AMAZING !!! From check in to check out 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ service. 1 minute walk to Ben Thanh Market. Centrally located to walk, scooter or cab all parts Ho Chi Minh. Good sized rooms, roof top pool with an incredible view of the city. Extensive/delicious Buffet breakfast, High Tea and mini bar are all included in your room rate. I could go on and on about the hotel amenities but the real gem in this place is the customer service. Everyone is so nice and helpful. I had a mishap with my phone and Mr. Max along with the rest of the Alagon staff helped me remedy the situation. Had I not had their help and patience I would have never been able to figure it all out. You can bet I will tell all I know who travel to Ho Chi Minh that Alagon Zen Hotel is where they should stay. This hotel was newly remodeled and is very clean. If you are visiting Ho Chi Minh, stay at this hotel. The location is a bit far from Ben Thanh market and is not walking distance but you can take the taxi there which is only 10 mins away. However, there are many good restaurants within couple blocks of the hotel. There is also a convenient store right across the street that opens 24 hours. The staffs are very polite and helpful. Whenever I need service to the room, they are very prompt to bring them to your room. Excellent service. The facilities are very clean and very well kept. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. It also has the safe box to lock up your personal things. I stayed at this place for 3 nights and I had a great experience. One of the best place I have been. They offer breakfast in the morning as well but i didn't eat there since there are so many around the hotel. But I am sure it is good too. Three thumbs up!!

My partner and I stayed in Ho Chi Minh city for a night before returning home. This hotel is located in District 3/5 which I found was a great convenience as there was a shopping centre located next door and abundant restaurants nearby. I have been to Ho Chi Minh on several occasions and stayed at other 5 star hotels, however I was most impressed with Nikko for their professional, friendly staff and the room in which stayed was just lovely. On check in, we were upgraded to Club executive room due to high occupancy so that was a nice surprise. The bed was comfortable (softer than most hotel beds you'll find in Vietnam. We'd spent 8 nights in Nha Trang at the Sheraton before arriving in Ho Chi Minh and for the sake of comparison, the Nikko is comparable to that. Lovely hotel - I will stay here the next time I am in Ho Chi Minh.

Where do I start?. Room was amazing, panoramic view of the harbour ad city on 35th floor. room was luxurious, every amenity even a tv in the washroom while relaxing in the tub. Free minibar, free breakfast in a stunning restaurant. Staff was impeccable, super friendly. Location is in Times Square ho chi Minh, can't get any better than that. Kids were free and my daughter wanted to move in, lol. By far an awesome experience and when I go back to ho chi Minh one day I will stay there 100%.

I've been to Hanoi , Da Nang and the last stop id Ho Chi Minh. I can say that my stay at The Myst Dong Khoi is the best one!!! Firstly, the location is great . And in the hotel you can have Free Mini bar and you can get Free afternoon tea!!!!! And the afternoon tea was GREAT! I like the way the staff take care of their guests. They are very friendly and very helpful. The room is comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was so goodddddd. I would come back and stay here again!

From Vancouver Canada (Qualicum Beach B.C.) checked in on the 24th of Dec 2012 and stayed till the 289th of Dec, I first met "Thuy: (door girl) she was amazing, and a great addition to this wonderful hotel, friendly, nice smile just a great person, I really enjoyed her, the fromt desk staff were perfect, the fitness centre and the shower and jucuzzi and sauna wre top rate, the hotel is in the absolute best area of Ho Chi Minh, we were in room 2212 and the view was great, I could go on for ever about this hotel ...for me, in every single area it was perfect............I will with out question return Thank you Caravelle for a great time Jeff Stewart Canada we were min Vietnam for 6 weeks and stayed at 7 hotels in that time period, this was the best (all hotels we stayed at wewre top line....Sunrise resort and spa in Hoi An, Sunrise Hotel in Nha Trang, Blue Lime in Phnom Penh, Angkpr Hotel and spa in Seim Reap Cambodia, the Conifer in Hanoi, the Novotel also in Nha Trang...we stayed 5-6 days in each hotel also in Luang Prabang we stayed at the Lotus Villa all nice hotel but the Caravelle was excellent

i really enjoyed staying at the rex. the location is truly perfect - my room overlooked the ho chi minh statue, 5 minutes walk from the refinery, 5 minutes from ben thanh market and saigon square, 10 minutes to apocalypse now, 10 minutes to notre dame, 10 minutes to the river, 20 minutes to bui vien/pham ngu lao... the room was super clean, modern, but with a vietnamese character. noise wasn't an issue. breakfast was great and service was efficient, friendly and helpful. free, fast, open wifi everywhere around the hotel (which is huge). the rooftop bar is a nice place to relax in the evening and the live bands were good, although obviously aimed their music at a certain age group. the swimming pool was well maintained but nothing special, just a standard rooftop pool. the gym was good, many (affluent) locals actually have membership there although i never saw more than 3 people in at one time. i've stayed at park hyatt before a couple of times but enjoyed my stay at rex much more - it's brilliant, and great value. i highly recommend it. by the way i stayed at a premium room which i think means new wing.

