Booked a night stay here to celebrate my best friend’s birthday. Have to really thank Pan Pac for going the extra mile to making it so memorable. 1stly - the view! Amazing view of the river day & night, room was so spacious, clean and comfy as well 2ndly - not only did they prepared a beautifully decorated cake for my best friend, they gave us a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine as well with a card! 3rdly - informed us that we can get half price parking at dfo at $24 instead of parking with the hotel at $49. It’s also conveniently located just beside DFO for shopping and eating. It’s a pity we only had 1 night booked, will definitely come back again!

My friend and I stayed 3 nights at the Hotel Windsor in April 2019. We booked a room with 2 beds & were surprised when we got 2 queen beds that were amazing- just the right firmness, 4 large wonderful pillows and incredible linens! The room was huge with high ceilings, a walk in closet & beautiful marble bathroom. Everything was very clean and comfy. So very happy. The location was great as well. Right in the CBD with the free tram & other great transportation options nearby. We were also within walking distance of wonderful restaurants, Queen Victoria Market and everything the city had to offer. We didn’t partake of the bar or restaurants, so I can’t comment about those. If I had one suggestion for the hotel, it would be that the lobby could use a little work. Everyone needs a littler makeover once in a while, but the flowers were spectacular!

Our stay was beyond what we expected — it was remarkable! The location of the hotel is perfect because it is in close proximity to transport (tram, train & bus stops), food choices (different cuisines and type of dining), services (grocery & banks/money changer) and landmarks (State Library & Queen Victoria Market) 😊 Everything was so convenient, and we were really surprised with the clean and spacious room for the value that we paid! I highly recommend this place, and to be honest, if you’re not booking this place when visiting/staying in Melbourne, you’re missing out! You’re getting the best deal here 💯

The best two days away from Canberra me and my wife have ever had. From the minute our cab door was opened the friendly staff were there to help us through the front door and carry our luggage.The check in was was quick and before we knew it we were in our luxurious room. A quick rest then breakfast in one of the many cafe's which are a short walk from the hotel, a couple of hours shopping ( so much to see), then back to the hotel for another rest. What about seeing a show that night, heard South Pacific was on, down to see the consierge, tickets booked, too easy.Dinner at another great restaurant then back to the hotel to get the Doorman to whistle down a cab to the show. So much to fit in one day the second day was just as good. Do yourself a favour and visit this great city and stay in this awesome hotel.

Strategically located near to airport (Skybus) and intercity bus terminal as well as Southern Cross Train Station. The free City circle trams stop just outside the hotel allowing us to take advantage of the service. My wife enjoyed shopping at the famed Queen Victoria Market, which is just 10 minutes walk away. The staff has been most helpful in giving us directions and tips for touring Melbourne city and surround.

This is a modern futuristic hotel and the room is of a very high standard and services excellent. The hotel connects very well to the neighbouring Crown Casino - which is much more than just a casino but with features like cinemas, shops, an international food court, decent indoors and outdoors cafes and restaurants, etc, alongside the South Bank of the Yarra River which is full of activities. It is also within walking distance of the National Gallery of Victoria - an excellent museum - and the Melbourne Aquarium. Tram stations are very close by and one can easily get into other parts of town.

comfortable and spacious aparthotel centrally located and within walking distance to chinatown and bourke street mall. within 10-15 minutes to shopping and eating outlets at lygon street for excellent italian food, queen victoria market and to crown entertainment centre. staff was helpful and smiling when approached for assistance. will certainly stay with citadines again on my next visit.

Stayed here for 3 nights. We arrived early and we were allowed to check-in. Building is a bit old (Victoria Hotel is about 125 years old anyway) but it's still very well maintained. The room is cleaned daily and they replace the towels and toiletries which we really appreciated. There's complimentary tea and coffee as well. Electric water heater is also provided for your brewing needs. Service was really good as well. One time we needed a knife to cut the cheese we bought from the Queen Victoria Market and it was around 11PM but they still responded pretty quickly. I think they brought it to our room in less than 15minutes after I called the reception. So that was an indication of their good customer service. They have indoor pool and gym as well which unfortunately I wasn't able to try out since we were out on tours the whole day. Overall, I would definitely recommend The Victoria Hotel.

