the rooms is big even after we put an extra bed in it, my 4 years daugther still can run all offer the room. the bed is very comfortable. i must remember to request a view to bukit bintang road or pavillion mall next time. the location also very strategic, we only need to walk a few seconds to pavillion mall, a very big and modern mall in kl, farenheit mall across the hotel, and bukit bintang monorail station.

I am very happy to be staying at the Royal Kuala Lumpur Hotel, a strategic location near Bukit Bintang MRT station, Alor street, Pavillion Mall, Sungei Wang Mall, Lot 10 Mall, Berjaya Times Mall. Room space is clean and big, Toilet was big. Facilities are good, there is a swimming pool, Gym area, Sauna. Very friendly hotel staff, special thanks to Mr Francis as Front Office Manager, he was very friendly and very helpful when our taxi got stuck in front of the hotel. Greetings from long eyelashes Miss, sir 🤣. I will stay here again if I go to Kuala Lumpur. Thanks Hotel Royal Kuala Limpur for its service

the hotel is just a street behind Berjaya Time Square. with all the construction of the roads, it made the hotel seem like it's in the midst of a rowdy area but it is actually quite conveniently located with bukit bintang stretch just a 10min walk away, 5min walk to the LRT station and the hotel provides shuttle service to Pavillion Mall, KLCC! the check-in and out was speedy & prompt, the concierge is helpful and the room is delightful to stay in. they provide all toiletries and even offer Crabtree & Evelyn's products in their bathroom. it is obvious that the hotel is newly refurbished from the looks of the old coffee table & office desk, but honestly, you would overlook these details with the experience. by the time we checked out today, we were running late but we receive no calls or urge from the hotel to check out which i thought was quite surprising and pleaseant. they even help to arrange for cab booking to the airport with complete initiative. the breakfast offers a wide array of selections but they don't top up fast enough and the service experience at the Spices Cafe is not great. the breakfast experience is probably the only con of the hotel i had probably due to the full occupancy of the hotel this weekend. but the service waiters & waitresses are not attentive and seem like every request was an offense to them. they turnover the tables but don't set up the utensils and it was almost self-service for coffee & tea. get them to set a new setting for you if possible so that you can oversee that they use fresh sets of utensils because i noticed unused utensils were just re-used for the next setting which kind of overturn my appetite.

My friends and I really do enjoy our stay at the hotel. The hotel is so near to the Pavillion but a bit far from the MRT, requiring around 5 minutes walk. The staff is slightly unfriendly than what I am expecting. The hotel room is spacious and comfortable. Overall facilities like swimming pool and gym are a bit small. However, the hotel overall exceeds my expectation as I didn't have high expectation on the hotel when I booked it at a cheaper price. I would like to recommend this hotel if you intend to live nearby Pavillion mall with a cheaper budget.

I booked the Merdeka Deluxe Rooms. Quite spacey and clean. Price was a good deal too. The location was very strategic to everywhere... I really mean everywhere... So there's a good side and bad side. Let's start with the good side.. Easy to get foods. If you go along the street, on one end of the street you would find 3 big shopping malls. Including new Pavilion Mall. Exactly behind the hotel, there's Plaza Low Yat, largest IT shopping mall. And bit further behind Plaza Low Yat, you will arrive at Time Square shopping mall. You can use monorail from there if want to travel other places. Just across the hotel, there's a small road, which bring you to Alor Street. The best and well known for street food hawkers. Many variety of foods. Tried this and that, and no complaint at all. All were wonderful. If you like durian, don't forget to try on the other end of the street. Kinda pricey, but really good quality of durian. These restaurants open till very late in the morning. There's even 24hrs Kopitiam. Now the bad side... nothing much actually. But because the hotel really located at the main street of Bukit Bintang, there's lots of clubs. So it could get very noisy till morning too. For people like me, made me hard to sleep. Main street always traffic jammed, even till late. So if you traveling with kids, better try to avoid your kids from hearing or looking at those kind of scenes. But from my experience, it still quite a save area. I would love to go back and stay at Federal Hotel.

We stayed for 2 days. The room was spacious, clean and satisfied with the location as the hotel just around shopping centre (Pavillion Mall). However, I bit dissapointed with their breakfast services. Upon check-in, I've been inform by the staff that we can get 10% off if we reserve breakfast one day before. Later, around 11pm I went to the lobby and booked for the breakfast for tomorrow morning. The staff at the counter said she already reserved our breakfast with 10% and during breakfast we just come and tell our room number . The payment can be made upon checkout. However, when my parents went for breakfast, they charged them without 10% and need to pay the full price for the breakfast as they didnt get any record from the system. How come 5 star hotel be like this? Internal system cannot check the record item? I hope management can look into it and hopefully this wont happen again to other guests.

