We experienced some of the best Vietnamese accommodations and hospitality during our trip to Sapa. Our plan was to book three different hotels in several different areas around Sapa. First night in Sapa stayed at Pao’s. . . second night at another more rustic hotel. . . third night – Back to Pao’s! Front office manager (Mr. Thang) – went out of his way to make our stay memorable. He was supported by friendly and capable front line staff including Mr. Dat and Mr. Duong. All of the staff could speak English well and couldn’t have done anything more to make our trip there easy and special. During our check-out, Mr. Thang handed us his card and let us know if there was anything he could do. . . to let him know. After one night in a different hotel, we came running back to Pao’s. We were greeted with upgraded room and warm welcome from all the staff – that treated us like returning VIPs. Our stay in Aira was far better than what we expected. They let us check-in early at 8 A.M after we had our local breakfast and main streets observed. The room is beautiful with a stunning view of foggy valley below and gigantic Fansipan up high. We had a Deluxe Balcony facing the mountains. Highly recommended even if you don't smoke like us. (Our trip is in late June, which is the time when it is raining and foggy all day) My most memorable and satisfying memory of Aira was the staff. They were so thoughtful and generous. Can't believe i can meet hotel staff of this level in Sapa. They were honestly better than lots of 5-star-hotel i've stayed at I didn't like the pool. The placement is not comfortable for me. The road to the hotel is indeed terrible. Not that anyone can do anything about. P.s: if we'd ever come back to Sapa again, Aira would mostly be the reason why.

Nice 5 star hotel in Sapa. Very clean and tidy. Nice view of the mountain specially when partially cloudy. Staff are extremely helpful. May be I should put the comment for the tour. The tour is booked from the hotel for a full day private tour 43$ per person. The tour stated 9.15 am , lunch stated at 1.25 pm. Then the tour ended after lunch about 2.15.pm. With no activities after lunch. It looks like a half day tour with lunch. And the lunch is poor quality. I think the management are keen to know this comment for guest better service This comment is also passed to the reception front desk.

We stayed 2 nights at Sapa Horizon Hotel. They were previously named as Sapa Paradise View Hotel but renamed as Sapa Horizon Hotel after their renovation. Our initial choice was another hotel nearer the lake. However, as that hotel did not offer non-smoking room on non-smoking floor, we chose to stay with Sapa Horizon Hotel instead. Since both of us have sinus, this is an important criteria for us. We were so glad to stay with Sapa Horizon Hotel and here are why we highly recommend this hotel to visitors to Sapa Town. 1. Responsive. Prior to booking, we made some clarifications about the room before making our decision. David was so quick to answer all my emails. I even asked him about the flooding condition in Northern Vietnam the night before our flight. He gave us an update before we flew to Vietnam. It was comforting to know that we had someone to count on in Vietnam, especially when we couldn't speak the language. 2. Friendly and service excellence. After a few days in Sapa, we came to realise that friendliness and service excellence were not a given in Sapa. At Sapa Horizon Hotel, we were always greeted with a friendly smile by staff who are ever ready to help us. Mr Kim even offered us a free room to shower after our trekking tour, even after we had checked out from their hotel! 3. Quiet. I'm a very light sleeper and I usually don't sleep well in hotels if I can hear noise from the road or even from next door. Our room in Sapa Horizon Hotel was so quiet; I was able to sleep right through on both nights. Mr Kim said their renovation included double glazed windows which completely cut off noise from the streets. 4. Comfort, food and more. The bed was really comfortable. The firmness was just right for us. The hotel provides international channels including HBO. The breakfast buffet has more than 20 varieties of food choices! After 45 days travelling in Vietnam, we must stay this hotel was the best one! We arrived at 3 am in Sapa and they had a room available for us with no extra charge. The room was spacious, comfortable, very clean and with a nice balcony. Good wifi and hot water. The breakfast was just delicious and with a lot of variety. During our stay there were some electricity problems in Sapa town and the staff made everything they could to compensate that. They offered us a whole dinner at their restaurant, some laundry service, prepared us snacks for our bus trip and arranged the taxi for the bus station, everything free of charge!!! The staff was so nice for us, always helpful and smiling. Amazing value for money hotel that we highly recommend for a stay in Sapa. Thank you Sapa Garden Hotel for this lovely stay :)

Overall stay is good. Our 1st time in Hanoi & Sapa. Big Deluxe room & well equipped facilities. D1 buffet breakfast was great but did not expect D2 breakfast to be alarte style & limited to 8 items only -can't imagined food restrictions on takers. That waiter who served us couldn't understand or speak English well at all. As a result, long order taking and serving time which took about 25~30 mins. Another waitress was aorund us whom can help but unsure why she didn't. Luckily we head down early that morning (7am) for breakfast as we are heading to Summit in the morning before getting back to Hanoi same day. Dinner serving met expectation. Hotel location wasn't too bad though a little walking is required compared to those in Sapa town. Certainly not recommended to travellers who can't walk long on distance and in slope. Hotels at Sapa town more happenings if you do not mind a bit of noise and on-going road constructions. Will opt hotel in Sapa town instead next time.

