There is a bath-tub too, which I would have gladly traded for a larger shower stall. The house specialty is Asian cuisine likewise in-room dining is mostly Asian. The usual kettle and tea things are in place, moreover a micro-wave, cereal bowls and cutlery are above par. The Grande Centre Point is pricey, and worth every penny. Book early, without hesitation.

Going to other places was also very convenient as there is a BTS station, National Stadium nearby. After check-out we took the BTS station to go to Suvarnabhumi airport, which took about 30mins travelling time. Please note from BTS National Stadium, you need to change at Siam and proceed to Phaya Thai. From here you need to purchase a ticket which costs about 45baht all the way to the airport. Though the train system there is stil room for improvement but still 2 thumbs up for the great convenience as major attractions such as Chatuchak Market, Rod Fai 2 Market, etc are located nearby the train stns.

(breathtaking view from the treadmills over the city). on top of that centara grand features the red sky bar on the 55th floor open until 1am everyday. best views guaranteed. only drawback is the price. everything is overpriced at this hotel. every drink, internet, business center, breakfast, it's more expensive than even in europe! for breakfast we payed 756thb. almost four times more than at aetas residences in bkk. for 5min internet and 4 pages printed we payed 220thb!! for thai measures very expensive. room price is ok tho'

after i read positive reviews from agoda and tripadvisor, i booked this hotel thru agoda, instead of slh site, because agoda provided super low special promotion at that time ($150 for studio including tax and service charge). i stayed for 5 nights for relaxation and recharging after heavy work for last few months. this hotel fits very well to my purpose for holiday ...after i read positive reviews from agoda and tripadvisor, i booked this hotel thru agoda, instead of slh site, because agoda provided super low special promotion at that time ($150 for studio including tax and service charge). i stayed for 5 nights for relaxation and recharging after heavy work for last few months. this hotel fits very well to my purpose for holiday and i enjoyed 100%. 1. location taxi driver might not find hansar so you may ask four season or hyatt erawan (they are very close by). other wise, public transportation is good. bts station is in 3 min walking. you can move to siam (1 station away) or silom direction. for sukumvitt direction, you can transfer at siam station or walk little more (10-15 min) and take a sky train at chitlom bts station. 2. studio room (entry level) it has huge space for room itself and storage areas. room is separated from bathroom with sliding doors. separate kitchen and study sections are near the main door. the bed and living room are combined and represent as main area of the room. washer/dryer (provided with a detergent and a softner) was very useful if you easily get sweated under the bkk weather. mini-bar was free with sodas, beers and bottled water with few snacks, but not fancy since they are free. bathroom was great with separated rain shower room and soaking bath. room service will clean your room 2 times a day to maintain neat and fresh.

A small swimming pool is available at level 5M but we never had a chance to use it. There are also laundry machines at level 17.

However tuktuk was provided to and fro the hotel, did not try the service of tuktuk from chidlom station to hotel tho. 7-11 is within walking distance but still it’s quite far to get to the nearest.. around the vicinity there’s bars and cafe that I did not check out Staff was nice and welcoming, went to the front desk at odd hours to asked for toiletries they offered to send it up tho! What really touched me was, my dad’s birthday falls on one day of our stay. The team had prepared a card and a slice of cake in the fridge and it was Super sweet of them!! really appreciate the effort they put for the guest!

Anyway, we didn't take it up, and guess what, the journey to the hotel by Airport Rail Link, where you then transfer to a BTS at Phaya Thai BTS Station, taking to Siam BTS Station, then switching to another line to reach National Stadium BTS Station (while sounds like quite a long journey), took us like just about an hour or so, and I would say with minimal walking. So it's relatively convenient, and you get to see the sights along the way too without being stuck in Bangkok's notorious traffic jam. Hotel staff are okay; they didn't strike me as particularly friendly or rude. Rooms are clean too, though the pillows are a little too soft (neck ache!). The gym on the 29th floor is awesome, where you get to work out after indulging in all the delicious Thai food while taking in the sights of Bangkok's cityscape. At the same time, you can also plan where you'd like to eat somemore for the rest of the day because you have paid your dues by exercising on a holiday, so you deserve a treat! The bellboy came rushing to help my sister and I with our luggage upon arrival. We got a standard double twin room and the room was quite old, but to us it was okay, since we just needed a place to rest/sleep. Every morning without fail, the staffs greet us with a smile and will ask how's our day/recommend places for us to go. Buffet breakfast was good too, there were lots of variety! The hotel is just 5mins walk away to Pantip mall which sells all the IT gadgets raging from laptops/cameras/iPhone accessories/ bb casing and 10mins walk to Platinum fashion mall. It is also a 5-10mins walk to Siam Paragon and Siam BTS station

