Excellent location and value worthy. The hotel is surrounded by shops, mall, restaurants and food stalls. Its location is very close to Namba train station, subway station and JR station. We can travel to any part of Osaka and Kansai area easily. The hotel is also close to Dotonbori area where the food and fun is awaiting. The hotel also offers family room where all of us can stay together. The room is nice and clean. We even have a local mobile phone and internet to use during our stay. We use it to search everything in the area - good restaurants, attraction and directions. We really have a good time there. And we will definitely consider coming back here.

The hotel is great in many ways, but I would choose to stay near Namba Station next time for better connection trains to Kyoto & Limousine Bus to ITM Osaka airport. Walking to Namba with a luggage was tiring. Close to Dotonburi food and shopping. Walkable to Shinsaibashi and high end shopping area. A few blocks to Namba Station. Close to Akiba Mario Kart - Highly recommend! Need International Drivers Permit from AAA.**** Onsen- Unfortunately didn’t have time to try, but looks nice. Free ramen noodles at 10pm, but I didn’t try. Rooms - Separate toilet from sink and shower. Plus. Bed - Low and not too comfortable for me. Only 1 flat pillow per person. Shoes off as you enter hotel. Half Chinese tourists, half Western. Ambiance - Simple traditional Japanese style. Room size - Smaller than what I am used to.

DO NOT CONFUSE THIS HOTEL WITH SOTETSU FRESA OSAKA NAMBA HOTEL. This hotel is SOTETSU GRAND FRESA OSAKA NAMBA. We did and went in circles trying to find it. This hotel was right by Dotonbori, major tourist area. I would have preferred a hotel in a more central non-touristy location. Close to train station. This hotel is very big and a lot of business people stay here. Hotel provides extra travel size packets of facial products. Facilities was good. We did our laundry here, which was very convenient. Staff was nice and helpful. Many eating options in the area.

The location is near Namba train station, just follow the sign going to Fraser Residence then turn before Fraser straight into the alley the 1st corner turn left. Beside the parking is the entrance of the hotel. The hotel entrance is in the alley road. The size of the room is comfortable for 2 we have add'l kid is still ok. There is still space to put luggage and there is a table where you eat. There is also microwave oven, table, and washing machine on the top floors. Near everything for the tourist.

I would definitely stay in Hotel 88 Shinsaibashi when I go back to Osaka. The hotel is very close to Namba train station. It’s also few minutes walk to Dotonbori. There’s also a near 7 eleven in the area. All the staff are very accomodating and helpful. They will really make your stay comfortable. One of them even went with us to Namba station on our first day to make sure we don’t get lost. On our way back to the airport, they brought us to the train station with their van for free, because we got loads of stuff to bring. The hotel is very clean, the staff are all very accomodating and willing to help. They also offer free drinks from 6am to 12mn, its a vendo machine- coffee, tea, soda, choco drink and even potato and corn soup, which is a big thumbs up for us tourists! They also have a 3 massage chairs in the common area near the lobby, how cool is that! Staying in Hotel 88 really made our trip even more exciting!

I stayed 5 nights at the hotel. The hotel is newly refurbished. It is in very good condition. Room size is small compared to other country although it os considered a large compared to other business hotels I used to stay in Japan. Location is excellent especially when you travel from/to Kansai airport. There is a direct train from the airport to Nankai Namba station (45mins). At the Nankai Namba, take the east exit (quite difficult to find the East exit, down escalator and turn around toward shopping mall). At the East exit, turn right and walk along the street until you see the traffic light and tuen left again. Walk along the street until you see the second traffic light and then turn right. The hotel is about 100 away. It takes approx. 5 mins walk from the train station. Also, the hotel is easy to walk to Dontonbori as well. Breakfast is not the best but it's more than our expectation (to what we pay for the room price). There are rice, Japanese curry, miso soup, fish, omelette, bread and so on. Staff are very kind and helpful. Overall, I think this is a highly recommended hotel to everyone. I would definitely back here again when I visit Osaka next time.