We opted for the Mountain view room, and the view was breathtaking. It is as the picture shown. You get the mountain view and overlooking the valley below, could just stare at it for hours. The hotel is slightly off Sapa Town Centre but it wasn't a deal breaker. You can leisurely stroll to the town centre where the streets are lined with restaurants, shops, massage place and tour booking operators. The staff were friendly and flexible enough to allow us early check-in and late check-out, since we took the sleeper train and arrived in Sapa around 7+/8am and took the minivan back to Hanoi around 1530. The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was mediocre but understandable for Sapa standards. The only problem I had with the hotel was that I went to Sapa during winter and the temperature was around 3°C - 5°C, the rooms were equipped with air conditioner/AC that had a heater option but it wasn't strong enough to heat up the room. The water heater also wasn't strong enough.

A group of 5 young ladies from HCM that were very lucky to find this new hotel in Sapa. Even though we stayed only 1 night but we could not be more pleased with the service, special thanks to ms Nhàn and mr Trung (both work at front office) that not only upgraded our rooms for free but also gave us alot of good tips during our visit in Sapa. The facilities are all brand new cuz the hotel was just recently opened, location is the best part cuz its right next to the lake and market, there's alot of local resto around. I would recommend this new hotel to everyone who wants to have a pleasant stay in Sapa. P/s breakfast is also very good with plenty of choices. Ms Trân from HCM.

The Amazing Hotel, centrally located in Sapa, is one of those new-ish types of hotels that needs a little bit more work to be really excellent, and a go to destination for those wanting a little something more from their Sapa experience. Having arrived, as most do, on an extremely early morning train from Hanoi (the less said about that experience the better), Staff were friendly, extremely accommodating and did everything they could to get our room ready in a reasonably short amount of time. We're fairly laid back travellers, so went off to explore the town before we could properly check in. Be warned though. As you arrive in Sapa and guests are deposited from the minibus to their various hotels, you'll spot crowds of local women flocking to the vans to sell their wares. The same applies when (and whenever) leaving your hotel of choice...many people comment on it, but the reality can be fairly overwhelming initially, especially when they not only follow you wherever you go, but then WAIT outside any restaurant or shop you choose to visit! I find it funny, but many will find it intimidating. So, back to the hotel. It's perched on the edge of one of the many hills in Sapa town, with the design really benefitting from the surrounding landscapes. Floor-to-Ceiling windows really do make it feel like you're melting into the scenery. Rooms here are really lovely, and to a standard that you'd only typically expect from some of the bigger cities in Vietnam, and certainly better than many of those. Clean, modern with comfortable beds and beautiful linens, there's also a bar area and enclosed, heated pool on the roof...enjoy a bath-temperature soak on colder, wet days or a post-walk soak and a great cocktail before heading out to find dinner. We didn't ever eat in the Restaurant, so can't comment on that, but the price of drinks is really reasonable especially in comparison to some of the local restaurants and bars. About nearly 2km far from the city center - the cathedral of sapa, but this hotel has surprised us a lot. Nothing different from the photos, it's even better in reality. With Helpful staff, beautiful and clean room with mountain view, this might be one of the best 3-star hotels in town, awesome quality with the price. Also, nice breakfast! We had absolutely enjoyed 3 days 2 nights over there, in a room for 2 whịch was nice and cozy with a wonderful foggy mountain view. We love Sapa and Praha hotel as well. Will come back since we have other occasions to visit the city.

If there is any one person who did not enjoy their stay in Sapa Unique Hotel, I dare say they must be really unreasonable/difficult. service is simply out of this world. This is the first time I have ever encountered such excellent service rendered to me out of the many times I have visited Vietnam. They treat their guests probably like how a Mother would treat her children. We felt extremely well taken care of and it felt closer than home itself! Location was excellent, Room was big and spacious, very good value for money (unless you are expecting 5 star Loccitane amenities or 2000 threadcount satin bedsheets, then Sapa is not for you). But I high recommend this hotel in Sapa anytime. I am an extremely fussy person and get really irritated at the slightest things but this stay really amazed me. Well, my only complaint is... at night if you open the windows, there will be moths/ flies that come into the room. But not a problem - just turn on the A/C. Make sure you book trekking tours with them as their recommendation (on everything) is excellent and well suited to your every needs. Also, they prepared food for us to take on the train. We were so extremely touched by this small gesture! If you are intending to do any tours in Halong Bay, feel free to email them and enquire as they also own a Travel Agency. What really made me happy was... when I offered tips for carrying our heavy lugguage up 2 stories, he told us: "Your Happiness is our Biggest Tips". Shocking for this to happen in Vietnam I dare say. So all in all peeps, book your Hanoi tours with them! We will be back.