The gym is exceptional which runs 24hours. Located right at the roof top of the hotel it gives a breathtaking view of the city while you sweat it out. Very well equipped.

MBK shopping centre is located across the street and you can walk to Siam Discover shopping centre (approx 10 min) which links with Siam Centre and then Siam Paragon. Or you can use BTS skytrain (approx 15 baht/stop) to access these and many other sights. Value for money!

You can't beat the Renaissance. You get the 5-star luxury without paying the 5-star price like the other big chains around Erawan. The Renaissance is tucked just behind the Erawan beside the Chit Lom BTS station. There isn't much to do or eat there late at night except for McDonalds. During the day and evening, however, the Siam area is bustling with people, shops, str...You can't beat the Renaissance. You get the 5-star luxury without paying the 5-star price like the other big chains around Erawan. The Renaissance is tucked just behind the Erawan beside the Chit Lom BTS station. There isn't much to do or eat there late at night except for McDonalds. During the day and evening, however, the Siam area is bustling with people, shops, street merchants, etc. The hotel itself is a modern chic with touches of Thai culture. The room is spacious with a large bathroom with glass windows and a big tub. The room even has a gong! The bed, pillows, and sheets are extremely comfortable. A few hiccups with the housekeeping: the first time they took away one towel for no reason, but housekeeping is very fast once you call them, and they're very polite and professional; the second time they left the cold water faucet knob detached (it was already loose) without doing anything about it, but the next day they had maintenance glue it back on; and on the third time they didn't refill our free bottles of water. Things like these happen, but what I appreciated was their response to these things. Room service food was very good, too. The Renaissance has a DTS service, which is basically a one-button service on the phone. The operator will take care of anything you need. No need to call separately the front desk, housekeeping, room service, etc. And their wifi (and wired) internet was very fast and reliable. Don't forget to check out their pool on the top floor.

It is located inside a small lane so the hotel is peacefully quiet despite being right smack in the middle of the shopping district. The hotel operates a Tuk Tuk that ferry guest to the nearest BTS station from the hotel and the driver (an elderly gentleman) was extremely friendly and thoughtful. He always drop us at the BTS access that has the escalator! The rooms are big, bright, cheerful and clean. The bed is big and comfortable. You can ask for foam pillows if you find the feather pillows a bit too flat for your comfort. Shower water pressure is great (We got a room on the 10th Floor). The hotel also has a good pool and a good gym. The all-important wifi is free of charge in this hotel, both in the common areas and in the room. There is a large 7-11 shop behind the hotel. Ask the security guard at the hotel gate and he will direct you to walk through a car park to get there. The staff speaks good English and are helpful and friendly. We had a great stay. Will definitely stay there again next time.

We were able to take the Express train from the airport to Phaya Thai and in less than 10 minutes with one transfer make it to the hotel without problems. Exit 1 is the best exit to get out from the station to go to the hotel. Check-in was a breeze (even with us arriving close to midnight) and the staff were extremely pleasant. We enjoyed the rooms and were very comfortable. The shower and bath were beautiful and great for cooling off during the day or arriving back to the hotel in the evening. The pool, the breakfast and the location was perfect for us. And as first-time travelers in Bangkok, the 7-11 close-by was a lifesaver! Will definitely consider coming again.

This was a nice surprise as I knew the location but had never stayed here. For the price we paid we were very happy. Very friendly reception staff with perfect English, fantastic location for the Sky train and Siam square: shopping and restaurants and the room was big, clean and comfortable.
