This is value for money! Nice rooms great service and a good location close to Muscet Jamek Train station from were you can go everywehre in Kuala Lumpur. If you arrive at KLIA I or II take te bus to Puduraya (Chinatown) its only 10RM and the fastes way because direkt it's a 5 min walk from there to the hotel. KLIA Express is 45RM and you have to change at Kl Sentral so more money more time!

our room had a nice view overlooking singapore, including KL tower, and the Petronas towers in the distance. The closest attraction is Chinatown, which i wouldnt recommend for the shopping but has good food! The hotel is also right next door to Puduraya bus terminal for long distance travel. There are two train stations nearby- Raykat (closest) and Pasar Seni. The staff were very helpful and bargained a good taxi fare for us.

very strategic near mesjid jamek (old mosque in kl), dataran medeka, central market (pasar seni)...all is walking distance from this hotel. perfect access to continue to other tourist object in malaysia (near puduraya bus terminal/rapid kl), for other object in kl like bukit bintang,chow kit/pwtc, and klcc also easy to access from this hotel. the only cons of this hotel is the food,but we can find delicious food around kl easily.

This hotel enjoys a very strategic location close to Masjid Jamek Station, 24 hour Fast Food Outlets, Convenient Stores and only two stop from KL Sentral. If you wanna go to Terminal Berpadu Selatan, just simply catch the train from Masjid Jamek Station as well. The room is clean and relatively small but suitable for me. The facilities in the room are more than enough for me. The staff is friendly and also very helpful. With current government regulations, dont be surprised if room's tax & fee for foreigners now is getting higher. Since the hotel is very close to train station, the sound of train can be heard from the room. It is pretty noisy. So if you feel uncomfortable with this kind of noise, perhaps this hotel is not so suitable for you. Finally I reckon Big M is one of the best value hotels in KL for short visit. I'll be back again to this hotel someday.

It's location is near to the subway MRT& LRT station. A few minutes walk to monorail station near China Town areas. It's near to Pasar Seni Bus Terminal. The fabrication of the internal hotel is old but there is a lift to every floors of the rooms. The air condition is centralised & it's really cold. There is a food catering service for breadfast & lunch inside the hotel. Room cleansing service is carried out every morning. Anyway it's worth to stay there.

I didn't know what to expect with the price we paid for this hotel. When I first walked in I was shocked, it looked like a 5 star hotel. The staff were very respectful and helpful, they even allowed us to check in early. The staff ordered us Ubers throughout our whole trip, which saved us a ton of money since most of the taxis in the city try to overcharge you. The cafe in the lobby is nice/convenient. The room is small, but very clean and comfortable beds. The location is great as well, it's connected to the Central Market, we were able to walk to the KL tower (long walk but we made it), and the KLCC Towers were a 5 RNG Uber. Highly recommend this place!

I checked into Arenaa Star on the 21st October and stayed here for 2 nights. It was a very pleasant stay. First and foremost after putting down my luggage, I ventured to the hotel's open air restaurant located on the Mezzanine floor. The seafood olio oglio I ordered was good. I also tried grilled chicken and lamb chop on subsequent days and they are all ridiculously cheap yet extremely tasty. Wow! The friendly and courteous staffs made the ambience all the more better. When it comes to the accomodation, I must say that it has the coziest bed and pillows for you to rest after a long walk tour around KL which you can easiy access via the LRT and is just a walking distance from Chinatown. Not to mention the big and modern bathroom, flat wide screen tv and various themes that represents each floor. For example the 1st Floor represents the Malaysian stars thus you will see the portraits of the local entertainers painted on the wall along the hallways to every hotel room. Not to mention the Hollywood, Bollywood, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, Korea etc. You might have a pleasant surprise to see that one of them happens to be your favourite! So in conclusion, Arenaa Stars lives up to its name and is very recommendable for the budget value and comfort.

I stayed here for 3 nights and it is the best place so far for me. This hotel is superb! good location, near from the train station, near the central market, china town and plus the terminal for GoKL bus (which i use for free). and the rooftop pool is so awesome at night! i cant find the other cheap hotels that have the facilities like this. it is more than what you pay. the staff will clean your room based on your request. the room itself is okay for 2 people. the shower is good, the water heater is working well. they give the soap and shampoo everyday. there is also restaurant down of the hotel and the food is very good and its cheap as well. Near by the hotel (along katsuri walk) there is popular curry restaurant, yusoof and zakhir, which I check on google its one of the best curry restaurant in kuala lumpur. And its cheap also! I will have another trip to kuala lumpur and will stay here again. ^^

Hotel is in good location in Chinatown, just in front of the bus terminal. Parking at the building at our own expenses. Nevertheless parking was cheap - only charge us RM10 for the full day. Take note carpark has operating hours (around 8am to maybe 10pm). Stayed in superior room. Bed and aircon is good since it is new. Need to bring own toiletries. Convenient places to eat since local market, Petaling Street and Central market all within walking distance. Staff were also helpful.