- Excellent location: few walks to Sapa Station - train from town to Fansipan cable station by Sun group, also the center ancient church. Nearby a lot of restaurants, coffee shop, souvenir shop, foot massage... we tried H'Mong BBQ restaurant (same group of recommend Sapa Lotus), very delicious food there. Around 1-2 km to the lake and new Sapa market. If you travel by SapaExpress bus, their Sapa stop just across the street to hotel!!! - Excellent in facilities, cleanliness and especially value for money. Only Wi-Fi should be improved, but cellular 4G/3G coverage is very strong for your mobile work. Stayed 1 nite in Family Deluxe City view.

The Sapa Elite Hotel is a short walk away from the heart of Sapa, but this isn't a problem, it's to the hotels advantage. Where it is located on top of a small hill over looking the village of Sapa means that it is just a little bit away from the crowds of people and the build up of shops and restaurants that make up the village. The service from the staff, one in particular was excellent. When some train tickets, which I had previously booked, hadn't yet shown up at the hotel, he didn't hesitate to make several phone calls and work with the travel company to make sure the tickets arrived before my check out. I was very grateful for all his help. My room was far bigger than I ever expected with a king size bed and a very modern, large and clean bathroom. The breakfast had only several choices, but were always delicious and filling. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again at this hotel if I was in Sapa and would suggest that anyone choosing to stay at Sapa Elite Hotel will find a great value for money hotel, which they will whole heartedly enjoy.

Located at a short walk away from the city centre, lies a clean and cosy Sapa Dragon Hotel. The service was great, and all the staff were earnest in providing us with the best service and assisting us with any issues we may have. Special mention and thanks to Ainh, who consistently went out of his way to help my friends and I with everything. We stayed @ the 3 person room, which was clean and pleasant. The management of the hotel was very understanding and went out of their way to assist us. Due to our irregular train timings into Sapa, we reached Sapa much earlier than the checkin time. We had requested for an early checkin prior, but was not promised anything. However, because the occupancy of the hotel was not too high, they allowed us to have an early checkin free of charge (usually their policy states that customers are to pay for 2 nights worth of stay if they request for early checkin) upon arrival. I am very thankful that the management was flexible about this, managing this in a very non-stingy and helpful way. We are very thankful for the effort put into this arrangement and how we were handled very professionally :) The only downside I can mention is the fact that Sapa Dragon Hotel does not have a very good view. This consideration, keeping in mind that many other hotels in Sapa leverage on their good views as the selling point. However, this definitely should not be an issue in contrast to what a great experience this hotel can provide. (good views are just a short hike away heh) Stayed April 2017, travelled with friends

Wonderful hotel in beautiful Sapa. It is in the best part of town: central, but still quiet. And if you stay on the backside of the building you will be treated with the most magnificent view over the valley (especially amazing at sunrise). Very cosy, light wood interior design. Reminiscent of Alpine or Scandinavian mountain cabins. Really the only complaint I have is when new tour groups arrive and the lobby is a bit hectic for half an hour. Highly recommended. THE place to stay in Sapa.

We (group of four) were staying at Eden Boutique Hotel during our visit to Sapa in September 2018. The journey from Hanoi to Sapa took 5-half hours drive on the road (due to land slide at some parts of the road to Sapa). On our arrival to the Hotel at around 6.30pm, the Hotel front-desk took our passports and immediately check us in, knowing that we were tired after a long journey. While waiting for some paperwork, they served us (and the driver) with welcome drinks. The breakfast in the Hotel was very good, especially the pho (broth and rice noodle) was delicious. Sooner, we learnt that the pho was prepared by the Owner of the Hotel with his own secret recipe. Every morning, we enjoyed something a little different for breakfast, and we ordered from the menu as much as we want. All employees in the Hotel are able to communicate with in English, they recommended us places worth visiting depending on the weather on that day in Sapa. I strongly recommend Eden Boutique Hotel Sapa.

