Overall the hotel is great, clean and location is great. We are reserved 2 Superior King rooms for 3 Nights with 28 Square meter which indicated on Agoda while we booking, but once arrived we are be given 2 rooms which are No 311 & 314 which is not accordingly to the room size as stated. For both of the rooms size is ONLY about 18.5 sq meter. Please provide clear details on web and give the best services to all the Hotel Valued Guests.

We travelled with our 2-year-old to this amazing hotel. We were welcomed with a very warm staff member who also secretly noted down our kid's name. Our kid got sick in the second evening and threw up several times. We asked the hotel to prepare some congee in the middle of the night. The congee came quickly together with a children's story book with a kind note stating our kid's name and a lovely message to wish him get well soon. The hotel also called back and say they can arrange for hospital visit if needed. Staff members were very warm to us, in particular with the kid and would play and speak with him whenever they walk by. Facility-wise, the swimming pool was perfect. I had the best Spa experience ever (having been to probably a dozen Spas previously). The kids club was also fun and the staff members there were patient with kids. Highly recommend this hotel to all families who are travelling with young kids.

First of all, they welcomed us wif cool welcome drink and they already now my name (the receptionist had a six sense i think) very2 nice and funny staff..love them, no deposit when check in, really fast check in i ever know, when come inside the suite duplex family my childs said WOW how can the hotel had a stairs to the main room? Really really best comfy i ever stayed, the bath room, the bath rope, the clean of the room, the amenities etc ITS PERFECT!!! ✔Near to central plaza and BIG C supermarket, my child wont go out from hotel whole nite, so we order SUPERVISTA meals SUPERB!!✔ dessert,main course and drink only B180 . 2 day 1 nite the great experience in chiangrai we visit Blue &white amazing temple,Giant KuanYin ,clock tower and long neck karen village we meet young 4 years ladyname Bosha how adorable..thanks Chiangrai and Grand Vista ,we will come back again someday...🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾kap khun kha ...(sorry for mistake spelling)

Memorable. The moment on arrival, we knew we had made the right choice the smiling staff were there to greet us, & that smiley service remained for whole duration of our stay. In fact we only booked to stay 2 nights of our 10 day road trip & ended up staying 5 nights. The staff, that also includes the owner/managers could not do enough to help us, they provided all the services you would expect from a resort style concierge. We never expect fluent English from the Thai, but their English was good. We all had some laughs learning a few new Thai/English words To us the Le Patta Hotel is more of a boutique style hotel, 40 rooms means it is not over run with droves of guest buzzing around like the middle of Bangkok & does not have a 5 acre swimming pool. but it provides a very tranquil, Quiet & easily accessible place to stay. Le Patta is conveniently located just around the corner (yes walk) from the night bazaar, top restaurants, shops, lots of markets, day & night & many other tourist attractions. The room (being a brand new Hotel), was exceptionally clean, well designed, spacious, cosy king size bed, huge bathroom/shower, bedside controls for all the light & cooling, plenty of room to park your cases, free mini bar & so on. A well deserved 4 star rating at an incredibly good price. (Our room was the Deluxe.). Breakfast was al a carte; Thai, English & American but you could pretty much have any combo on the menu. & yes the breakfast service was excellent. Chiang Rai was a great home base to see all that Northern Thailand has to offer without spending all day on the road getting to and from the places of interest. Our 4th trip to Thailand. We have stayed in dozens of Hotel/Motels & this one was truly fantastic Thankyou La Patta.....Kop Khun Krub

To begin, we are truly baffled as to how anyone could complain about any aspect of this lovely hotel. Our room was less than $40 per night including breakfast, & we would have been equally thrilled about our experience at twice that price. Each room is a separate bungalow, so there's an immediate feeling of privacy. It's almost impossible not to notice the stunning grounds & how carefully they have been densely planted w/ an endless list of tropical flowers/plants/trees like coconut & bird of paradise- it's inspired & gorgeous. The rooms are spacious & very clean, the bed is comfortable, & the separate bathroom is traditionally Thai. That means the shower floor is level with the rest of the bathroom, so any water on the floor travels to a common drain. For those who are confused by this, please keep in mind you chose to travel in a foreign country so you could learn about & appreciate differences in culture. The highlight of this hotel is its attentive service. We were greeted most graciously & the front desk was exceedingly helpful throughout our stay. They took care of our request for a 5 AM pick-up to get driven 2 hours to the border, & because we left too early to return our scooter to the rental shop ourselves, they were kind enough to take the helmets and keys so the scooter shop could pick them up later. At one point during our stay I went to the front steps of the hotel to source a cab/tuk-tuk to a nearby shop, & a gentleman also on the steps asked where I was headed. He then offered me a free ride in his truck. Final caveat: the breakfast buffet is one of the best we have ever experienced. The number of choices was impressive (far better than any 4/5 star hotel we've ever stayed at in Bangkok), & freshness and quality were first rate as well. This makes starting the day so much easier, we highly recommend you take advantage of this valuable addition. We loved Laluna Hotel and look forward to staying here again when we travel to Chiang Rai.

