Marton Suites is a lovely, small hotel located in an upscale, gated subdivision for all intents and purposes within sight of one of Davao City's major malls. The hotel is quiet at all times, most importantly at night. The rooms are a very good size and fully equipped with fridge, propane stove, pots, pans, rice cooker, kettle, plates, cups, and cutlery. Fantastic shower, comfortable bed, and excellent pillows. The decor is modern and appealing to the eye. Common areas are breezy and pleasant to walk through. Cable TV and super-fast wi-fi. My wife and I were particularly impressed with the wi-fi. We were able to watch Netflix whenever we wanted without buffering. Service from the staff was excellent on all counts. Recommended.

found this hotel comfortable and clean, the staff were always friendly and attentive. the day before arriving i emailed if we could have an early check in - the reply was almostimediate saying if there was a room available it would be possible. on arrival with our 20 month old son we checked in at about 8:00am, which made things so much better than if we had to wait until normal check in time. little things like this is in my opinion what travellers remember and appreciate. the wifi in the room was of an acceptable speed and the bed was very comfortable. the one issue was the power to the room was operated by the door access card being put in a slot, which meant when we weren't in the room the air con didn't run so we always came back to a hot room. we stayed here 5 days before christmas to do some shopping and the hotel is litterally across the road from the very large sm davao city mall - so perfect for shopping and getting a starbucks. unfortunately didn't get to see any other sights of davao - next time maybe.

If you looking to stay in a expensive hotel and be charged big prices and never go out, then this place is not for you. I live in Philippines 26 years, in Davao 6 years, these apartments are located in convenient place with access to most of davao simple a 5 min drive, you have NCC a 5 min walk, MTS for entertainment and reasonably priced, a night out listening to bands, few beer and meal around 1,000 pesos only, then there ecoland SM mall..or golf course or hiking all there.. They dont provide food or drink facilities I think because there is too much locally, convenience stores, good restuarants..fast food its all a 5 minute walk. Staff are super friendly, work hard, the pool is super clean, the rooms, new ones are really modern, all equipped..i had a relaxing easy time..no hassle ...going back in a few weeks to avoid the Christmas shopping and chillout in the pool!!! Highly recommend and price for weekend 2,300 pesos!..taxi 200 pesos from the airport..

I was so disappointed that I was waiting for you to reply to my emails, messages thru Agoda ang google. I was the one doing the booking for my girlfriend in the Philippines and I always choose your place as she is all ready comfortable with the staff and claimed she had the best place to stay in Davao. She is there in your place every month for more than 6 mos as I remember.. I made a mistake with the date of the booking, supposed to be Dec 2-7 but I booked for Dec 3-8. I immediately emailed you and sent it thru Agoda and your email ad. I emailed couole of times. But no reply. It was hard for me to contact you coz I live here in NZ. I was so disppointed in my part coz I was hoping that you were prompt to reply. But no. No reply at all. I booked my girlfriend again in your place for Dec 1-2 and I asked her if that would be possible, that's when the time that we had an answer, and it's a no. I hope in the future, you have enough staff to monitor your emails thru Agoda and your company email. It would be better if you reply those who emailed you. It's unbelievable that you would say, 'for faster reply pls email the company' which I did, but no reply at all. This would help your company boost up when you know how to reply to their emails, esp the foreigners who are still abroad and wanted to have a faster communication with you guys. I was just so frustrated.

After staying at the Jade Dragon Suites, the Qanaq felt like the 4 Seasons. Here's my experience: The hotel was accommodating to my early check in (7:30am. I needed a place to shower, as my last hotel had sprung a leak in the middle of the night and my bathroom as unusable by morning.) It's brand new, like 3 months old. My room was immaculate. I think I paid $3 USD more per night for a room twice the size of my last hotel, that had a double bed, a window, and breakfast included. None of these were in my last hotel. The Qanaq was basically heaven. 100 feet down the street there is a 'town square' with restaurants, cafes, salons, and a convenience store. The ONLY issue I had, was that the wifi isn't in all the rooms, so I had to go to the lobby/cafe and get it there. The owners were SUPER accommodating. The husband, Jun, sat and talked with me for an hour about the city and the hotel and was very friendly and helpful (and very apologetic about the wifi misunderstanding). The wife, Emily, was super sweet and also talked with me for quite some time. I was looking for a place to stay long term, and Emily let me know that if I didn't find a place I could stay at the hotel (cheaper than any of the apartments I was looking at). I mentioned that if I stayed, I would need a desk to do some computer work at. When I returned to the hotel a few hours later there was a desk set up in my room. This family run hotel was a great experience. Emily runs a nurse certification program nearby and shows her level of professionalism in the upkeep of the rooms. Seriously clean, bright and comfortable. I only wish I had booked here to begin with!

This was a great rental for the price. My in-laws stayed there and really enjoyed their time they had. We had previous hotel booking elsewhere, but still visited the in-laws here, which was convenient being right next door to the large SM Mall with its food courts, and entertainment available. They enjoyed the pool and playground with the grandkids. The area is safe with good security and the unit was modern and clean. A great option for the longer stays when in Davao.

I was visiting Davao to see my girlfriend for two weeks. The hotel was perfectly located beside my girlfriends school which was very convenient for us. The staff was great and the hotel was very clean. I would also like to say the security guards there were spectacular. They were very professional as well as polite! I will definitely stay here again. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.

I have given this hotel a perfect score, not because they are perfect but because they always seem to make me and my family feel welcomed when we stay there. I have stayed with Courtview many times over the past 4 years and I will continue to stay with them every time I visit Davao. Marco Polo is great for those of you who are middle aged and have a 6 figure income, but the rest of us working class people need a comfortable, affordable, and safe place to stay while we pasyal san pedro for kwekx2 og jog in peoples park, or palit sa gulay in Bankerohan.
