I liked this place so much I kept extending all wk. I originally booked this hotel thinking I needed to have a laundry and kitchen because I been travelling for two wks around Asia. Two bedroom apartment was upgraded to a three bedroom as I hoped from all the other ppl reviews online. It's so spacious I am big into space. I stayed with two other friends in their 30s so it was nice to be out of each others way. The main bedroom is ensuite included so its like a normal bedroom size ill find at a five star hotel. The quality of the furniture etc is like in the pictures, very basic and plain ikea like but nice. I liked the DVD included and variety of channels. There were two and a half bathrooms. Room service arrived in about 20 mins and good quality food I didn't have any problems. I loved the pool, part shade for the non tanners. Sauna was nice and hot. It's not too far from everything. There is a grocery variety store that has a bakery in it and sufficient fruit etc that u can obtain for your stay. Checkin is early at 12 so that was an advantage as we didnt have to wait long coming from the other hotel. Bars, clubs and restaurants are not close but it didnt matter caz you pay 2 to 5 aud to go to these locations anyway. I rather the comfortable apartment.

Excellent hotel - actually one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at and I regularly make business trips on a monthly basis. Stayed in a twin room which was modern with a tasteful design, clean and spacious. Beds were very comfortable. All the hotel staff were extremely helpful and they all did a wonderful job in making you feel welcomed and always went above and beyond. They would always hold the door for you and they proactively provided assistance whilst I was waiting for an organised tour one morning by helping me to find out when the tour bus would actually arrive. The only real downside to this hotel and it unfortunately is out the hotel's control is there is a night club nearby and you can actually hear the booming sound at night - it didn't trouble me too much as I stayed at a room on a high floor. Other than that, it is also very close to a lot of attractions - within 15 minutes walk to the Central Post Office, the Independence Palace and the War Remnants Museum.

This was our first visit to Ho Chi Minh City to visit our son and meet his wife's family. We were looking for a hotel with good quality at a decent price and the Aristo Hotel fit the bill. It's not a five star, more like a 3.5 star hotel but the staff added value. They were attentive to all of our needs. Most of the staff that we interacted with understood and spoke English well and they responded quickly to our requests. The breakfast buffet had a decent variety with some different options each day (we were there for a week), including an omelet station. We used the coupons we received at check-in for the onsite spa and went for the full body and foot massage package. There is only one changing area shared by men and women. This is something they should address as the only option for privacy in the changing area were the two shower stalls with frosted glass. The massages themselves were wonderful and a great way to relax after our full day tour of the Mekong River which we were able to book at the reception desk. One other note. Any time we went down to the lobby, the doorman would ask if we needed a taxi. When we did, a taxi was at the door within two minutes. There was plenty to see within walking distance. The Independence Palace (or Reunification Palace, depending on where you are from) is only three blocks away, the War Remnants Museum is two blocks away and Notre Dame Cathedral and the Post Office is about a half mile away. If you are looking for a quiet room, this may not be your hotel. It's not overly loud but you will hear the traffic in the morning and you are likely to hear a PA announcement from a nearby center occasionally. On balance, when factoring in the staff, location and the spa, I would say we made the right choice. I would not hesitate to book another stay at the Aristo Hotel.

Everything about this hotel is 5-star or first class. The hotel is newly built and very fresh and the decoration of this hotel is truly lovely from the lobby to roof top lounge area. The breakfast buffet is to die for and one of the best ones we have ever had. The staff is very service minded and well trained and rooms are clean and have all that you need and really comfortably beds especially considered been in Vietnam. During our stay the where some mistakes ordering at the pool bar and breakfast but it is understandable since this place is new and it takes some time to make everything nice and smooth. We could highly recommend this place and if we are back in Ho Chi Minh City we would definitely stay here again.

