The Alana Hotel in Surabaya is the best hotel for me. It is located in a position that is half way between the Surabaya Juanda airport and the city center. The room is quite comfortable. It has big mirrors, very confortable bed with lots of pillows, a confortable couch with a vey well defined table. The window is very big with the possibility of enjoying the view of the city. The tv offers lots of channel, from Indonesian to English and more. Wifi in the room is very fast on my opinion if compared with others hotel. The breakfast downstairs is really tasty: it offers Indonesian cousine, western cousine as well. Great location and great value for money.

very fast check in and check out, the receptionist lady is very friendly, we got our room on 16th floor, the room was very clean, big and nice ! we are so happy with the size of the room and bath room, overall room size is 5 meters x 7 meters well equipped with kitchen set as stove and exhaust fan,would come back at this hotel next time we arrived in surabaya, you will feel like stay at 5 star hotel.!! thanks The Square Condotel and AGODA , youre the best!

It's a new hotel, so everything was really clean and neat. The Loby was beautiful and check in process was fast and efficient. All the staff were polite and helpfull. Air circulation in smoking room was not very good, the smoke and the smell stay too long, the exhaust fan power was not strong enough and the room had not enough ventilation. The breakfast buffet was taste ok, yet lacked of variation. I expected more since it's a 4 star hotel. I won't recommend the dinner buffet (paid for Rp 150.000,-). The taste was so average and the variation was not even half from the breakfast. The buffet looked full only because they spread the dessert all over the table. Summary : Plus : New Hotel, Cleanliness, Very Quiet, Clean Bathroom, Great Hot Shower, Comfort Bed and Pillows, Polite and Helpful Staff, Efficient Check in/out Minus : Location far from City, Food Variation, Air Circulation in Smoking Floor/Room, Connecting doors not sound proof. Still the best hotel in area.

It's good experience for my family to stay in D'Season. The food is delicious and various. The food price is acceptable. Especially, the bakery in the hotel is very nice. If I or my family arrive in Surabaya, I would put D'Season on my top list. However, it would be nicer if D'Season management promote more Indonesian food, especially seafood because Surabaya is identical with harbour city.

I have always stayed here when in Surabaya. Nothing really to complain about. Having being at hotels from NTB to Medan, I have to say that it is good, value for money and speaks well for its star class. The hotel has maintained its standard over the years, I think I have been staying here for the last 5 years or so. Check-in/out is easy, once you are in the system. And the 1 or 2 of the desk clerks who have been there for 2-3 years know me by name when I walk in, which does make a difference. And, I cannot complain about the breakfast. Eggs of choice available on request. Transmart food court next door is a plus. Indomaret is not too far away. Plenty of parking space. Wifi in some rooms that are further away from the lift could be a bit slow.

Hotel location is in front of Plaza Marina, one of shopping center in Surabaya. Also the hotel's location was not too far from some culinary places in South Surabaya. Hotel was clean, but not too big. Also the room was small, but clean enough. Parking lot was not huge. Breaksfast menus also not too much, but taste was good. This is a budget hotel, so I recommend for someone who have a business trip and looking for a hotel around south Surabaya, this can be one of your best choices.

Stayed here for one night in a twin room. For its price, its an excellent value for money. Staffs were friendly despite not all were proficient in english. (Had to whip out my broken bahasa to communicate). Rooms were clean and the bed was really comfortable but there were some ants on the table where the sugar/coffee/tea tray were. Not a big deal though personally. Location is good as it's only 10~15mins drive away from Surabaya Airport. Didn't had time to try out their facilities like their gaming lounge but the internet was fast. Lastly, it's been a while I've had such a nice morning breakfast buffet!

got there on 9am and can't get in, must wait 1pm for check in, go around the environment which have nothing to be seen, but can think of it as an adventure of itself, tasting surrounding delicacies in traditional warung, food are plenty, in the cheap way, but very delicious food, taste is comparable with 5 stars hotel food. back on 12pm cause nothing much to do except eat eat eat in many warung nearby, and the staff helpfull enough to let me in at that time, not have to wait for 1pm. got into the room and it was not big, it's huge, high value of money spent, bed is also soft and comfortable, airconditioner is cool (not cold). next day, got off to nearest mall and attractions, and only found 1 mall nearby, cito mall, which is just a decent mall to look around, go to other mall which quite far away using taxi cost about 7 - 10 usd, if using local transportation cost only , but taking local transport is only recomended to people who know the way and who's adventurous enough for not getting scared of lost. back to apartment and prepared to meet my messy stuff all over the room's floor, but the housekeeping in which i don't know exist, cleaning up my room to be very clean and comfortable again. use the internet with lan cable (wifi available but poor connection) and the cable internet is very fast, above indonesia's average speed. check out the next day, they let me wait in comfortable lounge when they did the check out . got my deposit money back, and off i went to other area in surabaya. next day in other area i forgot my sandals still left at this hotel, got back there, staff asked me to wait, and got my sandals back. overall impression : excellent service, poor location for having fun travel, but good location if u're a backpacker and want to experience local people hospitality. they are all indeed very friendly.

I was expecting it to be some sort of homestay-like inn, but it turned out to be more hotel-like and it was quite enjoyable. It has hot water shower and good soap dispenser. The housekeeping was done impeccably as well. There was a restaurant, too, but we didn't get to try the food because we were always eating out. If I wanted to stay in Surabaya again for with tight budget but in need of decent room with AC and hot shower, I'd always choose this place.

I been staying to this hotel several times. What are the best thing on this hotel is new hotel, cheap and friendly staff. The room is perfect specially executive for couple or business traveller like me. My client also just 15 minutes away and malls are nearby with very cheap taxi bill. I cannot say much how to describe this hotel but I will keep booking on this hotel every time I need to go Surabaya.

I went to surabaya with my friend. We stay here for 1 night, 1st thing is its budgeting comfotable hotel..!!! If you want to sightseeing around surabaya..you could walk 500meters accross the road to get bus (DAMRI) to Tanjung perak. The bus will pass : 1.surabaya zoo (its the leftside with surabaya icon : 'suro' (shark) and 'boyo' (crocodile)). 2.Taman bungkul (park) its very crowded at night. (the rightside) 3. Gramedia (the rightside) 4. Tunjungan plaza (its the centre of surabaya city) -on the leftside 5. Tanjung perak I went from siwalankerto(swk) to tunjungan plaza (TP) its cost idr 4000/person The best part is you can get to swk again by damri too.. The cheapest one.. Note: when i got the taxi from kenjeran to swk its cost idr 60.000

Stayed here two times one night, second night was because I was satisfied the first time. Staff is really helpful. WiFi is excellent! Really really fast. The breakfast is also a very good deal 40000 rupia for buffet (the classical Asian buffet; rice, toast bread, soup, chicken nuggets etc.) If I would travel again in this direction I would stay again here, without a doubt.
