nice new renovated hotel in a great neighbour, lots of other hotels, seven eleven for midnight snacking or emergency rain poncho (i went on rainy season), some food places, near the SAM and National Museum. very nice and safe neighbour. And also most important.. very very near MRT station .. bencoolen station (Downtown Line), Bras Basah station (circle line) and Rochor station. you can get around easily and fast. hotel staffs are very polite (singapore known to unpolite or just very robotic service , no smile or whatsoever) and in this hotel they all very helpful and polite. room was enough .. not big not small, I'm booking double bed room with a pool view. clean and nice interiors. toiletries are standard but enough. hair dryer in the drawer, safe deposit box, hanger, flat TV big enough, room wifi and most important clean bed sheets and very soft bed and fluffy pillow. shower with hot and cold. one thing I just want to suggest.. please make a bidet for the toilet, i am asian :D

Location is the best, the Bencoolen MRT station is just right in front. You can go across the road to get to another MRT station Bras Basah. If walk further down a bit from hotel, you get the bus station in front of Redesvous hotel to everywhere you like. If you like some walking, not far away is the National art museum, national museum of Singapore. It takes only 2 stations to Chinatown, one station to Esplanade (access to Suntec city, Marinasquare). Do a bit of walking you get to Albert court hawker Centre, Bugis junction, and even nearby there are plenty bars, restaurants and shopping Centre at Bugis, Orchard is within 20 min walking. If feel want to cycling, there is OFO bicycle for rent too! Hotel wise, they do housekeeping everyday, very clean and spacious room. We have really good sleep there. Highly recommended!

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with wife and 5 y.o. daughter. When we mentioned about the V Hotel Bencoolen, the taxi driver didn't know where it's at. Check in process was quick. Check in time is after 11 am and checkout time is before 1 pm. We arrived there at 10 am, so we kept our luggage and went for a walk. There were 2 convenience stores nearby: Cheers (next to the hotel lobby) and 7 Eleven (less than 50 meters to the left of the hotel lobby). There was also a Kopi Tiam food center within less than 5 minutes walking through an alley. More local food can be found at Waterloo Street, which is located behind the hotel building. Even more food stalls can be found near the apartment complex across Sri Krishnan temple. For those who love shopping, Bugis+, Bugis Junction, and the famous Bugis Street are just within 10 minutes walking. There was an entrance to Bras Basah MRT station (Circle Line/Yellow Line) at Waterloo Street. Another MRT station alternative is the Bugis MRT station (East-West Line/Green Line) which is located underneath Bugis Junction. Lots of people complain about the room size in this hotel. But since I've traveled many times to Singapore, I found that this size is very common at any hotel at this price. What I care most in Singapore hotels are hotel facilities (such as free WiFi in room), distance to public transport, and abundance of food choices. V Hotel Bencoolen, in my perspective, wins them all.

The location is everything : 2 bus stops in front of the hotel and not far away from Rochor MRT and Bencoolen Mrt. From the hotel you practically can walk to most famous attractions in Singapore. The hotel is just behind "Little India ". Plus there is a 7/11 next to it open 24/7. The lobby smells great, clean, check in is at Anytime and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The Wifi is also very good, I could even connect to it from the restaurant across the street. The room is not very big but not small either, perfect for one person .The bed is very comfy and the sheets are very clean too. The AC is cool. There is an iron board and an iron in the closet. The bathroom has great water pressure in the shower. Housekeeping is good but they don't dust the tables, the fridge or the cups tray. And if you're not a morning person like me,you can hear the cleaning lady in the hall starting cleaning room since 8 am. But after all, I enjoyed my stay in Ibis and might go back again.

The hotel is looked like beehives from outside, very impressive and creative. This hotel is by far the best hotel we stayed in Singapore in our around 20 times travel there. This new modern yet classic hotel is located conveniently above Bugis MRT station with only 3 mins walking distance and bus stop is also nearby. You can find abundant of drinks in the fridge including beer and soda free of charge and is refilled every day. At the hotel check in floor, there is a minibar also provide coffee and tea and some snacks all day long. In this sense the hotel is quite generous to the guests. We have nothing negative towards Andaz except if the staff could be more detailed minded and attentive, although they are already serving very well. Overall speaking, this hotel worth coming back again and again and we will do so in our future trip to Singapore.

Staycation at the hotel, loft queen bed. Room are clean, comfortable, quiet but you can hear passerby talking while you are showering. Upon entering hotel room, left side will be shower area and toilet (they are rather small in size), right side will be basin, towels and some amenities. Walk further in will be a sofa bed, working desk with 'Handy" phone as well as TV with cable channels. Bottom left to TV, there is a mini fridge equipped with some drinks and snacks(chargeable). Walk up the stairs and there's the bed along with another TV with cable channels too. The art works on the wall are amazing too. Most of the power plugs are at the first level, and there's only one USB port on the second floor available to use. Unless you dont need the alarm clock, you can make use of the power plug. There's a huge variety of cable channels however they are not labeled or named upon selecting. Location is awesome, near to MRT station and shopping malls. There are a lot of F&B outlets, shopping and entertainments around. Overall, it is a super cozy and comfortable hotel room, highly recommended to stay.