This is my first time at this hotel and it’s the best of the 3 hotels I have stayed in Chiang Rai. The location is very good in the centre of the traditional part of Chiang Rai. There are plenty of Thai and foreign restaurants nearby. The Night Bazaar is only 2 minutes’ walk and these markets are great affordable shopping with cheap eating options. The room was very pleasant and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is great with much variety. The staff are friendly and helpful. The shuttle to the airport is only 100 THB per person. The swimming pool is big and deep however, it is not suitable for non-swimmers and children. Even the shallow end is deeper than a young child. Supervision is essential. The hotel is popular for tour groups which means that the tourism industry sees this as value for money, but also means it can be very busy, especially with booming Chinese tourism. I have nothing to be disappointed about with my stay here.

Stayed here for a second time, and it still is for me the best in Chiang Rai. It is centrally located, rooms are clean and well maintained. The only downside I experienced was, we arrived early in the day, but we weren't allowed check-in until about 1PM. They kept telling us that because we booked thru Agoda, check-in time is strictly 2PM. Nothing really bad because that's what it says on print. They allowed to keep our luggage so we can go around town. But, it would have been a nice touch if we were allowed to check-in earlier, the hotel wasn't really fully booked because it's off season for travel now. I wonder, if we booked through the B2 app, would we have been allowed to check-in earlier? Perhaps... In summary though, the value for money is really way above board, especially because we got a discounted price. Will definitely stay again here next time I'm in Chiang Rai.

Very clean hotel located not to far from the Saturday night market and a little bit further from the Friday night market. It's just around the corner from the Oub Kham museum (which I recommend). The staff was outstanding. Very friendly and eager to help. The breakfast buffet was good for the size of the hotel. The rooms were very clean and the bathroom and shower were nice, which is really important to me. No other facilities to speak of that I recall, but we were just there to sleep and the rest of the time was spent touring the city and surrounding areas so we didn't care if there was a pool or exercise room. I'd definitely stay there again.

we booked here since it was also closed to shopping mall. we got a room ground floor with direct entry to the pool which was great with kids. So you can be at the room and watch them close too. the breakfast was nice! many dishes, buffe style and in a nice place on the 1st floor. the best veriety we had so far in Thailand. the room was clean, big and we had much fun staying there.

Everything about the hotel was a positive from From our airport pick up, to the warm welcome we received at check in we couldn't have wanted a better place to stay after our 23+ hours flying from New York City to Chiang Rai.The hotel is comprised or two story bungalows set in flowering gardens. Our room on the second floor had an outside balcony with comfortable furniture, our room was divided into teo areas, one with a large comfortable bed, dresser, tv, etc. The other with a desk/work area and a small frig. The hotel provided drinking water in glass resealable bottles, which is much better then throw away plastic bottles. The pool has a view of the river along with more gardens. We had one of the best massages we have ever had and before dinner a hotel shuttle took us to the night market and picked us up at the agreed upon time.For a candle lit dinner outside with live music and the sounds of the river flowing by, not to mention a truly delicious Thai meal and great service. A hotel not to be missed if visiting the area.

First, their staff, from the front desk to the people in the dining room, were exceptional. They would do anything for you. The location, right next to the Clock Tower, and the nearby night life, was wonderful. Easy to walk to Night Bazzar, as it is only about an 8 minute walk. The Sunday Night Market is about a 40 minute walk, but also very nice. Enjoed the nearby Hill Tribe Museum, and the tour offered by the hotel to the White Temple and the Golden Triangle. I will certainly return to this hotel again.

