Great Hotel! i have stayed at Alagon properties before. This is the best of them so far! Great price and great concept. All the floors have exotic spa like atmosphere. The roof top because of size limitation have a three jacquzzi concept where each jacuzzi has different water temperature. But the small size is made up for by the cozy, comfortable atmosphere and the jacuzzi bar tops it off of couse.! The only reason i have four stars to the location is it is not in the center of district 1 but it is still good because it is right next to the Binh Than market and only 10 minute walk to the cathedral, post office, and opera house. And four stars for facilities only because the small size of the hotel. Maybe alagon will use the Zen's concept for larger properites in future. Now that would be awesome!! Great place. You wont regret it!

We travel to Vietnam often, but this is our first stay at this hotel. I picked it for the location, but was very pleased with all that was offered. The check in staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. All staff spoke some english and others were fluent which made everything very easy. Breakfast was very tasty and offered both asian and western options. Rooms are not huge but roomy enough for two. I am disabled and was quickly accommodated with a room with walk in shower which was very modern and stunning. The rooftop pool was small but good for a cool down and some sunning We would definitely return.

This is one of the newer hotels in Saigon. While it is not right in the centre it is only 15 minutes walk away. The team there was very helpful and patient assisting us sort out last minute flight tickets. They even suggested and booked us Vietnam version of Uber to get to the airport. It ended up costing us 90,000 VND (4 USD) instead of the usual 130,000 VND. Facilities only got 4 stars because it was advertised with a swimming pool. It turned out to be a jacuzzi pool. But then again the friendliness and the eargerness to serve of the staff trump over the facilities!

We decided to treat ourselves and stay in a 5 star hotel. The hotel was a walk (25 minutes) from where the Mekong Express from Cambodia dropped us off but taxis were available from there too. We like walking so we walked a lot, but the hotel is a bit far from the major sights for some. Luckily the hotel provides a free shuttle service to (but without return) the major tourist sights like Benh Than market, reunification palace, the opera house, and Notre Dame cathedral. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. And they offered the best exchange rate for USD for $100 bills we found. The rooms were bliss. Like, actual bliss. The beds were big and comfy as were the pillows. The bathrooms were big, had amazing water pressure and came with more amenities than you could think of. The pools was clean and the fitness center adequate. Overall if you need a break from budget hotels and want to get 5 star treatment for 4 star prices hotel Nikko through Agoda should be an option on your travels. We paid 95 per night which only included the room and no other extras like breakfast.

After spending at Six sense NINA Van Bay,here is EXCELLENT,compared with SSNVB, 1000 times better !THIS is 5 STAR HOTEL! Definitely staying at here makes my whole trip in Vietnam happily,good ending! Seems staff never say NO,they are super well training,great service! Especially house keeping is outstanding! They are very thoughtful ,they know how to make the guests comfortable and happy! Of course cleanup the room perfectly! I had quick breakfast,both the range of foods and taste are great,but milk pancakes are not good. The best bang mi in Saigon (I tried two best know one but here is better than those two! As information,SSNVB ‘s one is awful!)

Great location and easily accessible to many eateries, convenience stores and also a short ride to the Saigon Central Post Office and Notre Dame. Room is spacious and clean, nicely designed with well-thought details and amenities. The entire hotel looks wayyyy better in real life than in pictures We chose the Saigon City View room, so were not affected by the construction noise at all. The outdoor tub was a bonus, only small drawback is that perhaps they could add another blind to cover up the entire window when necessary. The afternoon tea was a nice touch, with nice view of the Saigon river to boot. Managed to make good use of the pool too. It's not huge but it was good enough for some workout after all the feasting. Overall it was a really good stay and we'd love to stay at The Myst Dong Khoi again the next time we go back to HCMC.

We decided to spend the weekend in Ho Chi Minh, not knowing exactly where to stay, and we booked our hotel via Agoda based on the photos on the hotel website and the overall rating given by people who have stayed there. We were pleasantly surprised to know that the hotel is right in the center of District 1, and was close to the shopping area, the Opera House, and to the Notre Dame Cathedral, which for us, Catholics, was a plus on a weekend. On entering our room, we knew that we would enjoy our stay at the Caravelle. The room is pretty and had a good view of the city. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the dinner we had at Reflections, their fine dining restaurant, was superb and the ambience was perfect for our anniversary dinner. It was a memorable stay altogether.

