The best hotel in Aonang.. I stayed with my hubby for 5 days n the hotel was jus amazing. We were welcomed by very friendly staffs. The rooms was jus too good the lighting, the bed, balcony and bathroom was super comfortable. The swimming pool was awesome with a pool bar. Their pizza is very delicious. The breakfast buffet was good and can really keep you full for sometime. Beach was walking distance. Very convenient location. We had no heart to leave the hotel. Previously my hubby n I stayed at golden beach resort facing the beach directly but the hotel staffs were very rude and not accommodating at all. This time we had a much better experience and the staffs were very nice to offer more drinking water bottles compared to other hotels. A staff by the name of Carrie who is present during bfast is very friendly and informative and mostly alll the staffs have a very smiling face. Will definitely come back to this hotel if we visit krabi. Really worthy...

I was very impressed with the reception staff. They could not do enough for you. I normally book more luxurious hotel, but we were travelling in a big group and the my friends choose this property. I found the room a bit small for 4 of us, so I opted to pay 1000 Bhat per night and get a 2 bed room with 1 bathroom, so we got more space and that was a good idea. There was an incident where a very rude and irate customer at a hotel was having a go at the staff and creating quite a drama and I really felt they ought to be congratulated at how they treated him with such respect while he showed none. our party did not get all the rooms on the same floor either but we did not make an issue about it but he sure did. It is a basic hotel with excellent Staff who will make your stay very comfortable. We were out most days so only went to sleep. I loved the fruit salad with sweet yogurt the best, there was plenty of other choices as well, pastries, curry, rice, choice of fresh eggs etc.

Travelled in a group of 4 and booked 2 rooms from 14/8 to 17/8. Had a very pleasant welcome from Noolek and Noola who served us welcome drinks and introduced the hotel facilities. They even showed us up to our rooms. Our spacious rooms came with a king-sized bed & single bed and a balcony which faces the main road to Ao Nang Beach. They even provide 2 beach towels, 2 beach mats in a carry bag and 2 umbrellas in the rooms. Coffee, tea, mineral water, soft drinks, juice and a small packet of nuts (in the minibar) are complimentary and replenished daily. Buffet breakfast that was included in our room rates was simple yet widespread with an assortment of juices, fruits, salads, cold cuts, breads, cereals, international choices of main course, eggs station and variety of teas and coffees. As this hotel is still quite new, the bed is so comfortable, bed linen is crisp & white and bath towels are thick & fluffy. Rooms are cleaned daily and corridors are mopped twice daily. The location of this hotel is ideal. Ao Nang beach is a pleasant 15 minute walk away with lots of eateries, 7-11s, massage and shopping around it's vicinity. We enjoyed our stay at Sugar Marina and will be back for another visit soon.

I booked this hotel at a last min notice as my partner and I decided to make an impromptu trip (5D4N) to Krabi. For the price that we paid we would say that BlueSotel definitely exceeded our expectations ! Pros - The staffs here are really polite and helpful. Plus, they could speak decent English ! - Location was spot on as it’s just a few mins walk to the beach. Also, there were many nice restaurants and convenience stores located a stones throw away - Room was really fantastic, as all of them comes with a balcony. There was a rack that allowed us to dry our clothes too. This really came in handy throughout our trip ! I would appreciate if most hotels had the rack so that people wouldn’t encounter issues when they want to hang their laundry out to dry. Basically, we had nothing much to pick on about the room given to us for our stay. - Room service was really efficient as we didn’t have to wait long when we request for things. They cleaned up our room really well too. - Price wise, for a last min booking I would have expected to pay a higher cost for this hotel but no ! In our opinion we felt that the deal we got was really really cheap. For a hotel like this we definitely felt that it was super value for money and we got a steal. - Facilities wise we didn’t really get to check out much of it as most of our times were spent out of the hotel. But I must say the pool area looked quite fancy and the public washroom was really clean too. Cons - The only issue we had with our stay was that the water heater wasn’t really consistent. There were times when the water would transition from really hot to cold and it’s definitely not enjoyable to shower in conditions like that. Overall, we would definitely recommend people to give this hotel a go as it checks all the box in which a traveller is looking for. It’s definitely value for money and I would advise to book this place if you’re looking for somewhere nice yet cheap to stay. Cheers !