Overall the stay was very satisfactory with the hotel offering a clean, comfortable and enjoyable stay whilst in Ho Chi Minh City. The location was good with easy access to the rest of the city. I was there on business and the free WiFi made my stay that much more enjoyable being able to keep on top of e-mails when travelling. The accommodation was bright and airy, well appointed and everything in good working order. The bed was super comfortable offering for a good nights sleep before attending to meetings the next day. Although, some loud music could be heard from the room facing the front of the hotel, whilst my colleague having a room facing the side/rear never hear the music. Only one criticism; there was no iron or ironing board in the room, which when called for on 3 separate occasions, wasn't available until early the next morning. The hotel could do with placing an iron and ironing board in the rooms. The restaurant could do with upgrading the selection/variety of food as, whilst being adequate, could be better, but ample and tasty nonetheless. Overall a very enjoyable stay at the hotel and certainly a hotel I will return to.

WOW, what a lucky find in Ho Chi Minh! We were so pleased to have discovered this boutique hotel while “surfing” websites for lodging options for our recent visit to Ho Chi Minh. It is truly an oasis of serenity and peace in the very busy city of Ho Chi Minh. The hotel is located in District 1, close to many areas of interest. The hotel is an architect’s dream that has become a reality! The hotel building is very well designed...there is a great restaurant and pool on the top of the building, 11th floor, with wonderful views of the skyline of HCM. The pool is a good size, allowing the opportunity to swim and/or plunge…such a wonderful option considering the heat and humidity levels. We throughly enjoyed the complimentary breakfasts that included both Vietnamese and European options. We also had a nice dinner at the restaurant...such a relief to stay in this oasis and not have to search for a restaurant. Our room had a very comfortable king bed with plenty of space to relax, read or watch cable stations. The bathroom was part of the room with a walkin shower and double sinks. Service was exceptional … the staff was caring, warm and professional. Everyone greeted you with a genuine smile and then an offer of help. On transportation, we recommend that you consider using "Grab" that allow you to experience driving on a scooter in traffic. The cost was very reasonable and quicker than using a car due to the traffic. My wife and I are retired, travel a lot and wish this high level of accommodations and service would be available for all of our trips. Definitely would give this hotel a 10+ star rating!!!

We stayed at the Lotte Legend Hotel from 6 September 2017 to 11 September 2017 in an executive river view room. We found the staff at the hotel very attentive and professional. They were always welcoming and would meet you with a friendly smile. The facilities and food at the executive lounge was always excellent. We have stayed at other executive (Club) rooms in many parts of the world and have always found them to be good. However, In this instance the big difference was the staff that served you. The staff and the supervisors at the executive lounge were willing to assist you with any request that you had. I like tuna sandwiches and hot fresh chili with my food and once the staff got to know about my liking, any time I visited the lounge, they would make sure that our table had an extra plate of tuna sandwiches and freshly cut red chili. Everyone who worked at the lounge seemed to love what they did, with two waiters who stood out. We had Jack who was always smiling, very attentive, polite, and willing to assist you with any request you had. Then there was Kyle, who was a consummate professional who was doing what he liked. After a day of sightseeing in the hot and humid climate that Ho Chi Ming City offers, it is refreshing to go to the executive lounge and have these wonderful personalities greet you and serve you with a smile. We will cherish the 6 nights we stayed at the hotel with fond memories of the wonderful characters that make your holiday more memorable than others. We traveled to Nha Trang and returned to the Lotte Legend Hotel on 15 September around 11 am and were presently surprised to find that they has already made a room available for us , although the checking time is normally 2 pm. We had booked a city view room for out last night in Ho Chi Minh City, but had been upgraded to a river view room. Worth for my budget with this premium 4-star hotel at the central of Ho Chi Minh City, prime location to Ben Thanh market, Pham Ngu Lao also many attractive place in District 1 of Ho Chi Minh City. Cleanliness is one of my impressing touch of this hotel. Room is comfortable and functional, Hot shower is quite slow. Breakfast is consumable and varies. Nice relaxing pool at the roof top with superb sky view of Saigon especially for sunset ;) Overall is impress and feel good to stay at this hotel,, will recommend :)

I always stay at this hotel when I come to Ho Chi Minh City. All staff are friendly and do not always lose expectations. Their laughter is not a pretense but a true welcome. LAN is memorized during reception staff. For breakfast, NHAT HA 3 HOTEL is by far the best. Satisfied with everything and thanks to the professionalism of our staff, I will go to this hotel again. And I recommend NHAT HA 3 HOTEL to my friends.