Hotel Kanade is a great choice to stay in when you are at Osaka Namba. It is a short 5-minute walk to downtown Dotonburi and is close to 2 different train lines (Osaka-Namba and Namba). There is a huge grocery and departmental store LIFE just across the street from the hotel. You are never far from food, transport or entertainment. I stayed in the Superior Double, which is a large room, generous in terms of size when compared to other hotels around Osaka. The bathroom is clean and spacious. There is a separate shower area with a soak tub. All room amenities are provided for. As I had a late flight out of Osaka, the staff was kind enough to hold my luggages for the day till I collected them in the evening. They even had a luggage weighing scale for me to borrow. I would definitely recommend Hotel Kanade and it would be a top choice when I return to Osaka.

We stayed here with our 2 year old, and the location and helpful service made it the best hotel for us, I would highly recommend Swissotel to anyone wanting to stay in Osaka and especially near/in Namba, we had a wonderful few days walking around and seeing all the sights. It's right in the middle of everything, we walked and took short subways everywhere. Because it's located above the Namba train station, it's convenient to check-in once arriving, hassle free. We took the subway into Namba from Shin-Osaka station, and it was so nice to not have to worry about how to get to our hotel. Subway station connects to train station underground and there are lots of signs that direct to Swissotel. Namba train station is great, like a shopping mall connecting to large department stores, shops and restaurants. Guest service/info booths are helpful too, one of these booths is on main floor of Namba station below the Swissotel, they speak English and are really informative. Also, note, from the main floor of Namba station you take elevator to floor 6 to get to Swissotel check-in. it's way above everything which also means great views once you get into your room! We will be back for sure. Happy travels!

The hotel itself is good - the facilities and amenities are complete, the room the clean and has enough space, the staff is friendly (they don't speak much English but they'll still try to help you!). However, I specifically chose the hotel because it's supposedly close to the Namba train station - BUT, it's close to the far end of the JR Namba station (10 minutes to walk), but it's a solid 20 minutes to the Osaka-Namba or Namba station, which is what you'll use if you're taking other subways in Osaka or using the Kintetsu line. To Dotonbori, it's 20 minutes by foot and to the Ebisu bridge (shopping area), about 25 minutes depending on how fast your pace is. So while the hotel itself is good, I have to drop the stars because of the location.

We stayed in a double with breakfast. The first thing we noticed was how great the hotel lobby was. Looked very high class and professional. A lot can be said about a hotel just by its lobby and this was impressive. The room was spacious for Japan, had a massive (42 or 46") wall mounted TV. Room was tidy and you have the option of choosing Economy cleaning where they don't wash the bedsheets everyday (which would be wasteful), and you get free bottles of water if you select this option. The location is great! Only about 10mins walk to Den Den Town (Anime-central of Osaka) and about 15mins to Namba (major shopping area). It's also about a 5min walk to Daikukocho station, which is on the main north-south subway covering major stops such as Shinsaibashi, Namba, Umeda and Shin-Osaka. The breakfast was the best and most surprising part of the hotel. It's a full buffet, with a Japanese/Western mix. Foods include bacon, eggs, beans, salads, takoyaki, udon noodles, japanese curry rice, japanese fried chicken, toast, croissants, cereals, tea/coffee, variety of juices, and a few desserts as well. It's amazing. Overall a great hotel, definitely feels more like 4-4.5 stars than 3. Would recommend to anyone.

The hotel was suitably located within walking distances to the main subway stations (Namba Station [3 min walk] and Nippombashi Station [7 min walk]) and to the main tourist attractions (Kuromon Ichiba Market [3 min walk], Namba City [3 min walk], Dotonbori [10 min walk], Shinsekai [15 min walk], Nambayasaka Shrine [10 min walk]). The room was really clean and considered spacious as compared to the other hotels that I've stayed in other Japan cities. It was great that the hotel do make an effort to prepare simple breakfast (croissants, bread, banana, coffee, tea) for their guests. Overall, a pleasant stay in Red Roof Inn & Suites Osaka Namba Nippombashi. Will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family who will be traveling to Osaka.