Hotel : check-in was quick and fuss free. Booked a Deluxe Room, spacious and there’s balcony and sofa for a very reasonable price. Bed was super comfy and room is definitely clean. Free mini bar top up everyday. Don’t forget to bring your toothbrush and toothpaste as they don’t provide them. Hotel location was perfect for me surrounded by plenty of muslim/halal foods. The hotel restaurant is not halal, yet there’s bread, pastries and egg live station which you can consume. Hotel staff is very helpful, they help us with booking of chauffeur service from hotel to the airport for 600baht. Hotel provides umbrella in the room and beach towel too! Hotel to Aonang beach took us about 20mins walk which i’m pretty lazy to walk hence we rented a bike for 200baht per day (prepare a refundable deposit of 3k baht) We went for island hopping which cost us 2400 baht for 2pax include all taxes. (tour counter can be found opposite the hotel beside Bangboo restaurant) Don’t forget to try Firdaus restaurant beside the hotel as they provide nice halal seafood and there’s a cart right in front of the hotel selling pad thai (cheap & nice!) There’s a short night market outside the mosque selling street food, don’t forget to try the mango sticky rice, i bought that everyday it cost only 50baht! Massage parlour is all over cost between 200 - 500baht (i went twice 😊 ) Overall, Krabi is a nice place to relax. I never regret choosing Marina Express tho it’s not located in front of the beach.

This hotel had the most comfortable bed, pillows and sheets I have ever experienced on vacation! seriously amazing! the price made this hotel extremely affordable to book for a week and go on small trips elsewhere throughout. The location is amazing, walking distance to the beach in only a few minutes and close enough to anything you need while here. Staff was nice and accommodating and they even let you take beach towels anytime! Room was incredibly clean and had a nice shower and plenty of extra space. Can't say enough good things about this place. Only downside is RCA gets noisy at night for a few hours but don't let that stop you from booking at this AMAZING hotel. I wish every hotel room in the world had this room at this value.

We stayed at the Alisea for four nights, having been recommended to the hotel by some friends. First off, I think the staff are top notch, starting with the manager Thaiya. She immediately made us feel very welcome and was very helpful in sharing information, booking tours and even going to the local market to get us some palm sugar to bring home. The hotel itself is nice, definitely not upscale, but clean and comfortable. Our room was a loft room which was very spacious and quiet. I found it strange that the restaurant was Italian, but as this is a very international town I guess it would make sense that there would be an Italian restaurant in town. We chose not to eat there for dinner but had breakfast there instead each morning. Breakfast was adequate, not great, but it was good enough for people on the go. I would recommend the Alisea to budget travelers who want some luxury but don't want to pay up for one of the more fancy beach hotels. Especially if you're on the go and won't spend a lot of time in and around the hotel, the Alisea was perfect.

The Resort is an awsome place to stay in Krabi. The rooms are quite big and well furnished, and there are some nice complimentary stuffs like complimentary umbrellas, beach towels, beach bag and beach mat, as well as a DVD player in the room, and quite a few english language channels on the TV. The staff were all friendly and had good knowledge of english and the breakfast buffet was kind of ok. Do not need to look for another hotel when I go to Krabi next.One of the best thing about the hotel is the 24 hrs Mac Donald at the hotel doorstep.Our stay was great. The hotel is walking distance to the beach. From the nearby beach you can catch boat and speed boats to the other islands. There are tons of local restaurants close to the hotel. The staff at the hotel was very helpful. Overall, we had a lovely stay at the Aonang Cliff Beach hotel. I highly recommend it.

Elegant hotel facade. Looks very expensive but price is actually a lil bit cheap. Maybe because the location is far from beach but they have free shuttle, the problem was, all shuttle sched from beach back to hotel was fully booked so we had to ride tuktuk that charged us 100baht (3pax). Take note: Hotel staff required 1000 baht for deposit and required us to show passports of all guests staying in the room. So we had to add and pay for extra bed though agoda indicates that extra bed are not applicable for the room. Buffet breakfast was good for 300 baht for 1 person or 550baht for 2 person. Pool was not that big but the mountain view behind pool was breathtaking and relaxing. The room was nice and clean. There's no readily available toothbrush, you have to request from reception if you need them. Also, it would be nice if they can provide room slippers for guests.

Hotel itself is very good, clean. Location - beach in front is not the best one to swim, but to main Ao Nang beach is only 10 minutes walk and 2 minutes walk to boat station that can bring you to Railay or Phra Nang beaches. Very close to plenty of restaurants and convinience stores. To night market it is only 10-15 walk as well. Breakfast is very good and plenty of fresh fruits on top of different dishes are offered. For those who want to stay in Ao Nang and still enjoy quite night would highly recommend this hotel.

We had a very positive stay at this hotel, although the location was not the greatest. It was a bit of a hike from the Ao Nang town and night life. It was across from the beach, but that beach had a lot of long tail boats parked in the way. The hotel staff and the actual accomodations were by far the best part. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The hotel design is very quaint and pretty. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and so helpful. They helped us book several day trips and excursions, gave us lots of helpful information and even let us check out late due to a last minute trek we joined. They were the friendliest staff we met during our trip to Phuket, Phi Phi and Krabi.