Visiting a city one learns many things. One being that most of the locals prefer to still call their home city of Ho Chi Minh City by its old name Sai Gon. Yes. That's another thing, "Saigon" is actually two words in Vietnamese! Another is (and confirmed by our stay there) that the Majestic Hotel is one of the city's great hotels. It is an institution and has been since 1925 and, although its original external outside appearance has altered slightly over the decades (we liked the original), it's great position and reputation for quality and service have not altered. Situated on the river it is wonderfully positioned that those lucky enough to stay here can amble to all the best shops and restaurants. Those that are not, are within a short taxi ride away. Taxis are always available out the front. We opted for a river view room which was well appointed and double-glazed to keep the traffic noise out. Air conditioner worked extremely well and the room was appointed with the facilities you would expect from a hotel of this calibre. Staff was very friendly and helpful although on one occasion we did have difficulty communicating with one member of the staff. Overall, we had no problem though. Breakfasts were great. Lots to chose from and were enjoyed from the fifth floor terrace with a fabulous view overlooking the river - great way to start the day. Food did not disappoint. Even at the end of one exhausting day when we just opted for room service. Not a cheap hotel and by no means the most expensive, should you chose to stay at the Majestic you will not be disappointed.

Me and my husband brought along our 8-month-old infant for a trip to Ho Chi Minh for the first time, and we're very glad to have chosen this hotel for our 5-night stay! It's conveniently near to Ben Thanh market, with less than 3 mins walk there. And for us, it was pretty close to where the halal restaurants were at as well, which made the location even the more favourable. The room was clean, with a wide window although the room we stayed in didn't quite have a view (we had a view of a water tank of an adjacent building). However, on the downside, room was relatively small. The main door also opens with the bed in view. This compromises privacy, as guests/staff walking in the corridor could easily have a quick glance of the entire room should your door happen to be open. Also, the room concept tends to focus much on natural lightings. Although the room may be well-lit during the day with the curtains drawn, we faced difficulty having the room well-lit at night, somehow. Staff were friendly, and helpful. It's definitely a hotel that's value for money! In general, we would come back to this hotel if we were to visit Ho Chi Minh again :)

The rate you pay for is worth it . The location is excellent. No matter which direction you go when you walk out the hotel . You can see food and restaurants everywhere. And it is very cheap . The hotel is very clean . The room is a bit small but bear in mind the rate you pay for . You get the room with reasonable size nice and clean Superb . Housekeeping is very hardworking on cleaning my room every morning. Make the room nice tidy and clean . Superb. . All the staff are nice polite and friendly. Miss trang working at the reception is a wonderful nice girl . The girl working at the restaurant in the morning breakfast is a very hard working girl . I always watching peiple doing their job . Very polite too .. Breakfast is fantastic. Of course the chef cannot satisfy all nationalities. Therefore I don't agree with a lot of comments on the choice of breakfast . For me excellent. I been in Bangkok 4 weeks staying at 4 different hotels . Always something not satisfy when I was staying at a 4 5 star hotels . But The Luxe Hotel. Nothing to complain . Excellent at all aspects qnd value for money. I would definitely recommend all my friends in England to visit ho chi Minh city and stay at the Luxe Hotel . I would also definitely coming here again next year .Just one thing can be improve is the hot water in the shower. If it can be hotter in the morning. It would be fantastic.