Stayed here for 3 nights and booked the Rex suite. The hotel is very centralized which means that you can literally walk to most tourist sites in HCMC. It's located right across the Cityhall. The hotel itself is an attraction as I found out from some local tour brochures which included a visit to the Rex hotel. The famous rooftop bar is just located at the top of the hotel. The cho Ben thanh market is about 15 minutes walk away. The notre dame cathedral and the central post office is just a 10 minutes walk. The war remnants museum is about a 20-25 minutes walk and the HCMC museum is a 10 minutes walk.The hotel is located in the main shopping belt and the are tons of eateries, some famous ones just around the hotel. If you want to visit the Saigon river, it's just a 20 minutes walk, passing by the Bitexco financial tower. The location of the hotel is simply fantastic. Check in was quick and the front office staff was very friendly and attentive. They speak pretty good English too, and it's a bonus here in Vietnam as I found that not many people can speak English. They always smile at us when we were walking past the reception area. The lobby is huge and there is also a casino located within the hotel. The Rex suite was huge, with 1 queen and 2 double beds. There is a separate living room, dining room and another room with the 2 double beds. There is also a balcony overlooking the city hall. Basically, the rooms are cleaned everyday and one day, the room attendant even knocked on our doors to ask if we may need anything. Our beverages were refreshed everyday. The closeness to the main street also meant that it can get a bit noisy at times. Our suite is located on the old wing, which is not a problem at all. In fact, we had our breakfast every morning just one floor up. The swimming pool and the gym are also located on level 5. Breakfast offers a great selection and it's simply great. The Liberty Central Saigon Citypoint Hotel is in the perfect location - less than a 10 minute walk to Ben Tanh market, Notre Dame cathedral, and the War Remnants Museum. Rooms are a great size, bed is very comfortable and washroom has a rain shower in it. The staff are so friendly and helpful and do everything they can to make sure you have the best stay possible. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is new , modern clean and extremely friendly staff, located at at dead end in do strict 1 in an area fast becoming the Paris area of HCMC, the restaurants around the hotel are all fantastic, averages prices and close to Millenipium building, ( can walk there). I would highly recommend. Great view from the roof top. You can also walk to Notre dame and train station, the centre of HCMC. Breakfast was out of this world. We travelling all over Vietnam and I would rate this breakfast, ( included) was by far the best, with a roof top view.

The location is perfect, basically all the major sites are within walk distance - you name it, Dong Khoi street, Ferry, Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, Reunification place and Phan Nguyen Lao street and so on. But walking in the sun in march is not really comfortable. So the best plan is to take a walk either before 10am or after 5pm. Hotel staff is really friendly, and the room is very clean. You can also enjoy free wifi in room, which is absolutely a plus in Southeast countries. The swimming is nice, not really big. Breakfast is pretty decent with good variety - Western, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese and even Korean. I spent 6 nights in the hotel and was not fed up. If there is one thing i am not very satisfied with, it is the kid club.

EdenStar Saigon offers luxury accommodation at a great price through Agoda. Nothing to fault. Good size, clean rooms with comfortable beds, excellent breakfast, nice rooftop pool, excellent staff. It's in a great location in the heart of Saigon with good restaurants nearby (try the Indian Natraj just 30 metres down the road opposite). 5 mins to the market, & another 10 by foot to the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Post Office etc. Would highly recommend!

I really liked the location of this hotel as it is located in the middle of Japanese Town in District 1. It is close to everything such as Ben Tanh Market, Notre Dame Cathedral, Vincom Center, etc. However, you'll be surprised to see really small rooms and the loud construction noise next door which really bothered me during my 5 nights stay at the hotel. I will most likely look for another hotel next time.

I was on a short weekend trip with my mum and stayed at Hotel Majestic Saigon for two nights. Since I only had about 2.5 days to explore this city, I chose this hotel to be close to most of the attractions and local food/restaurants. And my mum loves architecture, and this hotel still has its French colonial charms in it. Room was clean and spacious facing the river. Breakfast was great with a good widespread of Vietnamese, Chinese and Western choices overlooking the Saigon river at the rooftop area. Location was everything. It was walking distance to the City Hall, high end shopping malls, Notre Dame cathedral, post office, Nguyen Hue blvd, Ben Thanh market and a lot of good local restaurants as well. Hotel service was great as well from the time we checked in to the time we left. And they were considerate and thoughtful to inform us about the road closure around the city on the eve of their Independence Day celebration. Thoroughly satisfied!

