Find hotels in Phliu Waterfall National Park

We just wanted somewhere to have as a base while visiting the National Parks in this area. As walkers, this was a little out of the way but close enough to restaurants and shopping. We took a longer walk to get to "gem street" area. The rooms and breakfast at the hotel were very nice and a good value for what we paid. The staff are very attentive and extremely pleasant!

Building is fairly new. Location is 15 minutes drive out of town for Chantaburi. Pros: I paid just under 1000B for the night. For what you get is a fair price. Parking is plenty and the parking security is a very good guy Cons: Walls are very thin so you can hear all noises from adjacent rooms. No elevator for a three story building. Location depending on if you have your own transportation.

Only about 1km from the bus terminal, the hotel is well-situated and comfortable. The corridors to the rooms are open and pleasantly shaded by climbing plants. There are sparrows flitting about every morning and they can be a little noisy when in large numbers, but they are fun to watch and relatively non-intrusive. As the corridors are open, it's best to close the room doors quickly to prevent mosquitoes from coming in. Though there weren't many, we encountered one or two every now and then. Not unusual for a hotel so close to a river, of course. The room itself is spacious and comfortable, with a heavy table for writing and a comfortable chair to lean back in. There is a restaurant just beside the hotel that serves authentic local dishes and a noodle shop just a short 2-minute walk down the road that has excellent noodles. 7-Eleven is a bit more of a walk, past the post office, but it is along a road covered in street food stalls. Overall, highly recommended!

If you need to "get out of the city"; this is a very appropriate place. Quiet and very relaxing. But you really need to come with your own car as there is no nearby places to eat that are walking distance (nearest is a very nice old Thai style restaurant that is about 800 m walk). But the staff were really very kind and helpful (super excellent) as they were the the ones who drove us nightly near the Cathedral, which during the time of our stay, was having a food fair in celebration of Christmas. We suggested to the hotel that they should at least have an in-house tuktuk; like the hotels in Chiang Mai and other tourist-popular provinces. Chantaburi does not have much foreign tourists, ONE reason why we LIKE it!

We elected to stay there for the night on our way to Koh Chang. Centrally located, easy to access and park this seemed like the right call. While this place has seen better days and could use a revamp of fresh TLC, you can't complain as the rates are decents. Best to book on Agoda or Booking as they have the best rates. Also do note the hotel won't match Agoda's or Booking rates which is pretty dumb is you ask me. Hotel rates were on average 10 $ more. The room itself is your standard older 4 ish stars. It has some decent beds, the bathroom is your typical American kind. Shower is very powerful, i loved it. Amenities are basic but sufficient. I would have wished for a stocked up minibar rather than an empty mini fridge. Tv is ok, but all the English channels are in Thai. All they need to do is select the correct audio, but that might be too much to ask. Hotel is clean. View is great. I am posting a few pictures toguether with this report. Although Chanthamburi is not a "tourist" destination this hotel caters for non English speaking guests very well, staff are friendly and very helpful with any requests you may have. Breakfast selection is great. Fruits, eggs any way you like them, plenty of hot as well as cold food, juice and coffee(all served with a smile) This is quite a large old hotel and guessing from the noise cumming from above sometimes, under a little renovation.(day time only) The room and hallways show there age a little, with worn carpet and paint peeling off in our room but appeared to be clean and tidy. For the price you get a lot of hotel for your money The swimming pool is a massive 12m x 25m with a smaller kids pool off to the side, the main pool depth starts at a quite deep 1.8 meters to 3.0 meters at the deep end. Hotel is located close to a large walking park with plenty of shadey trees,man made lake(you can feed the fish)keep fit on the equipment provided around the park. Also close is a bus station taxi ranks and mini van(taxis)that can take you most places in Thailand or across the boarder to Cambodia. Tesco Lotus is one block away which houses a large selection of places to eat western and Thai(MK's/KFC/MR Pizza/Bakerys/lots more)good sized department store as well as a small market out the back. We enjoyed our stay here, however if you want "new" with lots of glass and chrome this is not the place for you.