For me even only 1 night stay but it's totally pleasant stay and impress. Location is the best, you could reach to almost every interesting place of District 1 with 5-10 minutes or walking distance. Many international and local restaurants surrounded, convenient store is just opposite also supermarket, main sightseeing places, business hub of Ho Chi Minh City especially Bitexco Financial Tower, etc. The hotel appearance is colonial style since 1930 but it has renovated thus it's look elegance. Room is functional and look nice especially bathroom (really love it). Cleanliness is one of my pleasant point of this hotel, almost everywhere in this hotel is clean and neat. Staff are very nice, friendly and informative. Good breakfast. Nice swimming pool in the backyard, quite relax. VINASUN Taxi stand is just the front of this hotel. So, don't worry to travel to anywhere in Ho Chi Minh City with hassle-free. It's a 5-Star hotel in HCMC that i would like to recommend :)

Very relaxing with complimentary tea every afternoon, and delicious foods every morning for unlimited breakfast everyday. This Hotel is narrow but very elegant looks so i rated it also as 3 star. It is very near Ben Thanh Market and Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon Square and Cruise Ship Port). It is also good to ride on a wonderful cyclo . Its amazing that we ride on that cyclo, very relaxing sitting on that cyclo (feeling like a baby). It is highly recommended to all tourists and travelers to book their stay in Ho Chi Minh at BLUE DIAMOND HOTEL Ben Thanh .

Duc Voung hotel with its central location in District 1 is ideal for artwork/painting enthusiast as it has a number of neighboring small galleries. There are also a good number of choices of dining outlets, bars, art and crafts shops just few steps away from the hotel. Even for first timer vacationer in that part of Ho Chi Minh city's District 1, small malls like the Zen Plaza along Nguyen Trai, a local market, groceries are so conveniently accessible. Best of all, the hotel staff are so attentive and friendly. Its budget rate is best enjoyed by booking through agoda. Will love to come back and I highly recommend the hotel to other vacationers in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam.

Was excited to have a memorable experience of Ho Chi Minh and booked the most expensive room: The Panoramic. When I arrived they gave me a twin room instead. I went back to the reception and explained that wasn't what I'd booked and paid for and they told me they were full and would give me another room and could give me the suite the following day., even though before they'd told me they were full when I'd asked for a second night. That first night they gave me the double room with a wall in front of the window. The second night they gave me a nice big room with park views, but it wasn't the suite advertised on Agoda with photos of a separate living area. I called the reception and was told that it was their panorama room. The room was nice and I was too tired to argue so I stayed. Breakfast is extensive, most staff are friendly and the rooftop views are amazing.

It was my pleasant stayed at Silverland Central Hotel & Spa for our 3D2N holiday in HCMC. The front desk staff are so friendly and helpful especially Ms. Xuan Ngunh. Very near to Ben Thanh market and at a walkable distance from the main attractions like Saigon Centre Mall (Takashimaya), Saigon Square, City Hall, Mr. Ho Chi Minh Statue, Saigon Norte-Dame Basilica and Saigon Central Post Office, . The back entrance of the hotel have a lot of halal restaurants too. We will definitely come back to you.

This is one of the two 4-star hotels that have the best location in Ho Chi Minh City. You are a walking distance from all major touristic hot spots, shopping areas, restaurants, bars and the river. Do not get put off by the initial old-fashioned look of the interior. This is Vietnam; and the fixtures are not worn out, just a bit old-fashioned. They maintain it perfectly and everything is clean. What the hotel lacks in looks is compensated by very professional, helpful, and friendly staff. There is a nice swimming pool on the top floor, which is not Olympic size, but is very cleverly designed and has a great view of the city. Spotless clean. All in all -- very good value for money.

You would never expect such an amazing hotel in the middle of busy Ho Chi Minh. It is a great experience. The SPA that was included in our room package was really great especially after a tiring day walking and exploring around the city. The staffs were all friendly and most of them speak minimal English, which was really nice. On our day back, it suddenly started pouring and we didn't have any umbrella with us. The hotel staff were nice enough to shelter us to our taxi with their umbrella. The breakfast spread was quite little, but they had additional "menu" which you can order from, such as egg benedict and such. The beef pho was really awesome! However, the second time we had it, it wasn't as great as the day before. Hope the consistency of their food will be better. A great experience, will definitely come back to this hotel again the next time I visit Ho Chi Minh! :)

We had a group of 8 people that stayed in the apartment and it is extremely cheap and great value for money staying together. It is located in district 1 which is centrally located to all great food and attractions. Taxi rides will range from 20,000VND to 100,00VND. Hotel is about 20 minutes from the airport costing around 150,00VND (tell the driver to turn on the meter). Small selection at the buffet breakfast but its still good considering it is free of charge with the room, reception also has a tour guide (buffalo tours) which was very helpful to book flights and tours. Staff are very helpful, friendly and are not bothered when we returned to our room in the early hours of the morning. One of the best stays i have had in ho chi minh considering i have been there 5 times.

