"We stumbled upon this hotel on the start of our hike out of Sapa. It is well located at the end of the main strip of restaurants and just before the hiking route ticket office and turn off into the rice terraces where most day hikes from Sapa begin. The hotel is brand new and very modern. The facilities are great and the rooms are spacious. The views from the valley facing rooms are incredible and I suspect amongst the best in town. The buffet breakfast was a delicious and varied mix of Vietnamese and Western options and kept us full until dinner. The free afternoon tea upon returning from a day hike is a nice touch. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a great chat with the owner and general manager at afternoon tea. The pool and gym are great but the hot tub is a little old fashioned and needs to be turned on by the lifeguard from another room and was a bit colder than a normal hot tub. Overall, a great experience and we would definitely stay again."

"- The hotel was exceptionally nice. It had its own style, perfectly mixed between French and Vietnamese style. The rooms were nice, distinct from other hotels in the same kind. - The swimming pool was amazing, and relaxing. - The staffs were friendly, super friendly, and tried their best to serve the customers. The drink quality at the proof-top bar is under average . The only restaurant, where I reserved a table for my anniversary, produced so-so dishes. My lobster soup was even too salty. The chef went out apologized, and offered me a remake of the dish and a cake. Sometimes, I heard the staff mentioned me and my girlfriend in their small talks when I was at the lobby. It's not about bad things, but at least they should not talk that out loud. As the staffs were friendly, helpful, and I didn't think they are intentional, so, I let all those nitpicks go and enjoyed my stay at the hotel. However, I was expecting more than just purely friendliness in a 5-star hotel of a famous brand"

"It is the best hotel. In the staying time with my family , We meet the most kind, nice and smile staff than I have ever visited hotel before. The staff explained the map of the town of Sapa and helped us for safe and special trip. Pistachio hotel facilities are very convenient because there is a swimming pool, spa and roof top bar in the hotel. If we want to see the wide sapa scenery, we can just go to the roof top anytime. At the roof top, we can see the nature downtown of sapa at the daytime, and the a lot of twinkling stars at the night. It's a very beautiful and fantastic experience for us. And every morning, We can taste the kind of vietnam rice noodles that change every day for breakfast. While eating breakfast, It's extra blessing to be able to see the beautiful scenery. Thanks a lot about the pistachio all things. I hope we can meet again. 🙏🙏🙏"

"Our trip to Sapa was made amazing by our stay in SilkPath. We took an overnight train from Hanoi to Lao Cai and arrived in the hotel at 0700hrs. While it was full house, the hotel was kind enough to let us use the shower facilities to freshen ourselves in the morning before heading out for the adventure in Sapa. Everyone was so warm and nice from the reception staff to the porter and to the restaurant staff. Waldo was superb in arranging all our needs from transportation to pick up, and sharing tips on travelling in this beautiful town. Not to mentioned, that the GM Steve was very helpful and nice in ensuring that our stay and visit was all in order. Kudos to the team for having such a exemplary leader. This has to be one of the best hotel we have stayed in and will definitely be back! Well done SilkPath team! Truly 5 star! "

"We stayed 2 nights at Sapa Horizon Hotel. They were previously named as Sapa Paradise View Hotel but renamed as Sapa Horizon Hotel after their renovation. Our initial choice was another hotel nearer the lake. However, as that hotel did not offer non-smoking room on non-smoking floor, we chose to stay with Sapa Horizon Hotel instead. Since both of us have sinus, this is an important criteria for us. We were so glad to stay with Sapa Horizon Hotel and here are why we highly recommend this hotel to visitors to Sapa Town. 1. Responsive. Prior to booking, we made some clarifications about the room before making our decision. David was so quick to answer all my emails. I even asked him about the flooding condition in Northern Vietnam the night before our flight. He gave us an update before we flew to Vietnam. It was comforting to know that we had someone to count on in Vietnam, especially when we couldn't speak the language. 2. Friendly and service excellence. After a few days in Sapa, we came to realise that friendliness and service excellence were not a given in Sapa. At Sapa Horizon Hotel, we were always greeted with a friendly smile by staff who are ever ready to help us. Mr Kim even offered us a free room to shower after our trekking tour, even after we had checked out from their hotel! 3. Quiet. I'm a very light sleeper and I usually don't sleep well in hotels if I can hear noise from the road or even from next door. Our room in Sapa Horizon Hotel was so quiet; I was able to sleep right through on both nights. Mr Kim said their renovation included double glazed windows which completely cut off noise from the streets. 4. Comfort, food and more. The bed was really comfortable. The firmness was just right for us. The hotel provides international channels including HBO. The breakfast buffet has more than 20 varieties of food choices! It may not be of Michelin Star standard, but good enough to fuel us up for the day. To David, Mr Kim and staff, Thank you for yo"

"Hotel staff here are amazing and will go an extra mile to make you feel at home! We booked the family suite and the rooms we stayed in are beautiful and classy! Breakfast here is sumptuous with both ala carte and buffet for you to choose from. Lovely Thu/team of staff was very attentive and Ensure all our needs are catered to. Upon departure, they even gifted us delicious sandwiches and Tony personally sent us to the bus station to Ensure that we do not miss our bus back to Hanoi! Would strongly recommend this place to everyone coming to Sapa looking for an enjoyable and relaxing time! One suggestion for anyone coming to Sapa would be to bring a pair of good walking shoes to walk on the muddy and slippery slopes. Oh and did I mention hot pots/salmon pots (their version of Hai Di Lao) in Sapa are great too! "
