Hotels near Registry of Marriages (ROM)

I stayed here several times and have to say it's good. Location is great, 2 mins waking to Clark Quay and 5 mins by taxi to Marina Bay Sand. The staff is nice and professional. I always stayed at Deluxe room but this time I booked the Superior. Frankly speaking there's a huge difference between them! While the Deluxe is nice and modern the Superior is really old and wear. Facilities like pool and gym are a bit dated but still ok.

The room is ok with comfortable bed and pillows . I like it have a moveable and adjustable table . The lighting is bright enough and on top of the bed had a fan . Bathroom is big and separated bath tube area . Breakfast is good with choices of main dish and smoothies. The hotel licated near to MRT and shopping mall . Resting room near reception provides apple every day.

This is a nice hotel, however the management should consider ways to improve on their internal communication skills. My friends came over and wanted to leave at 230am but found themselves stranded as all lifts were down then they went back to my room while waiting for the frontdesk to call back. Meanwhile I made a call to frontdesk to find out what's happening and the solution to leaving but was faced with the same reply that the lifts are all down but this time round, I asked about leaving via fire escapefirpe and the reply which I got was that it's locked. Long story short I called back an hour to mention that my friends have a flight to catch in that morning! That was then they finally provided a solution which is to get them down to level 38 via fire escape staircase where a staff will meet them to take the lift down. While I truly appreciate the hotels concern on the safety of their guests, but it will be great to improve on their knowledge on safety esp for a high rise 5-star hotel. Also, some flexibility with the check in will be rather rather than telling me that the room will be given to us at 3pm as "promised".

Booked the newly renovated king harbour view room. Everything was clean and good at first, view is amazing. But, the bedding was bad/ rough and the duvet is totally not breathable . Would have expected a much better quality bedding given the price of hotel. The bed area is not very cold despite the lowest temperature. My husband had trouble sleeping on the bed due to bad air circulation so had to sleep at the couch. Water tasted funny so had to ask for mineral water which is fine. Given the price, could have stayed at a better hotel.

My second staycay at Heritage collection on Seah this year! Hassle-free check in, with Rachel checking us in. Very smooth process and accomodating to our arrival time. Rachel has also been prompt in responding to my messages and also in updating us. They needed to do a pest control check during our stay but everything was fast and efficiently executed. We didn't have to be in the room too. Apartment wise, the room is on the smaller side but being a loft, it gives the illusion of being way bigger. Despite having no windows to see outside, it doesn't feel claustrophobic. Instead, it gives a very calm and cozy feeling. For the facilities in the room, it will be hard for me to choose a normal hotel room in future. There is a kitchette, microwave, toaster, small fridge/ freezer and kettle in the room. There is also a washing machine in the building, though I didn't use it. Only not so good thing is that the fridge tends to freeze the food and drinks that are too close to the open freezer compartment. Will be back again, for sure.

my wife and i stayed at raffles to celebrate her birthday on our way home from a european trip. it was our 4th stay since 1992 and i never cease to be impressed by the quality of the experience. there are certainly more opulent hotels in the world but surely there are none with better service and general ambience. the checkin, the butlers introduction to the rooms features and facilities, tea and coffee being delivered without charge at a touch of a call button, the attention to detail are features. raffles does a whole lot extremely well. the hotel had not been informed of my wife s birthday but i guess they observed the date is in her passport . i was called in the room to say that it was noted that we had a celebration coming up. we came back from the pool to find the room decorated with birthday greetings and balloons, and towels folded as frogs. our butler and an assistant turned up with a birthday cake and our celebrations were well under way. the rooms are huge with fresh fruit was provided daily. the room is serviced more than once each day and still has a genuine turn down service. at the pool cold bottled water , chilled towels and fruit skewers were delivered by the pool attendant /barman without request or charge and towels were arranged for guests on the sun beds. the pianist in the writers bar is just brilliant. leslie, the historian who has been at raffles for 40 years, met us at breakfast in the tiffin room, and arranged to take us on a tour of the hotel. we had a chance to recall things about singapore and the hotel from the 70's when we first visited the hotel to have a singapore sling in the old long bar. raffles does everything you expect from a 5 star hotel and much more. it is a reasonably expensive experience and perhaps some of the services provided are not essential but they are nevertheless enjoyable. i don't think i have ever stayed any where which is better value for money. you really get what you pay for.