I've never felt so at ease and truly valued as a guest before... I had arrived in Ho Chi Minh city and at the hotel without my baggage and the staff were really helpful to go that extra mile in calling the bus company (the left my baggage behind in their Phnom Penh office) on my behalf and keeping updated on my baggage.. everyone was warm and helpful in the whole plight of my being in HCMC with no luggage, no extra clothes and nothing much other than my passport, atm cards and clothes on my back... I'm always staying in HCMC as a stopover or end point of travels in Indochina and have stayed in many hotels but this one deserves a 10 rating... The front desk staff was nice enough to extend my check out time till I got my luggage (which came at 12.30pm two days later which incidentally was the day I had my late flight out) and allowed me the extra time to check and repack my luggage in the room without chasing me out of the room even despite the hotel being fully booked up and had to adhere strictly to the check out time to accomodate their incoming guests... This shows the staff truly have compassion and heart for their guests... The room was spotless, clean, tidy, water pressure was excellent especially after the long day of running around getting my basic essentials amidst the wild goose chase for my luggage... Was really a welcome, warm, homely feel Inspite of the circumstances... Location was perfect, close to the market, convenience stores, restaurants and pretty much everything else. I'm definitely gonna stay there again and fully enjoy the facilities next time round. Considering I was preoccupied and stressed about my missing luggage. Am truly greatful to both ladies on shift at the front desk for going that extra mile (which was completely unexpected) to help enquire about my luggage status and patch me to the relevant people via telephone and helping speak to the relevant folks in Vietnamese to assist in both sides understanding. The best Value, the best Service, the best Location and the best Choice! There are many criterias one can use to select an outstanding hotel in Saigon/ Ho Chi Minh City. I was traveling with my wife and older brother, so I needed to check a lot of boxes on the list of desires for our 7 night stay. The Grand Silverland Hotel & Spa delivered beyond our expectations. Arranging pick-up from the airport via the hotel was simple and inexpensive. Just an email request to the hotel with date, time and flight number was all it took. This will be important after a long flight or arriving at some odd time. To know there is someone waiting for you that will take you to the hotel. Excellent transportation service to and from the hotel. There is also a tour service available in the hotel lobby if you wish to book sight-seeing tours with pick-up outside the hotel. The two hotel rooms that our small group used were elegant and spa like in design. Plenty of space to spread out and relax. Speaking of relaxation, the roof top pool and roof top bar offer a lovely retreat. A spectacular view of the surrounding area will be appreciated with a wide angle lens on your camera. I'm not a horticulturalist, but someone on the hotel staff spends a great deal of time and energy making the hotel plants and flowers look beautiful. The aroma of the flowers is what you will remember each time you look back at your photos of them. The FREE breakfast at Grand Silverland Hotel & Spa should not be confused with a continental breakfast that you would get at some other hotel. It is a Grand breakfast with all the trimmings. From the omelet station to the fresh fruits, fresh juices, fresh pastries, fresh coffee and tea, all the way to a long list of other international breakfast foods. First, the disadvantage of this hotel's biggest one is the 'location'. It is a very good location based on the "accessibility" with the Ho Chi Minh attractions, but it is noisy at night because it is located on De Tham street, which is crowded with clubs and nightlife. They may be sensitive to noise, older, or may not fit well with family units. It is a good hotel to choose for young people who like to play with fun. I think it is a 5 star hotel that can be met at a price of $ 40-50. The kindness of all the staff was close to perfection, so that we could forget some of the disadvantages. The room was small, but the structure was made efficient, and I was able to feel the consideration and effort using good furniture and facilities. Especially breakfast was much better than other hotel's buffet, a la carte and basic dishes, all the ingredients and juice were always fresh. I have written a review based on experience using dozens of hotels across Vietnam for business trips.

Everyone on the staff, from doormen to the reception area to the chef to the managers, were all so kind and accommodating. The rooms were as spacious as can be for Ho Chi Minh City, although the large beds took up a lot of space. And the air conditioning was perfect. The pool looked nice but I didn't get a chance to go for a swim. The restaurant and free breakfast was incredible every morning. And high view of the city through the large surrounding windows perfectly accompanied my morning meals. The hotel was so great that I booked there again as I passed through again a few days later. I will say that you should avoid getting a room on the floor right under the top floor, where the restaurant is. It gets a bit noisy in the morning from all the commotion of people heading up there for breakfast, not to mention all the service happening up there. But one quick call and they happily moved me to a much quieter, lower floor. Location felt safe and perfect. A short walk to everywhere.
