Nothing but good things to say about this hotel. It is situated in a quiet subdivision in front of SM Davao Annex in Ecoland. I booked this hotel at a reasonable price of Php1,300 per night, excluding taxes. The check in was quick, the front desk staff was friendly and there was assistance with luggage when I arrived. I requested for a room on the ground floor via my Agoda booking and they were able to accommodate my request. The room was big and had all the usual amenities (wifi, hot shower, toiletries, AC, cable TV) and add-ons (kitchen, big refrigerator). I even saw that there were available pans and other kitchen needs if you need those. The only con was the shower pressure, which was kind of weak. Overall, I would recommend this hotel if you’re ever in Davao City.

I have stayed here before but did not realise the two things that spoilt it for me. The Internet access was difficult even when they connected to the phone via cable. The other thing was no tea and coffee facilities in the room. I like that and they did not provide it. Otherwise a good place to stay. Directly opposite from Robinson Mall which has cinemas with films reaching the Philippines before they are shown in the UK. Food good although not in deal price that I received where as it was in all the other hotels and although a small boutique hotel (good description) for it, they were ready and prepared when I had to book out at 4am. Looked after my cases when I had to spend a night in Mati and return for a second night to their hotel. All in all a very nice hotel.

The most friendly and attentive staff I have had at a hotel in Philippines, Miss Kim and the team are always there to make sure you enjoy your stay. The pool is large, clean and very inviting. Room was clean with very comfortable bed and good wifi. Shopping Mall just 2 minutes walk & plenty of restaurants nearby. Popular with foreigners and locals. Much better than I expected for the price. I will definitely be back. Recommend the pool view rooms.

I was so disappointed that I was waiting for you to reply to my emails, messages thru Agoda ang google. I was the one doing the booking for my girlfriend in the Philippines and I always choose your place as she is all ready comfortable with the staff and claimed she had the best place to stay in Davao. She is there in your place every month for more than 6 mos as I remember.. I made a mistake with the date of the booking, supposed to be Dec 2-7 but I booked for Dec 3-8. I immediately emailed you and sent it thru Agoda and your email ad. I emailed couole of times. But no reply. It was hard for me to contact you coz I live here in NZ. I was so disppointed in my part coz I was hoping that you were prompt to reply. But no. No reply at all. I booked my girlfriend again in your place for Dec 1-2 and I asked her if that would be possible, that's when the time that we had an answer, and it's a no. I hope in the future, you have enough staff to monitor your emails thru Agoda and your company email. It would be better if you reply those who emailed you. It's unbelievable that you would say, 'for faster reply pls email the company' which I did, but no reply at all. This would help your company boost up when you know how to reply to their emails, esp the foreigners who are still abroad and wanted to have a faster communication with you guys. I was just so frustrated.

After staying at the Jade Dragon Suites, the Qanaq felt like the 4 Seasons. Here's my experience: The hotel was accommodating to my early check in (7:30am. I needed a place to shower, as my last hotel had sprung a leak in the middle of the night and my bathroom as unusable by morning.) It's brand new, like 3 months old. My room was immaculate. I think I paid $3 USD more per night for a room twice the size of my last hotel, that had a double bed, a window, and breakfast included. None of these were in my last hotel. The Qanaq was basically heaven. 100 feet down the street there is a 'town square' with restaurants, cafes, salons, and a convenience store. The ONLY issue I had, was that the wifi isn't in all the rooms, so I had to go to the lobby/cafe and get it there. The owners were SUPER accommodating. The husband, Jun, sat and talked with me for an hour about the city and the hotel and was very friendly and helpful (and very apologetic about the wifi misunderstanding). The wife, Emily, was super sweet and also talked with me for quite some time. I was looking for a place to stay long term, and Emily let me know that if I didn't find a place I could stay at the hotel (cheaper than any of the apartments I was looking at). I mentioned that if I stayed, I would need a desk to do some computer work at. When I returned to the hotel a few hours later there was a desk set up in my room. This family run hotel was a great experience. Emily runs a nurse certification program nearby and shows her level of professionalism in the upkeep of the rooms. Seriously clean, bright and comfortable. I only wish I had booked here to begin with!

This was a great rental for the price. My in-laws stayed there and really enjoyed their time they had. We had previous hotel booking elsewhere, but still visited the in-laws here, which was convenient being right next door to the large SM Mall with its food courts, and entertainment available. They enjoyed the pool and playground with the grandkids. The area is safe with good security and the unit was modern and clean. A great option for the longer stays when in Davao.

I was visiting Davao to see my girlfriend for two weeks. The hotel was perfectly located beside my girlfriends school which was very convenient for us. The staff was great and the hotel was very clean. I would also like to say the security guards there were spectacular. They were very professional as well as polite! I will definitely stay here again. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.