The location of the hotel is very good , 1 min walking for monrail , the adjoing mall is also good but the pavillion mall which is one of the best mall in KL is 10 min walking distance, the staff is very friendly and the rooms are also very good.The best part is the safe location and a mall besides the hotel, also the adjoing mall is having a theme park which is very good. Onething, whenever u take a taxi take it from taki coupon adjoining starkbucks , it is very cheap and safe , donot confuse it with their limo service.

The hotel is a nice middle-ground between luxurious & boutique. Rooms are new, clean, comfortable & very spacious. A very no-frills hotel - I don't think they have a restaurant/pool/gym. Some of the rooms have open-concept bathroom with frosted glass doors for the shower & toilet. So if you travel with friends or family, bear in mind they'll be able to see a full view of you washing your face, brushing your teeth and also your silhouette (through the frosted glass) when you're bathing. Definitely love the location. Right beside Pavillion Mall which has lots of great food and upscale cafes like Wild Honey & ABC (don't have to travel around KL to cafe-hop when they are all inside a mall now!) Another perk is being able to book a midnight movie & simply walking the few mins back to the hotel after movie is over. Will continue to stay here whenever I'm back in KL!

Hotel was perfectly located in Bukit Bintang, opposite Pavillion mall and the other shopping malls. The monorail is a short walk down the road, making it easy to access other parts of the city. Service was excellent throughout, from the reception staff to the doormen. Hotel provides evening turn-down service. The room itself was spacious. Especially liked the large bathroom, with the separate toilet, walk-in shower, and bathtub. Bed was comfortable, but the comforter and top sheet had visible stains. Room was modern but showed poor workmanship. Not what you'd expect from a 5 star hotel.

Very easy place to stay. Very helpful and friendly staff throughout. Well appointed 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with kitchen, lounge and study. Used room service one night which was efficient and good quality. Disappointed that only 1 of the 2 pools available for our children - and the one pool was quite deep (more for laps). This wasn't obvious when I booked. Very good selection at the breakfast buffet, with great service staff. Kids (7 and 9) loved the mezzanine internet/library/play area - great idea. Lots of options for dinner very close by hotel - Pavillion mall food courts, Jalan Alor, basic and more up-market restaurants.

I booked in another famous hotel booking site as a surprised hotel. At first, I was not so impressed as I was opting to choose another hotel. But booking was paid already and cancellation was not an option. But upon arrival at the hotel, we were brought to the corporate lounge for the check-in process served with a welcome drinks and cookies. It was a privilege for choosing club room. The hotel was relatively newly refurbished and doesn't smelled those old rundown hotels. I must say that our stay was near to perfect. The room was clean, the staff was approachable and plus we really enjoyed the high-tea buffet and evening cocktails as entitlement for booking Club Room. It was an advantage that the location was situated right at the heart of the City. It was mere 5 minutes walk to Bukit Bintang and Pavillion Mall. While going to Petronas Tower, it was only 15 minutes walking distance. Added advantage was that it was near to Green Monorail Station..the Rajah Chulan station. Also, i would like to commend the Front Desk Manager Jerame for extending her assistance to us. I would not hesitate to stay again in Hotel Istana if given a chance to travel to Kuala Lumpur again. :) :) :)

Our experience in Bukit Bintang was 10 times much better because we chose Ramada suites. It is a wonderful hotel with a very accommodating staff. They accepted all our requests from late check outs to arranging taxis. The hotel in itself is very clean our room was great with a splendid view. The bed was very relaxing. The infinity pool on the 9th floor is something to look for. The best aspect of this hotel is its location. Everything was in the vicinity, from Changhat to Jelan Alor. The best bars in KL and the best food in KL. Petronas and Menara KL was at a walking distance and so was Berjaya Times Square, Lot 10 and Pavillion Mall. We saved a lot on taxis by going to all these places by walk. This is now my go to hotel for life. Whenever I visit KL, I would always come here. I have developed a longing for the place and the hotel!