I'm at a loss for words at how amazing my stay was at Sapa Relax Hotel & Spa. The hotel is relatively new and my girlfriend and I took a bit of a risk booking a room here. We were not disappointed! The accommodations were very clean, beautiful, and modern. The complimentary breakfast was delicious (not mediocre like many other hotels in Vietnam). The staff was incredibly friendly and treated us with great warmth. We felt as though we were more than just regular hotel guests. Anything we needed, they provided--including recommendations on activities to do around town. We were able to get massages right in the hotel and left the spa feeling like a million bucks. The view of the terraced mountains from our bedroom balcony was breathtaking. I only wish I could give this hotel 6 stars! This is the gold standard for hotels in Vietnam, and VERY reasonably priced!! Do yourself a favor and book your stay here when you are in Sapa. I definitely will again whenever I am back in town.

The hotel has professional service in the way they nicely arranged a room at high floor per our request and sent a confirmation email for our information in advance. The room is exactly the same as the photos with excellent view over the hills. One plus side is the sitting area which is well positioned with a view:) The hotel is clean and all the equipments function well. This is a well situated hotel - at the center Sapa and just on the way to Ta van - Lao Chai villages. Also, it is just opposite the Sapa Paradise restaurant which we had excellent local Vietnamese dinner with reasonable price. The breakfast however is acceptable with very standard dishes. However, the street in front of th hotel is quite small. In addition, when we arrived, there is a construction site near the hotel which caused traffic jam and noise. Overall, this is a very nice hotel with professional staff and good location.

The hotel can be easily seen. Location is perfect in Sapa! It is very near to fansipan cable car station with less than 10 minutes walking distance. There are many restaurants and cafes located around the hotel. So we don't need to worry about our meals at all. Check in process was smooth. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Staffs were very friendly. We have been assisted on the transportation problem. The receptionist helped us to contact our bus driver patiently without any additional charges. The buffet breakfast was okay. The dining hall was clean and had a good ambience. There are washrooms beside the reception hall. It is convenient to those who reach the hotel earlier than the check in time. We tidied up ourselves after a long journey of reaching to Sapa. Besides, we were allowed to keep our luggages at the hotel and go for other places after check out. In overall, this hotel is highly recommended! Thank you for the good service provided.

Our room is on fourth floor with private balcony so we can clearly see Muong Hoa valley and Fansipan mountain, The room is big with twin bed .. that is very comfortable.. . the bathroom is modern and convenient for using with bathstub... The lunch on restaurant SAPA SKY VIEW is so tasty .. We love to sit on this nice restaurant that may be the best place in Sapa to enjoy fresh air and outdoor table is the best choice to enjoy the amazing view of Sapa .. We really love this hotel !!!

Excellent base to explore Sapa market and shops/restaurants up a quiet (and steep!) road away from the traffic. Hotel organised a variety of treks to the local villages and hill tribes including a return journey by minibus! Transfer to the station and train tickets back to Hanoi we're organised through the hotel, they booked us a much better cabin at a reasonable price compared to the one booked through our Hanoi hotel to get to Sapa! Also the transfer was cheaper than the minibus that picked us up at the train station on the way there , I think it's best to book this through the hotel both ways in advance. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly and spoke excellent English. Would have stayed longer if the weather had been better!

Good basic facilities very comfortable large King bed in a fabulous location walking distance to cable car entrance, fabulous restaurants. The management here are committed to employing locals who may not be as experienced but good on them for supporting the community. Sapa sisters trekking are just near the hotel - we booked a great private trek with them which was. A highlight.

We had the best stay at this hotel in Sapa. My main reason for picking it was so we'd be away from the noise of the main town of Sapa and as this hotel is right on the outskirts it definitely delivered. The scenery is incredible overall but the views from the rooms is beautiful. If the day is foggy well there is nothing you can do but on sunny days...Wow. Breakfast was so good, the buffet had anything even for the pickiest of eaters. Eggs, ham, fresh baguettes, pancakes, fried rice, Pho, little sweet cakes, veggies, cheese, fruit, coffee, tea, seriously we were not expecting it to have so many options so that was a big bonus. The rooms are super clean and had all the little amenities (comb, toothbrush +paste, shower cap, ect) hairdryer in the room, fast wifi, motorbike rental on site, laundry services (everything came back fresh and clean) and mostly the staff always tried to be super helpful in any way they could. So, so nice. We didn't bother to ask about tours from the hotel and such because there are 2 places in town run by local Hmong women (Sapa Sisters & Sapa O'Chau- highly recommended) and we wanted to use either one of them so we just went directly to the tour offices and inquired there. We meant to stay 2 nights and stayed 5. Went on a tour left our luggage here & returned everything a ok. Only one morning, there weren't too many guests so they asked us to choose one thing from the menu and we were a bit disappointed but then again we eat a lot and there are tons of places to grab extra breakfast at nearby. This did not affect our opinion of this beautiful, clean new hotel. We would return and highly recommend staying here. We had friends who stayed more into town and they hated it- they should have stayed here! Wish we could have stayed here longer!