Pleasant stay at this new hotel located just beside Bencoolen MRT station! Hotel just opened recently so everything inside works well! Room is comfy and spacious! Only comment was the 2 lifts having some issue. There was a period where the 2 lifts were hovering around 10-13th floor while we were at ground floor waiting and another guest got kind of angry as he was rushing back to his room but the lift won't come down. Besides that, everything looks fine!

This hotel is really clean with decent size rooms, great pool, very friendly staff. It is really good value for money for Singapore, as I got it in a pretty good deal with breakfast. Breakfast is mostly western-style buffet and it is ok, nothing amazing. Some things can run out if you eat late. The hotel is located about 4-5 minute walk from Nicolle MRT station, with last train at about midnight. Taxis are easy to use too. The hotel is not located in the most touristy area in Singapore, but it is also not as noisy. There are a few hotels nearby, an office biulding, hawkers markets just across the road, a few resturants, 7/11 a few minutes walk- so you will see a mix of locals and tourists on the street. Overall this is a good and safe area, and it is about 2 km from Marina Bay so it is all very close. This hotel is good if you’re looking for an affordable option for a decent 4 star hotel in a great location and willing to compromise for the luxury and famous hotel strip experince.

Hotel is located at a great location just along Victoria Street. Hotel is easy access to bus stops and taxies, and 2 minutes walk to the MRT station. Hotel Room is clean with comfortable beds. Restaurants and 24 hours food court is very nearby. Convenient shop 7-11 is just available next to the hotel. Hotel hospitality is good with friendly and helpful staffs. Great Recommendation as Bugis Street is just few hundreds metres away.

Don't get me wrong, this hotel is an excellent location for any means... from the near MRT station, to the shopping area... BUT, what I can critique in this hotel is that, they need to emphasize the cleanliness of the rooms. When I checked in, it looked clean... but some of the areas (way deep and narrow areas) are dusty. I saw some used papers wrappers beneath the bed, side of the refrigerator, and dust on top of the drawers. But aside from this, everything is great!

Great location, just near MRT station exit D (Rochor Road) around 2 minutes of walking. We booked the no window room, AC was working well, nice and clean place, comfortable beddings, hot/cold shower. You can refill your water at level 2, near 7/11, has a lot of restaurant around. I just connect to their wifi but it doesn’t matter cause I have my wifi with us. Good value for money. I would definitely book and stay here again.

The speed of the wifi was very slow. We can't even browse photos or even connect to Facebook. And it expires every 3 days. I hope the management will work unto it because Guest need a good connection for information about the city. And for Business purposes. There was no breakfast available but I think the Management is working on it. The room is small but very OK for couples since we only use it for sleeping purposes. The hotel is a 6-8minute walk to the nearest MRT station. There are 2 nearest MRT station, 1 in Rochor and the other in BUGIS. Very nice and friendly staff. Especially UNCLE, that was his name to us because he was very accommodating and very patient in giving instructions. Overall, the hotel gave us a comfortable stay in Singapore. I will recommend this to my friends. Except really the WIFI CONNECTION. So disappointed.

We've had an amazing first time experience at Singapore and our stay at Nuve Hotel greatly contributed to that. Location was perfect as it's very near Bugis MRT station. It's also near Haji Lane where you can take lotsa instagrammable pictures and eat and meet up with friends. Also near 7-11 in case you need to grab something quickly. Room may be a bit small for some specially if u have luggages, but we were able to manage. Bed is comfortable, room is clean and complete with hair dryer and free coffee. Bathroom is clean with hot shower, bidet, and toiletries. Staff are very friendly. They also have a handy phone you can use for free with unli data to book tickets, check attractions online, and call friends locally and even internationally. You can also borrow MRT cards so all you have to do is to load it. Overall, twas a great experience and will definitely book this again when we come back.

