rooms were good for 3-4 people. Big and spacious. There rooms were very comfortable to sleep in that we almost always overslept during the mornings. lol.

I booked and stayed in this hotel on the advice of another business colleague in Feb 10. Quite simply this is the best hotel I have stayed in to date. The staffs’ are very friendly and helpful, with the business centre being very accommodating for what I had to do. The line restaurant for breakfast is marvellous, the standard and quality of service was second to none. The hotel room was spacious and well equipped and overlooked the pool. The pool and surroundings are excellent and have a very tranquil feel about it, the pool staff attentive and helpful. The hotel is situated on Orange Grove Rd and not therefore as conveniently located as some other hotels but, this means that the hotel is away from the frenetic activity and noise of Singapore's Orchard Rd making it a relaxing and charming place to stay. I was so impressed with my stay I cancelled my reservation at another hotel in Bangkok the following week to stay at their sister hotel there.

The location is the main part of my review. The locations is a bit far from the central orchard (takasimaya, paragon, etc) require about 3-5 minute walk via underpass to there. A bit far from me because the last time i stay in mandarin orchard (this hotel is centrally located). I think the room is a bit small compare to other hotel that i've been stayed in singapore. Other than that the service and staff are hilton standard, whiches a good one. One of the restaurant at the hotel are claimed one of the 50th best restaurant in the world by the brochure in the hotel. Oh by the way it doesn't have free wi-fi whiches disappointing and one time i take a shower the water heater is not working like it supposed to do (only slightly warm compare from the other time i used the shower)

Overall it was an awesome experience. The room was spacious, nicely furnished and decorated, bathroom was big and cosy, bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel is located really close to Orchard Road, a good 20-minutes leisurely stroll or about 2-3 bus stops away. It was not cheap, but it is worth every single cent we paid for. The brunch at Le Brezza was very good too, they have really nice and fresh seafood, best oysters we ever had. On the downside, we found the spread for the evening cocktail very limited. And I craved for ice cream and called the personal butler to find out what flavor ice creams they had, however, they couldn't tell me and I was only told 'seasonal flavors'. Nevertheless, this wouldn't stop me from going back to St.Regis again. We were very satisfied with our stay overall. Oh, not to forget, they upgraded us to a better room and arranged for late check-out without us asking for it even. Great value-added service! Two thumbs-up! Highly recommended.

Overall had fantastic stay at Regents Singapore. Location - Only 5 mins walk from the bustling Orchard Road. Hotel - Good 5 star standard. The lobby is grandiose and was nicely decorated during the end of year period. The interior design is quite remarkable. Food - Our booking included breakfast, which was great. Many other hotels do not offer this. The food was good, with wide variety and western as well as traditional food. Staff - Very friendly, helpful and kind. Room - Perhaps the only criticism would be the room size. We had a superior room, which although elegant, we found to be rather small. The bathroom was also quite small (for a 5 star). The swimming pool is rather small too. Cleanliness - There is a daily morning and evening housekeeping service which ensures the rooms are generally always clean. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

We stayed at Llyod's Inn for my partner's birthday and I mentioned it in my notes when making the reservation. We were greeted in our room with a sweet birthday card and biscuits! It's a 10 minute walk from Somserset MRT (Orchard Gateway/Orchard Central Mall) and Dhoby Ghaut MRT. It's really serene and a nice getaway from the town area. Breakfast is always #1 on our list when having staycays. We opted for breakfast at Freshly Baked which was really good (I had a veg sandwich and my partner had eggs benedict was amazing) but it's a 10min walk away and was a bit pricey. We couldn't find the Killiney Kopitiam which was our other option. Overall, I thought it was really nice~

We are very grateful for the free upgrade from a two bedroom to a three-bedroom premium during our 8-day stay with 8 on Claymore. The apartment is huge with plenty storage space. The dishwasher (when housekeeping not available during weekend) and the washing/drying machine are user-friendly. There were snacks and cup noodles in the welcome basket (one-off supply) which was great when we were hungry upon arrival and all the restaurants nearby were closed. The 24-hour gym and 16-hour swimming pool were clean and superb. Centrally located on Scott’s Road, it takes only 5 min to Orchard MRT if you take the short-cut through its back door to its sister hotel. Supermarkets, shopping malls, restaurants (from food court to Michelin two star) are all within a few minutes’ walk. Everything was great during our stay! Would definitely recommend to everyone going to Singapore!!!

How many 3 star hotels offer bedroom slippers, hair dryer, a fridge, a safe, and bathroom fittings reminiscent of a 4 or 5 star hotel? My only complaint was the noise from the water outlet in the bathroom. It's about a 400 metres walk on level ground from the train station and the bus stop is just outside the hotel. They have a shuttle to Orchard Road, the Botanic Gardens and also to the train station if one has a lot of luggage. The staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful; especially Mona!

I would gladly stay at the Fort Canning Lodge for every Singapore visit! If your idea of a hotel is where you can live like royalty and have your every whim catered to, the FCL is not for you. But if you're a seasoned traveller who requires a clean, well-managed hotel for not too many dollars then the FCL is perfect. This is the hotel for those who have to pay for their stay themselves and want to be practical, yet want a very good level of service and amenities. My room (junior suite on the 12th floor) was decent-sized, had a great bathroom, came with a room safe with electronic keypad, and had a decent refrigerator and TV. Tap water is safe to drink. Security is good with magnetic keycard access to rooms and elevators. There's a fair-sized swimming pool on the 3rd floor that's open until 9pm, great for relaxing those tired muscles after a hot day out walking. The restaurant offers a hearty buffet breakfast, and there are internet booths at the lobby. Staff is helpful and well-trained and requests for extra pillows and towels and such are met in minutes. The building itself is not very new nor cutting edge in architecture, but I didn't need that anyway, but maintenance and upgrading is good. I loved the view out my window, Fort Canning hill with the towers of the central business district out beyond. Location is fantastic. It's at the very start of Orchard Road, with Little India to the north, Kampong Glam to the east, Marina to the south east, and the River and Chinatown to the south. It's of course situated in the beautiful colonial district, with the terrific National Museum and Museum of Art just a few minutes walk away. The all-important Dhoby Ghaut station is a quick walk through the Park Mall beside the hotel, and when the new Circle Line is completed, this will be the most strategic of Singapore's stations, with all four lines passing through it. You can be in just about any place in Singapore in a few minutes, from the hotel's central location.

I had a very pleasant stay at Orchard Parade, although I can't speak to the dining and swimming facilities because with a one night stay, there was not much time to explore. Upon checking in we were informed that we had been given a free upgrade to a premium room, and furthermore we were presented with $80 of vouchers for Orchard Central shopping mall! The gift and the upgraded room really made our stay very happy and pleasant. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, and while other hotels are closer to the shopping malls, this hotel is just a 5 minute walk away. The location is great for the value.