Having stayed in so many hotels in my life including 5 star hotels, I think this was the best customer service I have ever received. The staff are so polite, accommodating and helpful. The rooms are spacious and so is the bathrooms. I received a wonderful welcome when I arrived and ask if they could kindly would change my twin room to a king size bed, which they did immediately and guided me around the hotel. They have good breakfast and good restaurant. The hotel is also in a fantastic central, but quiet location. 5 minutes to the beach and jetty to take boats to Railey Beach. % minutes from the main shopping street. I went around to check other hotels in the area and had booked into Vogue hotel prior for one night. I regretted heavily that I did so. Save your time and money and stay in Centara. You will hardly fail. WHhen I wanted to check out they allowed me to stay until 2 pm free of charge.

Overall, apple of a day hotel is more than satisfactory. Hotel is clean, staffs are helpful, location is great and many restaurant near by, walking distance to ao nang beach. Hotel buffet is not many to choose but still ok. Like the juice bar so much, it's a way of starting new day with healthy life style. Next time, if I visit krabi will stay again. Instead of staying at hotel at railay beach area, I will stay here and just go day visit to railay beach. Railay beach hotel are not worth money and not good food around that area though the beach is nicer there. There is a swiss cottage beach trip package seller near apple a day resort, they offer the best beach package, cheaper by 400-500 bhatts than other tour company. We booked and use airport transfer from there 150bhatts per person. It is cheap and affordable when taxi charge 600 bhatts. Overall location, cleanliness and food wise, apple a day is the best choice.

The quality of this hotel was evident from the minute we walked up. The building is only a year old and still in immaculate condition. We originally booked a room on the 3rd floor with a garden view. The staff were not only friendly, but they upgraded us to a top floor room with an ocean view for no extra charge. Their English wasn't great but they were trying their best and that was greatly appreciated. The rooms were very clean and well thought out. The overhead shower was amazing!! Beds were quite comfortable compared to other "high ebd" hotels we have stayed in here in Thailand. The location is close enough to the beach, but far enough from the nightlife noise. Very close to the 8.98 Cafe which is a must for safe, delicious food. We are currently back for a second night after a very uncomfortable stay in Railay where were both got good poisoning. Wake Up Aonang is absolute comfort away from home you can trust. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Well done Wake Up

Nice stay at this hotel, it is only 2 years old and has a fantastic view at the poolside of the mountains. Contrary to what I read about other comments about rude staff I found them to be very nice and pleasant and very helpful in addition very professional. We stayed in a standard room booked online and payed approximately £25 per night with Various discounts in low season the rooms were modern clean and very pleasant but are quite small but we knew this before we booked so no complaints there, probably the only minor complaint I would have is there is insufficient storage space for clothes and we had to leave half of our clothes in the suitcase under the bed. There is a safe, fridge and wall mounted flat screen TV with about 52 channels however I couldn't find one English speaking channel during our stay, there were French Indian Spanish......so I was really surprised at this infact it's a first as nearly every hotel has either a bbc or American news channel, however we didn't come to watch tv so it wasn't a big deal. Very pleasant well designed bathroom with a good shower and provision of liquid soap and shampoo dispensers. Breakfast was good with an egg station that cooked eggs and omelettes to order, for a snack they done great burgers at reasonable price, drinks are quite expensive but there is a happy hour from 5pm. - 7 pm where local beers and cocktails are 2 for 1. The Internet in my room was slow but worked good in public areas. My biggest disappointment was when a huge group of southern Asians turned up and there behaviour at breakfast time and around the pool was barbaric, in addition they let their children run wild throughout the hotel pressing playing in the lifts screaming down the corridors etc.... Although not the hotels fault who they let in, I did think staff and security could have been a bit more assertive......luckily for us they were only there a couple of days! In general apart from my last gripe a very pleasant stay and would definitely go

We stayed at 8Icon for 7 nights and were immediately struck by the staff's hospitality and friendliness. The room was clean and breakfast offered a good variety of yummy food. The hotel is close to both Nopparat Thara Beach and Ao Nang beach (where you can also book a return trip to Railay beach for 200 baht/person). Most boat trips start from Nopparat pier which is relatively close to the hotel, too. You generally don't need to walk to the pier as all travel agencies will arrange a transfer for you which is very convenient (included in the price). The hotel is right next to the Night Market which for us was a two-edged sword, unfortunately. On one hand, we loved the food there (though a bit pricier than the other market situated in the nearby area), on the other hand, our room was on the side of the Night Market which we found pretty noisy every single day until about a midnight which made falling asleep rather tough. But hey, you don't go on vacation to sleep all day, do you?