First time using Citadines group facilities, which satisfying enough. We are family with 3 children, booking 1 bedroom executive and stay for 4 night. 1. Room: Spacious and clean 2. Facilities: Gym, Laundry coin, water dispenser in each floor for free. It will be better if you have swimming pool 3. Location: 5 -6 minutes walk to Bencoolen MRT, Rochor MRT. 10 minutes walk to Bugis MRT, Little India MRT. Close to Bugis Junction, Bugis+, Sim-Lim Square. Lots of singaporean street just cross-by the hotel. 4. Good and helpful staff Note: Just wondering, my friend stay at the same time with us with same room type, charged with same price/night, (but booking it from other application). Fact that they don't get charge for sofa bed arrangement is quite shocking. We've been charge $50/night which confusing us since it's inside the room and should be free facility. Repeat Order: yes for sure, but we will try to order it from other application since they include sofa bed arrangement ^__^

fragrance hotel bugis is located nearby national library, bras basah complex ,bugis junction, and bugis street where u can find many restaurants and shopping centre. it's pretty close with bugis mrt station with approximately 3 minutes walk. it's a nice area with many good restaurants nearby the hotel, we just have to take a walk beside bras basah complex then we can find many food there. The service is excellent and they're very welcome to the customers. The room is very clean and nice and the room size it's fine ,not to small so that it's very comfortable. i would say i was enjoying my stay there.

This is the perfect place to stay in especially if you're travelling for the first time in Singapore. It is very near Bugis MRT station so we got to explore Singapore without getting lost. The staff are very friendly, courteous and accomodating. We arrived 5 hours before check in time yet they didnt hesistate to give us a room in like 5 minutes. Then our flight home was not until 8 in the evening so they let check out at 1pm instead of the usual 12nn and let us leave our luggages with them for safe keeping until the time we had to go to the airport. There are free towels and room service daily and the whole hotel smells really nice and fresh 24/7. The daily free breakfast was not so bad also. Downside - the room's small so it didnt have a cabinet to store our clothes in BUT bigger than most hotel rooms I saw online with the same price. Nevetheless, I'll rate this hotel with 5 stars because overall my husband and I enjoyed our stay and we wont hesitate to come back next time we visit Singapore.

The hotel is strategically located in the center of the city. One can easily reach the hotel by getting on the Green line MRT in Changi Airport, changing to yellow line at Paya Lebar interchange and getting off at Bras Basah MRT station (Queens street). The design of the hotel lobby appears simple, but the room is satisfactory. The room is fairly spacious, clean with good lightning. The beds are cosy. The room is well-furnished with cupboard, sofa, wide screen TV and there is plenty of space for me to keep my luggage. However, no complimentary mineral water is provided. The lunch/ dinner buffet at the hotel lobby is offered at reasonable price. However, choice of food is quite limited. There are plenty of restaurants, eating outlets within the walking distance. It is definitely convenient to go shopping as the Bras Basah MRT station is a minit walk away from the hotel.

Outstanding housekeeping service who took the time to observe our needs and made subtle additions to our room (i.e. Highly absorbent soft woolly floor mat, extra complimentary bottles of Polar mineral water, etc). Room were already impeccable to start with. As a tea drinker, I greatly appreciated the complimentary collection of high quality TWG teas provided in the room. This is one of very few 5 Star hotels in Singapore with direct access to 2 large shopping malls and an MRT Station on the highly popular East-West line. Also has one of the largest 24 hr in-house hotel gyms I have been to.

Well, when booked this hotel I actually didn't realize there are two Bencoolens there: the hotel and a "serviced apartments" which I luckily booked. We got a 2-bedroom (plus living room) apartment, with complete kitchen and two bathrooms. The apt is little bit shubbed and some ceiling paint would help, but all the rest is very good: spacious, clean, comfortable. The kind-of-buffet breakfast is very basic, but if you are not too spoiled you will not leave hungry. The real advantages are: very good location (the taxi stand in front of the hotel, MRT station is less than 1 min walking, main attractions are in 10-15 min waling distance), the pool (including jaccuzi and toddler's pool) and kids playground on a top of the 12th floor, nice patio on the 5th floor. My conclusion : very good accommodation for budget famiky travelers!

this hotel is strategically located between bugis and lavender mrt stations on victoria street. walking to these 2 station takes 5 to 10 minutes. or you can hop on to any bus on this road to get to the mrt stations; it's only 1 or 2 stops away. i was given a room catered for the disabled. the toilet is very spacious. not sure about other rooms though. overall it's clean but once in awhile the wardrobe needs to dust. breakfast is good! the coffee machine serves excellent coffee and the food is tasty. this is something not to be missed. overall staff performance is great! from front desk, housekeeping, to restaurant staff. i was always greeted with a smile and request to housekeeping is always prompt. the room comes with a safe deposit box, this is superb! there're also lots of electric sockets in the room which i find very convenient. the free internet service is excellent. it was up throughout my 5-days stay, whenever i needed it for my laptop and phone. yes, it was not only to be used by 1 device like some other cheap-skate hotels would do. this hotel is worth every cent. i'm very satisfied throughout my stay. i will definitely return and will also highly recommend this hotel to others. whether you're a business traveler, shopper etc. good job, alan (hotel manager) and team!