Finally I found the hotel I should revisit and stay again in next visit to HCMC. I have been visiting to HCMC for almost a year and now I found the best hotel. Start from friendly staffs to until the cleanness of the hotel, this kind of best of the best hotel you will never be found in HCMC. Price also reasonable when you compare with other 4 stars hotels and the great thing is you will get superb services. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Have a great value of money!It's close to airport,only takes 20minutes to get there.There is not many entertainments surrounding.The breakfast is just so-so,only a few kinds of food.But it's ok,the room is clean.The spa is so cheap,but must give some tips,it's also cheaper than any other 3,4,5 star hotel.I like Thailand spa,very strong but especially comfortable.I have stayed here for four days,i enjoyed my stay.

My family stayed at the hotel. And after reading some people's reviews, I was a abit worried what I had booked, On arrival and now after departing. I do not understand where the negative reviews come from, It is a nice and clean 3 star hotel. NOT a five star hotel. If you want 5 star then pay for 5 star. Staff could not have been any more friendly or helpful with my family. Security even took us out one night when they had finished to show us areas where tourists don't bother to look at, where they treated us to a meal. Hotel in an ideal area. 10 mins walk to most tourist destinations. But also in district 3 where some of nicest street food we tasted and cheaper than district 1.

Overall a great stay in a very new and modern hotel. Still can't believe how cheap it is to stay in such a nice hotel. This hotel would be equivalent to a 5 star hotel in Sydney. We stayed in a double deluxe room on the 8th floor. The king size bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very new with marble walls and floors. The free breakfast was the best we've had throughout the hotels we've stayed in Vietnam, especially the beef pho! The only downside to the hotel is that it's a bit far from the city centre, around 15min walking distance.

The hotel is located close to supermarkets, shops and places to eat. It is small enough to give personal service and staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite spacious and look new with a pleasant decor and a lift serves all 4 floors. My room was quiet but traffic noise can be a problem in some rooms. The range of free breakfast items is not large but is fine and the ground floor dining area also offers lunch. I have no idea why this hotel only has a 2 star rating, it certinly deserves at least 3 stars.

The hotel is a nice modern hotel, only 5 minutes from the war museum. The breakfast had a good range and the rooms were nice and clean. However, the walls sounded like they were being hammered on when it rained. So if you sleep lightly, it may not be the best for your stay. The biggest negative was at the end of our stay, when the hotel tried to con us with a taxi to the airport. They tried to charge us double the rate of a metred taxi and provide us with a small car which was driven by a friend or relative of the hotel staff. This was not acceptable and I had to argue for my money back and got a separate taxi as a result.

We feel that the hotel deserved more than 3 stars rating. The room is way beyond our expectation; it is clean, nicely designed, comfortable. Staffs are friendly although some receptionists still need to speak more in English; they had tried their level best to assist us. They never forgot to smile. The location of the hotel is strategically situated in this part of the city where it is not crowded with activities but near enough to the major spot where all shops is located. It was such amazing experience although it was just a short transit stay in Minh Khang Hotel, Saigon. We highly recommend this hotel to all the travelers out there.

Originally booked for 2 nights but decided to stay an extra night at the White Lion Hotel. The staff there were very friendly and eager to offer assistance - from the concierge service to reception countet and restaurant. Staff have also assisted with printing of confidential documents without extra charges. On my last day, an offsite conference for the staff of a local Petrolimex Bank took place on level 1 of the hotel. Clearly, this is an evidence that the venue has been chosen based on excellent service provided by the management/staff/facilities. In addition, guests can also enjoyed a varieties of Viet/Chinese/Japanese/American/French cuisines within walking distance from the hotel. The Paris Baguette nearly also offered a wide range of French cakes and coffees, including the most famous Vietnamese Iced Coffee (Cà phê Sữa Đá). In summary, strongly recommended for both individual and group travellers to stay at this hotel. :)

