Hotels near Raffles Hotel Arcade

King size bed, quiet bedrooms, great breakfast, impressive lobby, helpful staff, location next door to Raffles, decent size pool with nice pool side bar. Great food and bar complex over the road. Only small niggles. Not sure about the hotel bar as it is tucked away in the premier section. Would be better if closer to MTR, although not too far away. The bedroom lighting system was odd in that you couldn't just have one reading light on; you had to have both. The TV remote control setup was unusually difficult to master.

This is the 3rd time we are in Singapore for a long weekend, and the Peninsula Excelsior Hotel must be in one of the best locations in Singapore. 10 min walk to Clarke's Quay, 10 min walk to Raffles City Shopping Centre & City Hall train stain, and 15-20 min walk to opera house, Merlion and Singapore Flyer. Not too far away from Raffles Hotel either. If you've come to Singapore for shopping, this is the place to stay! For the rate we paid we got a very nice modern room on a high floor, so had marvelous views over Merlion, Opera House, Singapore Flyer and the Business District and Clarke's Quay. There is heaps of shopping just 10 min walk away in Raffles City Shopping, and many nice restaurants both in Raffles City and Clarke's Quay. Breakfast is really good, there is a huge buffet with everything from cereal, muesli and yoghurt to a full English or American Breakfast. They even have a chef cooking fresh omelets. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Singapore.

Had a great stay in room 526 at Grand Park City Hall Hotel. Room was exactly like photos, the tech features were pretty cool and location was amazing! We were so happy we stayed in the location we did, so close to everything we did (Chinatown, Clarke Quay, Sentosa (taxi), Merlion Statue/Fountain park, National Art Gallery, Gardens by the Bay (taxi). There is also this really cool church sort of across the road.. its so pretty and a spectacular sight at night. Hotel was so close to all the really nice shopping malls, Funan shopping mall across the road, Raffles City shopping mall which connects to Marina Square, SunTec City and Millennial Walk from underground only 2 min walk away. In terms of the hotel, overall we had a really good experience. we didn't have to put down a security deposit, which was great for budgeting whilst on holiday. Concierge was friendly and always greeted us with a smile, although recommendations of local places (beauty) around the hotel wouldve been handy.

This hotel is superb, perfect location right across the road from the famous Raffles hotel. The service was superb with the front desk being very helpful in getting us a top room floor as we had requested. The room was very large and we had a balcony overlooking the ferris wheel and the new casino which will be fabulous when it is completed. We went for dinner in the Equinox Restaurant on the 70th floor which is absolutely undescribable, a definite must do on the list of things to do. A fantastic view of the city lights and the setting and staff were quite amazing. The food was sensational and service impecable. The only downside was that we were only in Singapore overnight and didn't have the opportunity to fully appreciate this beautiful hotel. I highly recommend this hotel and we will surely be going back again to stay here.

I spent 2 nights at Faimont hotel and that was great time for me at Singapore. We booked the premium room in the North tower. We were arranged a room right at the corner of the tower and the room view was amazing and very private. It has a balcony with the city view, looked down Raffles hotel which is very beautiful at night. The room is newly renovated with luxury decoration and very spacious. And the staff were very nice, attentive and taking care of customers. The hotel location is great. Right beside the hotel is the City hall MRT - interchange station and a shopping mall with a lot of famous brand names. So it is very convenient for travelling and shopping. We spent one evening at the bar at the lobby of the hotel, and the cocktails there are also great, the bar was nice and cozy. We are totally satisfied with the time being there, and will return in the next time to Singapore.

The Naumi hotel turned out to be the perfect place for me. I arrived at about 9am and the room was ready (I had forewarned them on my booking form). Very friendly and helpful staff throughout my stay, remembering my name and offering advice whenever needed. The room has separate living and sleeping areas, huge lcd tv, business area, tidy kitchen area, and a lovely bathroom with shower and separate bath. Really couldn't be faulted. Roof-top mirror pool was a godsend in the sticky heat, and has fab views over the CBD, Esplanade and Raffles hotel. Location was also excellent. Backing on to Raffles Hotel, near the City Hall MRT, 10 mins walk from Fort Canning Park and National Museum, 2 to Chjimes. All in all, highly recommended. The rather expensive breakfast (for what it was) is irrelevant as there are plenty of food places nearby (I used The Coffee Connoisseur for breakfast, 10 yards away and serving until 11am)

The experience of staying at the Raffles Hotel in Singapore was unforgettable. The ambience, quality of rooms & furnishings, and of course the service was excellent. The hotel staff were very helpful with the exception of a night staff on the front desk who seemed unwilling to resolve our question whether breakfast was included or not. However, the butler service made up for any shortcomings and was always prompt. The location of the hotel is very convenient for business as well as shopping & eating out and entertainment. Our stay was on the occassion of our wedding aniversary and we shall never forget the wonderful time we had at the Raffles Hotel in Singapore. The special rate with one night free was an opportunity we could not miss.