We stayed two nights in this hotel. The staff was from the first until the last moment very very nice. The breakfast was very good, organized in the restaurant right close to the hotel. We saw that there was a pool, but haven't tried it, although it seemed to be very lovely. The best for us was the location of the hotel, it is very close to the bus terminal and also to plenty of other points of interest in the city, we walked everywhere.

I wasn't expecting such a great hotel in Chiang Rai as the city is abit of a sleepy place (and the reason I visited to get away from the chaos of Bangkok) but the Rasa is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The whole place is very clean and well designed. The beds are firm and comfy and the rooms are well proportioned and the water is the fridge is free! (important in hot Thailand) The breakfast served was huge (3 courses!) and tasted good. The best thing about the hotel is the quality if the staff. An example was when we were greeted at the car park with an umbrella on return from a rainy day out (you don't get this outside of posh hotels!) Also the staff were friendly and spoke good English.

This is a very good value hotel and wood recommend to all we were in chang rai for 7 days 4 days in the city and 3 days down the road near Mae Fah luang university as my wife was doing a 3 days work on a world health program im well traveled and have stayed in many types of hotels world wide so this is a good all round hotel and value we stayed in a vip room and was a good room every thing in there that you wood need for all types of people was clean and one of the best beds and pillers iv ever slept on really good the pool is big clean and great for a work out of to relax round again the is a big jim if you are in to that and the every thing in there the place is a little out of town but I like that as nice and quite peace full but easy to walk in 15is mins to main area and action if need it and plenty of places to eat on the way withing 5 mins walking distance but we had a moped for a week as was see in the sites and temples etc and area the only thing I wood say is not that if worred me as I love thai food and wife is thai but the not a massive western food amont but apart from that its a amazing great all round place to stay and I will stop here next time I'm in chang rai and recommend to all Kind Regards j spence.

All Good. spacious room, love the shower room floor pattern. Friendly Staffs. Free basic breakfast (toast, cereal, milk, coffee, tea, ovaltine). Windows is facing to motorbike parking, it is not noisy, but the hundred birds on the trees did, sometimes can hear it clearly. Single traveler might better to join the local tour from outside, it is cheaper. but if you are more than 1 person, can book their private driver. Hotel locates near a hospital, it was not a problem, even have some food stall just outside of the alley. 15 -20 mins walking distance to Night Market & Clock Tower.

WE BOOKED 2 NIGHTS AND ENDED UP BY STAYING 2 MORE. THAT SAYS IT ALL SPACIOUS ROOMS, EXCELLENT LOCATION, SUPER WIFI. BEST BED I VE HAD IN THAILAND, NO DOUBT. LACKS A BIT OF PERSONALITY, IT LOOKS VERY COLD AT FIRST, BUT THE STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING. THE BREAKFAST IS ALSO MORE THAN ACCEPTABLE. STAFF SPEAKS GOOD ENGLISH UNLIKE OTHER COMMENTS FROM PROBABLY SOME PEOPLE WHO TENDS TO FORGET THAT ENGLISH IS NOT THE NATIONAL THAI LANGUAGE. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED

By all measures, this property runs with the best of them. The staff were very attentive and understood/spoke English well. Room was modern, clean, tidy, and everything worked perfectly. The only point is it is a bit far from town center. This may be 5 stars for some, less for others. Pool was super, clean, refreshing. Would not hesitate to stay again; as a matter of fact, I did book twice on this trip. :)

We decided to take a short side trip to Chiang Rai before our plans to celebrate Loy Krathong in Chiang Mai and we are so glad that we did! Such a beautiful city full of the friendliest, most accommodating people. Wherever we went, we were greeted with smiles and the people are very genuine and kind and the city is relaxed and has not been taken over by tourists. The location was a little trek away from the main part of town but we had rented a scooter from the lobby and had a great time exploring the city. The hotel is only 3 months old so everything is in working order and clean. Bed is very comfortable and the location is peaceful. The staff at the villa are amazing! My girlfriend left her purse in the lobby with no ID and a lot of money. We didn't realize that it was missing until the end of the day and when we were rushing out to retrace our steps we decided to stop and ask at the front desk and the very kind and friendly manager asked for a description and was so happy to return it to us. We were floored... literally, as my girlfriend had close to $500 in her purse! My apologies for the long review but I just had to share that story as we were so touched. The manager was the best, not just for her honesty but she was extremely personable, spoke great english, and was very helpful! :) We have already decided to come back to Chiang Rai and this is where we will always stay.