i had a good time in saigon and the liberty central hotel is one reason. room 1001 despite the small room, this business hotel is very comfortable and just nice for a lone traveller like me. in room facilities include cable tv, king-sized bed with 4 pillows, shower, slippers, hairdryer, towels and toiletry. minibar comes with tea-making equipment, as well as complimentary drinking water, coffee and tea. hotel amenities and service i really enjoyed the live music at the hotel bar on the ground floor. the included breakfast at central restaurant on level 2 was also good. the wait staff were also ever so polite and some would even have a friendly quick chat with diners whenever possible. the housekeeping department was also very efficient and responded to my call pronto. friendly service at the reception and concierge as well. however, the rooftop pool is really too small. around the hotel the liberty central is next-doorish to the ben thanh market as well as its night bazaar surrounding market building. it is also walkable distance to the reunification palace, ho-chi-minh museum, saigon notre-dame basilica; saigon central post office; american market; saigon opera house etc. conclusion i am very happy with the service. the hotel is also just 5 mins walk to a good spa (indochine spa). i will definitely stay again. room tip: do what i did and pay a bit more for a deluxe city view room. it's worth it.

My stay was great! Located near Ben Thanh Market and Pham Ngu Lao (Back packers area). We were able to walk all the way to district 1 to visit the Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral as well as to district 3's War Remnant Museum. The hotel had a simple but good enough range for breakfast. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean, overall a great new hotel! Would definitely go back there again.

This is a very good four star hotel, which situated at district 1, if you want to central post office, Notre Dame Cathedral and municipal theatre, just need to take a walk with 20 minutes that you can reach the above places. About the swimming pool, even not so big, but it has a romantic feels. 1.5m to 2.2m in height of the pool, so young kids maybe not suitable. For the breakfast, they have a lot of foods let you choose. You will feel worth o live there.

Very comfortable stay in HCM - we stayed in a Premier River View room, massive bed, nice views and great bathroom Great location being so close to Dong Kkoi street, and within a short walk to a number of District 1 attractions (namely Notre Dame cathedral, War remnant museum, Ben Thanh Markets etc). Take care when booking as the hotel charges “per person” which added an unexpected cost when we arrived and delayed our check in while our room was prepared 2 guests rather than one. Clean, comfortable and very modern hotel with very friendly and attentive staff, as well as a decent buffet breakfast.

This hotel is nice. Located at District 1 near Ben Thanh Market. All the tourist objects such as Independence Palace, War Remnants Museum, Saigon Notre-Dame Cathedral, Saigon Central Post Office, Ho Chi Minh City Hall, Saigon Opera House are all within walk. There are plenty restaurants near hotel, includes halal restaurant. You should try Vietnamese coffee at Trung Nguyen Coffee and Highlands Coffee. The famous Pho 2000 resto is just near Ben Thanh Market. You should try other Vietnam food such as banh mi, spring rolls, and many more. The staffs are so friendly. They remember us and our room number. They will keep your passport as a guarantee that you will give back the hotel key. For me, that's ok. Overall it's all good. Definitely will stay there if I go to Saigon again.

This hotel is located in a great location, where I walked around to visit most of the must see places of Saigon like Ben Than Market, War Museum, Reunification palace, Central post office, Notre Dame Cathedral and Water puppet show. There's also travel agency in the hotel, where we can book tours for Mekong delta, Cu chi tunnels etc. My room had fridge with coke and beers. The breakfast buffet was one of the best ever I stayed so far in other hotels. They also have desktops provided with internet for browsing. The hospitality of the staff is commendable.

Situated on a corner, the lobby was stunning from the outside as you are greeted by 3 huge crystal chandeliers. My heart was in awe that they have a big well lit Christmas tree. When I received my room, I was delighted cos it was more than I expected versus the amount I paid. A City view and a 48 inches smart TV, I almost wanted not to leave the room. (PS, you can request for the smart tv remote control and enjoy your Netflix or USB if you are tired with the cable channels - you're welcome). The breakfast was great and I was happy I included it. And most of all, it's just a walking distance to The Notre Dame Cathedral! Since I went on Christmas weekend and this is the most important part of my stay. Thank you Central Palace Hotel.