This hotel is really strategic, located in the corner of bukit bintang and behind jalan imbi. Very close to Sungei Wang and Bukit Bintang Plaza. 5-10mins walk to jalan alor where all the street foods (must try the bbq sting ray and chicken satay). Around 15-20mins walk to Lot 10 and Pavillion(great shopping center) and Starhill. 10mins walk to Times Square (but for me this mall is not worth to go). 30mins walk to KLCC. 20-30mins walk to Chinatown. The security hotel is very kind and helpful, receptionist is very friendly as well. The room is great for the value you pay. Good interior and clean bathroom and very cold aircon in the room. This hotel is much much better than any other budget hotel. Got free internet access in the lobby. Got star movie channel in the room. Did not try the food in the hotel as standard room not including breakfast. You will not regret to say there.

A huge construction for the upcoming train station was going on so to access a few cheap malls are difficult as you have to make one big round.Its pointless to take a cab to Pavillion mall because of the daily traffic jam. So 10-15 mins walk to Pavilion. From pavilion u can walk down to the bukit bintang malls like fahrenheit, bb plaza, sungei wang plaza, berjaya times square. The hotel provides free shuttle service to klcc, bukit bintang malls and chinatown petaling street. Fyi, u can walk down using a covered bridge from klcc to Pavilion.

The location of this hotel is amazing. It is in the best area of the Golden Triangle near the Ritz, Marriot, Westin and opposite the Millennium hotel, all very near the Pavillion. We book a room but we got an upgrade to a huge renovated appartment, with two large bedrooms, two bathrooms, a huge living room with an equipped kitchen and dinning area. The apartment was spotless clean and we had very nice views. The hotel hall outside the rooms don't look nice but the rooms and apartments are very very good. The check-in and out were very quick and profissional (we arrived after 1:00 am at the hotel). We will definitely return to this hotel as we love Kuala Lumpur. **Shopping tip: The Shopping Mall Pavillion is elegant and has many nce shops and a great food square. The hotel has a lift that get us to another shopping center, an outlet with nice shops as well

The hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk from the Pavillion mall but it’s not as centrally locates as they make it out to seem. The hotel is more of a gallery with great apart but it needs work as a hotel room. I wasn’t a fan of the mattress on the floor but the mattress itself was comfortable. The worst part was all the noise from our neighbors that we could hear clearly through thin walls. The laughing, yelling, and talking from 10pm-4am was annoying. The continental breakfast sucked and wasn’t worth the money. It was just lettuce, toast, cereal, boiled eggs (on some days), and coffee/tea. They also didn’t clean our room the second day of our stay, I had to specifically request it be cleaned and restocked at the front desk.

This hotel is literally in the middle of the happening area of Bukit Bintang. Pavillion mall is 2-3 mins walk away. The street where this hotel is has delicious shawarma and other arabic food restaurants. The room I got was a bit small with no such view but it was cost friendly and I was traveling alone so not a big deal. I would suggest this hotel to budget travellers who would like to stay in the heart of the party area ok KL.

If you are on budget will recommended staying this hotel. Location walking distance to bukit bintang and also to Pavillion. Clean and no smelly moldy bathroom. For bathroom they use glass as wall . So if you feel akward with travel partner not recomended to stay at this hotel as you can see shadows inside in the bathroom. Well not that see through glass but if you are okay with it, should be no problem. Brekfast included but during my stay only Fried mee served with coffee / tea .

As the title goes the hotel fits every aspect of traveler. Value for money with slightly priced above rm200 you get a four star international hotel. The location is superb which located in the heart of KUala lumpur. Nearby, you will find a lot of restaurants and convenient store. Easy access to transportation. light rail transit and monorail just a stone throw away. Big shopping malls like Kuala Lumpur time square, lot 10., the branded and high end mall star hill and pavilion are within walking distance. The only set back was the buffet breakfast which was not really have a many choices. Anyway with this kind of price I can't expect they can offer a great buffet. I will give a 9.5 out of 10 for the price and the standard of the hotel been offered.