Pros:- -the most comfortable bed ever, the mattress is very comfortable not too soft not too hard. the pillow is also very comfortable. -very clean -large room -mini fridge -hot water kettle -kitchenette sink area -bathroom is nice, large bathroom sink, shower is separated from toilet by curtain -hot water pressure is good, they provide soap bar -sofa area with tv -long bench where you could sit and go on laptop for example -clothes wardrobe Cons:- -free wifi is very spotty, if you manage to connect it's fast but the connection disappears and reappears so i just rely on my own sim card to tether -no shower gel or liquid soap provided -car park gets full quick -location wise not too many restaurants around, there's a few if you walk but not much. 7-11 is down the road though. best to have a car or scooter if staying here.

I stayed at this comfortable hotel on my last evening in Thailand, and was incredibly impressed. The rooms are just as comfortable as any midrange hotel in Europe or North America, and at a fraction of the price ($10). The staff were welcoming and friendly, and handed out free candies to guests upon arrival. The hotel is located around a 10-minute walk from the Night Bazaar and the heart of sleepy Chiang Rai. The bedding and rooms were extremely comfortable, and though the bathrooms were spartan and featured those pesky electronic water heaters, they were perfectly acceptable. If you find yourself in Chiang Rai, this is the perfect place to hang your hat - it's almost impossible to not enjoy your stay here.

Baan Soontree was quiet and great for couples. We had a little private cabin with a king sized bed (even though Agoda only had twins left when we booked, we requested a king and they were able to accommodate!) The staff were fantastic. When a friend from Phuket tried getting in touch with us, they were adamant about making sure we knew and called for us using the hotel cell phone. Another day, they arranged a cheap driving tour for us to the north, half the price of what some of the tours in town cost (that said, our fave tour was a bike tour to the White Temple and waterfall, which we booked in town.) Fitness room was clean and never had anyone in it (couple nice bikes and an elliptical). They provide shampoo, soap, cotton swabs, etc. Only minor downsides were lack of variety in breakfast (though I'd rather eat light and save up for lunch and dinner in town or on the street anyhow!) and that it's about a 15-20 minute walk into town. But the front desk is happy to call you a tuk tuk - they normally cost about 80 baht. Breakfast includes toast/croissants, jam, fresh fruit, cereal/milk, yogurt, fried eggs, mini hot dogs, coffee/juice and a hot dish that rotates every day (i.e. pork fried rice).

This is a nice little hotel with well-designed building and garden. It is super cozy as if you are staying at a friend's place. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. You can have yummy sandwiches and Pa-Tong-Go (Thai unsweetened Churos, in my opinion) for your breakfast with your choice of drink. And that's just enough to get, set, go. ;) It is quite difficult to find the hotel though. If you travel by car, you may need to use mapping apps in your mobile phone (which is what i did) or some sort of GPS navigator. If you come to Chiang Rai by mass transport (plane/bus), you may need to hire a taxi. Or perhaps the best thing is to consult the hotel staffs before you book the room.

This an exceptionally nice place: very clean, large bed w/ down comforter and nice pillows, an electric tea kettle, dishware, a microwave, plug-ins, .... lots of amenities-- by far the nicest place I've stayed in for under $20. The patio is peaceful. I could easily live here for a month. The staff doesn't speak any English, but the check-in process is straight forward: fill out guest card. There are many English signs and contact numbers. The staff seemed very business-like, not particularly welcoming, no hello in English or Thai-- but maybe because I don't speak Thai it's a bit intimidating. And I had just come from a trek, so I was dressed very casually.

we can only say beatiful words for poy and kung, the owners of the place, who made us feel at our home in every sense, and their guesthouse. we ended up staying 4 nights there, as the location was perfect, extremely clean, every single detail was taken into account,breakfast so complete and tasty, all in all, the perfect stay you can think about. the garden was beautiful, the common areas so clean, and lovely decorated (really, so charming!!!), our room was very convenient, with perfectly sealed mosquito nets in windows and aircon, mattress so comfortable, cold pure water provided at will...free bikes were provided by the house, the surroundings are so beautiful for biking. chiang rai night market only 10 minutes away on foot. but the top of the tops were poy and kung's attention, you can see they do the best to make you feel as if you were at home. seriously, this is one of the best places we have ever stayed in...and we travel a lot.
