Pros: Clean comfortable place to rest 5 minutes walk away from concert venue at Impact. Shuttle around the complex also available every half hour. Nice restaurant. Great staff. Cons: Airport transfer service would have been a welcome plus. No food or restaurants open nearby after midnight. Although when open in the day, the Taste restaurant in the hotel was very good. Buffet breakfast is small but well run. What stood out: Many guests came back after the rock concert feeling hungry but only the bar was open. The reception staff took it upon themselves to fire up the kitchen to make fried rice. I call that above and beyond good service. The same good service attitude was consistent throughout our 3D2N stay. Special mention: Am for sorting out a minor confusion with our booking.

"We had a great stay here. We were in Bangkok for a baseball tournament at International School of Bangkok. This hotel was a great option, 15-20 minutes away. Great service, great staff. We booked 2 executive rooms that were adjoining and the boys loved it. The rooms, though small, were comfortable. We loved the option of having a snack in the executive lounge and having a glass of wine after a day of watching baseball. We had everything we needed and would definitely recommend this hotel. Also, there is a great local market on the other side of the Impact Center where my son and I found some great deals. We hardly had to bargain because everything was already great prices. If you stay here, check it out."

We stayed here for two nights with a large group and the staff were very accommodating in ensuring that our rooms were all together. The rooms are spacious and clean with very comfortable beds; the breakfast has a huge variety of food to choose from and the reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was also great for us - close to the airport, markets out in the street, a shopping mall across the street with a large supermarket and numerous options of where to eat (fast food, restaurants and a food court) all within walking distance and as we were there for a swim meet at the International School Bangkok it was only 10 - 15 minutes to the school. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel - we will be staying here again.

The Asia Airport Don Muang Hotel is a rather large property near the Don Muang airport in Bangkok. I booked this hotel using Agoda.com. It looks like it was built in the late 80’s or early 90’s although the rooms have been refurbished for sure. It is convenient to that north end of town near Rangsit, which is why I chose it. The hotel and the room were clean and met my wife’s and my needs perfectly for a hotel in that area to visit family. Room service is 24 hours and is very reasonably priced. The food was quite good and the portions good as well. Perfect for when arriving late in Bangkok. This is not a resort, but it is a clean, affordable hotel with a really nice staff. If that’s what you’re looking for – or you are looking for a hotel as you transit the Don Muang airport – this is a solid choice. Also good if you need accommodations in the Rangsit area. Reasonably priced, I have booked a stay there for when my wife and I come through Bangkok later this month.

One of the best Airport Hotel experiences I've ever had in Bangkok, for that matter any city. I was only staying for one night in transit yet founf myself wanting to stay even longer, which is usually the opposite with Airport Hotels. Great Value for money, Room was appointed like many so called 5 Star hotels. Great bathroom, with bath window overlooking the City. Buffet Breakfast was top class, not the usual four star Hotel Breakfast. I would gladly make a short layover in Bangkok anytime now that I have discovered this Hotel.

Ram a garden Hotel is said to be the hotel with best recreation in Bangkok. 1. In terms of location, it is located in the central business area, convenient to go by MRT (Bangkok Metropolitan Railway Train). It is located in the 3 main roads, namely phaholyotin, Viphavadi and Ladprao Road. I can go everywhere with bus, taxi, and MRT. It is about 5 min by car to BTS (Bangkok Transit System). 2. services-wise, this hotel is full equipped with various services including liquor bar, restaurant with Thai , International, Chinese, and Japanese foods. Other than that, you can enjoy the swimming pool, spa and exercise room . The staff her is said to be the best in town, with 24 hour room service. I can order some supper when I work late at night,or when I am busy with my job. 3. Pricing is also said to be reasonable with this type of hotel. It is cost effective compared with value I get . 4. sports center. It is equipped with any type of sports ranging from swimming pool, tennis court , golf court, fitness center, golf course .

The Journey Hotel is one of the best minimalist hotels I have stayed in. This hotel has a business hotel feel to it and is very close to Don Muaeng Airport. It is perfect if you want to catch an early flight from Don Muaeng. The rooms are very very spacious! The price is very affordable and the staff there go out of their way to help you despite their lack of English conversation skills. You should keep in mind that this hotel is close to Don Muaeng. Which implies that it is far from the central Bangkok and all the attractions. It'll be a good 1 hr taxi ride in one direction considering there is no traffic congestion. The hotel doesn't have its own restaurant but there some nice local and European food options at a stone's throw. This is a perfect stopover hotel and I would definitely book it again if I have an early morning flight from Don Muaeng.