It has the basic amenities required for a pleasant stay in Osaka. As with most Japanese hotels, it is a very compact so it will be cramped should you have lots of luggage. Worthwhile borrowing one of the hotel's bikes to ride around the neighbourhood. Helpful and friendly staff. Also worth considering joining the hotel's loyalty program, Club WBF, to receive benefits during your stay. Located in more of a residential district so it is relatively quiet. About 8 minutes walk from Nankai Namba station and in walking distance of the Namba/Dotonbori districts (about 15 minutes) and Kuromon markets. A bit further away is Shinsekai and Tsutenkaku Tower.

The primary reason I picked this hotel is that its location was perfect (for me) for a short stay in Osaka - quite near to at least 2 major train stations, and also a short distance away from Dotombori and Shinsaibashi-suji - and the price point per night was just within my budget. I was able to check-in at the hotel at the afternoon and have enough time to see Dotomburi for hours, for that matter, and walk back to my hotel in around 10 minutes after splurging on food. I was able to structure my Osaka itinerary better. Facility-wise, it is what you pay for. Bed was great, aircon was manageable, bathroom was fine, amenities was OK. The room I booked was a bit cramped compared to others I've scouted, but perfectly manageable for a solo traveler. I only had one backpack and one 79/29 wheeled luggage. Had no troubles unpacking/lounging/sleeping in the room. The staff was great - helpful and nice to travelers. It's also relatively newly-built, so no complaints about the room quality.

ALPs facility was a little quirky. We didn’t know it’s previous history as a “love” hotel and still had a red lamp over the bed. Rooms had traces of smoking even though it was non smoking. Room also had a cash machine and slot machine, was equipped with massage chair, spa tub and shower. Spacious room and otherwise clean. They comped us free breakfast. Food was ok but more Asian style rather than Japanese style. No laundry facility on site. They only forward luggage to airport not hotel to hotel. Close to Namba train station. Easy access to shopping venues.

My family and I stayed in this hotel for a week. We loved it's proximity to all we need. We are near restaurants, train stations, tourist spots, groceries, convenience stores, everything. The staff is very nice and accomodating. If there are any requests, they would do everything to provide what you need. This hotel is also located in one of the places tourist go to, Shinsekai. The price we paid for was really worth it. Even our friends were surprised on how affordable the price of our hotel were. We truly enjoyed our stay in Osaka. I would certainly recommend this place for anyone that wants to stay in Osaka. - Location - was apprenhensive at first but when I landed, I found that the train I took, goes directly from airport to the Shin-Imamiya Station, without needing to change platforms/trains lugging that big suitcase. It's also just behind the station - which it made it easy to find. at Shin-Imamiya Station, take the East Exit, and once out of the station, take the right and basically, turn around the corner and follow all way. the hotel is literally behind the train station. - Room was spacious with firm (not hard) bed which I loved! It's also very clean and had all the right amenities. I was also glad that I didn't buy a local prepaid sim at the airport as this hotel provide the local mobile phone complete with free voice and DATA access which was most helpful when I took it to explore the city. - staff was most helpful and friendly with multi-lingual (english, mandarin etc). I was pleasan

If you are looking for an affordable place to stay in Osaka, Asiato is a great choice! The hotel is location right at one of the entrances of the famous Kuromon Ichiba Market, so if you are ever hungry, all the food is right at your doorstep, literally. If you are on a short trip to Osaka and have to get in and out of the airport but still want to explore Osaka city, this is great as it is just a 5 minute walk away from the Namba station that brings you straight to the Kansai International Airport. It is also within walking distance to Namba and Dotonbori. The room was comfortable, clean and comes with the basic necessities. The toilet was rather small and had a constant smell, but that didn't bother me much.