This hotel is located in the old town zone of the province. The room is clean, good decoration, air-condition work well. There are two buildings, one is close to the river, another one is at the opposite side of the road. If you want to get the best experience, try to choose the building which is close to the river and the room which is not located close to the street. There is the balcony in front of all rooms that you can sit outside to see the river. Anyway, there is the restaurant at the first floor and live music until 11 pm, so it's not quiet if you want to sleep fast. The street in front of the hotel is only one lane, so it's the one-way road. There is the parking lot behind the hotel building. I got the room in the riverfront building but on the street side, it was noisy early due to local residences. The location is good for sightseeing, you can walk to visit many places like the cathedral, temple, museum. The owner was really kind. We had dinner at the hotel's restaurant which was good in all aspects i.e. price, portion, taste. There were free bicycles to use but I didn't try. The breakfast was made by order, there were two menus we could choose (pork boiled rice and american breakfast). Not so many things, but enough to feel full in the morning.

Good location if you wish to cut your trip from Bangkok to Koh Chang in two parts so that you can take one of the earliest ferry boats and enjoy an extra full day on that beatiful island. The staff is very friendly and Chantaburi is a nice town with a big Lotus, Big-C and Robinson department store. It also has a big market, open until late at night, it has the delphin show, beautiful waterfalls nearby and a bar area where you have plenty of choice in bars where they serve tasty food, live music or karaoke. The chance that I would book this resort again is very small, but the only reason for that is the hard bed that feels like a rock. Afterall, it's the good night sleep you need when you're travelling through..

I was looking for a nice hotel closed to downtown just to stay 1 night before heading to Khao Kitchakut National Park early in the morning, Non Chan has just served my purpose, there is staff stand by 24h for check-in/check-out. Though you arrived very late at night, you still can check in and the room is new and clean, reasonable price. What else I could ask for more.

This hotel is perfectly situated in middle of the old city along the river. Great shops and restaurants are everywhere, only a few minutes walking distance away. You can even walk to Robinsons in 20 minutes, and there's an awesome market right next door. We felt safe in the area even walking late at night. The town shuts down early compared to other places we've been. The room was nice enough and fairly clean. The bed was rather hard and not great for sleeping. The shower drain in the bathroom was sloooow and you'd be standing in a puddle in a short time. Nothing majorly wrong. The staff was absent about half the time, which was fine since we didn't really need anything and we didn't ask anyone to clean the room. Fresh towels and sheets are available on the second floor if you want to grab them yourself. Entry at all hours wasn't a problem. There's a nice deck in the back, where we'd enjoy a beer late at night. Bring bug spray.

It scared me at first sight, but it was great. It's on a quiet little street in the middle of nowhere, but only 2 or 3 km from the bus station and the older part of the city. Totally nothing fancy, no fridge in the room, but everything works and it's clean and friendly. The desk guy allowed a few bicycle tourists to park their bicycles in the lobby so he could keep an eye on them overnight. That's really nice, but it also gives you an idea of how fancy the lobby is. Definitely not for hi-so princesses.

This is an older hotel, but it is kept quite clean. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful, as are the restaurant staff. Good location, easy parking, good breakfast buffet included with my room. My room had twin beds; due to my height I prefer a double or queen size bed, but there weren't any available on the holiday weekend I stayed there. I would go back to this hotel.

My Brit friend and I are cycle touring (bicycle, not motorbike) through SE Asia and spent 2 nights at the Chasawang Hotel. Initially, we'd only booked 1 night but as I'd come down with a bug, we spent a 2nd night so I could recover. The office staff was excellent, arranging for a taxi for us the morning of 2nd day to go see the gem market. Room was big and comfortable. WiFi not excellent, could be improved as I was unable to access it the morning we left despite trying 4 different passwords that had been given to us. There is a small restaurant in the back area of the hotel behind the parking area that has a limited menu (strictly Thai). Wonderful cooks. We loved the place and highly recommend it.

Nice accommodation with the history. friendly and good service staff. Location is good not far from the restaurant or cafe but has ample parking. It has a little bit noisy because the floor was made from wood so squeaky and had a noise when the guess run or walking hard. Can choose breakfast from the menu's provide but cannot change drink in a set. But good in overall