the hotel is in good size grounds set back from main road but not noisy at all. It's not a modern boutique hotel but an older style though the rooms are larger and very clean. There is a large car park in front which unfortunately was full due to a meeting there but there was parking at the rear, if there is a meeting the place is busy, you can't sit in reception and breakfast is busy BUT the staff were very helpful and speak acceptable English, We were upgraded for free to a deluxe room with a fruit platter, gowns, slippers, bath tub, minibar, safe, sofa and chairs and we weren't disturbed from neighbours or the hallway as they have covered the tiles with carpet. We actually had a good night sleep, the bed was very comfortable with 4 pillows and there were black out curtains.The buffet breakfast was pretty good with quite a large choice of foods . There is also a coffee shop and alternative restaurant there. The lift has signs for fitness, massage , sauna and pool, none of which are at the hotel any more. They have been closed since March 2015 and are being relocated to a new area and not expected to be completed for another 2 years ! Internet wasn't the fastest but it was free and worked. Next to the hotel is a small night market selling local foods and a short walk, as well as a 7-11 convenience store and across the road (use the footpath) is a mall called the Avenue which has a mix of foods, Pizza, Korean, Japanese and Sizzler ( steaks, burgers, salad bar).. We were there as we had to visit the Government offices a short 500m walk away so it was very convenient for us. Overall it's a great hotel in a great position but don't be surprised if there is a meeting on, this won't ruin your stay but it's not a quiet hotel.

The hotel is ideal for congress and business meetings. The hotel is clean and tidy, with a staff trying to do the best in serving your needs best possible. The rooms are in very good condition and kept clean and nice. Also an important thing is that the hotel is located near to Don Muang airport which is only 10 min drive away. The stay was very positive, and I can only say that I would book this again if needed.

I took this hotel due to my early morning flight the nextday. Its located far from any tourist destination. 7eleven is about 500m away. Tesco 1km away. Its facing Shell petrol station. Theres nothing much here. Most taxi dont know where it is located. Need to call the hotel for location. Plus is its about 25mins to Don Muang international Airport. Trip cost bth88 only. If you taking the taxi from airport to the hotel they overcharge us bth600! Breakfast spread was sufficient. Room was clean on the 5th floor. Very well design. Lobby is inviting.

This hotel is best for staying if u have a connecting flight from DMK or BKK There is a fashion island mall close by which is good for branded shopping stuff if you have some time. Otherwise typical markets and tourist attractions are far from this hotel. This is not a tourist area at all. I didn't find any restaurants with menus in english. Otherwise in Bangkok tourist areas, all restaurants have bi lingual menus.

The hotel is clean and tidy and very near to Don Mung airport, It is perfect as a 1 night stay as a place to stay before travelling from DMK. The best feature for me, was the car park there. It is covered, very large and locked - very secure. It costs 100 baht a night, first night free as you have booked a room there. The room is OK for one night, clean and functional and costs around 700 baht. The hotel is very hard to find even though it is very close to DMK. There is a free shuttle sevice to DMK, but it only runs at 6am and 7am. Taxi from the hotel to DMK is around 100 baht. I stayed there 1 night and parked for 9 days and the cost for parking was 800 baht. I was very pleased to stay here overnight as we had a very early morning flight to Korea and it meant we did not have to miss a nights sleep with all the extra travelling to DMK, Very relaxing and stress free (well reduced anyway!).

Ebina Hotel is really really near don muang airport that's why a few airport cab drivers seemed hesitate to drive us, so we didn't want to bargain when the taxi counter staff charged us 200baht. From hotel to airport, the very nice lady cab driver used meter and the fare was about 100 baht only. Hotel to Chatuchak market is not too far but the journey back is further due to one-way road and cab driver have to drive pass the hotel on the other side of the road towards airport then u-turn after IT Mall. After passing by two 7-11, ask the driver to turn left into the lane , you will see the tall hotel on the left. The hotel surrounding might look remote at first, but after exploring, in fact it's quite happening. There is a big spa & massage place next door(staff quite friendly), and a restaurant (in residential house setting) which serves very very yummie thailand food, many local customers, we ate there every night-big bone soup, papaya salad, bbq fish, etc. all are really aroi, price reasonable and staff are friendly, miss the food... There is a market right next to the hotel too which opens in the morning till around 1pm, yummie food & lots of stuff to buy. There are also several convenient stores outside the hotel. Staff of Ebina Hotel are very friendly & helpful, especially Ms Chanchao & Kat-sorry if I spell your name wrongly :). Concierge always willing to walk all the way outside the hotel to call for cab for us. The room we stayed is very spacious, comfortable and clean. We like the breakfast too, many variety, fruits, salad, noodle, etc. Will stay in this hotel again.