I love this hotel! 5 walk out from bukit bintang monorail station! So very easy to find this ( near kfc bukit bintang ) and around with shopping mall like “ Farenheit 88 , Isetan , Pavillion kl , Starhills , Guardian phamacy shop ) and 5 walk to Jalan alor street food! So good location , clean , everything here is good! Please know that you will be charged 10 myr per night , and 50 myr for keycard ( return 50 myr when u checkout ) and this hotel is near Gokl bus stop!!!! Love xx will come back here again so soon

I've been to KL, Bukit Bintang a couple of times before with friends and family. However, this was my first time as a solo traveller. Looking for the hotel isn't that difficult, thanks to Google Maps. This cosy hotel is situated just beside the carpark entrance of Grand Milennium KL which is beside Pavillion Mall. From Berjaya Times Square, it took me a 10mins walk. I was familiar to Bukit Bintang so it wasn't much of a concern. The room i had was the Deluxe Room Double. It was good enough, clean enough, comfortable enough for me. Aircon was working well, the tv channels wasnt an issue because my purpose of stay was for shopping. The bathroom was spacious and clean too. It's a wet toilet, not that it was a problem. I was very satisfied with the room but it was probably lacking a cupboard/wardrobe to hang your clothes for those who intend to stay longer than 3 days, that would be a problem maybe. Being a solo traveller & aware of the attacks in KL, i was very concerned about security. I wanted my night stay to be a safe one, a paranoia-free night. This hotel has a security guard at the entrance and they even locked the entrance door when it was already night. It means only the staff or hotel guests can enter. For a boutique hotel in KL, this is impressive. There are many other hotels offering cheaper rates but this hotel is slightly higher by 15-20$ pernight but it was worth it for a peace of mind. There is an eatery / coffeeshop located directly in front of the hotel. Well, its good because you can have cheap and good local food and drinks. Setback is, it opens till late. By late i mean like 3am ish. It'll be pretty noisy throughout the night. If ur a light sleeper, use earplugs to have a good sleep. I managed to sleep but got awaken once by motorcycles revving. A very popular noise in KL, fyi. Overall, i am satisfied and happy with my stay. I would def stay there again if im travelling solo.

Hotel is still in good condition although some fixtures are worn. My toilet's WC for instance had a very weak flush, requiring you to flush, wait for a minute, flush again, and repeat once more. One thing I disliked is that the hotel room soundproofing is relatively weak. I can hear even soft conversations being had in the hallway outside. Also early in the morning (5-6am) I kept hearing thumps (think like someone unloading huge argon cylinders to the ground) on the floor which I suspect came from the maintenance lifts around the corner from my room. I have no idea what they were unloading (guessing cleaning equipment). Light sleepers will find this annoying. Breakfast selection is average, not exceptional. You have you standard selection of western (chicken sausages, chicken ham, baked beans, potatoes), local (nasi lemak, fried noodles), an omelette station, a roti canai station, several types of cereal, salad, fruits and a bread/toast station. Drinks offered included a selection of processed juices (apple, mango, orange), plus of course coffee and tea. The location is of course a huge plus point, being just a hundred metres to Low Yat Plaza (IT/Tech gadgetry), a little further gives you Sungei Wang (pretty dead though due to the MRT construction). Another hundred metres past that you'll hit the high end shopping malls of Pavillion, Star Hill and Lot 10. Times Square is another hundred metres from Low Yat in another direction. If you're willing (and able to walk), there's quite a nice covered route from Pavillion to KLCC (more shopping!). The distance is about 300-400 metres if I am not mistaken. Food options in the area are plentiful. Jalan Alor has relatively cheaper street/open air restaurants (priced a lil higher than the norm since it's touristy), whilst the different malls have cuisines to suit almost all budgets, from the cheap (Sungei Wang top floor food court), to fine dining (Pavillion has a huge number of options). Transport options to further area

The floor drain in the shower room is already rusty, i think because of the water. They should change it so guest can be comfort anyway. The TV channel is suck. How can it be only 5 channels? Not much things i can watch. The hot water is good. The best thing about this hotel is the location is very to food center, jalan alor, and to mall center, Pavillion Mall etc. Also, the wifi is good. Staffs quite friendly. Regarding to the location, maybe i will come again when i visiting KL, but please change the floor drain on the shower room. Thank u ;)

1. Location - Right in the middle of Bukit Bintang area. It's walking distance to malls, probably about 10 mins. But I would advise taking an Uber for safety reason. It's near to Pavillion, Farenheit 88, and all the malls around the golden triangle. 2. F&B - The hotel is surrounded by F&B outlets around the area. There is a bakery right opposite, then a cafe on the same row (looks like a popular cafe, looked full house in the morning). At night, there is a bar just at the corner of the same row and many more 3. The room - I stayed in the Loft room. it's perfect. the room is quiet, spacious with it's unique duplex design. bathroom, closet and study desk at the lower floor, bed and TV on the upper. Nice amount of space for two people. Modern and minimalist design. Great value for the amount we paid.
