"I usually don't like youth hostels, but I appreciated my week at Space Hotel. Staff is friendly and sort problems quickly, rooms are really quiet, the capsule concept is really nice, you can keep your intimacy for pretty cheap, you have USB ports, you can plug your laptop, you have light, a mirror, you even have a flat screen TV with headphone and a safe but you won't feel suffocating, you have enough space to sit and move in the capsule. You won't have to be waiting for the bathroom either. You can smoke a cigarette or bring your lunch to the terrasse, sit on the couch in the lobby and watch TV if you want. Location is pretty good too, in China Town, near to everything, mini markets, walking streets, restaurants. Thumbs up."

"I booked the standard double room. It didn't have windows, and it was a bit noisy due to being behind the reception, but it was clean, didn't smell, aircon seemed fine. It also had a huge TV with YouTube which was a nice extra, though it required patience as the internet was very slow at times. The shower and toilet were in one, and you end up with water everywhere after a shower, but it's pretty common for these kinds of hotels. After having stayed in a few other places in the area in a similar price range, I can say this one is a fair choice for if you get a cheap deal online."

"I checked into Arenaa Star on the 21st October and stayed here for 2 nights. It was a very pleasant stay. First and foremost after putting down my luggage, I ventured to the hotel's open air restaurant located on the Mezzanine floor. The seafood olio oglio I ordered was good. I also tried grilled chicken and lamb chop on subsequent days and they are all ridiculously cheap yet extremely tasty. Wow! The friendly and courteous staffs made the ambience all the more better. When it comes to the accomodation, I must say that it has the coziest bed and pillows for you to rest after a long walk tour around KL which you can easiy access via the LRT and is just a walking distance from Chinatown. Not to mention the big and modern bathroom, flat wide screen tv and various themes that represents each floor. For example the 1st Floor represents the Malaysian stars thus you will see the portraits of the local entertainers painted on the wall along the hallways to every hotel room. Not to mention the Hollywood, Bollywood, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, Korea etc. You might have a pleasant surprise to see that one of them happens to be your favourite! So in conclusion, Arenaa Stars lives up to its name and is very recommendable for the budget value and comfort. "

The staff are helpful and the place is ideally located (opposite Puduraya bus station, near to Chinatown, etc). Price is very good so I'm sure that'll rise in no time at all."