I have booked a standard room. I arrived Sapa quite early with the train. And it is normal where the room is not ready such early in the morning at 8 am. I have rented a motorbike from the hotel with a good price and start my day in Sapa to nearby Cat Cat village. When we were back to the hotel at 10 am, the room still not ready yet. It is ok where the check in time is not so early for the hotel normally. So my wife and I ordered breakfast set, sitting outside the restaurant, enjoy our breakfast with great mount Fansipan in front of our eyes!! Wow!! So enjoyable!! Not only the view, but the alacarte breakfast set is just so delicious!! And we were so lucky that Mr.Luan upgraded our room to junior suite room with no extra charges as our standard room is still not ready. The room is big, nice view from the room straight to mount Fansipan!! The every each of the staff in the hotel speak English, and they are very helpful. They show we the way to sightseeing by motorbike, they recommend me which tracking trip we should join, and they show me how to get enjoy in Sapa. The daily breakfast is wonderful with fresh fruit juice with no added extra water. Some people said t is a bit far from the town. But for me it is just 10 mins walk and I could stay far from the traffic and busy town. Location is not an issue here. I am rarely give such high score for the hotel that I have stay. But H'muong Hotel worth all the star that I have given.

this hotel located near sapa market, they have a beautiful view to the hill, and they are close to cat cat waterfall, where you can find cat cat village over there, the room is clean, and they have bed warmer and clean toilet, they will serve fruit for you every morning in the room, i'm highly recommend this hotel for traveler. and the receptionist guy which is son of the owner speak well english and friendly too, you can ask information about sapa to him.

Absolutely loved our time at Sapa Memory. The hotel was clean, great rooms in a quiet central location. One of the best aspects was Ngo on the front desk. He went out of his way to help us arrange transport and then gave us his number so that when we were out and about we could contact him if we had any difficulties. Thank you Ngo your hotel is fortunate to have you representing it. We recommended this hotel to everyone we met.

This hotel has definitely got the best value for money,They have been a great help in our trip, upgrading us to a mountain view room, allowing us to check in way before the check in time because we arrived early in the morning.The areas are nicely equipped, magnificent, with views that are great, beds and showers, TV, towels provided, blankets and sheets. We'd highly recommend this particular hotel to anyone planning to invest some time in Sapa.

It was AWESOME! It was a total surprise with the condition of the room. The room was sparkling clean and the toilet was fantastic. Almost as clean as my house toilet! (And my mom is one meticulous woman when it comes to her toilet so that's saying something) one minor problem though is the hot water. It's a bit cranky but most of the time it works properly after letting the water run for a few minutes. The host Mr Toan was just perfect. Helping us with every need and recommending to us the various places and how to get there. Oh and the food is good! Breakfast comes with the room for us and we tried the omelette and the pho. They were tasty! Location is awesome as it's just a 2 min walk from the popular tourist Street of all the n8ce cafes and restaurants. Sapa market is much further away though but it's nothing a short scooter ride can't fixed. Oh and the scooters only cost 5 USD to rent for the entire day. To top it all off, the view from your hotel room is just heavenly! To me the view more than make up the cost for the stay and mind you the rooms here are only about 30usd a night. That is cheaper than many of the hotels that is around the area. So point is I highly recommend this to anyone looking for accomodation in SAPA.

Chapa Dew is at the centre of Sapa so we had everything we need around the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful right at the check in and still beyond the check out time. We were quite sure ourselves to pay for the extra hours after the check out time, we just got to the reception to ask is our room was still available until 3 p.m and the staff told us that we could keep it till we leave Sapa without being charged because the new guests who use our room would come in the evening. Buffet breakfast was good and I enjoyed sitting at the table next to the window because it's like a small garden right outside. We were late for breakfast all the 2 mornings that we stayed in the hotel but the staff and the manager were so kind that they waited for us until we finished and we said we didnt want any thing else. (We were late because we enjoyed so much the early morning admiring the rice terraces from our bed since we had a mountain view and the window was so big that we just had to keep the curtains open and we could have the amazing view right at the moment we woke up). Our room was so spacious and clean as the hotel is quite new. The only disappointing thing is the noisy construction around the hotel but it's everywhere in Sapa centre so it's quite unavoidable unless you would like to stay in the ethnic village or in the new area of Sapa which are certainly far from the services. I would suggest this hotel to my friends who travel to Sapa in the future because we really have what we pay for.