The hotel is super near to Dotonburi street, meaning you can shop, drop your stuff back in hotel and back to shop again! It's also near to Kuromon Market, about 10 to 15 min walk or you can catch a train. The hotel provides free ramen from 10.30pm to 11pm, free wine & beer from 10.30pm to 11.30pm, free massage chair, free coffee & tea and the best part of all... FREE MiFi !!!!! SUPER valued hotel!!! Will definitely come back to stay at the same hotel on my next Osaka trip :)

Pros: -Hotel location is very near Namba Nankai Station and Osaka Metro Namba Station -Walking distance to Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi, Kuromon Market -There's also a nearby Kohyo Supermarket (maybe 10-15 minutes walk), 2 Family Marts, and a nearby bus stop Cons: -Upon arrival there is no staff to assist, only check in via an iPad. But because we had problems with the iPad so a staff came to help us check in. -Small room - booked a Twin Room but it was cozy. Room can fit 2 medium sized luggage + 1 small hand carry luggage, has a mini fridge, kettle, hair dryer, bathtub and toilet, toiletries and towels, slippers too. -No luggage storage area - but you can store it at their other branch or go to Namba Hands Free Center (2 blocks away only from the hotel) or use the coin lockers.

First impression is Japanese style hotel manner - trusty, worthy, easy and safety. Second is location, hotel stand very close to famous night shopping street "Shin Sai Bashi Suji" , "Sen Nichi Ma-e" and local fresh market "Kuromon Ichiba". Third is public transport, It's about 200 maters from Namba station (from Kansai airport), 50 maters from Kintetsu Nipponbashi station walkway (Namba walk - underground walkway between Namba station & Nipponbashi station a lot of fashion & food store here) Finally I must say "If I want budget hotel in Osaka, I choose Hotel Le Botejour Nanba Annex!"

I booked this hotel as it was more economical than staying in Kyoto. It was a good base for my day trips to Kyoto [3], Nara, Hiroshima and Koyasan. The room was clean, quiet and small, and was good for rest and sleep after my day trips. It is nearby to Metro and Nankai Namba train station, food options and Dotombori. I would stay here again. Directions: from Nipponbashi metro station Exit 5 - turn right and walk 5-10 minutes - just past first main traffic lights, on right is Business Hotel Kikuei.

Best location in Osaka Namba, just 1 -2 minutes walk to the BIC Camera & shopping street with which many restaurant and street food at reasonable price. Kuromon Ichiba market & railway Station and Subwa just 1 - 3 minutes away from hotel. It is also walking distance to Dotonburi & Shinsaibashi Shopping Street. Staff are very friendly and helpful and can speak and understand English. simple breakfast but nice. However, no kettle in the room, need staff assist to get hot & warm water. Staying at Triple Room is spacious, as well as the bath room with bath tub. Allow to keep luggage for a long period when we travel to Kyoto & Takayama. We will stay again if visit in future.

Hotel Shin Imamiya is literally a few steps away from Shin Imamiya station. Took the Nankai line from the airport, no need for transfers plus there's an elevator which is really convenient if you have heavy luggage. Mega Don Quijote is a few blocks away (near Dobotsuen-mae station) and their stuff is cheaper than the ones in Dotonbori. Walk a little bit more and you will be at Shinsekai. One station away from Namba and you're already at Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori. I stayed in the single room which has good AC. It was still a bit hot when I arrived, so I used the cold function but after a few days the temp dropped to 15 degrees, so I used the heater function. It would be good to stay here during the winter. The only problem I had was that the hallway smelled of cigarette smoke although it is a non-smoking area. Other than that, I had a very pleasant stay. Will book here again when I go back in Osaka.

Hotel Hillarys was a real surprise to us considering the low room rate that we paid. In fact it's the cheapest room during our Osaka-Kyoto trip, but the most spacious and comfortable of all. we got a 50% off voucher for our first breakfast and it's really worthy. the famous Kuromon market was just a stone throw away and we had the cheapest yet the best fresh seafood in Osaka. the Namba train station and Nipponbashi metro line are nearby. we took a direct train straight to Kansai airport from the Namba station.