tan hai long hotel & spa is a pleasant & best place you can find in hcmc central. walking distance to all spots you intend to visit, notre dame cathedral, mariaman temple, saigon centre, diamond plaza, zen plaza, post ofc, independence palace, bin tay market & just 1 minute walk to benh tanh market - all explored in just 2 days & just by walking is just beside the hotel - the best food served, try their pho noodles(seafood,beef&chicken)& also their grilled pork. the vietnamese are the kindest, amazing people. we found them sincere & down to earth & contented in life..amazing as well are the police who are most helpful to cross tourists on the heavily motorcycled roads of hcmc. if you have time, catch 3d movies at diamond plaza for only, also try the tous bakery pastries - superbly delicious...in the hotel, commendable are manager luan hanh, superb in his job very alert & non-stop making sure that buffet breakfast is filled-up, clean. likewise with waitress quynh anh & chef vo quan...hotel staff even surprised us with tea while waiting for our transport shuttle going to airport. rooms are super clean, louis from sales dept, delivered all we have requested for our stay in the hotel...btw, pls eat as many fruits as you can...all are so cheap & power delicious, fresh & ripe.

My wife and I decided to have a night "away" and checked into a Palace Signature Suite of the Palace Hotel Saigon. The room was a corner unit split into a living room and a bedroom. It had a small corner balcony and view of Nguyen Hue street, the Bitexco tower and a sliver of the Saigon River. A highlight of the room was the bathroom, that stretched the length of the living room and bedroom and included a small jacuzzi - something not found in other suites in this price range - bubble soap and view onto Nguyen Hue street through tinted windows included. Staff was extremely friendly. For example, they brought us two wine glasses within 2 minutes of our request. They even thought so far ahead and included a bottle opener despite not asking for one. We slept through breakfast, so I can't comment on the quality of the food, but breakfast was included. However, given its great location, there are many options - expensive and local - to get some food or simply a coffee. The best part was the price. We were able to get the Suite for about USD 112 (non-refundable) on Agoda, which was on par with standard rooms at the other 4-star+ hotels in the area, and far below the rates for their suites.

Value for money. I requested a room with window, however not much difference without the window as the window was block by a taller building thus no special view can be seen to my disappointment. Anyway not the hotel fault. The roof top swimming pool is really nice and the rooftop bar is relaxing. Location is great! It's just 2 mins. away from BEN THANH MARKET and just a 17 mins away from Norte Dame Cathedral and other tourist spots.

The location of the hotel was excellent! It was close to the nearby attractions such as the Reunification Palace, the main postal office, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Ben Thanh market. It was all so close to many restaurants and bars within walking distance. the front desk and belstaff were more than helpful in helping us with arranging tours, arranging taxis, and of course helping us load and unload checking in and checking out of the hotel. The breakfast was good and you had a nice view of the city while eating your breakfast. I would definitely recommend staying here when in Saigon/ Ho Chi Minh City

Grand silverland hotel is a very good hotel. very near to ben than market and all other tourist attractions like opera house, reunification palace, notre dame cathedral and the post office. we booked a suite room and its big although there's no separation betwwen the room and the small living room but the hotel is very new so its really clean and nice and have a comfortable bed. the breakfast is good even though they have the same variety of foods for our 3days 2 nights stay. You can save a lot of money for staying in this hotel because it is very accessible. The staffs are good. the receptionist and the bell boy can speak english. they can help you with the directions. The pool is small but its ok because when we use it only me and my son is using the pool. the spa is very nice.they have a very good facilities

My brother & me were travelling to Saigon for the first time. We got an extra large room with two single beds. All our requests (non smoking room, higher floor & two beds) are been arranged accordingly. This hotel concept is modern & minimalist. The room is big enough for us. The location of the hotel is in the between of two famous street for tourists which are Bu Vien & Pham Ngu Lao. very happening area. We booked tours on Klook.com. The office of the Klool.com's local travel agent just next to our hotel. We do not need to walk to find the office every morning before start the tour.

I had stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. What surprised me was the cleanliness of the hotel.Unfortunately the room we booked for some reason wasn't available(or maybe just not allowed for 3 people), but we got instead a free bed & free breakfast for the 3rd person,as well as 3 vouchers for the spa and massage-so it was totally worth the price. The location was also very good,within a walking distance from many main places to visit - like Notre Dame de Saigon,HCMC museum and Ben Tanh Market.A lot of cafes and places to eat around,so deciding where to eat wasnt really a problem. Staff were also very well-mannered and polite,ready to help out anytime! Room service and housekeeping were quick as well.