Pros: - Staffs are super friendly, they give useful informations. Give us free room upgrade. - 100m away from Rochor MRT Station. 100m away from little india. 400m away from Orchard - The most revolutionary thing is as a complimentary they lent us a 'Handy', a mobile phone that can make SMS, internet, call local and international without additional fee or top up credit. So u can have ur own smart phone in Singapore.. Cons: typical to other Singapore Hotel, hotel size is compact

This hotel is very cheap than other hotel, there have many restaurants nearby, a restaurant that I recommand name is "Steamboat" there is buffef chinese food but the taste very near thai style. This hotel near Bugis MRT station, Bugis street, shopping mall and not far to go to the interesting place. I booked standard room for 2 nights, I got fourth floor It make me happy very much because my room is very quiet and air condition is very cold. First day when I checkin their elevator is out of order but they trying to repair it as soon as they can, finally It's work in evening. I'll book here again when I have chance to go to Singapore.

There is a Queen bed, AC, Water heater plus shower, Water closed, TV Cable. 4. Lift 5. Near Kampong Glam & Masjid Sultan & Masjid Malabar 6. Near Halal Foodstall (Nasi Padang, etc.) 7. Near Bus shelter 9. Near Bugis MRT station about 700m & Lavender MRT station about 600m 10. Pleasant and helpfull Staff 11. There is a tree in front of hotel (our room), so we could hearing bird twitter in the morning, always. 12. Azan (Athan) is clearly heard from Masjid Sultan, so we never left behind jamaah shalat. CONS: 1. TV Cable just a few channel, about 6 or 7 channel, no children channel 2. No Water Closed sprayer ------------- We will stay again in this hotel if went to Singapore.

We booked three rooms (1x Bunk Bed and 2x Twin Single) and each room was very clean and tidy. Staff were excellent. Toilet was clean and housekeeping did a great job. Only complaint is that the door lock was occasionally hard to open. Had to call a staff to help open the door twice. However definitely recommend this place as it's close to three different MRT station and a great hawker food court down the road.

I stayed in a Deluxe room with a view across the Middle Rd. Was a indeed pleasant stay. Clean room and restroom with ample circulation space. Comfy bed and pillow. Pleasant view of the street and beyond. Just next to 7-11 convenient store. Great location. Within short walking distance (5 to 7 minutes) to Bugis Street Bazaar, McDonald's, Bugis Junction, Bugis+ and Bugis MRT station. There's coffee-making facilities in the room. Ironing facilities available upon request. Dresser table has big mirror. Good number of spots provided to hang clothing articles and accessories. Window bench provided practical spot to place and access luggage. Very attentive, friendly and helpful staff, made the stay even more pleasant. Value for money. Really worth every penny spent. Looking forward to be back soon! :-)

Great value for money! Private, cozy room with a big King-sized bed. The room is adequately equipped with hot running water and air conditioning (will have to bring your own toiletries though). Many cupboards and drawers to keep your belongings. Room service cleaned the room every day so we always come back to fresh sheets and towels. Can't believe the type of quality and convenience we go for this kind of price in Singapore. Best of all, the rooms are right across Little India mrt station exit A, and only two blocks away from Rochor mrt station. And its location at Little India is perfect because it is so convenient to change to the other mrt lines. It's a great place for travellers that want just the bare minimum for a comfortable place to stay.

We had a very lovely stay here! I swear to myself that if ever i find myself again in SG this will be my only hotel of choice. Its so accessible to everything! So near Raffles Hotel, Walking distance to suntec city, and three MRT stations, the nearest one for me is the City hall station. You'll never get hungry here coz you'll have so many choices with its neighbors! Super love the snacks on the lobby, the minibar, the personalized toiletries, breakfast and the people here. Just add more choices for the breakfast menu. Other than that, its perfect! Pls stay that way. Kudos!

In general, I had a good stay at this hotel. There were a few misses which I thought the hotel could address as little touches make a difference to the experience of a hotel guest. The location was great. It is surrounded by plenty of good cafes and restaurants, many of which open till late at night. There are also many interesting shops for one to duck into. A short walk away is the MRT station and a couple of busy malls. The staff are hospitable and friendly. Every request was met in good spirit. Free snacks and tidbits at the lobby is a great idea. The breakfast buffet is very small but the kitchen provides two hot selections every morning and you can ask for a second helping. I had a room with an outdoor Jacuzzi tub in the patio. The hotel provides a choice of four different bath salts which I felt was a thoughtful gesture. The tub is made for couples and we had a good soak in there. We also ended up showering in the private tub outdoors because the shower is separated from the toilet only partially by a glass screen. The first day I took a shower in there and it ended with the toilet area getting extremely wet. The room was very tiny and there was no wardrobe only some hangers and hooks on the wall. There isn't anything in the bathroom to hang up your wet towels after a shower. All in all, we had a delightful stay but our room (202) was too small for a couple. Would fit a solo traveler better.