We arrived there on a 3 night stay for our 21 year anniversary. The minute we rocked up the service was totally amazing. One staff in particular that we dealt with helped us out so much and went out of her way to make it that extra special. I had stated when i initially booked that it was our anniversary and she made sure to give us the best room available. We asked if we could have somewhere with a nice view but she gave us the 28th floor with amazing views. when we stepped out and came back to our room that same evening we found an absolutely amazing gesture of complimentary fruit, champagne and chocolate on our table. Jessica went out of her way to make it that much more memorable for us. What amazing staff they have. Was also very helpful with things to do in and around Melbourne. I highly highly recommend anyone to stay here. I know i won't be going anywhere else next time. Thank you Agoda for a fantastic deal

Overall stay in Ibis Melbourne was great! Easy access to Queen Victoria Market which could find a good local breakfast and souvenirs. Allow early check-in which really help us a lot as after a long hour flight we were super tired. Room and clean and comfortable, especially the bed and pillow, we both have good sleep everyday. However, the only thing that I was not so happy about was the house-keeping staff, there was 1 day I found my personal tiny pillow under the bed, I was not sure how can this be happened. Hence my advice is don't put your personal stuff on the bed if you are going to let them clean your room.

Jasper Hotel is conveniently located next to Queen Victoria Market. This meant that even though breakfast was not included, there were ample breakfast choices available at Queen Victoria Market. It is also conveniently situated right next to a tram stop and is within walking/tram distance to all tourist spots as well as Sky Bus pick-up/drop-off to and from Melbourne Airport. Staff was friendly and extremely attentive to all possible needs. The room that we stayed in was comfortable with large bed and large bathroom. Perfect and ideal hotel choice in Melbourne.

This hotel has linkway to Crown Metropol, Casino. Stayed in Deluxe King. Being 5 stars, luxury is the best way to describe. Hotel room is big & spacious. Clean upon 1st day of check in. Bathroom is beautiful & as the picture advertise. TV in front of the bathtub. Bed is big & comfy with nice ipod alarm clock. TV shows most channels. Comes with table top for me to do my work & a " lookout " glass balcony that has 'sofa" seat that overlooks the yarra river & the fireball show at night. Great view! Cons: 1st day morning, the room service lady kept knocking a few times to clean the room although we told her to wait. We were 'pressurize' to leave the room just for her to clean. We are furnished only 1 toothpaste set per day although we are checked in as 2pax. Bathroom amenities was not replenished regulary & neatly. Its as if the room service lady was in a rush. Bath robes are forgotten on the 2nd day & we needed to request for it. The ice tub container was also not cleared. These are small issues, but being a 5 star hotel, we have expected them to be more attentive to these small little things. Most of the times, these are immediate issues that will leave lasting impressions of the hotel. Carpark is not complimentary, & charges AUD $50 for valet parking for 1 day.

After reading mixed reviews, I wasn't really sure to book the hotel, but I took my chances. My room was really clean and tidy. Bed sheets were clean. Has Kitchenette which has microwave, utensils, coffee machine, coffee and tea provided with milk, cutlery, glasses, mini refrigerator with freezer, and any other amenities. Includes towels and bathroom amenities. Wall plugs are not international, so you would need international travel adapter for Australia. Has a mini Balcony to stand. Split ductless Air Conditioner worked great with remote provided. Very Close to queen Victoria market just 5-7 minutes walk for all your shopping needs (including wide variety of Souvenirs) and cheap and delicious food including fresh fruit and vegetables. It falls in the free Tram Zone. Just a quick 5 minute walk from the tram stop. Computer table along with ample of closet space including mulitiple shelfs, iron and ironing table. Restroom has shower with instant hot water. Hair Dryer also provided.

Love its location. Everywhere just seems within walking distance. Chinatown, QV and state library are within 5mins walk. Melbourne Central less than 10mins walk. Only 2 tram stops to Queen Victoria Market. Lots of restaurants and cafe around. There's a tram stop right in front of the hotel. Hotel is very clean with very helpful and friendly staff. Hotel breakfast quite standard for a 4 star hotel and it is the exact same dish everyday.

This hotel is in a fantastic location - just a few meters walk from Flinders St Train Station, with easy walking access to the city centre, Southbank, Crown Casino and Promenade. With just a slightly longer but still comfortable walk to the Queen Victoria Markets, the MCG and many other attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, with modern decor. We experienced a couple of minor issues - more noise than we would have liked could be heard from people in the hallway area through our closed door. It is not however a 'party' hotel so this did not disturb our sleep at all during our visit. The hair dryer in our room did not work, and the outdated CRT television looked out of place amongst the otherwise modern room. A modern, wide format flatscreen would be a nice addition.