This is the place to stay if you want to experience Vietnamese culture first hand. From the moment we arrived we were treated like family. No request was ignored and each member of the Evergreen staff responded graciously whenever we prevailed upon them. Unfortunately, I had a medical emergency while staying at the hotel which required hospitalization. Ms. Lien's staff jumped into action at her direction and helped me into a waiting vehicle that sped me away to the hospital. The doctors told me that had I not arrived as quickly as I did the outcome would have been severe. Upon my return, I informed Ms. Lien that I was scheduled to move into an apartment the following day. I asked her if I could hire one of her men to help me carry suitcases into my new home as I was physically unable. Not only did she make a man available; she insisted that she would do this at no charge in order to help me. Thank you, Ms. Lien, and your fine staff! You literally saved my life. For those of you who do not require a visit to the hospital during your stay, make sure you venture across the street to the public park to see how the locals spend their free time and just how warm and friendly the people are.The location also affords easy access to all the top sites to visit during a short or long stay. I only wish that I could give this facility, Ms. Lien and her wonderful staff a 10 star review rather than 5.

The New Pacific is very good hotel for business and leisure travelers alike. All of the front desk staff and concierge speak English. All of the hotel staff are very friendly. The hotel location is very good with easy walking to nice restaurants. The hotel has very fast and reliable internet. My room and bathroom were very large and comfortable. The laundry service is great. The hotel decor is unique and beautiful with its gilded architecture and use of rich dark woods, marble and high ceilings, it is really quite beautiful. The hotel has an amazing spa that all guests should use and it is a great value too. I would strongly recommend this four star hotel to anyone.

I should say this is the best value for money hotel in Ho Chi Min City! Rated no 9 on TripAdvisor, at first I was surprised why a 2 1/2 star hotel is rated top! After 3Ns at Thien Thao Hotel, I know the exact reasons! Service was excellent! I booked for 3 Adults, came with 4 because of the last min decision of my youngest son, and was given complimentary upgrade to a suite + daily breakfast for 3 nights at no extra cost! Excellent service, clean rooms, easy to get a cab, free wireless, what more do a traveller wants? Perfect holiday at a perfect hotel. My sons and I vowed to return..:)

we were surprised that the hotel was situated in a back alley. but after a short walk past a few local homes, we found ma maison and stepping into ma maison was like stepping into the home of a close friend as we were warmly greeted by natasha - the owner of the hotel. we were ushered into the cafe-reception area of this quaint little hotel-home, where we were served with fresh, icy cold passionfruit juice while checking-in. natasha promptly settled our check-in and planned a day tour for us around hcm city since we were only there for a day. it is so rare to be greeted with such hospitality these days. our room was absolutely lovely and so clean you've got to book a stay here to see it for yourself. we stayed in the deluxe room and it definitely provided me with a restful, peaceful night's sleep away from the bustle of hcm city. one thing to note though, there are no elevators in this little hotel so be prepared to climb 4 floors up to the deluxe room. but the room is worth every bit of energy you put into climbing those stairs. make sure you start your day with the breakfast they serve at the cafe. there's a choice of vietnamese or european breakfast. we had the vietnamese breakfast and both the noodles (can't remember the exact names of the noodles but the seafood noodle was a saigon dish and the beef noodle was a central vietnam dish as we were told by natasha's uncle) we had were the best we had in vietnam so far. the additional baguette we were kindly offered had a thin n crispy skin and light and fluffy on the inside. yum!

This hotel was well situated and there were many restaurants within walking distance. The room was clean and although being next to a main road they were also quiet. The receptionists were extremely helpful and tried their best to help you with booking taxis and for giving sightseeing advice or directions. You could exchange currency within the hotel. The breakfast was disappointing and there was a very limited choice. However, for the cost of the rooms what do you expect. There was a good choice of English TV. There was a massage parlour and Karaoke bar within the hotel which at night seemed to be busy with wealthy clientele from outside of the hotel. Overall, it was a fairly good hotel and fit for purpose. I probably would stay there again when I go back to HCMC.