We have been to Ao Nang many times and had stayed in another nearby hotel (Centara Anda Dhevi) and knew the location of the Deevana. Since our usual hotel (Dhevi) was a little expensive this time we decided to go for the cheaper option of the Deevana. We expected that we would get what we paid for but were pleasantly surprised. It was a similar standard to the Anda Dhevi but at about 2/3 the price. Being a larger hotel the Deevana also offered some facilities that the Anda Dhevi did not. So we were very happy. We also stayed in the Cliff Beach resort on this visit to Ao Nang and for a similar price (garden room at the Cliff Beach) the Deevana is probably a better hotel except that its location is not as central. We are a family of 4, two boys aged 15 and 12. We have travelled extensively in Thailand and have stayed in a lot of other hotels with which we can compare. We stayed 4 nights. This is a four star hotel and that seems about right. The check in was straight forward. Our rooms (we booked two) were not quite ready (we arrived a little before 2pm) but they expedited the cleaning and gave us first one room followed shortly by the second. We booked two adjoining rooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two singles. The rooms were located on the 4th floor in Block 5 (5404/5405). There are a total of 213 rooms in this hotel and all face the pool and other rooms on the other side of the pool. There is no outside views of any significance but the outlook is good. The rooms were clean and tastefully decorated in a modern décor. The bed was comfortable and all facilities in the room worked OK (although we had a few minor issues with room access cards stopping working). The rooms have a safe and you are provided with a beach bag containing two beach towels that can be taken to the pool, the beach or on tours. Breakfast was excellent and on par with the best buffets I have experienced in 4 start hotels in Thailand. There was a good range of food and the resta

Upon check in, we were greeted with an herbal drink and cool towels. Rooms were scented with essential oils and there was a plate of fresh fruits, banana chips and a stocked fridge with bottled water, apple juice and coconut water. Beds, linens, robes and towels are all brand new! There is a complimentary beach bag with beach towels, short and skirt ready to go, as well as, 2 umbrellas. The kids loved the jetted pool and the lounge was perfect for the days we had take out for lunch and dinner. LaRio is just off the main strip but they offer complimentary shuttle to Ao Nang beach. We walked there most days since it’s a nice 15 minutes walk. Service was personable and the whole team, from the GM to the front reception and room attendants, go above and beyond to ensure that we were well cared for in every capacity. We highly recommend this family owned and operated hotel. They offer 5 star service and amenities at a 3 star price tag!

In my opinion, the major plus point of this hotel is the location. It is a 2 mins (I'm not even kidding) walk away from the street food area where the sheer amount of cheap delicious food will blow you away. Walk further down, there will be streets of shops comprising of restaurants, souvenirs and massage and at the end of it is Aonang Beach, probably a 15 mins walk away. This hotel is located between 2 beaches so you have the best of both worlds. Hotel wise, the room is spacious and is well equipped with a kettle, a fridge and a microwave. There is an outdoor space for you to chill and enjoy your food by the pool. The pool and breakfast spread is average. I would recommend to bring insect repellent here as there will be mosquitoes, not many but the occasional few. The staffs are okay but I've seen friendlier staffs in other hotels. Needless to say, I enjoyed my stay in Aonang. A recommended hotel for those on budget.

This is my second time in Krabi after the first one in January 2016. There were 3 of us during the trip this time. We purchased a room for three that consist of one Queen Bed and a Single Bed. Arrived at the hotel at 6:30 in the evening and we were welcomed by a soft-spoken young lady that demonstrates high level of excellence. She briefed us perfectly and clearly mentioned that we could borrow towels from the hotel to bring to the tour packages on the next day (this really made me happy since our last trip to Krabi, the hotel did not allow us to bring towels from hotel, embarrassing!) There are few things I would like to highlight. Firstly, amazing facilities. The hotel's facilities were clean and not obsolete like other hotels we stayed. It was comprehensive. Drinking water provided, hair dryer, large bed, television, mini fridge, closet, hot shower, shower gel and shampoo all are provided. Secondly, strategic location. Few steps away from McDonald,s and Starbucks, which means this hotel is located just along the Ao Nang street. You can just walk from your hotel to a nearby cafe, or even Family Mart. You can walk to the beach too since its too close from the beach. Lastly, the best service we have ever received from the staff. We initially booked the hotel for only three nights, but we ended up staying another night making it four nights in total. The staff kindly make manual reservations for us even we informed them few hours before actual checkout time. We rented the taxi (van) from the hotel which costs us 500 thai baht and departed from the hotel at 5:30 in the morning. The staff made it possible. The were on time and even ringed us for a wake up call at 4:45 am. Overall, i rate this hotel EXCELLENT!