By far, one of the best (boutique) hotels we've ever stayed! Besides its beautiful and modern decor, it has everything you can ask for - iron board, iron, washing machine, cooking utensils, plush bed and sofas, netflix and of course, the free wifi! (super plus point because it's a bit tricky to get free in-room wifi in Melbourne - even 5 stars hotel charge you for it!) The staffs are friendly and very accomodative and the location is just perfect, within walking distance to trams and convenient stores. Would definitely come back in future and recommending this to friends and families!

Great central hotel,walking distance to Queen Victoria markets for lots of great bargains! Rooms were very spacious, we were a party of three women(triple room) on a girlie shopping trip. We found the room large enough to enjoy some pre dinner drinks before a short walk down to southbank in the evening. Staff were hepful booking us a taxi to take us to the airport on our last day. Breakfast was included in the room price and was great,fresh pastries,cold meats, cereals, fruit ,yoghart and a fab coffee machine. All in all a great value hotel in a central location would book again on our return trip next year :)

This hotel is great if you are on a budget but not willing to book into a hostel. I got a twin room for me and my friend; unlike other "budget" hotels I've been to in Melbourne this one is spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the amenities are great. We even had free wifi during our whole stay. They've wisely placed the laundry/ drying/ and ironing on the ground floor. Being on Swanston St it makes it easy to just go around the shops and restaurants around Melbourne, since Swanston St pretty much is the junction for most of the main shopping/dinning areas. If you are especially keen on walking like me and my friend were, Queen Victoria Market,the Carlton Gardens and the Italian Precint are not too far away either. Otherwise the trams are only a short distance away. The other good thing about this place is it is close to the city, but away from the noisy bustle of drunk people getting out of the CBD bars and clubs - which is great if you want to go for a night stroll exploring the city without worrying about drunken people on the streets. Wednesday night are especially good for checking out the night market at the Queen Victoria Market.

Pleasant stay, very good location I didn't have to spend any penny for transportation :) You can take city circle tram very very near to hotel, it takes you to every important spots Besides, One of the best part of Fraser place is built in kitchen thus i could cook after buying some fresh groceries and great wine from queen Victoria market it makes me feel like that I am being local if I go to Melbourne again, I will definitely stay again in here

I believe iBis in Elizabeth Street is one of the best budget hotel in Melbourne CBD considering that it is accessible to public transportation and tourist destinations including Flinders Street Station, Southern Cross Station, Federation Square and Queen Victoria Market, among others. There were nearby convenience stores and restaurants as well. The hotel staff were very helpful and they see to it that they attend to all the needs and concerns of the guests. They clean the rooms and provide new towels everyday and I am very happy with that. Linens/bedsheets were changed every 3 days or upon request; which for me not that big deal as I only need a bed after a long day of exploring the city and attending the conference. My only concern is that there is no heater in my room but it is okay because there were thick blankets which can keep you warm at night. (It's winter in Melbourne during my stay). Also, it is advisable to bring your own toiletries and hygiene kits as the hotel only provide a hand soap. Over all, I had a great stay with IBis Budget Hotel. Thank you.

We chose the Sofitel for a single-night stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had stayed here before - once on our wedding night 28 years ago and once on our tenth anniversary, and we weren't disappointed this time. We'd booked a luxury king room, and we were very pleased on check-in to receive a complimentary upgrade to a prestige suite. The suite was spacious and well appointed and of course the view from level 36 across the Yarra and to the bay was spectacular. We couldn't fault the room at all - comfortable bed, Nespresso coffee machine, complimentary newspaper, controllable air con, lovely furnishings. Check in and check out were both quite quick, in spite of a large number of people all arriving at reception at once. We did find service at the Atrium bar a little slow, but we were there at a busy time. Location was great - there's a tram top almost outside and Parliament station just around the corner gives easy access to the rail system. But we walked to all of our destinations: the National Gallery of Victoria, MoVida for dinner, Brunetti on the city square for a coffee, Federation Square and Southbank. We didn't eat at the hotel, but had a delicious and value for money breakfast at the Great Space Cafe just downstairs in the Collins Place shopping centre.