Initially I thought this hotel is just an old regular hotel with just so-so service. However it is a very nice hotel to stay as the price is cheap while the room has a bathtub, refrigerator as well as good wifi signal. The breakfast also good with several variety of food, very friendly staff, very strategic location. But the hallway to room is a bit smelly as this is old hotel. I give 4 stars and highly recommended.

Pros : so friendly staff (the two Philippines), you can ask them about any places you wanna go. They can give you suggestions. Enough space to put your luggage even the room is small. No need to buy drinking water,just fill up from the water dispenser at the lobby. They clean the room everyday if you want. Good water heater and the shower too. Cold aircon but enough. Near food street and hawker centre which is open from 6 am. There is a drink called "Air Mata Kucing" which you must try. Also near to train station, Central Market, Puduraya Bus Station. You can go around business area with GoKL Bus for free, just ask the hotel staff where you could reach the bus. The "kakilima" seller any goods above 2 or 3 pm until 10 pm, so no vehicle could get in to this area (Petaling Street). If you want to buy any goods at "kakilima", you need to bargain with the seller to get the cheap price. Cons : no elevator or escalator from the 1st floor, so need to carry our luggage. Due to house moving issues, I have stayed in Leo Leisure for 2 months. The reason why I didn't move out to another budget hotel will be obvious if you have spent a night here. Firstly, you will be helpfully welcomed by the supervisor Kenny Tam. Kenny will sort out any issue you have with a smile. His motto is that if he can do it, he will definitely do it for you. For example I wanted to stay in the same room but other guests have booked out all the rooms in the hotel so I had to upgrade and change rooms. But after a 5 minute chat with Kenny, I managed to get my original room back. The rooms are close to what the look in the pictures. My only complain is sometimes the washed towels are delivered late to the room like 5 pm. The place is very strategic. You'll be surrounded by heritage buildings, famous yummy food and Chinatown. I'm sure that the staff at Leo Leisure Hotel will make your stay an enjoyable one.

We had a great time when we stayed in Nan Yeang Hotel. We took family room for 5 person. There was a lift, water dispenser (cold and hot water), clean room, and even a balcony. The location is also perfect. You can find food stalls, souvenir shops and that famous Chinatown night market just outside of the hotel. Nan Yeang hotel is also near Puduraya bus station and central market.

It was great. - Hotel room has excellent air-conditioning. - Shower and toilet is clean - No complaints with the bed. - Commute is easy from here. There's a bus terminal just behind the hotel, the GoKL free bus that takes you to the tourist spots in KLCC and Bukit Bintang is also in this terminal. If you don't want to take the bus, the LRT stations are also near the hotel, i.e. Pasar Seni Station and Kuala Lumpur station. - Petaling Street where you buy cheap goods is walking distance from the hotel. Same as the Central Market.

This is a hotel not only the gimmick which just attracts tourists to have a stay and upload photos to Instagram. It is a very beautiful hotel near to the best community in the city: Chinatown. I really like how they apply the air well traditional architectural feature to all the private rooms especially the lowest floor with a garden, with natural lights and rain coming inside. If there is a chair it will be great for guests to sit in front of the garden to feel more relaxed. The hotel room is also appreciated as all the furnitures are in traditional style. I can enjoy the garden view on my bed as well, and before sleeping I liked turning off all the light in the room, leaving the only stage light on in the garden. The breakfast is a way to understand the Nanyang food culture. They also provide free and high quality drink every day in their coffee shop.

Location is spot on, it is right in front of Plaza Rakayat bus terminal and the train. It is also within walking distance from Masjid Jamek (10 minutes) which is a main metro station and the city walk (KL city gallery, Sultan Abdelsamad, Merdeka square) On the other side you walk to the street with many restaurants, street food hawkers and shopping malls like Lot 10, Fahrenheit and Pavilion. All within walking distance The room I stayed at had no window unfortunately, so I recommend you request that when you book. It was a small room with all the necessities covered, but the walls weren't thick as I could hear people talk or the TV sometimes. The room was cleaned daily. Breakfast is mainly Indian (rice, noodles, potatoes, bread, boiled eggs, jam and butter) and the staff were friendly and efficient. The wifi is pretty decent in the lobby and rooms although sometimes it disconnected ,so I had to reconnect again. Overall, I would recommend it.

The location is pretty much perfect. In the middle of the city, to the left of the front door is the Metro station to take you anywhere in the city that you want to go and to the right is Petaling Street. There are restaurants nearby and the Central Market. A+ for location. The single rooms are pretty small and no windows but they're cheap and clean and big enough for one. My biggest problem was that all the single beds are located on the ground floor which means you can hear EVERYTHING going on in the lobby and at the front desk at all hours of the day and night. I asked to be moved and because all the single beds are on that floor, I'd have to upgrade to a double bed to switch to a different floor. So if you're not a light sleeper and want a cheap and comfy private room. This is the hotel for you.

Smack in the heart of Chinatown, within walking distance of Pasar Seni MRT and Puduraya bus stations, this is a simple but clean place that offers good value for money. I arrived early at 7 am but was allowed to check in right away, and was given a room with a window. Aircon, hot shower and wifi all worked fine. There is a lift to reach the upper floors. The only drawback was noise from neighbouring rooms.