Big hotel with a lot of privacy. Stayed at level 2 in the suite room. There is a kitchen area with all the plates and utensils that you can use too. Clean and cosy, water in the bathroom was also really strong and nice. Bathroom clean, bed very comfortable! Although we can still hear some sound from the road outside, it is still acceptable to us. No problem sleeping at all. Staff were really helpful and nice, and the security guard was always so sweet and helpful too. Gives a feeling that they are all so down to earth and want to give their best. Location is not bad, and there is a push cArt store selling. Banh mi (French loaf sandwich) and fried noodles. Also v delicious and clean. 4storey highland coffee is just opposite the hotel, nice place to chill and have nice coffee and cake. Would definitely come back to this hotel! Grab transport in Vietnam is really simple and affordable! Weather was hot so we took grab everywhere.

We had a very good stay in Citadines during our holiday in Ho Chi Minh City, the hotel is new and pretty, spacious room, good facilities, very welcoming and friendly staffs. The location is also great, walking distance to many main attractions or a very short ride with taxi or grab. the breakfast is ok, I'd prefer to go out for some good Pho or Bahn mi nearby (Must try 'Pho Hoa Pasteur' i think they got the best beef Pho in town). Also, the hotel allowed us to check out late which is very helpful! overall recommended this hotel to everybody!

This hotel is new, so the rooms are clean and well furbished. I booked two nights here and extended another night through the hotel, and they kindly gave me a lower rate from Agoda for Deluxe room. The staffs are friendly, they tried their best to help even with their limited English. When I asked them directions to Soc Trang, they helped me look for a coach that goes there and offered to book a hotel for me if I needed one. Location of hotel is in district 3, but Ben Tanh market and the luxe Dong Khoi street are easily acessible by taxi. The best thing about this hotel was the service I got and it was one of the best I've come across for a hotel like this.

We were really enjoyed with our stay which I ended up staying for another 5 days. The new block is pretty clean and fitted with luxury items including air conditioning, big bar fridge and impressive bathroom considering with its star rating. The self toilet cleaning only could by found in at least 3/4 stars hotel. Another convenience things that both bar fridge and the air conditioning have their own switch that they could be left unattended while you are out. We could not forgot not to mention that all staff are nice and friendly. Their hospitality are superb , they always there ready to help or consult with tourist people. Even you turned up later for brekkie they are still smiling and served you late meals. We gave them a big thump up The location is centralized with everything as Vuon Chuoi market is next doors including other facilities I recommended to my sister whom she will be traveling to Việt Nam! In April this year

I generally stay at the Ruby Star if I am spending time in Saigon. I like the location, not in the high tourist area but close enough to get to any sites you want. Location gives you an opportunity to experience some true Vietnamese life. I always enjoy the street food and small restaurants in this area. Don't miss the street restaraunt that sets up across the street M-F for a selection of items. The girl running it speaks excellent English and is anxious to help you. If you haven't tried it before this an excellent place to start. The hotel staff are especially friendly and willing to help. The sacrifice is a hotel room without windows, but A/C works great and I have an alarm to let me know when it's time to get up.

we were given our rooms very fast, we were not charged for an early check in as we arrived at around 1am, the hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating, they would go the extra mile to help us. the hotel was near a market so we were able to buy fruits at a much lower price, there was also a coop food mart near the hotel so were able to buy toiletries and food for a lower price also. there was a police station near the hotel so we felt safe. there was a church nearby and local restaurants, kfc, and dominos nearby also.

Pushed back in a small hem, (alley way) not scary at all! this posh hotel is everything I needed for a quiet rest. You don’t hear the noise from the hundreds of motorbike. Yet it’s just about 50 ft from the Main Street, “Cao Thang” the room is small yet posh and cozy. No restaurant, no bellman ... nothing fancy yet it felt like a place you want to come back to after a full day of touristing. Would be staying here again whenever I come back to this part of Vietnam.