This is the first time I stayed at Holiday Inn Express, I think it's low budget format of the chain but with price we pay it's not that cheap and honestly I expect a little more than that. I'm happy with overall service and the place, the staff were very helpful, the welcome was nice and they were kind to let us check out late until 2 pm. The breakfast was decent and generous, you can do grab&go thing, but the downside is I think, breakfast place is too small, we were there in low season and it almost full. There is no restaurant in hotel so after 10.30 if you need any food you should buy it from outside. The location is convenient, it seems far from the center but I like it more than the other side of Ao Nang because here's more quiet with nice view of beach right in front of the hotel. Overall the stay is good, this is a good place, I maybe or maybe not stay here next time.

This place is a little far from the beach, but one can walk the distance to the Beach easily. On the way attire are a few small restaurants and shops and some other outlets, but i you need a bit more action, it is advisable to walk down the road towards the beach, turn left and after a few meter you will be in the middle of more action and happenings, incl. a starbucks out let. Staff performance in this hotel is very charming, rooms are comfortable enough, breakfast is well sorted - and we had to book the New Years Eve dinner, which was nicely arranged until after midnight by the hotel. As for taking the sights and sounds oaf Thailand there are plenty of opportunities but due to time constrains we did choose only one, the Tiger Cave Temple - and it is awesome. I made it up the hill with more than 1,200 steps and it was worth the climb. Of course the temple itself also offers plenty of interesting statues and stories, but to climb up to the top is a challenge in itself - but also fun and you can enjoy a splendid view from the top - just take enough water along for the long climb.

I had a minor boo-boo during the booking of the reservation as the website hang and I missed the chance to book the hotel for my entire stay. I contacted Agoda to address the issue and they were kind to accord the room from this hotel to me at a discounted rate as I have provided proof that the website died on me. Hotel initially wanted to charge me an exorbitant rate for my last night stay because of it's "unavailability". Apart from the overcharging, it was otherwise a almost perfect stay. I booked a Grand Deluxe Room and paid for an additional bed at 850 baht per night. Requested for extra mattress for the extra bed to ensure that the main bed and extra bed are of the same height, the front desk obliged without much hesitation. Booked Phi Phi Island trip with the front desk and was given a discount and pick up time was prompt. Paid 1,200 baht for 2 way airport transfer and drivers (different driver) was extremely friendly, courteous and on time. Hotel is about 15-20 minutes walk from Ao Nang Beach however there hotel shuttle available. Walk back to hotel at night is a little too dark though with my small children in tow. Only issue is with the safe deposit box in the room which keeps getting stuck and I had to trouble the front desk to keep opening up for me. Once, they send the housekeeping to open up the safe deposit box for me which I think it may be a little wrong as the master key is the key to all the rooms and all safe deposit boxes in the hotel hence only authorized personnel like the manager can hold on to the key.

They say, you pay for what you get. But this was not the case. I booked a Moon-Deck Suite for 3 nights at around 70 USD a night. I thought it was a great deal, until I saw reviews that the place was old, the deck was dirty, the staff were rude. To be honest, I was quite worried. When we reached at around 12pm, we were told that we could only check in at 2pm, hence we decided to leave our luggage and went for lunch. We returned around 1:30pm and was allowed to check-in. The hotel is well maintained and the staff was pleasant. Although you could see that the place was old, everything still worked well. The aircon took some time to cool the room down, however that was not enough. We wanted to change rooms because it wasn't cold enough during the first night, but was told by the friendly staff that we should turn the temperature to 25deg first so as to not let the compressor overwork, and it worked! The aircon was a little bit noisy but that didn't really bother us. The roof top pool and breakfast was the only thing that didn't deserve a 5 star. The rooftop pool was quite dirty and not maintained. Don't expect much for breakfast, not exactly a wide spread, but enough to fill our stomachs. Overall, it was value for money. Location was great, right in the middle of Ao Nang, in between 2 beaches. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly. Would definitely recommend to stay here.

We stayed for 4nights here. Super amazing. If you extand your stay you just pay 600baht per night at the reception. Super cheap. The room is clean. The water heater well function. They also provide snorkeling mask, beach mat, books and it is FREE!!!. A lot of halal food nearby. They can speak Malay too. Renting a scooter highly recommend. Around 200baht per day. A lot of ATM machine and currency exchange here. Their 7 Eleven the best ever. They have all you need. For sure will come back here again! 👏👏👏👏