Booked a double queen room through agoda, arrived late at night to be given a twin room which was much, much smaller. Nothing could be done that night as it was a night receptionist. Next day we queried with both agoda and the hotel reception. Reception made the relevant calls to agoda and cleared up the problem and moved us into the correct room which i had booked. The double queen room was very nice lots of space in the room which we needed as we had three large suitcases. Comfy queen size beds, shower room and toilet also nice. The Room also had a fridge and a safe. Note some of the roads in the area close at 11:30pm so you will need to go via the roads near the university when they are closed. You can hear aeroplanes occaisionally but they weren't really loud enough disturb our sleep.

This hotel is very new and clean. The room is very good and big. The bed is very comfortable and nice. I love it here. Will come back again. The staff is really really nice. She helped me with everything. They even provided free dessert when I came back from work. Breakfast is very good. They change menu every single day. Especially dessert, it is very varieties. The hotel also has a free bike in case you do not have a car to go out. You will love it here.

I booked this hotel as I had a very long journey from the Gold Coast and was flying out next day to Chiang Rai. Be aware that it is walking distance from Don Mueang Airport, walk across the aero bridge through the Hotel lobby of Amari Hotel and out onto the Street, I was quoted 200 baht from the taxi waiting there. Walk along the road to the 7/11 turn left and it is only couple of hundred metres. Check in was very quick and the young lady carried my 20kg bag upstairs as there is No lift. The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet.I did not eat there so cannot comment on breakfast. I thought the Hotel should be rated above 2 star as it was excellent value for money. I suggested to the Manager that they should place a sign on the road near Amari Hotel to make it a little easier to get there, I was lucky I spoke to a person at the 7/11 who had previously stayed at the Hotel. When travelling I will use this hotel again, excellent.

I've been flying domestically to Bangkok for a day/night stay and so far this has been the best place I've found that's walking distance to the airport. bear in mind if you choose to stay at a distance to far to walk to and from the airport you must factor in your travel expenses when reviewing the price of the hotel. the walk is about 10. minutes and its in a nice mini town which has its own charm independent from the mainstream Bangkok. the room aims at comfort and convenience, it doesn't have a soundproof door so some sound does intrude but the hotel is down a Soi so it escapes the more invasive noises of vehicles. the pool is great escape from heat and harsh life of the capital. the lady at the restaurant on the top floor is extremely helpful. I've been trying out a. number of hotels around Don Mueang Airport and after finding this my search is finally over.

My partner and I booked this place for Foo Fighters concert at IMPACT Challenger Hall 2, Bangkok. The place is indeed near/walking distance to the hall. The place has strong aircon and the quality of the room is not bad for the place - the bed and room were clean. The place itself is a neighborhood and it is not the cleanest place we've stayed in Thailand, but we will recommend it because of the great location, room quality, and the helpful staff of SK Muangthongthani Apartment, most especially if you are coming from an event or concert at IMPACT. Below C9 Popular Condominium are many eateries. The location is great for foodies and people on a budget. We especially enjoyed the one just beside their office. The only difficultly we had is that WiFi is not strong in our room in the 15th floor so we cannot connect. We had to go down to their office to use the net.

this is the first time I stay at this hotel but I found it great stay very quite small hotel I think only 40 rooms best ones are ground floor as soon as you open patio doors the swimming pool right there to jump in the swimming pool clean. the breakfast is ok more like a continental breakfast but they did start putting one hot meal out each day the food places around hotel not look good but the taste is to die for and great no tummy problems. the staff very helpful only speak little English but they understand and great price I booked through agoda.com better than deal direct with hotel. and only 15 min drive to airport in taxi about 100 thb = £2.00 great price

I chose the hotel because I wanted to be near the airport for an early flight, so I was only there one night. I didn't use any of the hotels amenities, I didn't eat there or order room service, although the price list for room service was cheap. 711 was just a short walk away from the hotel, and across the road from that there are food stalls, and also a little night market which again I didn't use. The next morning I was woken with a friendly wake up call, I had a taxi booked for Me and waiting when I checked out which was done very quickly and efficiently. My only gripe really is the taxi, the hotel should of made sure that the taxi put on their meter, it really is just a short ride away from the hotel and should cost on a meter no more than 50 bht depending on traffic? I left early in the morning and there was no traffic and got there in like 5 mins,and he charged Me 200bht. I live in Thailand so obviously I know I was being ripped off......I wouldn't stay at the hotel if you wanna go into Bangkok because it's just too far way and would be too stressful, in My opinion it's a great stop over hotel!
